Why do you need to invest them? You can just hold those 2 Bitcoins and that is an investment. You will probably be wealthy in about 10 years if you just hold them. Anywhere you put them besides and offline wallet and you are risking losing them. Don’t trust exchanges with much of what you have. If you get into trading, just use a small amount of your Bitcoins. You could diversify a little by buying some altcoins, but I still suggest that you keep them in a wallet where you control the private keys.

I second that.

While it may be incredibly tempting to add even more profit on top of what Bitcoin could potentially yield, more often than not you're going to lose money. There are a lot of "investment" options out there, but most of those are just trying to extract money from their "investors" in one way or another.

Buy neblio before it rockets, current price $5.83 or 98,000 satoshis, this will be a $1,000 token one day, you heard it here first, they are similar to ethereum except the platform lets devs use multiple coding systems making it more mainstream for Devs, it's also a proof of stake coin offering 10% a year in extra tokens and the team though small is responsive and well ahead of the curve compared to most other new ico's.
No one is selling these coins and they are only on one exchange atm (cryptopia) though there have been announcements that they are being listed on another 2 soon.
So by my calculations that everyone is hodling these and that they may become very desirable in future with icos launched on neblio = 20,000% returns by end of 2019.
2 bitcoin = 2,000 neblio, even if neblio only reaches $30 (very conservative estimate) then you should make $60,000 + 10% a year if staking, no brainer my friend.
If it reaches $1,000 by end of 2019 and I think it will then your 2,000 neblio will be worth a cool $2 million dollars plus the 10% interest, phenomenal.
Forgot to mention they burned over a 100 million unsold tokens in ico and the total coins are only 12.3 million. (Scarce)

How did you make the two Bitcoin? Is it that you bought them or how? If You bought them for investment purpose then I will advise that you should hold it for a long period of time for that alone is an investment. Though, you should have it at the back of your mind that whatever investment decision you take especially when it come to crypto currency it has its own risk. Try and weight the risk involved before you invest your Bitcoin into altcoins in the name of investment as others advise you above.

You can hold your coins, wait a few months, and then come back and check the profits? that could be quite the investment, don't you think? who knows, maybe by the end of year or in january the price goes up to 10.000$ (just an example). Honestly, I would recommend you to keep your coins for a while and think it through, "hold your coins" can be the safest option for an investment, otherwise, you're risking a lot of money just because you think you might get even more.

If you want to game, do it on something that takes skill as well, never base your winnings in luck. I think two bitcoins is a large amount of money, if you are not familiar with the investment, you should keep it.

In my opinion invest in Bitcoin 60% and ETH 30% then other 10% for others altcoin or make invest in ICO . This portfolio to minimize the risk. I think make investment in BTC and ETH is more safe than others coin/ token.

well since you are already in the trading board posting this question then why not invest in trading?

start with small amounts and take a look at the altcoin market. try learning how they move up and down. start investing in some, trade them and see if you can make a profit. in time educate yourself more about trading in general, technical analysis is also helpful if you learn some of it, and gain more experience in general too.
finally you won't be needing to invest bitcoin in anything other than yourself.

why are you investing bit coins my dear friend just hold it at least 10 to 15 years then you get more profit from that know. most of the people trying to buying bit coins so you just hold it few years. after you can invest. otherwise now don't take any further step. present in the market bit coin price going to high. so don't leave it. after 10 years you have to invest it. if suppose you get profit from that then that amount also you have to keep in this then have more chance to get profit.

Why do you need to invest then you can just hold it and let the price increase. Invest in the risk of being stolen. My advice to your friends is better than this. You can also earn here when you hold your bitcoins via Air Drops such as BCC (Bitcoin Cash) and BTG (Bitcoin Gold).

10 to 15 years is so ridiculous holdings and if you count your age by that time I think you will get old for waiting on that year to come and also we doesn't even know if the bitcoins will last for 15 years time spand and much better for that to make our staking more valuable is to hold if the fud/hype or whatsoever we could that is occuring or if there's a simple fork like happening since by that we can earn some huge money.

Two bitcoin is a lot of money and you can just put it into your cold storage and watch them grow due to interest that they earn from the rise in the price. If you think that is very slow growth then you can put the money or your bitcoin into altcoin portfolio which is having top three to five alts who can rise in the price in future. That you can find yourself and make right choice.

There are also sites which gives you interest on keeping the bitcoin into their wallet, example freebitco. But it’s all about how much you trust them. Many ways but you can look for one long lasting

I think tou should buy different profitable altcoins like xrp and ltc. Those two altcoins are really profitable and we can get a lot of profit by holding them in a long time.

Diversify your portfolio hold both altcoins and tokens, buy tokens during ICO or after first day of their listing on exchange platform where most of the bounty hunters will dump their free tokens.

Don't hold all assets in one exchange platform or wallet, use multiple wallets and take great care about security of your fund.

In this case doing nothing would be your best investment.

Title: Re: Where to invest bitcoin?
Post by: mobnepal on October 27, 2017, 08:08:10 AM
You should hold atleast half bitcoin to buy some alts at cheaper price whenever they will be dumped more.
Use half bitcoin to buy different alts that have high marketcap and trade them on each price swing to make daily profit.
Invest another half bitcoin in different ICO which have good potential, don't just believe in their claims make your own research on the project and their concept.

Exchange half bitcoin for fiat and hold it or trade with that amount with target of getting 2-5% profit every day.

You hear about a scam or tow and poeple lose thier trust in every kind of investment, it is true that there are a lot of sam sites but one must not invest his money blindly he must study and look for other poeple's review before doing so, so as far as where to invest there are a lot of option either you could invest in peer to peer sites where you give money to people to get their project started and in return you get some intrest, you can try mixing sites where you get dialy interest, but make sure you look up reviews on whatever you are about to invest in and never invest a large maount until you are sure it is legit.

there are two options avilabale if you are in search of earning profit the easy option is to hold your coins with your self for a time when the rate of bitcoin is increased too much from the present rate then you can sale them and can earn enough profit and  the other option is to invest your money in some ICO's but you should clear that identify the original working ICO's because there are various scammer also.

Well i recommend to hold 75% of your holdings and trade the other 25% to altcoins. Don't trade all your btc why ? because for sure in the future bitcoin will become more valuable, hold it for good bitcoin is the future. Well just trade with good altcoins so you would not waste your money. Invest on what you think is more convenient and safe, think twice.

Dude, that two bitcoin would already be a good investment in itself. Many people are dealing with only btc since the price movement is pretty good and is predicted to remain so. It's going to be riskier if you trt to put it in alts

How about investing your profit to something else other than using your own capital or Bitcoin ?
Lately it's very hard for us to find a legit project, and only a top cryptos that can be considered as a legit one.
But right now it did not show a good sign, which mean the price more likely will be dumped hard by whales to accumulate it or other reason.
Just hold your Bitcoin and convert your profit(from chain split) to Bitcoin and use it as a capital for your start.
Just buy top 5 cryptos and do not move your Bitcoin, because in the next future you will get another profit from it again.
I think that is the best strategy for our current market and for you absolutely

Rather than investing its good to keep hold of the bitcoin in the wallet. Profiting is assured, as well the risk is low. Need to give importance for improving the security and it gives a feel of being in our hands. Investment is like placing it an a third party storage hoping for profit but nothing seems promised.

Well if you are a newbie I would suggest you just hold these bitcoins because you will just lose them when trading. If you don't care about the loses and you can afford it. Just create an account on bittrex.com and send them your bicoins. After that you can invest in some altcoins, they are much more volatile than bitcoin and you can make a lot of profit or lose a lot. You can also exchange these bitcoins to ethereum and start investing in some icos.

I think of holding of bitcoin as far better option than that of investing of bitcoin. Investing of bitcoin can help you earn money but there is a risk factor as well. So, if you want to play a safe game then you have to go for holding of bitcoin and that for quite a long period of time. This will help you earn a very good amount of money as the market price of bitcoin will for sure rise high.

Good, you're ready to man up and take some risks, a very few people are willing to do that. To start with, you can trade with altcoins. They are very risky but at the same time profitable also, it differs from coin to coin and market position plays a key role in it. Start up your own business by selling some of your quality services if any, that's what Is really really best in the Long run. Or just random suitable investments should do.

You can also invest some part of your investment in some upcoming unique ICO which you think can grow in future. I would recommend you to invest in XAURAM GAMMA and XENIO coin. Both of these projects can really grow in future.

I would consider Bitcoin itself to be an investment ;D . The speed in which Bitcoin is rising these days is quite remarkable and it would be better if you just hold the amount you are having at a secure place. Any wallet which gives you the private key can be considered safe.
If you wan't to invest the BTC into Alts then you can try diversifying the coins to ETH, NEO, OMG and such potential coins but be sure to do a research on your own before investing any amount. As I said investing in Bitcoin would be better option because Altcoins these days are not seeing a significant growth and hence investing in them would be a risk taking decision.

Title: Re: Where to invest bitcoin?

My suggestion:
Keep one bitcoin somewhere very safe and don't take it out before a few months, as this would itself earn you some money eventually. And, invest the other one on very well-traded altcoins in the markets. You can do your analyzes by some reading and watching the market movements. Just understand the basic things of trading and go for it when you think you are ready. Don't invest the complete Bitcoin if you are not confident. Start with a small portion to try if you can really make it work, and if you can't, you better keep both Bitcoin in a wallet and don't touch them if you don't want to lose 'em.

Title: Re: Where to invest bitcoin?

So the best investment would be the cryptocoins itself if you are ready to invest over there. Buy the coins which are having bright future and are able to give you returns which you are expecting from your investment. Something like Ethereum, LItecoin, Ripple, Zcash, and bitcoin itself. You can also invest in stocks and gold if you dont like the cryptocoins. If not then try to invest in Real estate sector and invest in the deals which are still trending hot in your local city of your country.

I think you just made two different suggestion of different ends of nodes. Thats not right suggestion for the OP to have. You can either tell him to focus completely into crypto trading or tell him to set up business with his money and earn in the form of bitcoin by accepting crypto payments.

You better start with alt coin trading by putting your bitcoin (not all) into few of the elected alt coins in proper distribute ways, they call it as portfolio. Make it, hold it and grab the profits, just like that!

If you have 2 bitcoin s in your wallet its better to invest it to the altcoin like ethereum and waves coin and for sure your money will become double or more in the next few months. But its better to invest more altcoin because 2 bitcoin is big amount and for sure you will buy more 10 altcoins plus if you want . Goodluck sir I hope your bitcoin will grow. If you are experienced you can try forex or stock trading on 1broker. You may buy Apple or berkshire Hathaway stocks.

Otherwise you can buy cheap altcoins and wait for their rise.

if i were you, i only use 0.7 btc to trading and save the rest of the btc and waiting the higher price at $10k or other high price. i think with 0.7 btc, we can increase the amount with choosing the right coins and make the profit. with 0.7 btc, i can choose more than 5 coins right now because the coins is still in lower price so i am sure that soon the altcoin price will be increase again. we can use the rest of btc as our long investment and not selling if the price is not increase for the price we want.

So if you are having two bitcoins then the best area of investment is Cryptomarket itself and Stock market. Cryptomarket will be the best one if you are really passionate about it and if you have a good trade plan for both short term and long term trading then i am sure that you can get good returns. You can also do the same thing with stock market and forex market where you can get good and stable returns for your investment. Other than this you can go for Real estate and building offers and contracts, where returns are really good within short span of time.

Why you going to invest another things... Just hold bitcoin for long time and get profit after some time. Just you see bitcoin price recent history its always increase every time. So why you going to move from bitcoin, Stay Bitcoin, Is always profitable.

But If you want to move another things then you can go trading with altcoin if you have good knowledge about trading. Buy Some good altcoin like, Waves, MGO, Decent, Stratis.

Thank You

Nice to know you have two of the much talked about bitcoin  ;D

If I have two, I would keep one in a safe wallet then invest the other in altcoins. I sure with this, you will be more financiallly successful.
Good intentions these are. Never put everything in one thing even it is bitcoin, because you main target is to make more profits.

Bitcoins are supreme in this case, still you must diversify your investments in different businesses so that the profit ratio must be more than your expectations. Buy altcoins with one bitcoin, and keep safe the other one, amazingly you going.

You can invest your bitcoin in buying the other coins such as altcoin or tokens altcoin such as central councillor zcoin monero ripple coin, etc or you can invest your bitcoin buying token during the time of ICO or you can invest them in the stock share markets for better profit.

Bitcoin itself is an asset! Do not lose your bitcoin. Holding bitcoin is a sort of investment too!
There is no way that we can deny this fact that bitcoin itself is a wonderful investment. There is nothing more profitable and beneficial in my point of view than that of holding of bitcoins and that too for as long as you can. You only need to keep your nerves under control and that’s all. You will keep on earning more money with each passing day. I think of holding as the best investment.

For most, just buying Bitcoin when it's a little lower than the normal, and holding the coins would be a good idea but not for the faint of heart.
If you're more adventurous, then go ahead and buy altcoins when they are low in value and then trade them up.

Turn your eyes to the financial industry ICO(s). This is the best implementation of blockchain nowadays in business. Check such projects like: Bankera, VVTokens and stuff like that.

Now maybe we'll be hard enough to see the bitcoin price go down. one of the best alternatives is to buy some Altcoin, you should be able to see that how an altcoin will evolve because not all altcoins have good prospects. so keep an eye on every move that occurs, the slightest statement will usually affect the bitcoin price in the future. the more we pay attention the more our chances to make a profit.

That's why its really hard to be a successful trader because you need to spend a lot of time to watch how the price is moving specially you have to pay attention if its going in your favor. So it you are still a rookie trader, its better to try it at altcoin section first and get a feel of the market, observed the price movement and see where it goes. If you think you have the guts then you can moved to bitcoin market as you gain confidence.

I would advice you to diversify your portfolio between popular and progressive altcoins like ETHEREUM, MONERO, LITECOIN and RIPPLE as these coins will surely grow in future and you can earn huge profits by holding them in the long run.
You can also invest some part of your investment in some upcoming unique ICO which you think can grow in future. I would recommend you to invest in XAURAM GAMMA and XENIO coin. Both of these projects can really grow in future.
.

I think investment on bitcoin is not a good decision now. Because it is so risky and scam are available. Why you want to invest where you can easily earn huge profit from holding. Holding is one kind of investment, i think it.

Holding your Bitcoins is also a good way to earn profits as Bitcoin has alot of potential to grow.

My suggestion is to invest your bitcoin in altcoins but choose those who have a high volume because some of them are just shitcoin. You could also try to invest it in some business offline like buy some shares. There's a lot of ways to invest your money but choose the invesment that you have already knowledge in order to prevent loss.

Your right investing of bitcoin into trading sites and altcoins are the best way we do, but make sure that the altcoins you choose is more potential than bitcoin. Because if you invest to the altcoins with lack potential, maybe it's better to hold your bitcoin in the wallet than to invest it.

Although there are variety of ways to invest bitcoins but the popular and profitable ways are trading, mining. Trading is the best option of all to invest and to earn good income, but first you need to know about trading and market before starting it.

if i were you, i only use 0.7 btc to trading and save the rest of the btc and waiting the higher price at $10k or other high price. i think with 0.7 btc, we can increase the amount with choosing the right coins and make the profit. with 0.7 btc, i can choose more than 5 coins right now because the coins is still in lower price so i am sure that soon the altcoin price will be increase again. we can use the rest of btc as our long investment and not selling if the price is not increase for the price we want.

I would not randomly suggest someone to trade man. Have you tried trading yourself? On one hand it is easy, but if you do not know what you are doing then you are asking to lose your money. 0.7 Bitcoin is A LOT these days. It is nothing to play around with. I suggest keep it in cold storage for safe keeping and you will be glad you did in a few years.

Better divide your bitcoin and invest into 4-5 stocks. I suggest also to put some funds in nem for long term. Buy and hold.
There are many ways of spending your bitcoin and the one you have mentioned is also not bad. You can withdraw your bitcoin if it has reached the targeted amount and buy some shares of famous companies which will in turn keep you giving great money.

Moreover you can buy some precious metals like gold and diamond, they also have potential of producing some good profits.

Buying as many bitcoins as you can and that too at the time when the market price is falling down and then holding your bitcoins for as long period of time as you can is really a very good option.

For long term purposes i guess its quiet efficient way and most effective way to get profits in the long run. It is also best that you should store your money first before doing some trades like altcoin tradings, you also need to realize that you should have knew what you were doing, or instead accept the fact that you will just throw away your money.

Everywhere which is profitable? I think the most profitable place for investing bitcoin is buying more bitcoins, because bitcoin is most profitable coin business in this day.

No other business or service is so much profitable like bitcoin and it is also more reliable and secure from all other online businesses. Therefore my suggestion is to invest your bitcoin I buying more bitcoin and make money in less time. Your attentions will also be in one place.

Anywhere you want because bitcoin is like a regular paper currency and you can use it anywhere in the country. But my suggestion to you is that you must wait for some time and when the price grows more than you can use your bitcoin for your future dreams.

The most favorable use for me is in the future when we don’t have any job and can’t do any more work. Then we will need money of our own to spend the rest of life comfortably.

May I suggest holding onto one, put it away in a secure wallet and revisit it next year when we should see a significant price increase.

The most exciting or interesting thing to do is research some altcoins and split your 1 bitcoin maybe 10 ways and invest 0.1 in 10 different altcoins once you have made your mind up on which ones.

Good luck.

It will help you in earning a very good amount of money at the end. All you need is to sit back and relax no matter what the conditions are.

There are a lot of ways for you to invest your 2 BTC, in this forum you can use your Bitcoin to invest in ICO projects but be careful when you decide to invest in any project cause a lot of ICO projects are scam. Out of this forum you can use Bitcoin to join trading, gambling,....but I think you only should invest in trading cause it's safer than gambling and also a fast way to earn but you need to have trading skills and experience to start. Moreover there are some lending system you also can invest in but it's a kind of HYIP system so do not invest your money in these systems if you don't wanna lose you money ;). That's all.

I agree that investing on any ponzi sites is not an good idea but I don't think there is anything wrong in investing in any altcoins if you have sound knowledge of it as majority of people are making best profits by investing in altcoins and you will loose money in it only if you take a wrong move so if you are knowledgeable then there is no worries in investing in altcoins.

If you ask for my opinion, I will suggest you to keep one bitcoin in your wallet and sell of other after the hard fork so that you get good price for it. Sell it when it touches 7000 dollars. As far as investment areas are concerned, there are many good options. You may set up your own business especially that of food or clothes. I don't think one bitcoin is not enough to start a business or for real estate,so it is better to keep in your wallet as it is or you can invest this bitcoins to buy miners then you can mine bitcoins which is also a good method of earning but in my point of view it is better to hold your 2 bitcoins in your wallet maybe in 10 years the price of one bitcoin will be $ 100K so at that time you sell it then you can start a busines or you can do whatever you want.

You have explained one of the best methods of investment in other form of cryptocurrencies. I think that trading in the form of bitcoins and altcoins can earn you a lot in return if you make some seriously wise decisions at the right time. The other way is to use your bitcoins in the small scale investments so that they could add to your earnings in a gradual way with a result of larger amount collected in the end.

Holding is a risk free method to earn profits in long term but the only issue with holding is that it will never grow your bitcoins so its good to invest some of it in trading or in any ICO to multiply it faster as more volume of coins will give him more profits when price will go higher but if he don't want to take any risk of investing then holding is better option for him.

You could diversify a little by buying some altcoins, but I still suggest that you keep them in a wallet where you control the private keys.
yeah right bitcoin it self is an investment so you dont have to invest it,with the price of bitcoin now that continues to grow.theres no need to go anywhere but to wait for its price to grow more and then take the interest.thats what im doing now getting interest day by day t

I agree on this. Before when I was new many are keep on suggesting me that I should transfer my bitcoin funds to other altcoins. But since way back that time, I'm not comfortable that I don't know what I do. I'm lack of knowledge about trading by that time. And this is also my observation that bitcoin's price is increasing very quick so we had to simply hold our bitcoin and not necessarily invest it to different altcoins.

Holding back the bitcoin you have now, is itself will bring back more profit than investing the BTC into something and profiting bit. If you still would like to go for an investment, better use half of your BTC. You can be on a safer side.

Bitcoin is a digital currency system it can be convert in to altcoin and we can transfer first bitcoins funds to bitcoin to altcoin process and bitcoin to FIAT. The bitcoin rate was increased day by day so better we hold only the bitcoin wallet itself also so only invester get more profit so better we hold the bitcoin itself not invest in others .

It would be best to just onto bitcoins only considering the amount of rise it is gaining. but if you want to invest then invest in top 10 coins to be on the safer side like ethereum, litecoin, dash. but make sure you don't cut short on BTC always consider giving bitcoin maximum percentage of your portfolio to be on the safer side.

I consider bitcoin an awesome speculation itself. On the off chance that you are having bitcoin in your wallet, at that point there is no point of putting your bitcoins in some other sort of business. Truth be told, you ought to go for holding of your bitcoins and that for as drawn out stretch of time as you can.

It will help you in gaining a decent measure of cash toward the end. All you require is to take it easy regardless of what the conditions are.

Yeah I agree that investing in bitcoin and holding it can surely make you a lot of profits. But we still can't deny the fact that diversifying your investments into many altcoins, not just investing solely in bitcoin, can let you earn even more than what you will earn in just holding bitcoin. That's why trading is proven to be more profitable. But this also depends on the person doing it. Of course you need the right knowledge and techniques in order to become an effective trader.

Investing is an initiative to make more profit in the future. So it is not bad for you to find new ways for you to invest your bitcoin out of something new, we should also think for the better so we could have the best decision we could ever have in time for us to have more opportunities for the better form of your earning out of your bitcoin. But it is true that you should need to try first before you invest a lot of your bitcoin out of other crypto-currency or altcoins.

Since you have your capital in Bitcoin then itself is an investment so consider it in that way. However, it is not recommended to hodl every egg in the single basket and hence maintain a certain amount in Bitcoin and re-invest another part of the fund in Stocks, ICOs, Alt-coins, Commodities in a diversified way and do spend as much as time in order to research about these investment options before making any investment decision.

For someone holding 2 bitcoins earlier this year, at worst at the rate of $800 should be holding nothing less than $16000 right now (imagining the correction gets as low as $8000). That is a lot as far as I am concerned. As long as I am not vast in every other area I may want to invest, I try to discard them and concentrate on the less risky one like holding, until I am sure. So many people have lost their funds in ICOs, Alts or trying to lay their hands on trading without learning where they are putting their funds. Further investments are good, but it is important to always try as much as possible to learn  before going further in any form of investment, but at least, with holding of bitcoin, it is a guaranteed less risk and stable investment.

We always look for more ways to make more money and at the end most people are not always smart about their investment decisions. Like you said, holding bitcoin itself is an investment and so many people who did are having a nice time right now.

The thing is, if you are not sure where you are investing your money, don't ever invest it there. Most people try their hands on ICOs, trading and so on and they have regretted the decision because they did not take their time to understand the environment at which they are trying to invest.

What do you mean by that question? If you want to invest Bitcoin, you do not have to transfer anywhere. You just need to collect Bitcoin, and keep it in your virtual wallet. Keep it for a long time, for example: a few years. And when the price of Bitcoin has gone up so high, you can sell your Bitcoin and you can get a lot of profit from Bitcoin. You do not have to send to various ICO or other online business. Moreover, to send to HYIP or similar investment programs. I think it's safer and more definite. That's just my humble opinion. Correct me if I am wrong.

Bitcoin (BTC) is a decentralized cryptocurrency payment system designed by Satoshi Nakamoto. The software-based currency was released to the public in 2009. Since then, updates and improvements have been made by a network of developers, partially funded by the Bitcoin Foundation.

It was not until 2013 that Bitcoin became a hot topic of interest. The virtual currency gained over 300% from 2011 to 2012 and since August of last year, Bitcoin has increased in value around 400%. While its recent performance has been lackluster, (down around 34% since January 1st), venture capital firms and investors around the world continue to bet on the cryptocurrency.

In the first 6 months of 2014, venture capitalists firms made Q1 investments of 57 million and Q2 investments of 73 million for a total of $130 million placed in Bitcoin, an increase of almost 50% from last year’s total of $88 Million. Interesting to note, back in 2012, Bitcoin firms were only able to raise $2.2 Million. Despite the price decline this year, the cryptocurrency continues to experience growth in both users and merchants that accept it as payment. So how can you be part of the action?

Investing in Bitcoin for the Average Joe

The simplest way the Average Joe can invest in Bitcoin is to outright buy some. Buying BTC today is simpler than ever, with many established firms in the US and abroad involved in the business of buying and selling bitcoins. For investors in the USA, the simplest solution is Coinbase. The company sells BTC to customers at a mark-up that is usually around 1% over the current market price.

For Americans, Coinbase has an option to link your bank account to your Coinbase wallet. This makes future payment transfers easier. The company also offers automatic bitcoin buying at regular intervals. For example, say you want to buy $50 in bitcoins every 1st or 2nd of the month, right after you get your paycheck. You can setup an auto-buy for that amount on Coinbase. Take into account a few caveats before you start using this service. If you issue an automatic buy order, you will not have control over the price at which the BTC is bought. Next thing to note is that Coinbase is not a bitcoin exchange, you are buying/selling your coins directly from the firm, which in turn has to source them from other buyers. This creates issues or delays when executing orders during fast market moves.

For traders that want a traditional bitcoin exchange, BitStamp may be a better option. With BitStamp, you are trading with other users and not the company, which only acts as a middleman. Liquidity is higher and you can almost always find another person to take the other side of your trade. The fees start at 0.5% and go all the way down to 0.2% if you have traded over $150,000 in the past 30 days.

Other Ways to Buy Bitcoins

Exchanges are not the only way you can acquire bitcoins. A popular route for buying BTC offline is with Local Bitcoins. The website pairs up potential buyers and sellers. When buying BTC, the bitcoins are locked from the seller in the escrow. The seller can only release them to buyers (in case of a problem, file a dispute after 24 hours). When buying bitcoins offline, you should take the usual precautions as you would when meeting a stranger. Meet during the daytime at a public place and if possible, bring a friend.

The Bottom Line

Bitcoin is hot right now and investors and venture capital firms are betting that it is here to stay. For the average person, numerous ways exist to get into investing and buying Bitcoin. In the U.S., the most popular avenues are CoinBase, Bitstamp and Local Bitcoins. Each have their advantages and disadvantages, so do your research to find the best fit for you.

Such matter could be looked over from different perspectives depending on how you earned your 2 bitcoins .
First , how did you acquire them ? If you just bought them i'd recommend that you keep them in an offline wallet ( and please avoid exchanges as they can turn to be scam at any given time no matter what good reputation they have  ) .
Keeping your coins will certainly make you get a decent margin of profit especially if you bought them before the explosion of the price and bitcoin reaching more than 6k dollars .

Secondly , if you invested money or got involved with trading deals , well that payed off and you gotta just keep what you're doing considering that you are doing it pretty well . Investing those coins in other alts might be beneficial too especially if you're investing in mass volume alts that are useful such as Ethereum or LTC , not just shitty coin based on a joke not a real project .

I'd go for the safer way and hold them if i were you .

The best thing is for those who cannot trade, or probably diversify their portfolio to hold some alts just as you said, it is best they leave their funds in their wallet and watch it grow. What is the point anyway taking huge risks when holding bitcoin itself is an investment ?

I do not think that we need to move to any other place, i think that we should stuck to bitcoin right now, because in current time bitcoin is the best option for investment, in fact bitcoin has more potential than any other altcoin to increase its price and on other side bitcoin is getting a very stronger support from then investors which is also making bitcoin more stronger and safer for investment.

In my opinion invest in Bitcoin 60% and ETH 30% then other 10% for others altcoin or make invest in ICO . This portfolio to minimize the risk. I think make investment in BTC and ETH is more safe than others coin/ token.
I would not recommend contacting ICO now. Since taking into account all successful projects, not many are traded at the price of ICO.

I think if I were you, I will hold that two bitcoin and I will send 1 bitcoin to exchanges and sell it when the price increases higher. after my order is filled, I will make a buy again the bitcoin and I will do this over and over. I am sure that if I can analyze the price, I can make a profit and I can also increase the amount of bitcoin I have. I think if we can follow where the price go, we can take a good profit because the different of the price buy and price sell is big so our profit will come to bigger too.

i need to invest them
I'm looking for where to invest
Any recommendation

If you have 2 bitcoinBTC I suggest you must hold 1BTC in a long term then the 1BTC must goes to invest in different alts like Ethereum, Neo, Trx, Tky, Xem/Nem, and Utk then hold.

I choose to be four altcoins,,1,)bitcoin is my (KING COIN) one of my favorite coin and also first and most used.
Dash, it is based on Bitcoin and has some added features like, coin mixing to improve privacy, and instant transactions for over the counter use.
Monero, because the blockchain has transactions signed by ring signature, so it is more difficult to find, who signed the transaction.
Ethereum is my (QUEEN COIN)and will be next after bitcoin, these are my favorite coin to be hold
think about this

Just make it a bitcoin. Bitcoin only. You can win a lot by bitcoin. Besides, it is a bull run right now and it will continue up to May. And might go subside again and go up. HODL BTC.

It is up to you to decide but I would recommend to wait for some period of time as being patient you will be able to earn more. I prefer holding Bitcoins until it has good price. Or you can ask experts of the financial market who follow the innovative trends regularly.

you can invest in coins that have very fast price movements and have a very large volume of coin, or if you want to play long term then you can buy coins whose prices are very cheap but do not get too easy to panic so you do not lose.

I think you should not trade, invest in bitcoin at this moment, you can see that bitcoin girls in the past days are constantly fluctuating and difficult to guess, now bitcoin price after touching the $ 9800 level has already adjusted to 8700 $. I think bitcoin has ended the bull run in the short term and has come back to its bearish cycle so you should not invest in this stock at this point.

That's right. Instead of taking the risky move that could make your two coins vanish. Why not just be patient and hold them, and then, get rid of it for profit when the coins up in value even more. Or, you can just hold it as a contingency, so that whatever happens in the market, you have some something big under your pocket that you can use anytime either as money or as a means to give you other assets to use to invest in projects. Having two Bitcoins is so significant nowadays, so you need to be smart with the mate.

has two bitcoins of course a very big value for me, and you can actually invest by buying other altcoin that have a fast price movements and a good potential for you to save with the long term, we invest or trade must have patience and not to experience panic when the price of coin you buy decreases, so do not you sell your coins when the price goes down, if you do not want to lose.

I would suggest holding both of them at least until the end of this year. Bitcoin is just 10k dollars at the moment while it is expected to become worth 30k dollars in December so why not waiting a little longer and grabbing big profits. Selling out now can become a regret in the future. These two bitcoin can even make him millionaire within next three years. Holding is the right thing to do for now.

You can use Bitcoin to buy other potential Altcoins to increase the amount of Bitcoin you own. Or you can look for great potential ICOs to invest in them. But I think you should hold your Bitcoin for the end of the year and then sell them, and redeem them early next year,

Some people in this forum are truly crazy I swear🤔😏 how can you be advising someone to hold their Bitcoin for like 10 years are you crazy? Why should you hold your Bitcoin for like ten years? Unless you have nothing to do at all, even if you don’t have nothing to do in life one or two years is already enough for you to hold your Bitcoin or altcoins.

By the way, to the op– you don’t invest Bitcoin, rather you invest into Bitcoin. Unless you mean where you can trade with your Bitcoins, maybe you can check out Binance, though they are not allowing frequent new user registrations.

Perhaps you are new to the Crypto market. This is a basic knowledge, but you may not know that you should learn more time to invest in Crypto. This will be less risky for you.

If you have bought some bitcoins and that you want to make some good earning because of that investment, then the best thing to do to make all your dreams come true is to go for holding all your bitcoins for as long period of time as you can and that you need to keep a good control on your nerves and that you need not to lose your patience in every situation and to make some smart decisions.

I think the most suitable place for investing and storing bitcoin for the long term is in a place of exchanges that have a very high trust and in exchange places that have high trading volume, because with it your assets are stored safely and you will definitely get the benefits very much.

I also do think that the best investment here is picking other altcoins. Just make a simple exchange and pick the alts that are the most promising ones.

A lot of promising coin in this forum, we can't predict in a future which coin will be overtake on fiat money but my analysis bitcoin is the most efficient and has a potential one than other.Better to buy a lot of coin because I believe it will take a good profit when the prices will range higher. Bitcoin prices regulates at certain time because of fluctuation and demand on the market.

if you want to profit a lot I think choose an investment in ICO, because in ICO can buy cheaply and also get a bonus, or you can choose coins that already exist in many exchanges such as BCH, BTG, BTD and Ethereum

And ICO price is always cheap but most of the project now are cheaper after the ICO as some may dump.
Know what you are doing by making a research, you can find good project that dump after the ICO and you can buy them cheap, that way
you will have a good chance to maximize your profit.

maybe it will be a good choice if we invest our bitcoin into the ico project like Questat said but we need to find which project that will be a success in the future. but we still don't have any clue about which project and at least we can find it by reading their whitepaper and their plan, make a discussion with the dev so we can decide if its worth to join with them or not.

Cointellect and other cloud minings.  The user invests his own funds in cloud mining ( he invests bitcoins in production computing capacities), due to which he receives interest from his own deposits. On different cloud minings, it is possible to receive from 5 to 15% a month from own investment

I think it's better to invest bitcoin in ICO which has a very good project because only investment in ICO alone which I think provide guarantee and provide benefits in the future if the project has a very good product.
