Title: [ANN] [NO ICO] Monero Lite (XMRL) - Anonymous Transactions, Secure and Fast.
Post by: monero-lite on October 10, 2017, 08:26:40 PM
Welcome to Monero Lite

New Crypto-Currency with anonymous transactions, secure and fast.

Alternative to Monero? Maybe (we do not have this pretencion), but a decentralized network with Big Blockchain ambitions: Yes, why not?

We are Monero Lite, a new crypto-currency that will not revolutionize, but bring more anonymity, security and fast transactions, all in a decentralized network without any owners, without governments dictating rules, much less abusive fees, the best part, everyone can join us, we are a Team.

Features:
  • Untraceable Payments
  • Fully Decentralized
  • Unlinkable transactions
  • Algorithm CryptoNight
  • No Pre-Mining

Monero Lite Specification:
  • Abbreviation: XMRL
  • PoW algorithm: CryptoNight
  • Max Supply: 4,752,000 coins
  • Difficulty Target: 60 Seconds
  • Fee:0.001
  • P2P Port: 17000
  • RPC Port: 17001

What is CryptoNight?
CryptoNote is the technology that allows creation of privacy-centric cryptocurrencies. You can visit their website here. The level of anonymity provided by CryptoNote isn't possible with Bitcoin code base by design. Bytecoin (BCN) was the CryptoNote reference implementation.

Two of the main features of CryptoNote are ring signatures that mask sender identities by mixing and one-time keys that make transactions unlinkable. Their combined effect gives a high degree of anonymity without any extra effort on the part of the user.

Unlike Bitcoin, your funds are not held in the address you give out to others. Instead, every time you receive a payment it goes to an unlinkable address generated with random numbers. When you decide to spend the funds in that one-time address, the amount will be broken down and the components will be indistinguishable from identical outputs in the blockchain.

For example if 556.44 XMRL are sent, the protocol will break it down into 500 + 50 + 6 + 0.4 + 0.04 and a ring signature will be performed with other 500's, 50's, 6's, 0.4's, and 0.04's in the blockchain. Unlike the "CoinJoin" mixing method, CryptoNote mixes outputs not transactions. This means no other senders need to be participating with you at the same time or with the same amounts. Any arbitrary amount sent at any time can always be rendered fundamentally indistinguishable (a mathematical proof is given in the white paper).

The degree of anonymity is also a choice rather than decided by the protocol: do you want to be hidden as one among five or one among fifty? The size of the signature grows linearly as O(n+1) with the ambiguity so greater anonymity is paid for with higher fees to miners.

I think that this new technology will find use in the foreseeable future. When states want to control the actions of citizens, to prohibit working with crypto-currencies, so that the elected can do it. Anonymity of payments will be in demand.

Do not support this.

1) Ripping off someone's idea is bad form. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2237716.0 is the original idea, and it has no pre-mine of any kind.  He has copied this almost word for word.
2) This is a seedy way to do an ICO, especially when he wrote "No ICO".  If you support this, this model will grow as more cash-grabbers with no dev ability make clones and offer paid pre-mines.

A cash-grab dev without original ideas is not going to support you long term

EDIT: It's the same dev so the idea is not a rip-off, but that's almost worse.  Dev smelled cash and went for it.

Oh so it's the old project converted into a scammy cash-grab?  Damn that's too bad.

I withdraw that the dev has ripped off someone's idea.  I give dev full credit for the idea.

I also give dev full credit for being two-faced about pre-mine and ICO.  Not someone I would trust with my coin or hash.

Basically there is a pre-mine. You just have to pay so you can access it, what a sham.

No, this is not a scam, pre-mining is when dev extracts a genesis block containing millions of coins, this was not done in this project, it does not have pre-mining.

The campaign is to raise funds to list Monero Lite in an exchange, exchanges only agree to list a new crypto-currency if it pays.

The campaign will also to keep the project alive ,as there is no pre-mining.

We can delay in replying to all via PM, due to high demand (thanks all), and also because the Monero Lite account in the forum is new, has certain limitations, so if we delay responding is because we are responding to all by order of receipt.

currently the reward for finding a block is 0.141600 XMRL.

the tendency is that it is more difficult to find a block if compared to Monero, so we are confident that it can be worth more than the monero itself, obviously if there is a public adherence to the project.

The big problem with the new crypto-currencies is that they start without a fund to list in an exchange, so the vast majority die in a short time, we are campaigning to raise funds to list XMRL in one or several exchanges, and also to maintain the project.

It does not have pre-mining with block extraction genesis, the term pre-mining in blockchain is used when the dev uses block genesis extraction to mine millions of coins, it seems that few know this, when a dev does this, it holds mining for himself to mine the genesis block, this was not done in this project, we have a clean purpose and no frauds or mistakes.

maybe you feel wronged for not being able to mining now, but this is for the good of the project, we have to raise funds to list XMRL in the future in one or several exchanges, since the exchanges only accept listing a crypto-currency with a payment of a large amount ...

the tendency is that it is more difficult to find a block if compared to Monero, so we are confident that it can be worth more than the monero itself, obviously if there is a public adherence to the project.

Here are the problems.  I'm trying to give you honest feedback, not FUD.  This is why you feel like a bad project:

1) You admit to a 4000+ block pre-mine, but you insist on leaving "No Pre-Mining" in your ANN.  This is dishonest.  What does it matter whether you got the coins from the genesis block or from mining yourself? Does that affect the economics of the coin AT ALL?  No.

2) You claim "No ICO", but you are collecting money in return for early access to coins.  Even if the early access is mining-based, not a token distribution, this is still an ICO.  Does the fact that you are selling rights to mine instead of coins themselves affect the economics AT ALL?  no.

3) You keep treating the number of coins as a relevant unit of measure.  The number of coins does not define the value of a project.  If you think less coins = more value, why not just make a project with one coin?  Then as long as you have $90 invested, boom, you are priced higher than Monero.  The reason this is stupid is that value is defined by MARKET CAP, not PRICE.  So you can make your block reward as small as you want, but your PROJECT is what needs high value, not individual coins.  You seem to fail to understand this with your pre-mine too.  The level of pre-mine is defined by how many blocks it is, not how many coins it is.  Otherwise, you could make the block reward 0.00000001, pre-mine 100 MILLION blocks, and then say "we only pre-mined one coin".  Do you see how stupid it is to think in terms of # of coins, and not in terms of # of blocks and total supply?

Edit: In fact, you said it's harder to find a block than in Monero.  So you have pre-mined over 4000 of something that will be very hard for others to catch up to.

I already answered explaining the term pre-mining (look at the answers in this topic)

It is not an ICO, we are not selling currencies, but we are providing mining only to whoever finances the project (consider financing, or donating).

What I have said about the value of the currency, is an example, do not take it as something real, but yes, it may occur, it is recognized that coins with few units have higher appreciation, Monero Lite has an emission rate of 25, supply and demand can either value or devalue a crypto-currency, the less it has in the market and there is more demand, it will appreciate, a clear example of this was Zcash at the beginning.

Note that people may be suspicious of the project, it is normal because there are hundreds of new crypto-currencies and there have been many scams (eg adamcoin), but this project is different, we do not have pre-mining (block genesis extraction with millions of coins) , we are handing out the portfolios to those who are participating in the Antecipate Mining Campaign.

Yes, it is fully compatible with GPU Rigs.

Do not consider a pre-mining, the campaign is made to fund the project, this because the exchanges require a cash amount to list new crypto-currencies, so the devs decided in group to open this campaign to raise funds to later pay an exchange to list XMRL.

Thanks  ;).

It has been explained here why the campaign.

It is not ICO because we are not selling coins, the campaign is for fundraising for the project, later we will use to pay an exchange to list XMRL.

Do you really think I'm after money? at the moment am I spending more money than earning, or do you think it is simple to develop and compile a new crypto-currency? compile wallets? to develop a website? list it on an exchange? convenser daily new people to join us? definitely this branch is not for easy money as some think  ;).

Now the reward is 0.1426 XMRL per block... 1 minute, If the reward is unchanging:

0.1426 * 60 * 24 * 365 = this is only 74.950 XMRL the first year... but the max supply is 4,752,000

I miss something?

Can someone enlightenment me if I am missing something!!

I used the earnings calculator on the pool

http://xmrl.pool.nowss.org

I have checked when no miners were connected, it said I can earn 90,000 coins per day with my 4kh/s mining hash rate.

I was probably the 1st or 2 miner connected, then it was saying something around 85,000. No one connected for about 45 minutes, then another miner connected the profitability has gone down to 70,000 something.

I went to bed and I woke up after 7 hours of mining I see is 8 miners connected total hash rate is 120kh/s or something.

The best part is I have mined only 68 coins for 7 hours!!!!!!!

From the prediction and my calculation when it said 90,000 coins per day, I should have at least (90,000/24) got around 2500 with my hash rate for 50 mins of solo mining (no miner connected except me). But why I am only seeing just 68 coins only mined for my address.

Can someone please explain if my assumptions are wrong or I got scammed.

Participating in the campaign, you will do the mining with moderate difficulty and you will get some coins easily, without the campaign, the mining difficulty will be high and you will be slow to get a coin, so it is good to participate in the campaign, doing this you will be helping XMRL to be listed in a future exchange.

We can not give you an estimate, but you take as a basis the calculations of the mining power that is available in the mining pool.

remembering that as the difficulty increases, but it will be difficult to mine a coin (but not impossible), but it is still good for mining, the difficulty is low to moderate, when mining is open to all, the difficulty will rise abruptly.

but yes, what was said by the other member is correct, it is 90 coins instead of 90,000

Respect this, if you do not want to participate in the campaign, wait until October 24.

Study more about blockchain, the term pre-mining is when a dev builds and compiles a crypto-coin with a bounty of block genesis, in this block genesis contains millions of coins and only dev does the mining until this block is mined, while the dev holds the wallets and daemon so that only he does the mining, but I repeat, we did not do this for the Monero Lite, this project has 0% pre-mining.

who is successfully mining with ccminer? i have been trying unsuccessfully for a few days. i can mine other coins with ccminer just fine, but cannot connect to pool to mine this. sent dev eth for the info to mine, but it doesn't work and not much help to get it going has been offered. dev says it must be my miner or my internet, but i don't see how that can be as it works perfectly with other currencies. just curious if other people have got it working, what they had to do differently than they do when mining other currencies with ccminer.

It's not a mistake in the wallet address, so we did some testing and we were able to do the mining with the wallet address we provided you.

No other miner is having trouble doing mining, this problem is only with you, so I mentioned that there must be some configuration on your pc, I already had the same problem as you (another coin), I changed the mining software and everything went well , this with AMD GPU, I have never worked with Nvidia GPU.

who is successfully mining with ccminer? i have been trying unsuccessfully for a few days. i can mine other coins with ccminer just fine, but cannot connect to pool to mine this. sent dev eth for the info to mine, but it doesn't work and not much help to get it going has been offered. dev says it must be my miner or my internet, but i don't see how that can be as it works perfectly with other currencies. just curious if other people have got it working, what they had to do differently than they do when mining other currencies with ccminer.

interestingly, i got the same error when i just tried mining a new (to me) coin on suprnova after i had incorrectly typed my worker name into the .bat. maybe the wallet id you sent me is not really registered?
It's not a mistake in the wallet address, so we did some testing and we were able to do the mining with the wallet address we provided you.

No other miner is having trouble doing mining, this problem is only with you, so I mentioned that there must be some configuration on your pc, I already had the same problem as you (another coin), I changed the mining software and everything went well , this with AMD GPU, I have never worked with Nvidia GPU.

the first message i sent you, i told you exactly what kind of gpu's and system i was using and you told me there would be no problem. i ask you to give me a set up that would work and all you have done is tell me that my configuration must be the problem. i'm not having trouble connecting to any other pool. i've had ccminer stop mining some other currencies, but i have at least been able to establish the connection. i sent you the eth and have not been able to mine a single share, can't even connect to the pool. sounds like i got swindled out of 9 dollars to me. something for nothing

I use Claymore CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2 Beta  and i have no problem  mining here

i'm using nvidia cards

Without a doubt it is some configuration in your computer, since other 14 miners are able to do the mining without problem, in this case we can not instruct you because there may be many things, but the mining pool is working normally, the miners are working and even one of the miners told him that he was able to mine.

The wallet we provided you, we ran tests and that's okay, we were able to do the mining with the wallet address we provided you, so I say the problem is something related to your computer or mining software.

search google for this problem you are facing, sometimes the opinions of those who have gone through this can make the mining work for you.

Another way of scamming people? This is just an ICO with another label. What is the difference? You get coins by early mining when in ICO you buy it. Not cool

Who participates does not receive coins, is not a sale, the campaign aims to obtain funds so that in the future Monero Lite will be listed in an exchange, those who participate in the campaign will have to do the mining with their own pc, the reward for having entered the campaign, is that they can make mining with low to moderate difficulty.

Using xmrminer just modify it for any cryptonight algo pool.
Using driver 21.21.13.7570 old  but newer will work too.

rem -l 8x30 for nvida  750ti
set xmrAddress=>your address<
set poolPassword=x
set poolUrl=stratum+tcp://xmrl.pool.nowss.org:5555
set launchParam=-l 8x30
rem greater value means more interactivity of your system but lower hash rate
set bFactor=10
rem time between a kernel start
set bSleep=100
xmrMiner_0.2.1-3-2017.exe --url=%poolUrl% -u %xmrAddress% -p %poolPassword% %launchParam% --bfactor=%bFactor% --bsleep=%bSleep%

It's hard to know more details on this new XMRL.
Is it just a Mining new coin ? NO-ICO . Need CPU / GPU mining ?
But how to trade this coin in the future ? Any Road-map launch to exchange ?
Please let us know the details plan for your own good.

Tondalink what are you talking about ?

Can you explain your words ?

I support XMRL and I have never seen a virus in a text file. Where is hidden this virus ? Can you show us the report ?
 ???

Only 3 files 237 octets, 244 octets and 322 octets you must only use the address so I think your are not talking about this coin or the regular files. You need only an address to mine at the official pool.  ;D

within a few days another mining pool will be available for miners to have two options in case a pool fails.

so if you can not do the mining for the other mining pool, it will be clear that the problem may be in the configuration of your pc, everything indicates this, but let's wait for the other mining pool to be made available.

Thanks.  :)

Having the same issue. It also says that the pool fee is 2% when it was just 0.01% a few days ago. Not sure what's going on....

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Don't understand what is the point of "Anticipate Mining Campaign".

I've seen a notice about pool being in maintenance and now this message appears

"Attention: payments will be made manually, the mining pool is under preventive maintenance."

You don't have explorer to check whether you got paid or not! No wallet to check whether you getting your coins (until 24th??)

Hope the OP have some answers for us!

This example is for most cryptonight pools.. but I'm not mining this coin yet.

Hello guys,

Can someone confirm me whether the pool is working now or not??

It says my address not found and not seeing any stats during mining??

Is it just me or anyone have the same issue??

Having the same issue. It also says that the pool fee is 2% when it was just 0.01% a few days ago. Not sure what's going on....

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Don't understand what is the point of "Anticipate Mining Campaign".

I've seen a notice about pool being in maintenance and now this message appears

"Attention: payments will be made manually, the mining pool is under preventive maintenance."

You don't have explorer to check whether you got paid or not! No wallet to check whether you getting your coins (until 24th??)

Hope the OP have some answers for us!
The owner of the mining pool informed me that he had a problem with the server and after this fact happened, he also had a problem with the mining pool, something seems to have disconfigured the pool, he also assured me that payments will be made manually at the next Monday and that all mining data is being saved to the database.

within a few days another mining pool will be available so that all miners can have two or more mining pool options in case one fails.

Thanks.

Last Reward: 0.1415 XMRL

Block time is 60 seconds?  That is 203 XMRL a day.

How does emission curve looks like?  Why are not basic information's in OP?

Hello OP,

I've tried to mine using the above new suggested pool, mining was going fine but have'nt seen any sort of payments or mining rewards.

I mined for 2 hours roughly, you can see my submitted hashes in the below screenshot!

http://ibb.co/kJUw5m

http://ibb.co/kJUw5m

The net hash rate seems always high and the difficulty grows like 1000's of miner are already connected to the pool but there are only max 10 miners.

Its not even funny anymore!

Please stop calling it anticipated mining, there is no advantage of it, I can't see my rewards and I can't see my balance!!

We are checking the wallet that we provide to you, tomorrow we will be making the Gui Wallets and Daemon available for download for those who are already participating in the campaign.

We checked the mining pool and it shows maker payments normally, maybe the pool has some bug in the API that does not tell the miner the amount of mined coin, we'll check with the owner of the mining pool.

all your mined coins will be sent to your wallet without any problem.

Thanks.

Hello.

Check the messages in this topic, this will answer many of your future questions.

at the moment, only those who participate in the antecipate mining campaign can do the mining, do not consider buying coins, but as a donation to participate in the campaign and be able to make mining with low to moderate difficulty.
The amount raised will be used to list Monero Lite on a future exchange, so the campaign is important.

I will soon, be posting a roadmap for listing on the exchanges, overall, this will depend on the adoption of the community to Monero Lite.

I am not clear about the statement "this will depend on the adoption of the community to Monero Lite."  As I can see if people are paying for mining this coin and waiting for it to be released for public. So any rough idea on when roadmap will be available.

Will depend on the community that will be formed to support the Monero Lite, within a few hours the mining will be open to all, from this fact we will be able to evaluate the adoption of the public to the Monero Lite.

"this application failed to start because it could not find or load the QT platform plugin "windows" in "".
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem"
We run tests and the wallet is working normally (windows 7 and 8 )

install Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 (if you have not already installed)

I have no idea how to use the daemon

I use windows 10 with all updated´s visual c ++ (I have updated it to use it because I use the miner program that need it) the wallet does not work neither with compatibility mode nor in administrator mode

the error seems to be only with windows 10 (I hate windows 10, so I use windows 7)

for now use the daemon with simplewallet, just start the daemon and after synchronized, start the simplewallet, click 'G' to generate a new wallet, enter the wallet password, after that your wallet will be working and the address will appear , copy and paste and start mining.

Install QT 5.7 and start the wallet, let me know if it starts normally

Download:
encurtador.com.br/jovx5 (http://encurtador.com.br/jovx5)

if even installing the QT 5.7 does not open the wallet, I will repair the wallet to work with other versions of windows.

However dev, I think you should fix the wallet for W10 users. Nobody likes downloading 900MB program to open a wallet.

all these e-shit coins have been spoiling the diversity and integrity of the official coins... if the official coins get to know about all these shit coins using their names , it would be hell lot of a problem.. could even face copyright and trademark issues...

if you have problem with one pool, do the mining in the other, it is good to decentralize the mining in several pools.

Graymines Pool

(I will check with the pool owner if there is any problem.)

you must to wait the blocks get mature, it needs 60 blocks to confirm, i think 2 hours or more, but it's fine, you don't lose your coins, be patient.

Someone will know how to maintain a fixed stratum difficulty in the pool, rises dramatically preventing receiving "accepted actions"?

or is it natural?

In my pool ( https://monerolite.superpools.net ) you only have to add a desired .diff after your wallet address.
Now I check the configuration, which may have very high values for this difficulty.

EJ. minerd -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://monerolite.superpools.net:3923 -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.diff -p x

If you have little hashrate in a pool with a lot of people I also prefer to keep the difficulty fixed.

IMHO auto is the best;
If you talk about getting smammed with low diff. shares at start - set start diff. higher
If you talk about miner diff. going too high and got disconnected - set diff. change step to smaller percentage

By default (what makes sense) miner is auto adjusted to put shares_count/time_period whatever his hashing power is.

I can't imagine mining a coin with a max supply of 4,752,000 but a block reward of 0.14

If a Dev don't explain this I suppose that is a major technical error that become this coin in a total waste of time.

can you give the details of reward from the beginning and to the last? estimating times to reach the total and total block no?

Thank you very much. it worked

indeed, i was in his pool and was trying to mine with a modest equipment (taking advantage of the fact that the currency is new) since the algorithm it uses is friendly so to speak

I also took advantage of the fact that I have never tried to mine with this algorithm so I killed two birds with one stone

thanks for your reply

If it increased so much that it already failed to receive "accepted actions" after a while it disconnected and was restart from 0 or diff 100 again.

but they answered me adjusted the difficulty to a minimum, with that solved

I suppose this type of pool automatically adjusts the difficulty, not?

Yes, diff is auto-set, if miner fails to send shares long time 2 things can happen:
- disconnct
- difficulty for him gets lower

All of this is can be set up.

Try my pool if you want:

fee is only 0.8%

Are you sure you have set sufficient transaction fee for the wallet pool? All of the large transactions from the pool to my wallet are missing though they are listed on the site as valid. This coin seems very funny to me. I have participated the so called 'Anticipated Mining' by paying for it.

During that time my per day yield never exceeded more than 10 coins per day, but after the 'Anticipated Mining' has been finished now I'm getting more coins.

I know it has lots of depending factors but still doesn't make sense, as the yield should be other way around.

I sincerely regret paying for 'Anticipated Mining', only because I haven't got any advantage for participating in the 'Anticipated Mining' !!

My suggestion, go with AEON or SUMO for a good Monero alternative. Or even Traderscoin (TRDC).

How to mine Aeon on Cpu?

I am without balance, I prefer to stop before I enlarge the problem.

Do mining in a mining pool, mining solo is not profitable.

At present, mining pool running only Graymines, SuperPools is under maintenance.

block time 60s, block reward ~0.14 and total coin is 4,752,000 --> 1 day 1440 block mined ~ 201.6 coins --> about 23571 days ~ 64 years all coins will mined. @@

When the pools hashrate is faster than the Network pool.

http://prntscr.com/h1sx6h

The Network hash rate is calculated over a period that lags as difficulty gets adjusted. Once difficulty converges to such that block time is 60s, the Network hash rate will equal the sum of hash rates of all pools and solo miners. This is how mining works.

When for example a single miner doubles the mining rate of the pool, it will take many hours (12 to 24 or such, I don't know what is selected for XMRL) for the difficulty to properly converge.

Graymines operator: you need to reduce minimum payout.  1 XMRL may seem like a small number, but that represents 7 whole blocks.  This is the equivalent of setting a minimum of 42 Monero for payout on a Monero pool, it's just stupid.  Especially once our hash reaches 200+ KH/s, many miners may not even get a block in a day.  You should make the payout at 0.1, not 1.

The https://monerolite.superpools.net pool is already open

All transactions that gave errors have been paid
I miss by error in the new transactions:
* TmFvknE .... W9MsMm 7.31
* TmGyfft .... P67mv6 16.02
When the transactions are canceled (24h aprox) I will resend them.

I've already set up the pool to avoid future errors and I'll keep an eye on it

If someone who had outstanding balance has some question that he sent me his address and I send the detail

Thank you all for the trust

Lambo, heli, bitches..

Personally I find this IMO interesting, but the whole setup pretty bad. Code zipped somewhere, nonworking pool, very bad communication with community - potential is lost. I don't see anything "lite" about this, except the approach of coin creators.
Wish there would be professional xmr like coin less resource hungry and more user friendly.

Next one plz.

Dev has a choice:

1) He can work hard to make a serious competitor to Monero.  This means (a) transparency: give the full list of accounts who signed up for the early-mining, with a full record of what they paid and how it will be spend, (b) engage the community seriously with more updates and ways to connect with dev and each other, and (c) give a serious try to coding out the problems and pool issues.  Make this coin to Monero what Litecoin became to Bitcoin.  Immortalize a place the history of cryptocurrencies, when they write in a hundred years about the legends that were born on this forum.

2) Take the few thousand dollars and run away, spend it on booze, wake up a few months from now just as poor and just as unfulfilled, and work on the next scam.

I think dev has shown potential for #1, but he needs to do a lot more to be transparent.

Surprisingly strong network for a young coin.  50+ miners and 140 KH/s hashrate across both pools.

I know that sounds small, but anyone who is/was mining early in CryptoNote projects like CharnaCoin, HumanityCoin, SUPcoin, IRD, Intensecoin, Masari etc. knows that the hashrate usually starts out very weak for the first few months.  140 KH/s in the first few weeks is very good by comparison (of that list, I think only IntenseCoin did better, but I'm not 100% sure).

i think the transaction fees are to high for an block reward for 0.14 XMRL it should be 0.0001 or 0.00001 transaction fees.

I mined over 20 coins during anticipated mining campaign using the first pool your provided in the beginning. I downloaded the wallet yesterday and there were only two coins which I mined on monerolite.superpools.net and nothing else! I messaged dev and got no response so far! Seems like I payed for the campaign just to let dev's affiliates steal my mined coins. Do you think, that project beginning with SCAM could develop to a well recognized coin?

As per reading the Monero Classic Ann it is clear it was Scam. XMRL thread is definitely looking better but I hope it will not be that story again when dev and his team fled by selling coins/crowdfunding and left others like Morons.

But when i see the GUI wallet, i can't see the option to import my address??

I don't see any options to export the private key either!! how can we import that 'Anticipated Mining' address ??

How can we move coins around??

Any explorer to check all the transactions??

Some of my transactions are still pending from the 2nd announced pool (https://monerolite.superpools.net/), it still says the amount is locked. Who should I ask for that??

Hope I get answers, thanks :)

I am not clear what makes this a "Lite" version of Monero. It seems to just be a copy of the Bytecoin reference implementation. When I read "Lite", I was thinking there were some electrum-style light blockchain features included, but I don't see anything of the sort.

More importantly, where is the link to the source code in OP?! I would never run foreign binaries without either compiling myself or auditing the code. Crypto should be open source. Is this "Lite" because it includes a small worm or virus?  :o

Is there anything new about this coin, any concept behind it or will it benefit the social community in any way??
or its just a cryptonight based clone with a brand name??

The https://monerolite.superpools.net pool is already open

All transactions that gave errors have been paid
I miss by error in the new transactions:
* TmFvknE .... W9MsMm 7.31
* TmGyfft .... P67mv6 16.02
When the transactions are canceled (24h aprox) I will resend them.

I've already set up the pool to avoid future errors and I'll keep an eye on it

If someone who had outstanding balance has some question that he sent me his address and I send the detail

Thank you all for the trust

I feel the delay, after a disconnected time I have updated and I have already paid everything pending.

I already received your message

Now follow these simple steps (I've done it in other wallet's based cryptonight and I have not had problems)

important to make a backup's of all the files for security. I do not become reponable of any lost

this method is the importation of a "unique" wallet I mean you have to make a backup of the wallet generated by the wallet if it also has a balance there and repeat the new process to restore the old wallet

first of all see the images with the steps described here, https://imgur.com/a/yLAqe

1. you must first locate where the wallet stores all its configuration (it is marked in red) if you do not see "app data" activate the hidden file display from the control panel

As you can see, the wallet generates a default address, which I will not use temporarily

2.This is what we want to get and as you can see in the "daemon" this is our address to the want to import into the wallet

we locate the file "wallet.bin.wallet" inside the daemon folder

3. Make a backup copy of both "monerolite" folder and the daemon it is important to do so, if you want to recover your old wallet generated from monerlo lite GUI

4. As you can see both files are categorized as "wallet" file so I see no problem replacing one with another no matter the size

5. Copy the file "wallet.bin.wallet" from the daemon to another folder ...

6.And rename it with the same file name wallet de monero lite

7. Now copy the renamed file to the monero lite folder

8.Confirm ...

9. finished.

10. Now run monerolite GUI again and you will see the same wallet address that came in the daemon

11.Repeat the process if you want to recover the old wallet from the backup

If you used a paper wallet or received your respective keys, repeat the process shown here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBVO1vsusoE

if you only received a public key, you're fucked (no offense)

EDIT, I have no relationship with that team

I only follow this post for a few weeks, I'm only interested in the cryptonight currency because they are easy to mine with cpu at an early age and most of these new projects always release the "daemon" first

I have done the same with wallet based scypts and had no problem

I only saw his comment with the same case as me (it happened to me in another cryptonight currency which resisted the import of the wallet file from GUI) and decided to help

All anon devs should be required to pay a deposit to an escrow agent before being allowed to promote a coin on this forum. I also sick of this. Crypto could be so much fun without those scammers. Mining and all that stuff is exciting but not if it goes this way.

I love how people bring the scam scam word and say someone took money when a coin is not even listed on any market !!!
What money has the dev stole from anyone ?

There was a paid mining period.  Dev released wallet early to those who paid, and promised to use that money for listings.  So IF the dev has in fact run off, it is a scam, because there was real money involved.

I agree. I'm still mining

What on earth are you talking about?  The dev has been offline for 17 days.  What makes you think this project is alive?  I'd be happy for you if it is, but you all are mining blindly with no information.

Well, you will understand once you get along, as from your account status it seems you have only entered ?

I have paid some BTC for pre mining, not just me but many others too, pre-mining was over and the OP disappeared, so coin doesn't need to be on exchanges to call it a scam as this coin goes no where with out OP (as a community even we can't do anything)!

I don't understand the reasons , why disappeared? Was only 10-15 miners who pay for anticipated mining sow this is around 100-150$.Wired.

That sounds interesting coin, I am not sure about its future, this coin has not been listed in any exchanges, which means that you cannot really know its price.

Given that it was never alive, that would be a fair assumption :D
Never ceases to amaze me what people will fall for out of pure greed.  Good entertainment though.

This is just a clone, nothing new to this coin, the transaction fee for XMR is really expensive, I hope there is 'lite' version of XMR appear to solve the problem.

More expensive than some, but at less than $1 it's reasonable in the current environment, and a bargain for what you are getting.  Also keep in mind the 80+% reduction in fees coming 03-2018.
No need for 'lite' anything.  As if any undeveloped clone could improve on a project like Monero.
People.  (and bots).  If it doesn't offer a REAL TEAM and ground breaking tech, IT IS ONLY THERE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.  Monero has ~300 contributors (with 134 individuals contributing directly to master.)  Do some research ffs.

I think response time was long enough and no interest at all - closing pool.
