dear friends.im new to this field .today i bought small amount of btc (as my first time i bought o.o126 btc).i hope to invest this by buying alt coins with in next 24 h.what should i buy..what is best alt coin to buy with in next 24 h?

i think btc will be a good choice at any time, but you should be careful to choose altcoins, also, the top 20 should be in your buying list, and no matter how, you should do your own research

It's ultimately your money so you need to research which coins interest you and the one's that you feel have potential. Other people can recommend some but you have to pull the trigger.

I just see this day there is a rumour about the next bitcoin fork at the middle of october which will be issued the bitcoin gold. That just like a bitcoin cash, but top 50 should be considered as the best choice because that was easy to predict the way of the chart.

GBG and GUP are the two coins which have less volume and have not been pumped since we saw reds after the pump wave that took place between March and August. These two have since been struggling and staying calm, there seems like a storm is being prepared to badly push it upwards and both have the potential to make 2-3x gains in mean time. Don't get into coins that are pumped already, buy those which have not even shook for months because they need less volume to pump higher.

 According to my knowledge about trading  in an different currencies .  Or buying  a digutal currency which is your plan to  invest or trade in the future you must buy a low price instead of high price .that price is to high 0.0126btc for a beginner . .will 0.001 is much better  for beginner . .will it is your decision. .i want to suggest to hold your btc instead of eagerly sell  . .and wait for the right time to sell which is the high price than you bought.  Regards

Populous already made 30x after its pre ico and they didn't create a public ico. I would't go for it. The rest is promising, actually BAT and OMG ones looking good for investment.

there's a lots of things that you need to consider mate, are you a long term holder or you want a quick profits? if you are a long holder better  to look for quality coins that have good volume like eth and waves but if you are just looking for quick gains find moving or pumping coin and ride just be careful and analyze well.

The best tip is go to coinmarketcap.com then choose altcoin with a huge negative percentage gain. Choose only on the coin listed on top 100. You click also button for "volume 24hrs" to sort it out.

My advice is to buy ICN and ETT. They are currently in dip but soon will pump due to upcoming upgrade.

I like Neo - it's been on a tear the past two or three days.

well it depends on which exchange you are trading on. But hot for me right now is LiSK, BAT,CTR, LUN, GBYTE. reason being lisk is on the rise all week and the other 4 are all undervalued right now especially BAT which has the creator of javascript and founder of mozilla firefox as it's team.

In my research good coin to buy now is WAVES,LTC and QTUM, because these altcoin now on oversold price and the fundamental of these coin is good. Good luck.

It depends on how long you are planning on to hold the coin. According to me DGB should be a good coin to invest in right now as it is already at a lower price and apart from that I just read a thread where they told that a new DGB website based on blockchain is being released on OCT 1. I feel like bitcoin and ethereum are the best investments for short time this month. All altcoins seem weak. If you buy altcoin you may become bagholder quite easily and noone wants to wait just to avoid losses.

It would be best if Ethereum alone because bitcoin has soared higher than ethereum and let's make way for ethereum as a potential altcoin that will definitely be levelling up with bitcoin someday. I can see how ethereum builds up their value with the help with other traders and investors just like my co-member did when he invested such amount and he got a higher value when it pumps higher. investing in ico also gives you the possibility of multiple profits because you bought the coin before that coin entering the exchange / market (but it also has risks)

MDA is on my buying list which hit on Binance today, and now price is only 4× to the ico price, the more important, its market cap is still very low which means it has a great potential

Waves and DGB are the best altcoins to buy at a moment as price is not too high and if you invest in it now then you can expect some profits in next couple of months.

I would definitely go for ETH if we are speaking for long term and specially on bitcoin wont really be remove on my list since this thing would be always to save up on my wallet.For BCH i dont see any hopes for this for long term since this coin would be only good for short term.

look at eBTC or LINK. eBTC is a huge gamble (they had an airdrop, which i missed). Chainlink looks promising you can invest before the SIBOS conference on the 16.October in the hopes that the conference rocks or buy afterwards when the price drops, the project seems solid.

With altcoins you can try play little safer and try to look long time invests, or take a leap with promising new coins and prepare to either lose everything or get nice profit :D This is nothing new, but for me there´s always been some basics, ripple, blackcoin, ETC -- and taking leaps only with profits that im ready to lose :)

In altcoins, I also see ethereum having the most potential of surviving and multiplying in the future. It has been number one altcoin for a long period now, that means it has something in it which dominates others. I have heard majority saying that it is going to touch 1k dollars before the beginning of 2018 and honestly speaking, I have same expectations from it.

Investors, who buy Ethereum now may start selling when the price reaches $700 in order to gain some quick profits, cause Ethereum appears to have the longevity necessary for long term investment.

Yep, as for me Confideal is one of the most successful projects in the last half a year.

I would say NEO. Cause of the smart contract platform they have (just like ethereum). The first ICO of Red Pulse went besides small hickups very well. So there will be much more projects launch their ICO on the NEO platform in future. So I think it's a good thing to have some NEO in your portfolio.

first i would recommend to think of diversifying your portfolio.
Then i would do research on certain altcoins and decide whether i think they have good potential or not. This means visiting their website, reading the whitepaper and do some research of the team.
When you found some currencies in which you trust then i would take a look at the chart and do some technical analysis. But when the conditions are right i would buy some positions.
Some altcoins in which i'm invested are ethereum, monero, omiseGo, nem and neo.

The best thing you should do is do some research on coinmarketcap.com on the coins listed there so you also get an idea what and how many altcoins are there. Then do some thorough research on the top coins listed there and thrn decide which one you would want to invest in.

In my opinion you should buy DeepOnion. The dev team launched DeepVault some days ago. This is a new blockchain technology and I think it will be very usefull. They are working in others new features like DeepSend so that´s why I believe this coin has a huge potential to grow.

A bit dull goofy position. Lots of "clever" projects get audience having no product at all. Due to that fact ICO can be banned. Not too good prospects.

In my opinion,  I think that it would have been wise if you would have bought yourself some komodo since its quite affordable, adding to the fact that you have less than 0.02 btc to spend. Komodo is a great coin which has huge potential and great technology, and its further a platform. I see this coin going big within a few years.

Man, those picks like ETC, BTS are pretty funny. I was also holding some BTS and sold it just before delisting from Bittrex, and I'm not going to buy back.

Omisego and litcoin both are good options but monero and etheruem are more promising in giving profits than any other altcoin. You must need to look at the future value rather profits that each coin can give. Only the present price does not really matter. Moreover, it is important to understand that some altcoins can die also in future. It may seem that they will increase in near future but surviving digital market is a difficult task.

my pick would be to buy adex on the dips, prototype coming this month. Can cause a great spike.

I recommend to go for the promising one. Maybe it will look expensive at first sight so go and check the price of BTC, afterwards all altcoins will look very cheap. In altcoins, my first recommendation will be none other than ethereum and the reasons are very obvious. It is at the top, has good community support and produces more profits than any other altcoin. After that, monero,waves, LTC, neo, etc, ripple all show some potential of growing.

The price of altcoins is falling down on the wave of coming fork, so it is the best time to invest in altcoins, but I suppose prices will fall a little bit more during those last days before the fork. Asking for anyone to help you finding an altcoin to invest or buy isn't a good idea. If I were you im going to buy a ethereum or a litecoin. Since now altcoin is falling down because of the last hardfork happen. It is the right time to hold different kind of altcoin. But make sure choose the best among them. Bacause when altcoin regain their value im sure you will here a great profit.

Hi, and congratulations on your first BTC purchase. We'd love to see more people going through this experience as it will increase the utility of the various platforms that are based on Blockchain technology. A suggestion from my side, would be that you shouldn't set a deadline to yourself for buying anything. You've mentioned that you want to buy an Altcoin in the next 24 hours - why the rush? There might not be a good option currently within the next 24 hours, does that means you're going to invest anyway and potentially risk losing your stack? What you should do is research various ICO's that will be launched in the next weeks/months and make sure that you'll join their ICO (inititial coin offering), most of the highest returns are made from these ICO's and if you're good at evaluating a descent project, you'll have a great chance of making a lot more than your curren t 0.0124 BTC stack. Just scan for good ideas and invest a portion of that 0.0124 (maybe 20%) into an ICO - do the same for four other ICO's. Try to look at the long term and try to stick to a good project once you've found it (don't sell early).

as per my research, dont rush and invest. keep eye on the market. do your own research. whats the project, who are the developers, road map, expectation and etc.

then come your conclution. dont get coins due to others solely recommendations. i will say coins but you research about it.

I agree with you I personally prefer these two currencies for investment in the current time and that’s why I will invest in the bitcoin. People like to do investment and in the short run our investment bring a profit for us sometimes when we want to invest suddenly some issue arise and we just do fear after that and they just not avail the benefit from money.

I prefer ark, qtum, eth and ltc. At this time all alts are low. But they could go lower so be careful. Alway buy more than one alt.

Many coins have the potential to rise and some of them are ETH, LTC, DASH and STRAT. And now it's a good timing and opportunity to buy a coin because most of the price is low. And the reported Hard Fork to come, will definitely altcoin price increase. All you need to do is firstly learn, analyze and make strategy before investing in trading. 

Great tips and yes this is correct, altcoins now are dumping again and are best to buy these coins now because of its very low price. And yes there is another fork on November. But learning is also and experience, if you learn how to trade then you would basically know which altcoin to buy during times like these. Don't always rely on what others have to say because some would just hype you on which coin to buy and you'll regret it after.
