So now that the price is dropping, do not fret as it's the perfect time to buy! with bitcoin once again in the 3000's $100 will go much farther now than it did just a few weeks ago. You can possibly even buy your way into the larger investment level right now and ride the wave! Capitalize  on this moment to double down. Even if it lowers a bit more it's still in our favor. because as soon as this insecurity is gone Bitcoin will make another run and my guess is that it would hit 6000+. Especially with bankers buying it up while denouncing it publicly. Getting to your first coin is a milestone and will allow you/me/all of us to participate in the community at a whole new level and from a new perspective.

Yes,since i am a small investor,so my time is open now.Because Bitcoin price are falling down now.

In Bitcoin, every dip can be a good opportunity to buy into it or increase one's holdings further. As Bitcoin is now suffering some hemorrhage am sure this is one of the best time to buy the King of all Cryptos. I am also certain that soon Bitcoin can be making a comeback when things will get clearer and the dust has already settled. Let us not panic but use this window of opportunity to have more Bitcoin.

I personally use faucets along with investment when done right in one week I can make quite a bit. Each week I gain satoshi a little faster. it's super exciting to think that in a years time I may have a whole bitcoin and a side income from it!

Now it is a good time but you never know if the price will drop more. For me, as a small investor, the best strategy is to buy regularly, no matter the price, averaging the cost. It is much better than trying to time the market because when the price falls, it might keep falling; and the other way around.

Another reason is, I am only able to save small amounts to invest at certain times. So, as I believe in BTC for the long term, whenever I have certain amount, I just buy no matter the price.

maybe this is a good time to buy bitcoin but my suggestion don't buy all of your money but make split in 3 order buy in different price for example you can buy at $3963, $3933, $3910. the amount of btc you want to buy is up to you but remember don't put all buy in a single buy order because this can prevent you from a big loss if the price is getting down more deep.

I think this is the best time to invest, however I don't have funds presently else I could have invested $500 into Bitcoin for making some profit.

Indeed today that bitcoin is 3k plus dollars only is the best time to buy bitcoin. The last time I heard that btc is 2000 dollar before and it doubled to 4. So I am believing that it will follow the same trend it has like before the fork happened before.

I agree with the OP on buying the dips but buying and holding Bitcoin for only $100? Do you people have real jobs? If you have no job, then do yourself and your family a favor and go out of your house and look for one. You cannot be rich with a $100 investment. What you should be doing is work and save some of your monthly salary to buy the dips.

Anyone bought at 4k + will no doubt advertise to buy. The other side of the story is that it may go deeper for another 1000. - Take you're own responsibility :)

You are right.  And I actually buy bitcoins when I saw that its price goes down.  I feel sad that I lost some good amount of it but I see the brighter side of it.  It is time for me to buy more bitcoin because bitcoin is bitcoin. Its price will surely goes up in due time.

The price is dropping because the just like in every market the rules of demand and offer are supreme, there are less people buying than ones selling.So no, there are no investors flocking over, everybody is expecting to see a real movement be it upwards or downwards before taking a decision.

And traditionally, people rush to buy coins not in the dips but when price spikes.

This is a good thing for many investors that wants to buy on a low budget, and I think yes the users that bought bitcoin on the $4000 mark value is surely frustrated right now in buying it on that kind of level, and that people would be very persevere in making thread like this that it is a good way to really buy bitcoin.

This does not mean that a lot of people don't want to buy, it just means they are waiting to get a better price. A lot of people dream to buy $3000 BTC so they are waiting for that price. That is the strong resistance now. The problem with noobs is the fact that they don't know it's too risky to wait for a perfect price. We know with %100 certainty that BTC will go back to $5000+, but we don't know if it will even touch $3000, so noobs should hurry up and buy.

I'm not so sure that Bitcoin price will go that low as 3000$ or even more but after current correction the price would probably go further up, of that I'm sure. And now it's the good timing to enlarge your amount of Bitcoins if you have some extra funds to invest so don't miss the opportunity and enjoy in profit afterwards.

Why not wait for a little bit more, as chinese exchange will stop trading on 9/30, chinese people will probably sell their bitcoin until that day thus the price will decrease even more. So if you want to enter, i suggest wait for a little bit as the price will down until near $3000 or even lower.

I think the price will still continue dropping down. I converted bitcoin this past few days and men i tell you should have wait more it is a trap i think the price will continue to drop down and so wait for it. I have no plan to buy or invest in bitcoin but unfortunately or maybe fortunately my earnings in signature was not yet converted into fiat I am actually planning to sell them this week but since the price drop I decided to keep it for a while and wait till the price pump again if it is faith choice I may have good profit out of it in few weeks

I think as well that this might not be the end of the line.
Nothing is certain, all we have are rumors and the intention of one exchange to stop working in 16 days.
I already have coins, these I hold. No matter what.
But rebuying right now into the market? That is too much of a gamble for me.
I can imagine that more exchanges will follow the example of BTCC, that can lead to more disturbances on the maket and an even lower price.

Yes , this is a good ideal, this dropping price of Bitcoin is caused of some fucking fake news of Mafia of China plus some stupid CEO that doesn't have Bitcoin. They all want to low the price of bitcoin as much as they can . So they can gather more bitcoin for their own.

This is a great segue into a nice discussion. When will it bottom out? if you have say $50-200 when will you get the best bang for your buck pushing you closer to a milestone? imagine an investment that gave you 0.1BTC or higher each time!

I don't believe in sheep mentality, if my coins were liquid I would have sold of and started waiting for the bottom, but as it is i'm content to keep piling it on and gain another quarter to half of a bitcoin. 1 bitcoin means my interest in bitcoin will go up substantially, I only have the potential to gain.

That's true, this is a great opportunity to buy bitcoin. Or maybe bitcoin will continue to go down and a lot of people are going to buy bitcoin again and in time bitcoin will recover again it's price. I believe that this is the right time to invest.

I also agree with OP that the current dip in price of Bitcoin is an opportunity for small investor to join the bitcoin market.   It is quite a long time since Bitcoin had this huge crash in price.  




Smart, that maybe you are implying.  Since buying at this dip means more profit when Bitcoin price recover and confusion and FUD effect waivers.

This is an excellent time for investors. I myself have swapped some LTC to BTC now that the price is lower.  I love bitcoin because their sound monetary policy is one of its most important features. It’s possible to see when new bitcoins are created or how many bitcoins are in circulation. Bitcoins can be sent from anywhere in the world to anywhere else in the world. No bank can block payments or close your account. Bitcoin is censorship resistant money.  I am so glad I live in this time where banks cant control my money.

For those who have been waiting for a nice price entry point, the moment might have come,  now that bitcoin is just a few hundred dollars above $3,000 with no indication that it's going to go back up quickly. That China effect surely made this possible and even for those who bought when the price was above $4,000, cost averaging might turn out to be a wise decision.

It is a good time to start buying Bitcoins. The problem with small investors is that could mean that many of them are also inexperienced investors. These may be the same ones that panic sell when the price starts to drop. That may be one reasons why the price has dropped this much already.

Once someone panic sells they are probably less likely to buy back in. I think drops like this chase away some of these inexperienced investors. This is not always such a bad thing because what we are left with is a more solid foundation of real Bitcoin believers that will hold when things don't look so good to the rest of the world. Then it's a more gradual and healthy rise back to where the price should be and it will be more stable going forward.

That's right! Many are panic selling because of the news about China banning bitcoin and because of the herd mentality, many traders follow others in panic selling that's why a drastic price drop but then if we believe that bitcoin would be much valuable in the future then we should not panic sell. I am just guessing many of those who sold their bitcoin bought just because of FOMO and they bought above $4k that's why when the price is not in their favor, they immediately sold.

For those small investors, this would be the time to buy some coins because when the price is above $4k, you can only have small amount of coin but now you can have a slightly higher amount. Many are saying that they wish they could buy bitcoin few years ago but I think bitcoin would not go down to as low as below $1k so now would be the time to buy. This scenario is the buying point. There's no way that casual investors need to a sell-off today. Everybody if you have some funds to really buy bitcoin and then Hodl specially if you are in the long term. Those who are selling now would definitely regret their decision later. Perhaps they experience sleepless night already seeing their investment going down the drain that's why they want to exit today. But if this FUD and confusion is over, we may experience a massive bull run pushing the price to $4000+. Just HODL and buy at this point.

I wouldn't say now is the best time to buy. It certainly is a BETTER time to buy than say 1-2 weeks ago when the price was at 4900-5000. There are always good opportunities to buy, and the lower the price the better the opportunity. Whatever you can afford to lose, place into a bitcoin investment because even though the risk of your investment plummeting is high, the chance that it comes back into the positive and starts making additional profits is also sky high. Invest now for the future. Be greedy when others are fearful.

Even if it does BTC has a scarce amount and tons of people are joinging on the network everyday so just keep buying and holding for years to come.

i mostly agree with what you said and i have also plans to buy more bitcoin in this dip.
but also it is worth mentioning that the drama and FUD has not yet finished. it is better if you wait it out. it of course has slowed down a lot and the fake news is now being debunked but it still take a little more time before things come back to normal again.

but also when it comes back to normal there will NOT be enough time to buy as price shoots up at that time.

Yep it is perfect time to buy not only bitcoins but other alt coins as well. We should take advantage on the price dropping because we might get greater profit in the next couple of months. I know its risky but i am ready for it.

But how long will the price fall down? All we need is a crystal ball now to buy at the perfect level before it suddenly rises back to the top and maybe never comes back down to this level. It's easy to tell "buy low, sell high" when no one knows where exactly "low" and "high" is. But basically you cannot do much wrong when you buy now. At the end you will see profits for sure when BTC reaches new highs one day.

You can't predict what will happen in the future so don't put all your money in any single investment and that will be the very dangerous thing to do. Instead, buy with small amounts whenever prices again go down and accumulate to sell at higher price. This crypto currency markets are not regulated by any governments or institutions so anything can happen so invest carefully.

Yes every dip is a good opportunity to buy and it's good to see that people are getting smarter and making good decisions. It's only a matter of time before this issue is over for good. With or without China it's good, I am sure this buying opportunity will show a another country will come out of the shadows. I hope China sorts it's mess, it's stupidity is hurting us a lot. I still feel that this is not low enough currently. Didn't the crypto "expert" claimed that BTC will probably fall below $3000USD? Then again when news of Segwitx2 comes and and overwhelm the China FUD then the uptrend might start again.

Why is this a specific time for small investors? The fact is that anyone can invested anytime. That is the beauty of the crypto currency markets. Anyone can buy Bitcoin at any time and there's no specific time for small investor or large investor to take advantage of. Any type of investor can get profit of less Bitcoin price  and buy as much as possible.

I couldn't agree more. Sinks in prices shouldn't be a threat or a factor that triggers panic. Times like that is always an opportunity for investors that can not really afford the high prices. I personally think the best time to get into the market is when after a correction the prices stabilize before they rise again.. I wouldnt suggest anyone to buy BTC just now, rather wait until September and the critical China stuff is finally over..

Im sure many disagree with this and a lot of people I talk to are like "BUY BUY BUY, THE EARLIER THE BETTER!!!" but Ive also seen some people buying the peak at 4.8k and buying again at 4.4k and 4.2k becuse "its cheap now, BUY BUY BUY!"

So well, 3.5k$ sure seems cheap for a btc in regards to its growth over the past 4-6 weeks, but after all it may either drop to another long time low of 2,x k withhin days OR it may stabilize at ~3.8-4k until China is out.

Either way, for new investors ESPECIALLY if you want to throw in money thats not completely worthless to you.. I suggest to wait for a bit longer.. even if the opportunity looks great.. Although the Chinese government banned bitcoin still many who are not Chinese believe in it.  It is time for small investors like me to take advantage of the price.  I just bought a small amount of bitcoin and in due time I believe it will grow.  It will be a good and has a worth.

Yeah I'm already on it and pushing myself to invest more money into it. bitcoin is far beyond the realm of the "small investor". sure, you can purchase fractions of a coin, but you will make fractions of a profit. due to how high the price is, it will get more and more difficult to get significant price movements (aka volatility). i think the better bet is to look at some of the top 20 market cap coins that arent bitcoin. remember, bitcoin was worth fractions of a cent, and now we have all.. this. with the relatively low prices on all the other readily available coins (some of which have unique advantages), why cant that happen again?

China announced that by September 30, they will stop the operations and ban the bitcoin trading platforms across the country. The price of bitcoins currently are decreasing but I suggest that you wait after September 30 or by late October to fully take advantage of its impact. Even if they are considered the biggest holdings of bitcoin platforms, the key here is patience and understanding. Definitely. I don't think that Bitcoin has been and even will be this low. The recent China ban has really pushed it down and I think it has found support near and around 3500$ short term. This is significantly low from the recent all time high near $5000, and definitely a place to jump into for small investors and traders, like me. If bought now, BTC will definitely make some people profits who had missed it when it was relatively cheaper.

Actually even if you have invested bitcoin at the highest price, it does not mean you have suffered losses because bitcoin is still in growth. keep patient, the price will recover again.

It is worth buying a small amount every few weeks if you can now. Dollar cost averaging is a great strategy that taking advantage of now would give you a good few weeks of buying at lows before all the China news and shutdowns finally does out and prices start to rise again.

In forex trade, it is known as averaging and it was premised on the fact that the price of an asset never continues indefinitely in anyone direction. However the choice of values as above is faulty, they're too close, it would more or less be like buying at one and same price thrice. For an effective buying range, one has to put Bitcoin's ATR (Average  True Range) into consideration and that would ensue one would not be compelled to take more than a handful of positions before the market reverses.

If you are going to hold for the long term then it does not matter when you buy in two years bitcoin is going to be a lot more valuable than the current prices but the issue is that if you are patient you are going to be able to get a much better price and see profits earlier than if you bought at the peak of a bubble.

The market is calm down now but you are trying to say that you have to wait for some more time because the price of bitcoin can go down. Watch out for those small guys, they can hurt the markets sometimes. They often have the dreams of getting rich overnight and when the reality comes in, they bail and run. I mean if they bought $4 worth of Bitcoin, they have a current profit of what sixty cents?

For that couple dollars to make them rich, they would need a huge increase, same for $100 traders, even $500 traders.

I agree with you, all of the people do the same thing in that case. They buy at the dips and they just hold it and wait for the pump to occur and they will definitely sell their bitcoins right away. You need to act fast the forks are coming and you want to get as much bitcoin as you can before those forks happens, because then you will be able to sell those coins and get even more bitcoin for free, however if you do not want to rush it then you can take you time and learn how to trade and how to invest and you will eventually make money with those two methods.

This is one of most common mistakes that I see around the forum, people want to get the best possible price but the best possible price is the one bitcoin has right now, so unless you are a professional trader you need to stop trying to time the market and get in before bitcoin goes up again.

Try to find other ways to pay for your school, you can use your bitcoin for that of course but you are going to regret every single bitcoin you spend and that you do not hold, believe me I know while I never had a big amount of bitcoin the small amount I had was spent in useless stuff and if I had hold it I would have bigger profits than the ones I have now.

It is the good time to buy now, or maybe tomorrow, maybe the day after. Every man has its own calculations and only a few people know when the price will fall and the price will go up. I personally wouldn't buy right now cause it is too much money now, and also have the felling that I'm late. I agree. Its even projected to reach 10k this year. And if in case it comes to it that a correction happens, it probably won't be as low as 4k. Bitcoin will sustain this run up to next year and it's going to take a long time before we see the price below 5 or 6k
