As you can read the title, these are the words said by Former Wall Street giant turned Billionaire Mike Novogratz that they won't be surprised if Bitcoin reaches $10k by 2018. We have all been seeing some sarcastic comments from many Wall Street giants and here's an opposite statement coming from someone who used to be a part a Wall-Street. Hey critics, what do you think now?

We are sure to see 10k very soon because the price has broken the level that I expected it to, before the end of October. So, let's just start counting days unless this battle between SW and S2X comes to an end and let the real action begin.

Most of the negative comments by Wall Street traders end up making them look like clueless assholes when bitcoin has often done the exact opposite of what they’ve predicted so yeah, hopefully this time the positive price prediction comes true.

1 bitcoin at the value of $10,000 would be pretty awesome in the next 6-10 months.

I won’t be surprised if it reaches that price but I won’t be surprised if it stays below 4000$ during that year because there are so many factors that can affect the price, and that we cannot know of, that to make correct steady predictions of the price you’d better get a crystal ball.

What usually happens is that there are so many predictions on the price that most people fail but when one guesses correctly people think that he is a good predictor whereas the truth is that, statistically, among so many predictions someone is going to guess right.

Obviously anyone on this forum would be happy to see it reach 10K!  Even if it does hit it once it will probably go back down to 4-6K a couple of weeks after...

It is possible that if the price of bitcoins will continue to increase We can see how fast it will last only a few days, so soon bitcoins will reach such a price of 6k to 10k us dollars. So just trust the bitcoins and keep it together for when it comes to that we are sure to be instant millionaire

I think it's possible. Bitcoin has already proven that its value can soar high from 1,000$ to 4,000$ in just a couple of months. Because of that, more and more people are engaging into bitcoin. I won't be surprised if it hits that 10,000$ in a couple of months. ;)

10K in 6 to 10months is very likely to happen. As we've seen how btc price of almost $900 at the beginning of 2017 up to $5K in less than a year that's very feasible. So before the 3rd quarter of 2018 we'll be seeing that 5digits value. Never mind those critics who can't appreciate good things that cryptocurrency has to offer. It's their loss anyway. I won't even be surprised if some of them have swallowed their words and already joined the pool and invested in btc and other alts seeing how profitable cryptos are.

obviously looking at the trend and performance of bitcoin a 2x rise in 10 months is a simple and pretty common thing! anyone looking at the history can confirm this. and $10K is a little bit bigger than 2x rise now.

additionally he is saying all the possible things in one comment. we all know when the drama (which acts like a hand break) goes away the price soars high so when SegWit SegWit2x drama ends peacefully price will go to the moon.

We could assist of a new bitcoin rally , but I don't see it reach the 10k mark , maybe 6-7k at it's highest. I want as much as you guys to see bitcoin going higher and higher but one we will see the 10k mark for sure.

It is likely that bitcoin will be able to reach $ 10,000 next year. Everything depends on how governments will contribute to its development in their country.

It is great news for bitcoin related people. Obviously it is possible to reach up 10k in next couple months. We know Bitcoin has great value now and it is increasing​ rapidly. For this reason, reaching on 10k is very simple for bitcoin.

I'm expecting a good rise for bitcoin price before the end of the year. Maybe it will be sooner after this month split.

I think this would be possible and it would be really good, other TA in twitter projecting bitcoin to be $7000 this year it would be really nice to have a $10,000 per bitcoin :) others are really hoarding bitcoins now because we all know that bitcoin will really pump high and it will drive people crazy

I think bitcoin should increase more than $10,000 or less than $10,000 we cannot predict anything about the bitcoin. But it will be increase continued. So most of the users are saving the bitcoin. Lot of buyer and seller are eagerly waiting for increasing the bitcoin value.

heard that news ! but read some post bout the form too with the 9k usd milestone on the 25 of octoberand 10,000 usd before the december of 2017 ends! also heard that 13k usd will punch on or before last day of march!

there a lot of users will truly want to have bitcoin after reading some article or update news me too as a beginner here i also want to have bitcoin as far as we know that the price they are going to predict will happen in the near future.

Predicting an eventual price of $10k for Bitcoin isn't that big of a stretch anymore. Back when Bitcoin was struggling to get past $1k it would have been a 10x increase back then to get to the magical $10k, so it might have seemed more unrealistic of a number for many. But now that it has flirted with $5k a couple of times, it is only a 2x increase. While the nice round number of $10k might be some sort of psychological level, from a pure mathematical perspective it is more incredible that bitcoin grew to $5k from trading at only a few cents each 7-8 years ago. So expecting another doubling in price isn't really that farfetched considering Bitcoin's history.

It may be possible. See what has happened within just these past 6 months. It is going to be a crazy roller coaster ride. Remember to always buy low to lower the chance of losing money. BTC is still going very strong imo. Looking forward for btc to reach a new ATH

I'm already waiting for the next big drop after the next big fork or is that independent to the last one ?

I dont usually believe on the speculations on some people even how popular they are but i do base usually on my own point of view.Not being to sarcastic but i do have my own way though. 10k in next 6-10 months is nearly impossible though thinking off that we cant even break out that 5k resistance but well its possible to break that after the fork though but reaching 10k would really be soon.

It is not totally unrealistic, because a year ago the price was between $600 and $700. If you add the growth from last year to the

current price, you get more or less $8000. So if you want the Bitcoin price to be $10 000 a year from now, it has to grow at a faster

pace as it grew last year. So I would rather say that you would be more realistic, if you predicted a price of between $7000 to

$ 8000.  ;)

The analysis is realistic. It is very possible for Bitcoin to be $10,000 in by end of 2018. Personally, I feel that Bitcoin might exceed the $10,000 level and settle around $15,000 to $20,000

6 to 10 month from now is inside 2018. right in the middle of the year. and it is a good prediction. compared to last year (a little more than 10 months ago) the same rise happened and in the same time frame the same rises have been happening at least for 2.5 years (~30 months).

when thinking about short term, things sometimes look scary with all the forks and the China fake bans and all but if you look at the bigger picture, the FUD drops look like a small correction on the chart.

i agree with that 7k$ really possible to happen this year we really hoping that this incoming fork wont harm the btc rally if we remember last time that
fork happen btc jumped to double its value and still continue to show strong resistance so if 10k wont happen right away hope 7k will do before the year

People and holders are honestly greedy they are waiting for the price could be hit at 5k level and expect that the price of bitcoin can be drop after the fork..
Look the movement we seen the movement after hit $4,900 level the price was drop because there are still people are holding a good amount of bitcoin they don't have plan to get the new coin for free just like what happen in bitcoin cash..

Yea this can really easy hapent but maybe it will not be 10k but I think that It will be or close to 10k$ because bitcoin price is growing slowly and slowly every year because it have already a really big price.

Many people says it is very possible, yes it is possible but I doubt it will reach 10k till the end of 2018. My prediction is that it will be only reach 7k max next year. Lets see what will happen on the next fork then we can predict again after the fork, I think it will not bring much effects to bitcoin price like th e latest fork.

No one can truly tell what would happen really. I guess as stakeholders, we all hope that it does reach $10K.  I personally don’t think it will hit that rate so early on but would be very happy if it did. Maybe I can reach a $100 at last  :(

That's very possible that btc value will become $10K in the next 10 months. I think so because right now we are very close to $5K and I think we can reach $6K by the end of this year. So the additional 4K by the middle of 2018 is achievable. We might even see 12 to 15K before 2019 but I think that is very high but it wouldn't hurt to hope so high. Anything is possible with bitcoin. There might be an occasional dips but once btc started surging there's no way to stop it.

That is all we are hoping and waiting for.  It could be possible that it will reach that mark but it could also stayed on itsnlevel right now.  No one knows but we are hoping for the best.  If ever that it happened, we will all be happy about it.

2017 is the biggest year for bitcoin.Actually not only bitcoin, for many altcoins and ICO's. It is a year that you should consider as a milestone in the history of bitcoin. This year Bitcoin managed to get the attention of more investors. The same will repeat if bitcoin touches 10,000$ mark. Many discussions will happen if it touches 10k mark.More investors will come in the future and it will increase furthermore after reaching 10k.

What is the point in all these forecasts? What are the basis for pseudo-analysts from Wall Street? After all, all adequate investors have known for a long time that cryptology is not subject to fundamental and technical analysis. 90% of cases, when the forecast coincided with the result - pure accident. This market is driven by other forces. It is only necessary to compare all those moments when the forecasts did not come true, then all the analysts are collapsing.  ::)

I wish. I do doubt that it would reach that with in such a small amount of time though. If amazon does accept Bitcoin then it could be written in the stars.

Well, I certainly argee that it is possible to happen and we all know that bitcoin is on high demand on online market and trading sites. In addition to that, we must trsut bitcoin and just believe that the price of bitcoin will rapidly increase in the future and I hope it would happen.

I think that the person who predicted this price is highly optimistic because it seems to be tough to reach that price within that period.Segwit 2x is to be activated very soon and it has more miners support.We don't know exactly that what would be the impact of it over bitcoin and only if bitcoin survives after that,then only we could expect a high price rise.

It will be possible because bitcoin breakout this Laval and ti is not time to start for counting when bitcoin reach 10k. we hope it will be a short time around 6-8 month. There are many people know about bitcoin will be hit around 10k in a short time so we are waiting for this hit.

Haha, I totally agree to this man. And I have a strong feeling that this proecss will even be faster. About 3 to 4 months, bitcoin can easily cross $10000. However, right now, The biggest obstacle is the hard fork. In this month, bitcoin will have a next big hard fork which can change bitcoin and make it stronger. if, the forks can not make bitcoin as strong as developers say, bitcoin will be replaced by other coin and it will never reach $10000 again ;)

Yes, if the price keep rising like the few previous months, the Bitcoin will reach $10k in the few next months, most likely. But we need to wait and see, the price is volatile and we can't predict exactly the chart.
At least it will keep increasing and its good time to buy and hold.

This would be very nice to see, although as others said its a rather vague prediction and was obviously based off the current trends. Most of them in the prediction booth just want to have one of those "yay, I said that" moments.

Mike Novogratz said he will invest $500M in cryptocurrencies,initial coin offering and other related companies. This is a big positive thing for bitcoin and for sure it will help the price to go up, but it is not sure it will go up to 10.000$. We have to wait for the next fork and see what impact it will have for bitcoin. Also the Russian banks are not yet in a good situation with cryptocurrencies

If that is gonna happen all bitcoin users would celebrate for the successful regulations and be happy with that case, off course. I should start saving bitcoin today lmao.

This makes sense for me. Hitting 10k dollars around the mid 2018 is still possibe. First, we need to get rid of chinese regulation and banning decissions and bitcoin split actions. The rest is smooth.

Everything is possibe with Bitcoin and I am sure with that because after I entered the cryptocurrency scene last year Bitcoin always grow exponentially and unexpectedly every month, We also seen the downs of Bitcoin within this whole year round but it always bounces back quickly and with this it is a great sign of a strong digital currency and we all know that it almost multiplied by 7+ since October of 2016 and if this continues within the next 6-10 months then there is no doubt that it will reach that $10,000 mark.

If this upcoming Segwit2x will become successful even with Split or not and Bitcoin survive another round of FUD or any king of threats then the new era of Bitcoin will begin and the price of it will boom again for the year 2018.

Bitcoin at the moment took a period of ten months to go from $1000 to the current value which is hovering between $4800 although it has experienced a lot of setback throughout the year, that is very much to be expected with an investment reaching $10,000 is doable but i think there will be enough setbacks to derail those targets.

I think BTCs current price has a lot to do with people buying in to get a share of upcoming
forks.  In order to get increased price we would really need increased utility. There's
only certain things you can do with BTC currently. If we made it so you couls use BTC
for anything you can use dollars for, I don't see why price couldn't be +$100k.

This is a possibility, but there is also a strong chance, that it may pull back in a meaningful way also, before heading higher again.

I have been telling people that $100 today in Bitcoin will be worth over $100,000 within 5 years. I made it a point to ask people I run into this week if they have ever heard of Bitcoin and so far 8 out of 8 said they never heard of it. If Bitcoin can climb in price so fast now when very few people know of it then imagine what the price will do when 7 out of 8 know of and are buying Bitcoin. This is still the ground floor !

I heard this talk so many times :D "It went up so much, it has to stop at some point." That's true, but you never know at which point of the peak you are at the moment. It  went up by $3000 this year, it may be the end, but it can as well go up by another $3000 before it stops. I think we are still at the bottom and we'll jump up by at least $2000 in the next 6 months. Many people think we'll double the curent price, which is also possible. It would be enough for China to remove the ban for us to break $5000.

Most of critics of the bitcoin and crypto currency are bankers so these kind of opinion will come out as always from personality who has a large depth of vision regarding the cryptos. For me it is just a matter of time, surely btc will hit $10k but no one knows yet but in my own opinion it would be at the start of the 3rd quarter next year, in the first 2 quarters the btc will just keep on rising and will slowdown after hitting $10k. No matter what we should rejoice if btc will hit $10k another profitable year for us :)

This. is positive price prediction which everyone would love to hear at anytime.
Earlier this year, BTC was at $1k and now it's almost $5k.
In the next one year, I see BTC getting to X2 of the price now.

That's what every Bitcoin user wants the price to sky rocket in no time . But it can decrease the number of buyers and would be increase the number of sellers as people will try to sell the coins to get good 10X + Profits.

The question will it happen or not,  maybe its possible it can reach up to 10k or even it can cross the 10,000$ since the values is 4800$ now and we have been seeing a rapid growth for last 8 to 9 months. From my analysis I can see it increases in 6-10 months to the double the amount it is now.

Looks like I'm sure with this statement, it's true the possibility of bitcoin will be up to $10k for the next few months. Before the process segwit2x bitcoin price are now having so increasing, especially later after segwit2x process is done. With the higher bitcoin price, this will make more people who will approach to bitcoin (including the layman) I'm sure of this.

Hopefully this would be true it would really be great if the bitcoin price would reach that high,
I think most of us would be holding our coins now and wait for it to turn the price into 10k in the next 6-10 months.

That's the price I have been waiting for since the rise started from 1k to 5k.
We are now in for a bigger rally this time and it looks like the price will shoot higher at an extreme pace during mid-November, so don't just sell now and wait and my personal advice would be - HODL Bitcoins and don't invest in alts (this isn't said for ICOs) currently.

Things looking very good right now. I was honestly really worried about everything China and I'm very pleasantly surprised. Alt coins continue to struggle big time, we're back to the situation we were a year ago - BTC is king. Alts had an amazing early 2017, but momentum has shifted. Don't get me wrong, there's still room for some Alts, but the days of unified continuous green across most of the top 30 coins seems distant now.

There are a couple shining stars between the alts:
ETH and XRP and LTC are still my favorite coins.

Didn't expect BTC to hit 5K already tho.....

Bitcoin has already reached 5,000 $ at this time. I am very excited. I think that bitcoin will continue to grow and therefore it can reach even 10,000 $ in a few months.

There is and there will always be the other face of the medal in everything but the price of bitcoin will rise until the majority will realise it is not at all as good as they think, many alts are developing incredible better and fastest systems but they need years to be recognised, it will take time but i think bitcoin will not rise for ever.

I think this is very possible, if you compare the price of bitcoin now and to what it was in the beginning of the year, there has been solid growth.

It is true that the price has been increasing a lot in the last months and now it is in the  $5000, but from now on it will be necessary a lot more money to make the price reach the $10,000, I knew that the nigeria has an exchange for users of the africa and also in zimbabwe the bitcoin is very attractive, we need more countries to buy bitcoin, and it is also true that russia intends to prevent its citizens from using exchange to buy btc, this only shows that there is still a huge danger if bitcoin is dependent on countries with a regime like China and Russia, it will be good for Japan and many other countries to dominate the bitcoin mining sector, so as not to have a sudden drop that we had in the last few weeks because of China.

This is possible to happen the price as of now is 5.1k USD yesterday it was 4.8k USD if the price will be consistent and behave in the charts maybe 2nd quarter of year 2018 it will hit.
The 5k USD PRICE MARKUP REACHED another milestone for coins.. but maybe there is posibility that bitcoin will stay above 4k USD but who knowsss...

Also the price will vary because of many factors bitcoin can affect..

Maybe he is now a billionaire because he is already an expert in earning bitcoin but I think it does not mean that he can already predict what will be its price in the near months to come. We all know that no one is controlling bitcoin. If it will be 10K, it has a reason like why the bitcoin price goes down last month. I will not be very happy right now because of that news, just later when it already happen. And I will just believe in him if the bitcoin price really become 10k in the next 6 to 10 months “to see is to believe”.
 

Human being by virtue of the way they are configured, they are insatiable and I was even expecting to see something like this even after I was happy we touched $5000 and the next mark for our people will be $10000 but whats surprising to me is that, the moment there is a little crash, a lot people would be the first to talk about how bad investment in bitcoin is and all of that. Lets just hope that this upward trend can last long enough for everyone to rejoice over.

Yes no one controls bitcoin but i think the one who is controlling are all of us the future of it are in our hand and for that prediction hope it will be there is a lot of investors that are might gonna be happy. Let just wait and see what will happen.

I trully agree with that, bitcoin has already reached a new high in august and now 2 months later, it breaks another record all time high so its not suprising if bitcoin will double the value, in the next 6 months. Lots of people might be a bit skeptical about it, but i think bitcoin will become more valuable and there is no reason for those wall street giants to turn their back against it anymore.

Yes mate i just agree with your opinion. Bitcoin is getting so polular nowadays and  the price of bitcoin is growing up and up and now 1 Bitcoin equals 5144.00 US Dollar.  Soo the price of possibly gonna hit 10k within 5-6 months

There is no doubt in that fact that bitcoin will cost 10k. But I wander does it is going to be bitcoin's maximum or not?
Many experts, not only from the Wall Street, predicted so and I used to believe them and to hope that it will come true sooner or later.

People have also predicted it to fail and i think there is much doubt that it will hit 10k that would be unbelievable.

I haven't read that words by Mike Novogratz and I don't even know him but whomever he is, I liked his words and this is the counterpart of those FUDsters on the Wall St. And he's even more reliable than Jamie Dimon. Adding together with McAfee's words about bitcoin they've got a good shot with the price of bitcoin and this is very possible so I would expect bitcoin at $10,000 for the next 6-10 months.

That is highly possible. We are talking about 2018. But since we are still in 2017 and there are 3 more months to go before 2017 finally ends, it is going to be a little bit easy for bitcoin to reach 10K USD in 2018. I can even imagine bitcoin to be hitting 7K USD within the months left of 2017. We are even breaking 5K USD this early.

Yes it is. I believe so cause the biggest barrier at this time is 5k$ and it's broken we just need to wait the hard fork over and Bitcoin price will go to the moon soon :))). Let hold as much as you can my friend or buy some more if you want cause in my opinion after the hard fork Bitcoin price will increase at least 2 times for now

This can happen in the future that the price of bitcoin will reach 10,000 USD or even more because a lot of good things are happening and the adoption for bitcoin is getting more and more realistic because of the news that attracting the attention of the other countries that wants to have some latest technology. Bitcoin will be booming in the next year so i think it is really possible.

Bitcoin hitting the $10,000 mark is actually not impossible. We are even looking as well at the hard fork that will happen and will surely be a catalyst for bitcoin's price to increase and spike up. Let's just hope that there won't be any FUDs again that will affect some people because it will surely be a hindrance to bitcoin's growth again.

Let us see what will be the next price of bitcoin after 6 months. It is possible to reach those prices after a year or months. This a good news for us who holds their bitcoins for a long time. For sure I think bitcoin will reach $10k by around April. I expect $15k-20k by the end of next year. Of course it is possible it will be even higher but we'll see.

Thats true, I hope it will not another BCSH or bitcoin cash. They are taking advantage of this upgrade which is at the expense of new investors. I hope this kind of practice will be regulated people will find a way to exploit it. Just beware and be vigilant.

This is quite ambitious but this is somehow possible. Bitcoin has been constantly rising since the year opened and it still is eventhough the hardfork is just around the corner. Bitcoin has been gaining popularity lately thus inviting more and more investors which somehow influences value of bitcoin as of the moment.

This may happen with bitcoin, because bitcoin grows rapidly as the user grows and his popularity increases over time, and of course we expect next year's bitcoin price to reach $ 10,000, and now there's still a chance to invest in bitcoin for future profits.

Another great all time high for bitcoin, just like what the majority is expecting before the hard fork we saw the price of bitcoin reached at $5,000 and as an update we are now at $5,200.

This is real quick and for sure there will be more to come in the next upcoming days. Expect there might be some correction but I hope that this correction will not take long.

And hopefully that $5,000 now is the best thing that happened this early month of October of becoming it's new floor price.

I definitely hope it does but also believe the second it hit's 10k there will be a massive sell off similar to what we saw when Bitcoin hit 5k for the first time in September.

I'm curious, looks like many of us on here are investing in Bitcoin to get rich. But are we not trying to see Bitcoin eventually replace the dollar? With that said, why do we care about the dollar price that bitcoin reaches?

The prediction last year was Bitcoin will reach its 5000$ mark before 2017 ends, then it just happen now. 10K$ mark is not impossible, it might possibly happen in the next months. Knowing a hard fork will happen soon, Bitcoin will surely pump in value. There is no denying that Bitcoin is gaining more popularity, I wont be surprised if its demand increase. And this would be a good news because demand is one factor why it pumps in value. Lets hope for a better future for bitcoin.

It is really surprising that the FUD from China had no effect at all on the exchange rates of Bitcoin. Jamie Dimon will be banging his head against the wall right now (not if his daughter had amassed thousands of Bitcoins at sub-3,000 prices a few weeks back). Overall, it is positive trend for Bitcoin. We can expect the exchange rates to cross $10,000 by the end of this year.

Everyone is waiting for the next btc boom. As btc got dumped due to decision of China's govt. on it's use. It recovered itself now. And if everything goes just fine we can see it touching 6k+ $ in next few days.

I believe that the next hardfork on november would give a correction to bitcoin, and that was a chance to get more bitcoin. I thought the battle between segwit and segwit2x will strongly affect the price of bitcoin. Not just that, I thought that bitcoin cash will take the chance to climb back to around $500 or more. $10k wasn't a big deal, bitcoin always proves that it is better than we thought. Don't miss the chance.

I bought some bitcoin on 10/3 @ $4,327.  I didn't go "all in" because the price seemed kinda high, given that it had been down to $3,000 just a few weeks earlier.  So have been patiently waiting for the next dip, but it keeps going on the wrong direction.  :)   In hind sight, I should have gone all in back on 10/3.  Dammit.  I read that Reddit article that was just posted.  Guess I'll pray he's right, and wait for the next dip before going all in.

This is a very realistic speculation, I couldn't agree more that Bitcoin might reach 10000 usd within 6-10 months, though it seems today that Bitcoin is very bullish, we should also recognize that fact that some countries still don't accept Bitcoin and there are those who wants to see Bitcoin fall down, but the fact is more and more people are beginning to invest in Bitcoin and are finally seeing why bitcoin was made, let's take a look at European countries for example, some of its countries are considered poor already if we look at their national debt, there is also disruption, and in order for them to survive financially, most of them cling to Bitcoin, there are also financial institutions that are investing in Bitcoin exchanges, I think we would then see a gradual increase on the value of Bitcoin within 6-10 months, and hopefully it reaches 10000 usd or even higher.

I am actually reading the same article now and this is not anymore surprising since the man must have understood the many ins and outs of cryptocurrency plus he is already out of Wall Street so he has no industry anymore to protect or as what Dimon has been doing...to fight for the industry that has been good to him for many, many years.

The trend has been that the price increases a while after the forks. Initially it reduces, maybe becuase people are busy cashing in on the sentiment, but once those red candlesticks stablize, it'll be green for a while. It has passed now at $5,000 and was into $5,500. Bitcoin is no more FUD influenced cryptocurrency and instead for it to fall, those FUDs are really helping.

Yes, bitcoin will reach 10K in the next coming months. Maybe even before next year. Big Wall Street brokers buy bitcoins and that's not without a reason. If it's possible to raise from 4K to akmost 6 in just a few days, that makes clear everything can happen.

I expected the price to drop after BTG fork. But it didn't happen as $6k level was maintained for longer than expected before hardfork and now it would be tough to drop back to $4k range. I think I'm inclined to say that bitcoin price of can be touched $10000. We have seen a lot of rally lately, and it the market consolidates, I'm expecting a massive bull run maybe in 3 different occasions to push the price to $10000. Of course we can't really ignore that they might be some negative news that will come, however, it will be just temporary and bitcoin will recovered from that and another run will be made before reaching $10000 is the next 5-6 months. I can't agree with you more. It is really possible since the pump on its market value is continuous. It seems that it can be achieved before this year end because of the segwit2x that might be the biggest factor for its value to be more expensive just like the recent fork last August which made the value of Bitcoin to go skyrocket. If it will be as successful or even more successful yhan the fork I've mentioned, Bitcoin might reach 10000$ with ease at the end of December.

It is expected that the price of bitcoin will continue increasing tell segwit2x, but after that i am sure that everyone will like to get the profit and therefore we can see some selling pressure, the price is already stuck between 7600$ and 7000$, investors are feeling reluctant while investing money there. Therefore its look like difficult that the price of bitcoin will cross 10K this years. Although there are more chances that the bitcoin price will even cross 10k but we can expect that price of bitcoin will cross that limit in next one year.

Maybe if we have a new free money fork every 2 months Bitcoin will go to $1 million. In fact I've read about a fork in December.

I do not trust the SegWit2x until the result is good. Finally, the change of Bitcoin miner made the Bitcoin dropped today. In my opinion, SegWit2x is just a dream created to pump the price of Bitcoin like Bitcoin Unlimited, only Bitcoin Cash is a successful project to helps Bitcoin solve its total supply coin.

you are right because if we back 6 months price up from 3,000$ to 7,000$ so it is easy to up from 7,000 to 10,000 in next 10 months

If we look at how it was increased last 6 months then yes it sounds like it will hit $10k easily but it wont be as easy as you think. If you only look at that way, do you think it will hit $49,000,000 in the next 8 years as it was less than $1 on 2009 and it is now around $7k?

Bitcoin already cross 6900$ and now 1 Bitcoin equals 6928.06 US Dollar.  Always believe in bitcoin and the price of bitcoin is raising so fast and if the price continue to growing in this way then  i think  bitcoin obviously can hit 10,000$ or more in the next 5-6 months

This is not a calculation and a rule fixed. You forget everything can changes anytime as long as the mentality of people want to change. The people are the reason can make the price of Bitcoin will be high or low in future. And behind the normal investor, the whale are one of the important roles to decide the Bitcoin value.

Currently most of peoples thinking this is going to touch 10000$ so its not bad at all as we have many countries with soft policies and good investment can do this but whales are very important in this case as they can change any trend very quickly common peoples can impact also but not like whale as he is trend setter in any field

Only one month since the prediction and bitcoin already got very close to 8000 and I will not be surprised if Bitcoin reached that price before the end of the year, sometimes I wonder how much time it is going to take the world to recognize that bitcoin is not something that it is going to go away if they keep ignoring it, bitcoin is here to stay and its value does not stop increasing which mean that more and more people are getting bitcoin.

I think that in fact we may see 10k bitcoin before the 6th month which would've been about april time, it would not surprise me one iota to see bitcoin at 10k some time in december or january given how quickly it recovered its position after segwit2x cancellation

Unfortunately bitcoin is too vulnerable that the whales are too influential than a common user. Undoubtedly the number of bitcoin users has increased a lot and is persistently increasing, here a matter of concern is that with the interest of a common man in bitcoin some new whales has entered to the bitcoin market as well. They have a lot of new tricks to manipulate bitcoin price and snatch bitcoin from weak hands. This situation is frustrating for a common person with a limited life saving investment and can lead to switch to the altcoin. In such cases it will not be possible for bitcoin to survive even.

For me it is not a bad say if bitcoin should hit $10k in the next 6-10 months, as you said the price has broken the level that I expected it to, before the end of October. It shocked me when bitcoin passed up to $7500+ at October, so $10k is fully possible (only if it doesn't exceed).

Yeah and no one expected that we will see this high price so early and may be $8000 price was predicted at the end of the year but now things are looking good and even bitcoin is moving in positive direction so I don't there will be any difficulty in achieving the 10000 usd price in coming days and that is likely to happen by the end of the year.

Yes, $10k is aproachijg fast! In a month or two we might see it relfect in the pricing. $9000-9500 by December is within the grasp. 2018 is the year were Bitcoin will be adopted by most establishments.

Agree, as basis in the previous value in the market, you can see that bitcoin price are raising quickly. So we have no doubt that bitcoin value reach $10,000 after 6-10 months. Moreover I agree also that more capitalist are attracted to invest in this crypto because of good and beautiful performance of this coin in the digital industry. I agree! If you base in previous month of September, it's nearly $4000 range of value and now it reach in $8000. It increase in $4000 within two months, how much more in the next 6-10 months! I think, it's gonna be worth $20,000 if it will keep on increasing its value. I'm pretty sure that many investor will invest before the year end because as they've seen good outcome when they invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin is really a tremendous coin and can guarantee you that you'll really earn high amount of profit in a short period of time.

While a ban it is always possible what kind of excuse they are going to use to do it, what I mean once wall street gets in bitcoin and most money in bitcoin comes from official sources like that the excuse that bitcoin is used by criminals is no longer going to fly they will need something else to make bitcoin illegal and a I see no way they can do that realistically at the moment.

It is interesting when someone is actually right in making a price call. I have to admit I would have never thought it would be possible at the time the post was made. Moreover, his call was even not enough optimistic, as what he guessed took only one month, instead of six to ten months.
