Japan has finally joined the crypto-currency race by giving licence to crypto-currency exchanges but with regulations to avoid experiencing another market collapsed by the market e.g. Mt.Gox

My guess is the affected China exchange will be opening exchange in Japan.

It's actually good news when exchanges get legitimated with regulations and licenses. I don't know why so much people hate on this. If you are going to have people buying BTC using the legacy system, at least let's make it the right way so the owners of the exchanges can't scam people trying to buy BTC.

I think the next step is for China to do the same, and China will be back once again with regulated exchanges and the price will pump to $5000, but if they don't ,we don really need them, we can pump to $5000+ without chinese exchanges taking part.

I do have a strong feeling that they would really do the same path too on which they would regulate exchanges which prices would really sore up high and now Japan made the 1st move regarding on this matter and its actually a good news for those people who do really like to buy bitcoin on licensed exchanges.Security on this matter will interest many people on buying bitcoins.

I think Chinese bitcoiner will go to fight for the same thing. End of the day, if it can help boost the economy and contribute to the development of the country, there is no reason to ban it.

This is to be expected from one of top developed countries of the world. They are more advanced than some countries like China who boasts of influencing world market and bans BTC to show their power. I guess several other countries will follow its lead to secure a spot on the online currency market.
Bitcoin is known to 20% of the world so far, it will only be famed even more. With such a rising trade exchanges and websites accepting BTC, it will become the main supply of net-banking about 5 years from now.

Some good news for the bitcoin world, and especially for all the cryptocurrency world. I guess this will make bitcoin value stall a bit in it's 3000$  and not get so much devaluation afterwards. Bitcoin will always survive these critical times, because the people using it, won't let it die so soon. And I think countries are  acknowledging the fact that bitcoin might make a good  currency, will all the risks associated.

Yes. So long as the Chinese government leave the mines in peace, bitcoin should do just fine without their exchanges. Besides, a lot of people there felt the bite. Imagine the beginners who left some money in those exchanges and are now having a hard time getting em out. IMHO, other countries should follow Japan's example to make those who want to buy bitcoins can do so safely.

This is a beautiful news and I do expect bitcoin and others cryptocurrency to start recovery from the current down ward trend and bearish market we are experiencing. Japanese government license cryptocurrency will be a great leap to progress I do expect the price to go as far as $5000 this time around because around May this year this is what happened when Japan government legalized bitcoin.

Theres no doubt they would really follow this trend for sure.Who would be the next country would do this thing.This is indeed a good news because exchanges now are regulated and its good to avoid scam made by exchanges.

I expected nothing less from Japan. After its proclamation about the acceptance of Bitcoin as a mode of payment within its jurisdiction, I know that Japan will continue to embrace Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. Regardless of the issue in China, Japan can easily cover the issue. Japan just might be just like China, or even better.

though can not expect much from Japan but at least with its contribution has given a positive change to the progress of bitcoin and now the price of bitcoin is increasing

Good, this will be very effective for encouraging lawful use and operation of exchanges in Japan, will probably also restore a lot of trust in the market too, since they had to deal with the Mt.Gox fiasco and the fallout of that being within their country.

Seems like the Japanese government really wants to get the ball rolling, impressive work done by them to say the least. I don't think there is another country that has even come close to rivaling a lot of what the Japanese have been doing. Aside from maybe the Swiss.

This is a very good news for us as Japan is a very helpful country and they don't want to happen the same collapsed after Mt.Gox and this fear spread by China and Dimon. Bitcoin is seeing a good market by the Japanese and their gov't wants to take the advantage for adopting it and licensing exchanges. This is a counterpart for the move that has been done by China.

If I'm not mistaken those are only temporary bans as they plan to do the same licensing of exchanges. The good thing here, China is still planning these issuance of license and Japan didn't think about it for a long time, instead they confirmed and approved the licensure of exchanges as they don't want to contribute to the price decrease of bitcoin because they know they are also another good country that adopted bitcoin.

When china bring bad news japan gives a great news, Japan really serious to implemented bitcoin for their citizen and I am very happy to see this, with the legal exchanger open up I think the price is going to boom once again and hopefully this can encourage other country to follow Japan

Japan seems to be embracing Bitcoin exchanges while China is trying to outlaw them. I think China will probably not be successful in holding Bitcoin down. I have a feeling that their plan was to control 51% of the Bitcoins and they decided that they couldn't gain control so they want to start their own cryptocurrency and try to force Bitcoin and others to fail. I don't think it's going to work even though China is a powerful country. Bitcoin is worldwide and has grown too strong for China to be the cause of it's failure.

Japan is very clever in this regard, if they win this half, they will have a really great advantage, everyone knows what a great power like China does.

This is good news, I do not know why others do not want regulation on exchanges but I think it is necessary to prevent scams and further market manipulation. Japan is really doing good work giving license to crypto exchanges.

Japan is doing really a good job on regulating the bitcoins and approving the new bitcoin exchange for their fellow bitcoin traders. I am thinking why other countries are still getting confused on bitcoin regulations. I hope they need time to understand and then they will action for making them regulated in their country. This step has made a hope in my mind that it will not only regulate BTC in their country, but they will also help other countries to regulate and use bitcoins in their countries also. This is exactly the news that investors and followers have been waiting for. Basically what this does for BTC is that it assures people that China is not in control of EVERYTHING. That's a common misconception and I'd go as far as stating that it's also the reason why the price dipped so much.

The fact is that to date, a lot of rumor is spreading both negative and positive, regarding Bitcoin. I do not know how or whom to trust more, but I have my conviction that we will soon receive new maximum records of the price for Bitcoin. China's loss is now Japan's gain. In a few years to come, China may struggle to meet up with Japan and other countries of the world that have merged the blockchain technology into their financial sector. Japan is one of the most progressive country regarding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. Regulation will not make harm to Bitcoin, on the opposite I think it will have positive effect if it's not of restricting nature. Probably this positive decisions in Japan also affected the Bitcoin price in positive way and helped with recovering.

Its actually a good thing that one country is bold enough to have come out to partially fill the shoe that the Chinese exit is going to create in the market. Certainly a positive and welcomed news from Japan.  Its early days still, but i think its fair to say Bitcoin withstood the Chinese backward looking step.  The news from Japan whilst it doesn't fully fill the void left by the Chinese market, it is a vote of support and confidence in Bitcoin which will hopefully help to calm the speculation a little further and long may the rate of Bitcoin continue to rise.   I think Bitcoin will continue to rise, irrespective of actions taken by individual states/governments, yes it might stutter slightly but it will weather the storm and rise again.

I think it's good news better if china is rare japan. then the bitcoin price will probably rise again more than before. China is very influential on bitcoin prices because China is a country with a strong economy.

Japan, as far as I know, is the very rich country they and they are very updated in new technology that's why they are many products, gadgets that they are importing to another country. Great News indeed, unlike China who is known for bullying other technologies that threatens their Monetary Rules. Indeed relaxing to hear this. Because after a week of insane price drop, maybe we could now projectile high price increase as one country now made big headlines about btc. I would say that when one door closed a new window of opportunity would be opening. And this is quite true with what happened recently in China where Bitcoin exchanges in all forms were told to stop doing business which influence the Bitcoin market to go down. I hope our country will implement the same, it is better those exchanges will be regulated and be licensed to protect its client from abused and scammed. It prostrating that my country hasn't done anything relevant or related to bitcoin even though it is not illegal here. Japan was never the issue nor any other country never had problems with btc it is just the stupid china. Japan was the first ever country to regulate btc throughout there economy and more than 100k stores currently accept btc in japan. Giving regulations to exchanges might just be an answer to China's ban. Also japan had 50% of the world trading volume so china doesn't matter anymore.

Japan always amazes me with anything when we're talking about technology. They adapted bitcoin faster than any country or state in the world. They supported bitcoin not because they gained much out of it but the Blockchain technology is worth the time for them. Satoshi Nakamoto might know this that is why he named himself in a Japanese common name for the future of bitcoin be much brighter on that part of this world.

This will definitely boost the bitcoin and other altcoin market and the price is now set to move towards 4500$ mark. I hope our country who is currently looking and finalizing if this should be legalized or ban will have a look from Japan and will legalized it firstly and then the exchanges as well. So far, Japan has known to be very open and Bitcoin friendly. They have done efforts to adopt Bitcoin and cryptocurrency thus having a very healthy Bitcoin environment in their country. The news could possibly be part of it but looking at the date this news came on board, I doubt if the impact was that much on the value of bitcoin. The main reason as we all know now is due to the upcoming fork and the fact that people want to gain from it. However, with so many legalization coming up in the future, the strength of bitcoin keeps getting better, that is for sure.

Where did you see that China has put a lock on crypto? I am not a supporter of legalization and I am sure that every step of bitcoin to legalization is removing him from his destiny. As what I have expected that Japan will be the first  country to legalize bitcoin because the inventor is also Japanese.  This is a great start and soon enough  more country  will join this act and it is not impossible  that someday bitcoin will be accepted  worldwide and  by that time,bitcoin's price will really,  really  soar high. Patiently waiting here!
