I would say at December we'll be above $4000. I'm still expecting a bit more of a dip as China gacve their exchanges a month to cease trading so think some will leave it late to sell up etc. After that ... Hopefully to the MOOOOON

Ofcourse.. Disable china market doesn't mean all the chinese who "play" bitcoins can't trade in another market..
They moved to another market and the price will be high again or more.

I think by December it will reach more than 5k USD as the bitcoin has recovered already from its fall and continue to grow faster.
Even without China I am sure that it will still continue to grow its value

There is the hard fork that will be coming in November. It wouldn't surprise me if Bitcoin jumped up the same way it did in August. I don't think the whole situation with China is exactly settled either. I think $5000ish is reasonable be December though.

Chinese government can't control 100% Chinese, in particular, those with substantial capitals in BVI  ;D
They are only trying a PR action before the Communist Party in October. After that, I expect that crypto ban will be withdrawn (as well as some bans to invest in soccer and real estate abroad)

We can really never know until we had reach the month of November because we can surely see another Fork on that month but I am hoping we can see the value stepping to the $5000 mark value, we are nearing back then at almost $3900 mark value, then china have a negative move on their market with bitcoin then boom they blow the price to bits, but I think even without china there is a possibility that we can still get negative news regarding the value, there are a ton of a possibility it can happen, but Hope it will not and we can see the value really rise up to the moon.

This is the main reason why bitcon is so strong even without china's help. So buy while price is on 3000ish, because if the price hit the 4000 again it will be difficult to dump again since bitcoin is keeping strong and stronger nowadays. Japan will be the next big supporter of bitcoin ;D

actually with bitcoin standard it is a slow recovery! every since 15th the price is barely reaching $4000 now after 3 days. the fast recovery would have been $4500 2 days ago. :)

China didn't go anywhere. Chinese are buying bitcoin more than past. the price was low enough for them to buy even more at a much bigger profit!

No one's going to be paying attention to Chinese prices from now on. They're doomed and they're irrelevant to the rest of the world. It'll be the same as pricing on Mt Gox as it was dying. That was hundreds of dollars below the functioning exchanges.

I think the price of bitcoin will become above 5,000 USD in the future because of the demand that is coming back and the market of bitcoin is getting stronger again with new strong holders because they know the importance of holding bitcoin and not like those people who panic sell and just sold their bitcoin even at a lower price.

I think the price will be above 5000 USD  by the end of Dec , but if China is back into the market by the end of Dec then it will rise about 6000 USD.

I can hardly predict bitcoin price in some month because atm I don't see any upcoming serious events (like SegWit some time ago) that will influence the BTC price. Don't think that it is possible to predict the accurate price without any "milestones" (but will apreciate if you name some of them).

soon we will have a big rise because of this down trend made a lot of people richer and they would want to buy bitcoin with their profit.
but soon after that we will have another drama called SegWit2x! then there is a possibility of another down trend. hopefully this will be after $5000 is broken.

i hope so and I am also expecting a $5,000 value per bitcoin before the year ends. Though China is closing down exchanges which can affect bitcoin demands,I think  still bitcoin will grow because demand are increasing day after day.

I think the estimated increase in bitcoin prices will increase because there are some major
states that bitkoin is not a legitimate currency in the country but the bitkoin community
denied bitkoin is not a sphere but a virtual item that can be used as an asset to invest

I voted above $8k but I realize that would be wishful thinking. Getting back to $5k is far more realistic.

I do think the market will be far more stable with China out of the picture though. They have one of the more repressive governments in the world, so I don't think any more countries will follow suit. Not to mention we survived the downfall of one of the biggest markets. I'm ecstatic!

I would choose the $ 10,000 price because without the Chinese market it would surely be a slower but steady price increase for a long time. I think if it does not happen this year it will probably happen in 2018.

We still have some events between then and now, like Black Friday. Some people hoard some bitcoins and then buy shit on

Black Friday. We also have Xmas shopping in December. Most of these coins are immediately converted to Fiat by the

payment processors and end up at exchanges. This will lead to a over supply on exchanges and a drop in the price.  ::)

My guess... $4500 to $4800 by the end of September and then about $5000+ until November and then a drop to $4500

Let us all be realistic, first $10k above I think is so much. Since we have just reached its highest record which is $5k, I think $5k above is just the highest. And let us all take consideration on incoming events like the incoming fork, and also the Christmas and New Year days. Oversupply will come because "most" of the ordinary users will be needing some money and we will exchange their coins for fiat. So that would be an another wall for breaking above $6k.

I do not agree to this because China is certainly a major player in btc market and their decision just not restrict to China itself it has multiples effect on other countries too. Even they would like to consider their decision if some major counties take a negtive stand. So certainly impact will be a long lasting and not for small er period.

this is not the first country to take a weird stance towards bitcoin. and this is not even the first time that FUD about China banning bitcoin has come out. other countries don't really care about what China does. they make their own decisions. otherwise all other countries would have adopted bitcoin when Japan did! you see it goes both ways.

I agree what you are saying but especially not all countries are self sufficient in such spaces where they can lead this . Think from a perspective of a small couturiers in the world they would generally be taking the steps as this big major players in the market do it. Somewhere I think it will have a negative impact unless and until we have many countries who have legalized the bitcoin and ave a mass adoption . This will result in spread of the bitcoin among various countries and not only handful will be a major players in bitcoin world.

Bitcoin is always moon. China cannot ban bitcoin all over the world.We know that maximum bitcoin use in china so China ban ico Bitcoin face small panic .As a result a bitcoin down on 3000$ .After few hour bitcoin rise again and its hit up 4100$.So if china want to ban bitcoin they never do this.

I'm happy to see recovering fast but i don't think China is going anywhere. China just aims to regulate market and kick out scammers. I think it's better now.

Recently, bitcoin demonstrates the possibility of its development and without China. Now the rate of bitcoin is 4 004 dollars. It can be assumed that bitcoin will not drop more, and the path for its growth is open.

Here i don't think that we can ignore china because  most of the mining.pool have the contribution from the china i.e 8.1% , so here you can understand well that how the market can get impact much .
If anything will again happen then market will not only crash by the stop mining by the china miners but also the demand will get down , so overall we will see a big crash for one month ( if happen wrong/decision against the cryptocurrency ) .
So here we should remain ready for anytime to face crash after 20-25 days .
Here we can take and example of the one of the state of Russia who was banned to use bitcoin and we seen the fluctuations of 20%+ for 20 days , so here we can expect that what may be happen if the same thing happen .
Well here the example of the Japan like countries to accept Bitcoin as the investment will force the china to not take action against the bitcoin and cryptocurrency and ICOs like system because people are making profit and also paying tax for earnings .

Somehow I believe in that. However, I don't hold any hard feeling for the Chinese people but to the Chinese government. Chinese government is very adamant since last few years. They are trying to create issue with India over borders, they are trying to show their military prowess over Vietnam and Philippines  for trespassing their sea borders. However, they must remember that every good thing has an end.

Chinese government wants their citizens to be dependent on them only and no one else. They are trying to maintain the control over their citizens by not allowing them to earn money from outside sources. These kind of activities are having a big impact on the price and market cap because a lot of people from China use bitcoin. If they are completely shut off the bitcoin market, the market will be down initially, but once it starts to recover, there will be no growth limit.

I think you have a point because before if you remember there is a post here in forum that china was trying to centralized bitcoin in their country but they are failed to do this they wanted to control people and also control the price of bitcoin before.
And honestly every activity in china i don't like their laws..  
If china was 1 of the big investment  why the price still in the good price and i think there are china people are still holding their bitcoin and they are against the regulation of china and they don't wanted to sell their investment and i think they can be still go  to outside to withdraw their bitcoin that's why the price of bitcoin are still in good price..
If there is no china honestly bitcoin will never be affected and can hit bitcoin around $5k  to $6k value..

I like the optimism, and i think that bitcoin will reach over 5k until the end of the year. the thing that comes to my mind is what will happen when and if China will be back in a few months? Will the price go to the moone when the chinese join the fun again?

They already started a war against bitcoin so I don't know if they are going back in a few months. And even if local exchanges comes back as well, I seriously doubt that it can push the price further. We should enjoy our journey without mentioning China. I think we have proven it already as we have recovered from the crash we saw two weeks ago because of the negative news coming from them. With that said, a price of 5000$ is possible for me it can be touch once again as we move closer to the end of the year.

bitcoin can not be banned by any country, if a country try to ban bitcoin then a black market is going to appear and the price  will go up, belive me no one can control the market and the banks are really scared about bitcoin.  the bitcoin war started a long time ago and im not worry about it.

those event in china actually felt by bitcoin last few days but we see it is now going up again, I read some articles regarding the shutting down of trading of cryptos in china but actually traders and businessmen have a back up plan in case the Chinese government will force to shutdown the trading of digital currencies, so I guess 5k$ to 6k$ atleast would be the value of bitcoin at the end of this year.

The btc market and the user system are expanding, so I do not think China can make the whole market crash. As we see btc is recovering quickly. When the market stabilizes, I think btc prices will continue to grow and may be more stable without being affected by factors like China.

China is a big nation with big population, A great percentage from them may help a lot for the growth of any crypto. China is one of the main players but it is not the only one. If it stopped playing, others will just continue to play without them. The price increased without them so think what if they come back, the price will surely soar up. Regarding the speculation by December, it is quite difficult since there's still months before that and the alleged possible hard fork in November.

If China repeals their ban, and activity spikes again in their country, the prices of BTC and amount of trading will skyrocket and lead bitcoin prices much higher! However, if the ban stays in place for quite a while, then I think BTC pricing will rise at a more moderate pace without an initial big jump.

I would rather China still stays in the bitcoin, because it will increase more volatility in this market!!

Yeah this is the real result that we seen from the pending decision from the china government and i think they are taking time for the final result because they want give some better descion that will be in the favour of the bitcoin .

I'm not so sure. The majority of people who have bitcoins to use them for savings and investment. This leads to the fact that they pumped up the price and make themselves a bitcoin bubble. Every time the price drops they panic because they are afraid to lose everything and don't trust bitcoin.

Yes, many bads rumors from China are just making down the bitcoin's price but does not mean it will kill the bitcoin, if the Chinese government is really want ban user of bitcoin on there, they must ban the internet connection too, it is something impossible to be done by the Chinese government, i saw all of the bads news from China are just making bitcoin's price down, and in my bad thinking they buy bitcoin with large of money.

I thought about it from the beginning and therefore didn't sell any coins. Only this has reinforced my conviction that the need to concurrently earn Fiat. Then we can calmly wait until the price will go up and all attempts of speculators to destabilize the market will have success.

It's buying time again of bitcoin now before it goes to the moon

For a year Ive been with bitcoins I had already see sudden pump and sudden dump as well. In my observation btc pump so fast even after really deep dump just after a week or two. Im not sure if the China issue and some tweets from known people lately is the reason on dump happen few weeks ago unyil now but I still beleive in btc and hope it would recover soon.

This news was enough to have a opposing effect to the Chinese closure on exchanges at the end of the month and Dimon's latest attack. So we are still on the road to recovery but we are going in the right direction. We just have to remain positive in order for us not to be stress with the price fluctuations and perhaps we may see around $5000-$7000 at the end of the month.

A very poorly made vote i actually see that bitcoin needs to drop to 2k before this year's end just to fix its loose ends and you can't quitely predict bitcoin price on a 24h sample the real sample that should be taken into consideration is every 125 days.

Despite the uncertainty in the Chinese bitcoin market, bitcoin had came to a stable position now, the price has recovered slowly and attained $3800 mark. Today Bitcoin analysts has emphasized a short term price target of $6000, so most probably we can expect $5000 by the end of this year.

I am not commenting on where the price is going to go - but one thing that is positive is that all of the recent big news should be priced into the market at this point. There were declines, but recoveries, and it never went horribly low. It is good to see bitcoin's resiliency in this.

If Bitcoin want to keeps its value at $5,000 in few months, it need to creates a strong support price first. As before it breakout $3,000 and increases to $4,000 it has a strong support around $2,500 - 2,700 price range.

many regret not buying bitcoin on yesterday's decline. I think so, many people are hesitant to buy. but now the bitcoin is expensive again. this benefits me personally. and china is just a story of the past that we have forgotten.

It is not that easy to predict the market after a good one year where we saw the price climb many thousand dollars,with all the regulation news coming out i doubt we will see any rapid growth in price by the end of this year but we will see some recover in price and will be above four thousand by the end of this year until everything is sorted out.

The dip was way overly drastic because every day trader and their dog was shorting bitcoins and selling like mad. It's a snowball affect and it triggers stop losses galore.

The thing is that China or no China, a single country cannot just have a huge effect on bitcoin in the long run. Most Chinese traders are gradually shifting to Japanese market since it has become more favourable and before we see soon, support will strike back. Though, we cannot really know now how quick the rapid trip to the moon will be which will absolutely depend on the market movement as time goes on. All I am sure of now is we are most definitely getting past $4000 but one thing with bitcoin so far is that when it is ready to break out, it does it in a very bullish way, so possibility of $5000 looks bright.

I think China is still an important country for Bitcoin because of the volume which they do as of now we do no have any other country to match other than US and Japan . So out of 3 countries of 1 goes away then the selling pressure will be more and prices will certainly drop to some extent which is not a good thing for the market .

Charlie Shrem, a bitcoin pioneer and the head of business development at popular cryptocurrency wallet platform operator Jaxx, stated that China has no real effect on the future of bitcoin.

Shrem wrote:

I completely perfectly agree with your ideas. Chinese bitcoin traders must play in another bitcoin market and as a result of this, other trading areas are now more powerful and more money-maker than chinese ones.

It is the ancient saying that if one door closes another one has to open and as china is gone Japan,Korea and India has joined the trade and the many other ways to earn and trade so china doesn’t matter now he will suffer his decision and will come back again this is just a motive to take bitcoin down but it is not so easy.

If China was aiming at this and this is the reason they banned some ICOs and exchanges, then I think we should support them. Anyhow the best thing is that bitcoins are recovering their prices and are more likely to be at 5k dollars or more by the end of this year. I am happy for holding my bitcoins in the last weeks.

its really not anymore with china its the support that bitcoin lovers are showing now, despite of this corrections that happen from two previous week
glad we are now seeing 4k mark again and if this will hold before this month end we will see some good position again coming oct.

As we see that the world market is holding by mostly Chinese products and how it is possible that if want to buy Chinese product and will pay in bitcoin if they have nothing to do with bitcoin. It is a serious case and we should think about it. I think that China has great effect on bitcoin, not only mining but also in the big markets throughout the world. What will we do if China regrets bitcoin?

For last few weeks, bitcoin has been going through real hard times but I am happy that there are still a huge number of people who are investing in bitcoins and didn't sell out their asset during the fall down. They will be earning ample profits before December and my guess is BTCs will touch 6k dollars before last month of this year.
