I am thinking of investing a little amount in cryptocurrency. I want to invest $100. I am also thinking of doing trading sometime with that money.
Which coin will be the best for investing with $100 ?

i think invest to ICO sounds promising, there are many with good project and great team, like AION, PAYCENT, ANKORUS, and SISA
SISA tommorow Nov.13 will be available to trading in HitBTC, pre-ico was ended last month, but ICO will already start at Nov.20

Pick one project and all in. Your capital is way too low to diversify, in my opinion you may diversify later when succeeded on your one pick. Better participate in an ico with your 100$ and you will get equivalence in tokens + bonus. If the project get success then you can generate profits from hodl. It's not an easy task to find a good ico as well. Start trading with this small amount can not generate a lot of profit and risks to loose value that you can't hold more than one crypto with 100$.

OP, if you want to keep your investment safe and don't care about the time it will take to get profit a lot - buy some btc and that's it. If you are willing to try luck on very fast profits - invest in Dash, I think South Koreans (who pumped bch today) are starting to pump it <b> right now </b>. Of course, buy the coin on bithumb and keep there for 10-20 hours and then sell. Even if the coin is not getting pumped today, it is not that bad and at least you are unlikely to lose money. Well with $100 you should probably try investing it in ICOs as they are pretty promising and are great for short investment.But they are risky because many of the ICOs are scam so you got to be carefull investing in one.Also investing in ethereum or litecoin can also be profitable as bitcoin will most likely drop due to cancellation of Segwit2x so there are great chances that others coins will increase.

Do trade bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ethereum and you can consider some popular altcoins out there in the market, if you want ICO the only problem for that is not all of them are good project some of them are made for the sole purpose of scam or money making project be wise on this one, do an effort for the research and read their white paper, trading is highly recommended though the risk is there but you probably profit if you learn how to game the trading properly, always spread your card if you are not confident enough on a single coin.

Ethereum classic would be good investment for you, it is actually a alternative for bitcoin, if bitcoin will fail or invest that money in very undervalued coins like primalbase or kin.

To be honest $100 is not an big capital to invest but you can invest in altcoins that have low price but has potential to grow in future and I would suggest you to invest in Digibyte and Waves as its price is very low now and both of them can rise much higher in future so if you invest in it now and hold it for next couple of months then you will be definitely making good profits out of it.

Not fan of short term investing I would rather long term. For long term, I suggest you to invest in Monetha and forget it like a 1 year. The team behind the project is great and they working hard right now. Nowadays, coin price is relatively cheap. It has a huge potential It would not be a suprise if this coin make over 2-3 dolars  a year later.

I am investing in the AMB. Was a steady grower, now is experiencing a dip - so good time to get it. It is a great project which will be around long term ( U.N backed with funds from the Swiss government).

$100 is not a lot to invest in this cryptocurrency space, so I would suggest investing in a few promising ICO's because you could make a 1000% gain and then reinvest your money into more stable coins like bitcoin and ethereum. Buy half a Bitcoin and Altcoin (at lower prices), then wait. First begins to rise Bitcoin, and then capital out of it will spill over into the Altcoins and their price will go up much faster than Bitcoin.

I'd recommend investing 40 in ETH and 40 LTC (and when Bitcoin goes down further the rest in that but it's currently declining so keep an eye out!). These three are featured on Coinbase which is the most user friendly for new investors. It's good to have a diverse portfolio and ETH and LTC are strong coins with still relatively low prices.

You'll get too many different answers on this. It depends on your goal. Are you planning to hold for long term or looking to trade? If first then just do some research and find one that you like. I wouldn't chase those cheap and risky ones. I would get 0.3 ETH with $100 and I would save it for 2018. You can easily make 2 or 3 times return after a possible ethereum price rally. Very possible. But the amount of money is somehow small.

Well you can have a good profit when you invest in litecoin. You get the double back and you get way more coins than investing in a stronger coin who is expensive most of the time.

Im not sure if a $100usd investment will net you anything to be honest. If its just for fun and hoping you hit the lottery than i suggest you find a promising ico to invest in. Also with trading is possible if your really good at it, but you will definitely need to make some good trades and build up your capital. That would probably be your best choice if you want to see some quick profits and gains. But if your just throwing 100 dollars and forget about it, invest into bitcoin would be your safest choice.

One hundred dollars is not very much, for me.  I would invest in a coin with a small trading volume which would normally make it more of a volatile market.  I would make sure the market volume would be large enough that one hundred dollar trades would not affect the price too much. I think that investing and holding Bitcoin would be your best choice right now as Bitcoin is showing tremendous amount of growth right now and looking at the current trends, even higher value of Bitcoin can be expected in coming years.
