That is the mistake an experienced trader might not do but you did it. You shouldn't have sold at that moment because it was only a rumour of bitcoin cash.
If you want to recover your loss and want to earn even more, you need to watch on market and buy when it falls down in value.
I hope bitcoin should again fall below $500, then it would be better to buy.

What happened to you right there was a perfect example of a 'panic sell' case wherein you feared of going deeper in loss rather than believing that Bitcoin would rebound back and this is a consequence of your own decisions. Bitcoin is known to have made a strong come back everytime it has dipped by a significant amount so you just need to judge by having an eye on Bitcoin's price often to make sure you're making maximum profit at your sell.

When a huge price drops happen and you are scared of losing you money that will cause you to panic and will decide to cut your loss. Honestly, you can't stop panic selling if you trade cryptocurrency with emotions. That's not the right thing to do, you should think of it as an opportunity to invest more in a discounted price as many as you can. If you want to know when is the right time to cash out, you should always look for latest news about Bitcoin and make your own analysis, if you think that the price of your chosen cryptocurrency will crash then sell it.

Yeah, that was a big mistake on my part,I just couldn't imagine what would happen if I loose more and impulsively withdrew all my coins,I'll again buy some when the prices drop as you said and won't repeat the same mistake again.

Dont be in hurry. Wait for the perfect time where you will earn a lot of credentials. Its a big mistake when you got low earnings because of some rumors spreading. And be responsible for your self that you will not tend to panic selling.

always read peoples opinions like here in BTT or in the Youtube trader channels because you will know what's the situation and what is the possible way to do for these times but don't rely in one article or advice because that may be a fud maker so always seek the majorities judgement so that you can come up with a good decision, when you heard that the majority of the miners and investors are drawing back from btc then you should think twice in hodling so that you may cut your loose, always control your emotions and don't listen to the gossips that btc is a bubble BCH is the true btc and it will dominate it.

Patience is the most needed traits in trading. You need to have tons of it for you to be profitable here. I understand your frustration when Bitcoin price dropped to $6000. Every traders are experiencing the same thing. The moment that you panic is the moment that you'll lose.As for your question about when is the right time to cash out,it depends on your goal. If you are a short term trader, once you reached the desired profit, you can cash out immediately and if you are a long term trader, it depends on how many years you want to cash out your coins on a profitable price.

Why were you so nervous? it's not like Bitcoin was going to crash or anything. Next time something like that happens (a sudden dip in the price) don't give in to 'panic sell', take a moment and look around for btc news, read posts, threads, social media, just so you have an idea of what's going on. I also recommend you to keep up to date with the current news so that you can be prepare for whatever is coming in the future (possible forks, network related issues, etc).
right time to cash out? depends on what your goal is (short-term profits or long-term investement for higher profits).

The right time to cash out is when you are in your target profit and not to sell at lost as a result of panic of losing your capital. You need to have faith in Bitcoin for you be afraid of altcoins buy it shouldn't be Bitcoin because its has a greater future ahead.

That is a normal mistake when you are dealing with bitcoin. The dips in the cryptomarket are huge, and it's hard to deal with them. There is a lot of speculation surrounding bitcoin, and most people still don't know if they should call it a bubble or not, so every time they see these dips they think it will be the death of bitcoin. Thing is, that BTC has been proving us wrong over and over again. After these big dips, the coin recovers and eventually sets some new records in price, becoming stronger than it was before.

It's hard to trade bitcoin, I would say that if you just hold your coins you will probably be just fine. Of course that we all want to take some out of the price fluctuation, and right now, I will try to buy at the dip, and them hope for a rebound and sell a small % for profit, and keep doing it, as the price keeps increasing. Note that I'm only doing this, because I believe in BTC. I think it will have global acceptance, so it's price it's still low at the moment. I'm buying at the deep simply, to get more coins for long term hold at a better price.

Well that's a lesson learned for you dude. One thing you have to understand is that among all other altcoins, btc has the most and strongest support. So if the price drops like that, the worst thing you ca do is to panic because its mot going to take long before bitcoin bounces back even stronger

For me, the right to cash out my bitcoin  or at least some of my bitcoin is
First when I need money. Why? for me, even though bitcoin price fluctuates still I have chance to double my money if bitcoin price pumps.
Second is when my target price is reach. Even though the bitcoin has a more potential to pump I will still convert some into cash. At least the bitcoin left has may double again or increase and get back the money I cash out.
Third is when bitcoin price pump into a much bigger price instantly. For me, after that instant pump, it the next thing to happen is the crash or drop or whatever you call it.
It is normal to make mistakes. We learn from it, so the next time the same situation happen, you / we know what to do.

That is called as “panic selling”. Thats the first and last mistake people do in the bitcoin trading and loose their investment very easily with a little bullish thinking. I have seen so many people around the internet/forum who complaint about the bitcoin that it is volatile and its not giving profits. I have seen many times that people are arguing on the volatility of the bitcoin and they blame its decentralised nature. But one should always remember that its not about the bitcoin but its all about the our mistakes! We tend to fall for stupid patterns and o the panic things as you did here. But we can learn form such mistakes and try to get in line with it. Now there is time when I don’t even look at my wallet even there are bad times for the bitcoin because I know it will re-enter with its original price and will pump further more.

Invest that much of money what you can afford to loose. I think you have invested a good amount of money and that is for the first time in the cryptocoins. Start investing with less money, spend some time on cryptocoin market , grow your experience and then you will be less nervous. Don't just panic and sell.

Cashing out btc is not a big thing to be done right now. The price on the growing side, based on which its good to hold the bitcoin expecting a good profit. There is nothing to be a right time to make use of bitcoin, maybe it's good as majority of the experts have predicted the price to be pumping much higher.

Sorry for your loss since you did easily panic and sell off your stash on lower prices which is commonly happening on most newbies since we dont still know on how bitcoins price do behaves on this market which it do drops but later on it would recover and would possibly reach up new heights. For sure this mistakes would really make you learning and for next time you wont able to commit such mistakes again and again.

This happens only when you watch the market and try to do trading, if you have some target then just put it and forget it because in bitcoin anything can happen. When you were selling their are users who have believe in bitcoin bought it and today you can see the price. That is why it is told that when ever their is correction take it as buying opportunity.

If you are bitcoin believer and you think you want to earn big money with it then always remember the cash out point is after two to five years of time. Bitcoin is shit investment for small terms and it can never get you profits, a good amount of profit. What you did was your mistake and you should not repeat it agin. If by any small chance the bitcoin falls to below your current sell point then I will advise you to buy more bitcoin Tham last time and don’t think about it for a year. You will see that they have been grown from beans to fruits in no time. This is not philosophy class but a reality platform which is being proved again and agin since the year 2009. Now what to add more into it I don’t understand, its already best for long term.

For me, the right time to cash out is when you see that you investment has already earned your target profit. If you see that the price is down don't sell your bitcoin because its just a temporary price and for sure it will increase again. And for you not to feel nervous everytime the price is down, just invest the amount that you can afford to lose. And ofcourse it also the right time to cash out if you really need your money but if it's not badly needed, just keep your bitcoin.

You don't trade that way and you have to make your heart stronger for now. Learn from that mistake that you are panic selling, first don't be a panic seller. When you see bitcoin's price starting to decrease, you have to be calm, away from the charts, from your computer so that you can't see that your investment is starting to lose. Bitcoin is a good long term investment, you invest today - forget it - get back to it after a year or more.

Well one of the first things that is really important to be able to do is try and remove your emotions from your decisions, you mentioned that you were fearful of losing money and having such an attitude will always hold you back in your decision making. The same can be said for the fear of missing out (FOMO). All of your decisions need to be taken with a clear and rational mind and that will enable you to have a much better chance at succeeding. It is important that you learn from your past decisions and constantly evaluate and improve.

Think about it alone, why you didn`t wait? There are two big reasons for that, one is you didn`t have trust in bitcoin second you are not patient man. With this two things nobody can`t help you, you need to do it alone. You need to learn that and practice that, and believe me nobody here can`t tell you exactly time when to sell or buy, I know that you wish that, but that`s impossible. Practice your skills alone and you will be much happier in your life, relay on yourself more then on others!

I believe that this would be the right time to cash out some little portion of your bitcoins, but only with the intention of buying more in case there is a correction in coming days, since the line of $8,000 could seem an important psychological level for the events of previous days.

But if you decide to continue holding, it is also a brilliant idea.

The right time to cash out is when bitcoin value  is expensive so that you profit a big amount Just like my sister said $40 today then after an hour the price of her coin become $1200 dollars in just an hour.so l found out that bitcoin price is very important to monitor because bitcoin price value  of your coins may multiply 10 times to 20 times.Bitcoin for me now is the best because bitcoin gives the best income, profit and earnings. That the time of bitcoiners can have their benefits to be rich because of volatility price of bitcoin.Holding bitcoin also is required then sell it on the right time to to increase the value  of bitcoin.Bitcoin holders has the chance to multiply in a million because the equivalent of their bitcoin is is very big amount when bitcoin value climbs to a expensive price.

For last couple of days we have seen bitcoin rise back after the hard fork cancaling news, which had a massive impact on the price, and with the correction around the corner many would suggest to sell right now to avoid any loses, i personaly thin you sould wait and see what will happen because a lot of pople are looking forward to bitcoin reaching 10k before the end of the year and they want to push it to that point, so there will be a high demand a demand that will push the price, so holding it for me is the best option, but who knows this is the cryptocurrency market it is unpredicitbale, but it is better to be safe than sorry, you will always have a lot of chances of selling but a few chances of buying.

The old mantra generally holds true: Buy when others are fearful, and sell when other are greedy. Most people have the same psychology as you. They wait until the market is bottoming in a fearful capitulation before they finally sell near the bottom.

It's much better to sell into strength when the market is euphoric, then wait a couple weeks/months until sentiment has turned. Then, after the market stops buying and bagholders are jumping in front of one another to sell, you can be there to scoop up all the cheap coins.

This is the only way to handle a bull market IMO. You need to be buying the dips, not selling them.

I do not think there's anything you need to regret because it's happened, and you do not have the confidence to invest in bitcoin, and whatever you decide is best for you, and let's just say it's a valuable lesson not to panic about doing things because often makes us regret later

IF you are talking about trading, then there are three possibilities of when you should cash out.

1) If you made a profit. If you make a profit, then you can cash out and take your winnings. This is the best possibility.
2) If you need to stop your losses. Sometimes the market will go down and you will need to cashout to stop your losses. This is not optimal, but it happens to the best of us.
3) If you lost almost everything. Maybe you will lose everything. Then you will need to cashout your spare change in your account. But sometimes you won't have enough even to cover the fees to withdraw, so you would be left with nothing.

You can't go too far wrong with acting on the absolute opposite of the emotions you're feeling at the time. That's what successful traders do. If you're terrified and desperate to sell you should hit yourself and buy as much as possible. If you're euphoric and selecting Ferrari colours, hit yourself and sell.

This is generally where I'm coming from. Buy when there is blood in the streets. Sell when everyone thinks they can buy lambos next week by holding a couple BTC. :)

One caveat: This applies to Bitcoin, and by now, it might even apply to Ethereum. But when it comes to most altcoins, you need to be very aware of the fundamentals. If the market drops 80% in an altcoin, you better be checking the ANN threads and finding out why.

If an altcoin market is that bloody, there are often major fundamental reasons why: devs exit scamming, protocol failure, etc. In that case, do not buy when there is blood in the streets. :P

Whenever you cash out it depends on your own, if you already benefited from your trade, then you can cash out whenever you want. You are too quick to judge, you should be able to relax a little and not to fear and panic when a big dump occurs. investing in bitcoin is no doubt if you can be patient a bit. The bitcoin price will still go up and now you regret it.

I’ve made this mistake in the past. Sometimes you just have to invest and then not look at it for a few months. If you panic buy and panic sell you’re going to miss out on gains. Cryptocurrencies are high risk investments and there will be volatility so you need to invest money that you can be willing to lose if it goes bad. This will help you be able to buy and hold long term.

With Bitcoin, you are most likely going to make money if you buy and hold for a few years even if the price drops some during that period.

Should you doing trading is just for passive income ( long term investment), it will makes your emotions in trading activity to be cool and it will not be nervous because of the fluctuation of price and you must use iddle money in trading activity, don't use margin trading from the exchangers.

This also happen to me when I am new on cryptocurrency ! I feel like when it started to go down a bit it will go down to the very end ! however traders don't think that way dont ever cashout unless you already gain an earning hold on to your coin and wait until it pump again

New to bitcoin trading will face these kind emotions until they used to these high price fluctuations. Also, it is better to put some stop loss in all trading and if you reach that level then should sell and buy back later. But OP has waited for a long time buyback and prices already reached to 8000. Now you can do is don't buy all at once instead buy in smaller quantities then you will get a better average price per bitcoin.

Typical newbie trader or hodler, always selling on lost. That is not how you do it. If you want tips, just do the opposite of what you did. Buy when the price is falling and the whole world is panicking, and sell when the price surges too high too fast and the world is buying. You should have a strong hand when you are losing, it is bitcoin you are trading. It always bounce back.

All the new comers do this mistake once in life at least. I personally made such a mistake when BTC price dropped from $6500 to $3000. I sold my coins on such a low price but beside regret I learned a lot. We saw a few drops after that but I never sell my BTC in a drop season. I always wait for my selling target and today is my day. ;)
No one can ever help you in it, learn to control your nerves and then everything will be fine believe me.

I would not really say that. One thing I am sure of is that every single person always learn from their mistakes and no one is above it, most especially if you do not have proper knowledge about what you are getting into in the first place. Not everyone was patient enough to study bitcoin's trend before getting in and all they heard was bitcoin would increase without understanding how the volatility works. At a point, since they have refused to learn from other people's experience, then, they just have to learn from theirs which I believe the OP or those in his shoes will never make again.

Thank you.
I'll make sure I am up to date with the bitcoin news and always analyse the current situation and would make a better decision from next time

You really need to cash out if there is a significant drop down of the Bitcoin price and in the news if there's a threat of Bitcoin starts losing major investors. However, you really need not to panic because as you can see Bitcoin is too big to fail and the price is keep on increasing. If you are not sure, just withdraw it and put it in your wallet for the mean time and observe the trend again and monitor. But for me, don't be afraid and look at the brighter side of trading Bitcoin.

I think you are still new in the game. Experienced traders will buy a lot on that moment instead of selling and cashing out. If you want a long term result then lock it in a nano or trezor wallet instead of exchanges.

The price of bitcoin has entered an unstoppable uptrend and it is difficult to predict when it will stop. But it will never be a bad idea to eventually make some partial cash out because this market is so volatile that we have continually seen corrections that can make the price fall to 30% or more, ideal moments to buy.

First you say that people need to cash out their coins at the time the market drops significantly, which is similar to panic selling, and a horrible decision, and then you tell people not to panic directly after that. In other words, you tell people to exit the market when the price goes down, and then tell them not to do so. So what do you want people to do exactly? ::) If the market is dropping significantly, you're basically too late to dump, so the only thing that makes sense in a situation like that is to just keep holding, and/or to use the funds you have left to buy at discount levels, and thus lower your overall buying price. It's basic market logic, but yet people don't seem to understand it.

the right time to cash out is when you have a good profit and have a enough balance to cycle. and when you really need the money that you want to cash out. be sure that before you cash out that you checked the inconfirmed transaction on blockchain.

There is no general right time when to cash out, there is unique case for every user depending if one needs the funds or not, has he invested in Bitcoin or earned it.
It's hard to calculate everything but it's important to avoid the loss at the moment you are cashing out but don't react on any price dump, that could end up realy bad. Remember there is a price pump after every dump and try to keep cool head.

In the business world you always have the right time to withdraw money when you have a good profit.

But Bitcoin has a bright future and can raise the value a lot.
Some economists say the value of it could reach $ 100,000 by 2020. If this is true you will have a lot more profit if you wait.

See what's best for you, but you better win than lose

Patience is the most needed traits in trading. You need to have tons of it for you to be profitable here. I understand your frustration when Bitcoin price dropped to $6000. Every traders are experiencing the same thing. The moment that you panic is the moment that you'll lose.As for your question about when is the right time to cash out,it depends on your goal. If you are a short term trader, once you reached the desired profit, you can cash out immediately and if you are a long term trader, it depends on how many years you want to cash out your coins on a profitable price.

Great advice. It's a rollercoaster that always comes back up after the drop. Goals are the way to go. Cash out when YOU feel is best for your desire. Of course, there is always more money to be made.

If you have been holding on a coin and the coin make a new high in price, It is a strong indication that a dip or breathing is eminent,You can cash out at that time and wait for the next entrance point which will be when a new low is established.

A common newbie mistake, if you have entered in the crypto trading world you must have a plan for it and one of that plans is your exit strategy or your strategy when to sell your Bitcoin. By having an exit strategy you by now would have earned a lot more rather than lose something at the end. Setting up a target price when to sell is one of the best ways to have an exit strategy. A trader should not be to complacent about the prices as they will always be subject to change.

Good point. entry/exit strategy should be laid out before you buy a certain coin. So that you will not get burnt and you when to exit. Because if you don't have a exit strategy you might lose a few indeed of gaining a lot. I also experienced this before and I was thinking what am I doing wrong. So I read a lot of strategy and I found out that you should also define you exit strategy.

That is clear mistake because you were afraid to losing your bitcoin. Being trading is very risky. why you do not think it's a good opportunity when the value price become low, because you can buy bitcoin at low price then you just have to wait to increase the bitcoin's value price so you can sell it at high value.l, so you can earn some bitcoin.

That is quite normal for a newbie (new to trading ) to panic and sell the coin. but I would like to suggest never sell your coin in panic specially BITCOIN. If it is altcoin I can understand selling at a meagre loss of 10-15% but never sell your bitcoin. do your research and at least try to stay in your trade for mid to long-term period. otherwise, you will lose money in future too.

I would say even on altcoins panic selling wont really be always a good step for you to made since some of them do really still acts like bitcoin when it comes to price movement and recovery later on when theres a sudden price decrease but this thing would only be possible on some alts which not all do have these kind of traits. Cashouting on the right time is a tough job but rest assured or having a secure profit taking always reap out above on your purchased price.

I think the right time to cash out is only when you need the money. If you are running low on cash while the price of bitcoin is down, you make the withdraw. But if you don't need much cash on you and the price is falling, you should not withdraw money. So, use your bitcoin, money and time according to your needs, not your fear or technical lose or your prediction (even if it's good).

Well you have learn your lessons in the hard way. Don't listen to FUD and they even bother to touch your bitcoins. Although its just normal to be afraid and nervous, but you have to think it in longer terms.

Now you are regretting your decisions, but later when you are in the market for long you will understand what we always says that its better to hodl your bitcoin for longer term and just be cool and don't be worried if the price falls back because bitcoin has already show us that is has the ability to recover. What you experience is panic selling dude.

Every time is the best time to cash out,
I actually choose to hold thing now.

It may grow higher
Every time is not the best time to cash out, most especially when you are referring to the state of panic. A lot of people have made this mistake so many times and that is because they never understood what they were getting into before even getting into it.

You can cash out if you need it for something you need to do, but when it comes to trading, you should never panic in situations like a deep correction, knowing so well that it would come back right up.

You panic sell because of the bitcoin cash rumor. I believe many of you sold it when the price is going down and some even bought more bitcoin cash watching it later go down in price. I saw someone post having 12 bitcoin and end up having 4 bitcoin left because of the bitcoin cash trade.  It happen to bitcoin many times, when there are rumors and bitcoin is going down, many are panic selling seeing the red candle becoming longer. If you decided to invest in bitcoin for the long term, you should just hold it and wait for the price to go back up. I believe you have learned from this experience and you would be a better trader the next time bitcoin price decrease again.

Agree with you, it depends on the current value of bitcoin based on the time of your investment and also if you really needs money it was ok to withdraw your bitcoin that is why it is depending on the situation of the owner of bitcoin.
Me i always withdraw my bitcoin regardless the value of bitcoin because my salary is not enough to sustain the needs of my family and bitcoin is the source of income which helps me to increase my revenue and by this i am not only able to provide the needs of my family of course bitcoin gives me savings for our future expenses.

You don't have to be nervous whenever you see the price of bitcoin dropping. That's a normal thing in crypto and by knowing that it's usually happening it won't push you to withdraw all of your coins.

And now you have missed a lot of chance to pursue more and since you had cut your losses the only thing that you have to do to get back is to buy again.

But you have to buy at higher price now and if you know when is the right time to cash out is if you do have to use it somewhere important or you are in dire need of cash.

I would not say we cannot determine when to sell, as that decision is based on each and every individual. I trade and I know when to sell and when to buy and when to get back in or cut losses. It is a normal turn of event and you can make that decision only by yourself. Moreover, it is not everyone that is into the HODL thing, and if I need cash, I can sell at any point. However, selling as a result of panic is something a reasonable person should not do as long as they understand that Bitcoin is volatile but you get to experience the best of it if you are patient enough.

Yes holding bitcoin is the right and easiest way to earn money because it gives us a chance to earn a profit while holding it and in terms of cashing out we should spend more time for it because the price of bitcoin is continuously rising even sometimes it goes down on which is the right time to buy and not to sell it.

Moreover, you are member and you should have spent a lot of time already on this forum to have been able to understand that bitcoin is volatile and if you had follow the trend for a while, you should have noticed this is a normal trend. However, I believe you have learnt your lessons now.

I couldn't agree more, you can turn your mistakes to a valuable lesson! "Buy low, Sell high" is much more complicated than it sounds ;)
Hopefully you have learned now, and have a more proper approach when things gets crazy on the market.

Yeah, that old mantra has been heard numerous times here, "Buy low, Sell high", but its easier said than done. How many of us is like the OP in the beginning? I guess almost all of us.

One thing though is that as you go on your journey you will really learn a lot of lessons a long the way, some may struck you and it will even guide you to make proper decisions in the future. Just don't give up don't be emotional and you will be fine as you mature in the crypto trading or investing.

Give yourself a target and sell it at that target, don't be greedy, more and more greedy will kill you because you don't have a stop point.

Well many people who are new to bitcoins or crypto market always tends to panic when bitcoins starts to fall and when it falls too down then bitcoin holder panic and cash out their bitcoins to reduce their loss but usually regret later when the price recover.Right time to cash out is when you really needed or you have made lots of profit as bitcoins will mostly always recover from the drop so holding is the best thing.

That fine, nothing to worry about it, just stay calm and see again your " stop loss ". If the price reach stop loss you have to cut loss and start again from beginning. But the problem if you don't have it ( stop loss ), worry and panic will become your. Simple thing you can do is close your laptop an d leave it, is more easier for us. Besides that, you need to learn again about the risk. If you don't know or don't want to know, just leave and never come back again. You can cash out any time you want but must profit ( only profit ) not the main fund. Good luck to you.

You need to have a proper target and a classification on the coins you hold (long vs short term) as no one really knows when the market will dip and get back up. For short term trading, a hefty 10-20% profit in a span of a few hours trade is a very good deal, anything above that is greed and can cost you to lose money, go below that and you will get dust amounts of profit. For long term coins, you can go on a "to the moon" mindset, may it be 100% or 1000% as you decided to hold it for a very long time due to its fundamentals. But it's essential to do your deep research if ever you hold a coin long term as you might be holding a project that would have no value later.

One coin I can suggest you to take a look at for long term is DeepOnion. It has a strong fundamentals with mods and devs working hard to make the core of the project as solid as possible. Their community is growing larger each day, with around 5k + members as we speak right now. It's on an early stage of development so new features are still coming in, but from they have right now, it's really a promising project in that sens. DeepVault (sort of a crypto hashing service), POS/POW hybrid and their game changing feature that's soon to go out, DeepSend. You can see more details about it in their official website: https://deeponion.org

If you are not sure, always only cash out a smaller amount instead of the whole chunk of your investment.
Do it slowly over time / the top.

one more thing if you sell more than 0.1 BTC then it will affect to your profit.

There is no right time ! Ffs you should think before asking this . You very well know that there is no stopping to the increasing prices of Bitcoin. So no matter at what time you cash out you'll regret it after some time. So it's better to cash out when you actually need it or if there is some emergency .

There is right time to buy a bitcoin because there is good price in all over the world ,at buying and  selling time only we cash out to bitcoin and price of bitcoin are also very high and it goes in future very high value and invester get much profit so they can cash out at anytime when the price is high.

It's up to you if you think the price of the bitcoin is enough to you , you can sell it so you can make profit. Because once bitcoin decrease you lose some profit. But be careful because they have possible the price increase also and if you sell your bitcoin and once increase you lose some profit too. But if you are undecided I suggest sell your bitcoin and other will be hold to make sure.

Itnis totally up to you my friend because the lrice of the bitcoins are high with $8000 if you sell it right now, you will get a big profit compared before. But my afvice is if you do not have something to buy and spend your money in, probably just patiently hpld your bitcoins for a while just have a courage to hold your bitcoins for at least a year. But if you really need a money if the price is right you can sell it right away no lose for you.

Op, selling at loss as a result of panic is the most dangerous decision for one to have make when it come to crypto currency trading. For you to over come te fear of losing your capital in Bitcoin what you need do is develop a positive mind and believe that Bitcoin market value will continue to increase day after day and not minding correction period which I believe is normal.

I think it's up to you. The right time to cash out depends on your decisions. If you think the price of the Bitcoin is enough for you to cash out then go for it.On the other hand, follow your instinct, if you think that price will be the highest price at that point and the price may be fluctuate somehow after that highest point, then follow your instinct. Just make sure to cash out a right amount of Bitcoin and be positive.

Quite an analogy, but the question is still unanswered; how do we know when there is a blood in the street? In my opinion we have to admit that there is no golden rule which need to be followed but we must contextualize every  trade. But there are some general things also like risk reward ratio and knowledge of fundamentals. So as per my limited knowledge and perception bitcoin is settling in present price range, which is prerequisite for steep rise.

The right time to cash out your digital money is when you need it. Those people who are unemployed they have only one source of money they always withdraw their amount into cash while those people who are doing jobs they keep their bitcoin in their wallet for getting some profit. They are sometime withdraw their amount into cash.

It’s simply he’s fault and I don’t see any advice to give him on this issue. You can’t tell him to wait for Bitcoin price to fall, because as I’m seeing it, I don’t even think that Bitcoin will ever fall in price, the price rate is likely to be making continuous rising.

I remember when BTC price rate was at $4500 and some guys were saying they will wait for it to drop back to $2000 or $3000 and then they will invest, but that didn’t happen, they never got the chance to, rather the price of BTC kept on increasing and now is at $8000+. Best thing now is to invest at this rate of $8000 and wait for price to go up to $10,000 and you will then benefit from it. Simple!

Did you sell your Bitcoin? Hope you didn't because it really reached $8000+ now LOL.

The right time to cash out is when you feel satisfied with that amount. Don't be greedy, don't try to call the top. Cash it out when you want to cash it out—when you feel comfortable to cash out.

I personally wouldn't do it now. $8000 is still far from my valuation of Bitcoin. Did you realize that Bitcoin market cap is nowhere near golds? Currently only 1/70 of gold market cap. I know that comparing Bitcoin to gold, or saying that Bitcoin is the next-gen gold might sound crazy to people. But hey if we only go "only" 10x from now, we're at $100,000 already! Surely wasn't a bad price at all.

Best time to cash out is when the price of your coin is at all time high because after this it will surely dump. That what happens to bitcoin, due to its volatily, it is easily affected by activities in the market that causes its price to rapidly increase and decrease afterwards.

Yes that is true.
Just dont back at the price.
If we need the money then why not, specially with emergencies.
I find it easier if I dont withdraw it all. Just a little part of the bitcoin I have earned so that I can still feel the increase in price every time bitcoin is pumping up. Just dont do it because of panics.

Yeah, this is typical panic. That's why newbies shouldn't trade with large amounts even if it is tempting as they can earn more this way. It is quite sad to be honest as everyone mentions same rule, to never sell when price is dropping and just stay calm instead of panicking, sad that newbies never listen to these advises.

Title: Re: what is the right time to cash out?

That is clear mistake because you were afraid to losing your bitcoin. Being trading is very risky. why you do not think it's a good opportunity when the value price become low, because you can buy bitcoin at low price then you just have to wait to increase the bitcoin's value price so you can sell it at high value.l, so you can earn some bitcoin.
That is a mistake most people after not doing their research will just have to learn the hard way at some point.

Rather than looking at the positive side of things, most of the newbies in the system always end up looking at the negative side and then they end up panicking instead of making the best move of their life to buy at a low value and even make more profit.

Well, it is one thing to make a mistake once, but only a fool will make the same mistake twice which is why the weak hands will have to get strong when the lessons have been learned.

The reason why most people panic really is because they do not even know the right decisions to make and if they have been very conversant with how trading works, I am sure no one even will panic with altcoin trading, let alone bitcoin trading.

Personally, I always set a stop loss for alts anyway as I believe anything that would make them go past that, I am getting at a better value. Bitcoin however, in cases of huge correction gives one an opportunity to buy low to make some good profit and I wonder why some people don't see that and ends up doing otherwise.

even we also try any new thing by investing our money and suddenly if it's giving loss we will withdraw our money. We don't listen to others suggestion because after losing money nobody will come and give. But once you get experience in this field you will not do any panic sell/buy.

Some characteristics of the Trend Reversal:
  • Volume traded reduces
  • Price fluctuations reduces i.e. stability in the prices
  • Volatility reduces compare to previous levels

Check for the Market Sentiment at this point and carefully choose the trend. Close the old positions and choose the new positions.

What happened is a common mistake for new traders. Its bitcoin. Whenever the price drops, don't think about losses. Think about profit and consider it a good time to buy. Bitcoin has a history of bouncing back really strong after a dip and with how popular and in demand bitcoin is today, a dip will not mean a crash. Its a precursor to another all time high

I don't think there is a right or wrong time to cashout/sell/dump your bitcoin. It all depends on your panic threshold. This is why most people advice you to invest only what you can afford to lose. When you do this, anytime the price goes against you, you are calm because you can handle any potential loss.

When you needed too because if you have a lot of money in your hand why cashed it all iut if you can just hold it for the mean time and let your money grow because bitcoins and all the other cryptos also grow. Me personally I used to cash out when the price is high of course no one wants to cut off theur loss if and only if they really needes the money which is I also encountered that. Because if you really needed the money whatever the price it is you will cash it our not unless you have an extra money. So probably gain more than spend more.

how much do you buy? if you can buy at $5500 then although its down to $6000 then you still have make profit for $500 but if you bought bitcoin at more than $6000 then the only thing that you can do is waiting until the price is increase back but you have another opportunity to buy bitcoin at lower price. i think you don't have to afraid if the price is down because the price will be increase again and nothing you can do except waiting.

One thing that can tell you is your experience.
Experienced trader normally more calm facing that situation.

Yes withdraw when already earning profit, and most traders got lose during trading because of panic. Selling when in panic will lose all your money. So it best control the emotions it will help you to analyze the market.

hmm i see more problem like you feel right now..
loss more because can't patient when trading , as a result more people loss more bitcoin or ethereum
and feel dissapointed.. why other people doing again and again ?
in trading , you can't take fast profit.. 100% can't i'm sure
and as answer your question , right time to cash out is when you can take 30-40% profit and cash out just your profit.. not your capital

That is personal for every individual. For some one was few month ago for some is now and other will wait little longer to cash out.
Think that maybe better question is when do we want to cash out, now when price is going up or in few month or years when price start to go down.

That is what we should do to avoid losses, if there is any profit then we should withdraw because if we will not withdraw then we might regret it because the profit can be turned into loss and that is the worst case of investing or even trading is to get some losses so as long as you can just withdraw when there is a profit.

In the turbulent market like Cryoto, I think you should keep your capital, so if you have more than 10% interest, think about taking profits. I have set goals too high so that I can not sell and then cut off my coin. Get experience for yourself.

I must say you have to work on your basics. There must be a lesson in trading courses that are online that you have to digest some factors that will be coming in front of you again and again and you know “dealing with risks” must be on top. You must appreciate and swallow this fact while taking a start in trading. Then I believe you wouldn’t be hesitating while making any trade in your life.

You're so scare about Bitcoin mean you have no trust in Bitcoin at all. I know the price of Bitcoin is very volitale but things are going with the posivite way not negative way .
Trust is the major issue of so many and that can only be built in any investment if you understand what you are into, you are well informed and then you believe that no matter what you are going to get the best of it in the long run.
Even though, a lot of people came into the scene believing that bitcoin is like a get rich quick Ponzi scheme and you are going to increase your funds later on, which is why they panic when they see something else happening to their funds.

This is not your fault everyone in this market is nervous all the time in case of trading. Choose best strategy and withraw only 10 to 20 % capital from your profit to rebuy again on dip. Hold 40% btc, 30% Altcoins and 30% USD. Because people sell alot with panic if thier is bad news.

Title: Re: what is the right time to cash out?

I think the right time to cash out is only when you need the money. If you are running low on cash while the price of bitcoin is down, you make the withdraw. But if you don't need much cash on you and the price is falling, you should not withdraw money. So, use your bitcoin, money and time according to your needs, not your fear or technical lose or your prediction (even if it's good).
People attach emotions a lot to their investments which is mainly why making some tough decisions is always hard for them since there is no knowledge to help them inform their decision making. Anyone who has been very familiar with the way bitcoin has been fairing from the onset would know that there is no reason to panic and you should only withdraw when you need the cash not as a result of panic.

It is just painful that most of you do not get to ask questions first before making such decisions and when you have panicked and made the wrong decision finish, you then end up dropping your regrets on the forum.

Actually this rule is so impressive but surely the thing that is of most vital value they have ultimately hard implementations. So is this rule, it requires more and more care and concern to be implemented as better as it could be.

Still nothing is impossible, this rule seems difficult but it can be done with best results if you show some real game to put your best and get maximum out of it.

It happens, as an investor I have gone through that phase but soon you realize that since you have faith in your investment there is no need to worry and fall for the pressure of panic selling wave. There was a time when I saw about 35% loss on my investment but since I had the research to back my investment, I kept going with it and within a few months, the same investment gave me 10% to 20% profit without doing any changes and hence I would suggest you, do your own research before investing and build the investment plan according to it (including entry and exit point) and act according to the same even in the worst conditions if you have faith in your research.

I hope your decision is to hold your bitcoin because if you see the pruce of bitcoin is already 9200 dollars . But if you sell your bitcoin 6000 dollars you lpse some profit. But if that your decision you will ba safe your money because on that day they have possible the price to decrease more. Better to make a wise decision on every situation because you are the one who only suffered or benefits.

There is one single principle that I am using in managing my Bitcoin portfolio. Do not cash out until it is urgently needed. Meaning, hold it. Do not get emotional and let your emotion control you when the prices are dumping. Every time Bitcoin dumps there will be a following increase in price that is much higher than where it previously came. So continue to hodl no matter what.

If you are not sure, always only cash out a smaller amount instead of the whole chunk of your investment.
Do it slowly over time / the top.

I think, the right time to cash out is when you need it.If there is a particular urgent need or emergency and there's no other way of getting money,   at that time keeping money in the locker is obviously a wrong decision. Otherwise, it is very fine to save money for as long as possible. This is what I do and what I suggest others to do.  We must not waste our hard earned money here and there.

You and I know that Bitcoin is not going to die, at least not in the next decade or two. You and I know that Bitcoin is still used by a very little portion of the world's population, the larger portion will potentially provide a fantastic number of Bitcoin investors. You and I know that Bitcoin have yet to reach its peak. Now, why would you feel scared if you see Bitcoin dipping at $6,000? And why would you sell immediately? The highest point is still unlimited for now so I cannot see any reason why we should be pulling out our Bitcoins?

yes that was right when in time that it was needed then you may now sell of it or if you have the target price then sell for but make sure you have some not all are taking to buy all of your needs try also to save then if the case that you already have sell it in your target price and just save so you may avoid the panic selling while you are thinking if this may your idea to sell or not if the coin are in the critical situation.

Controlling your emotions is the key and do not panic Bitcoins value is getting stronger and it is the most promising coin even if the price falls down it would recover eventually so you should be used to it on the movement of market. If you think you have already gained you can sell it right but it is best if you set a target percentage or goal on when you will sell your bitcoin so that you will not be disappointed.

Not having faith in bitcoin is what has really made a lot of people to make the selling decision even when they do not need the cash and then end up regretting later on. I am not surprised though, because I would not expect anyone to have faith in something they do not understand and that is the truth. Some people did not bother to even know the important things they need to know about their investments and then because of that they make uninformed decisions.

It is not the right time to sell your bitcoins because the price of bitcoin keeps increasing everyday you need to wait little long to have that extra earnings.I don't think bitcoin will dump now so it is better to hold your bitcoins.Don't sell any bitcoin because that small amount of bitcoin will be huge in few years.
In my opinion bitcoin will reach upto $25K by the end of 2018 So no one sell your bitcoins now.

But why you do cash it out if at the first place you didnt need it? you didnt need money right now because you still have money to spend? Try to think if you hold it more you can earn more. So here since first im really scared so i always cash it out but later on i recognizes that i do have a job and salary if still okay not to cash out then hold as long as i can or cash out but only small amount.

That is one thing that can never be done for someone who does not have adequate knowledge of their investment. It is actually a very easy thing to say to people to not panic but as long as they are not aware of some of the things that can happen anytime which also includes the risk, it would be like you were trying to deceive them one those times come unless you sound convincing enough. My point is, selling is not the issue, but selling for the wrong reasons is the main thing anyone should not fall for as a result of emotion or panic.

It's never a good time or bad time to cash out but if planned well you can save certain percentage of bitcoin in different wallet so that you can cash that out whenever you need it in terms of emergency or so and  this could start by saving 5%  of bitcoin for cash outs and shopping  rather than waiting for rise in value which cannot coincide with your requirement everytime.

Obviously when the bitcoin is higher. Don't hesitate to withdraw when the bitcoin is getting lower, it is part to the marketing when it is getting lower. Just hold when the bitcoin is higher and buy bitcoin if it is getting lower. This is the chance to make better and higher profit to make sure of it, you need to sacrifice your guts and don't be scared to be a pro in trading. There is no reason to give up your money from bitcoin because the demand is always getting higher. We cannot say when bitcoin will shut down but for now let us enjoy and have profits in buying bitcoin.

Here I will say my opinion only. I myself choose to save and wait for several years. That's because that's when the price of Bitcoin will increase to 10-fold even more. When will I sell? The answer is: I will not sell. I will not sell until I have enough money, and the price of Bitcoin is very high and enough to realize all my dreams. My dreams are many: buy a house, manage a website, Ethereum mining or other cryptocurrency, buy a gaming computer, and make my family life prosperous. That's when I'll sell my Bitcoin. I hope Bitcoin price will increase drastically in the future.

You czn cash out out anytime but to be able to get a profit you should cash out your bitcoin when it is in the highest price.
This is the perfect time for cashing out bitcoin since it is above 8000 dollars at present and there are maximum chances it will further increase in value. If you are really in need of money, you can cash out bitcoin right now but if you want to have big money, sell off bitcoin by the end of December because there are maximum chances that it will further increase in value.

People said that it's better to sell when we reached the $5000 mark for the first ever time, and then $6000, and then $7000, but it turned out that these were not the "perfect" moments to cash out.

The same may apply to current levels, and far beyond. People are used to how things were before this craze started to boom, and it's safe to say that the previous factors don't play much of an important role anymore.

New money is flowing into this market constantly, and we're very close to opening the doors for institutions to enter this market legally. Current levels may turn out to be very cheap in the next few months.

we must do the necessary market research in every subject we are interested in and need. If a person is not playing golf, he will not want to buy it when the golf club comes cheaply. and he will not know the market of the rival.
so we do not have to know the price of everything. but it is very important to do market research to gather information for whatever we need.

Nicely put and that's a very good point. You can't always rely on other people on when it would be the right time to buy or sell since their situation may very well be different than yours. Their selling point may not be comfortable for you.

Bitcoin's price is very volatile that it goes pumping, then later it will start dumping its price. We can say that you should just hold your coins, and let it pump and dump, but it will never dump that low

Suppose You buy altcion around $5000 and when it will be a $5100 now your profit is only $100 if you want to withdraw your balance you can do that or if you want to more money you must need to wait for sometime then you sell your altcoin when you can see your profit is good .

I am still learning to overcome nervous when making a wrong decision in trading, because I think loss and profit in trading depends on ourselves. the most important not to panic easy to sell if you experience a loss, must always think positive and stay calm, so no one in taking the decision to sell or buy
This is the worst thing because a lot of the people are making the bitcoin trading just in the wrong way because the bitcoin trading is the only thing it needs a lot of the experience and the proper investment if you are not able to invest in the bitcoin then the only thing that will give you the profit is the bitcoin signature campaign so the bitcoin is high in the value it Is good to buy the bitcoin if you will invest you will hold the bitcoin.

Investments is your risk at all, then doing cash out anytime is up to you. We all know Bitcoin is not in a steady path, it may goes up then suddenly down, but recently this past few days, it gradually increases. Then asking the right time, it is a must because you need it for you to cash out, also when price is up, its a good thing but if it deeply lower, its not advisable, you' ll be at lost.

When price cross the previous record sell then otherwise holding more in that time will lead you to the more wait and I have been through that many time because greed is not good when your aim struck simply cash out no need to wait for the more profit because people sell their coin faster and this create and see the price daily to make a mind set to sell at the particular time this will help you in trading to earn good.

My cashout indicator is Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan.

In September he was saying that bitcoin was a bubble. But it now looks like JP Morgan will be offering the CME bitcoin futures to their clients. If they actually go ahead and do it, that's a sell indicator - when the last bear capitulates, the bull market is about to turn.

So many people have made this mistake a lot and that is the reason why not knowing the details of what one is investing in is very bad. This forum is not for decoration or signature campaigns alone, there are so many people who have shared stories like this in the past, and the problem is just to ask questions. However, like they always say, every mistake is an experience and we get to learn from it.

The right time to cash out is when you and only you feel so. If you feel it right to cash out and you just want that particular amount of profit then it's the right time. And of course never cash out when the price falls below that price in which you purchased. And only cash out when the prices are high! Never panic if tge coin you're holding is showing a decrease in price, instead wait for it to rise again and then you can sell it. And if the price of that coin rises further, you should never feel that you took a wrong decision. It's trading, either you have a profit or loss nothing else and always focus that you earned profit, how much? Doesn't matters!
Good luck!

I cannot tell the exact time when is the right time to cash out because trading is very unpredictable together with the price. The price of bitcoin now is very expensive, when btc price is expensive in think it is the right time to cash out but since btc price is unstoppable, i don't know if it is right time for now to cash out when suddenly in a couple of hours btc price increases.

The decision is really up to you. You may do researcy and make technical and fundamental analysis to help you decide. But the end of the day, Bitcoin price is still unpredictable. There are a lot of factors and reasons that may affect the price of a Bitcoin.

Maybe may tip is determining what kind of investor you are. A lont term or short term. So in that way, you can decide on holding on to Bitcoins for years believing it can be profitable in the long run or sell it everytime you think its going down (active trading)

When it comes to cashing out my bitcoin or whatever coin I had, the first thing that comes to my mind is always how much do I need and how bad do I need it. The thing is whenever we cash out coin and get a lot of money that is beyond our means, it just goes to waste. Why not just cash out what is needed and leave the rest for holding, that way when the price becomes higher you'll still have some.

The right time to cash out if cashing out is  your objective is when you reach your target price! Before you start to invest you must have had a price in mind! The price you have in mind is your ultimate profit!  I there should not be any regret if you sell at that price!

Cashout immediately after receiving  if you get BTC or any Altcoins through selling any products and service, as its not an investment, capital is required to continue the flow of product. This is basically if you use it as currency.

But mostly people now use it as investment, then its better to sell when you reach your profit milestone, or even you can wait more by setting new milestone. Actually Cashing out depends on your requirements. If you are in profit you can surely cashout if needed urgently, if in loss hold it more if and only if there is no urgency or alternative methods to fulfill your needs.

I think it is the time of buying more and more bitcoins and in future if you can understand that now you have earn more profit by selling your bitcoins then you can cash out but rememeber in future it is more expected that world will accepting bitcoin for payment and when its started then no one can need to cash out bitcoins because they will be can pay in BTC.

That isn't really a reason for you to cash out because you won't really know if you already earned that "big amount". Bitcoin's price is still increasing. So your best option is to just hold it. Don't pay attention to the constant pumps and dumps, just focus on what can happen in the long run.

If you were nervous and hesitating to withdraw then don't withdraw your money because bitcoin price is now increasing so that soon you will get a high profit. The better option for now is to hold and it might become more higher compared before. Even though it is in your wallet it will still gain profit.

For me,  the right time to cash out is when you think that it's okay to cash out when it is high value. Your only enemy in cashing out is yourself,  because if you  cash out early you will be disappointed because it's value is low and if you cash out late you will also be disappointed because the value also is low than the past. So,  i recommend you to trust your gut feel and accept the reality of your decision.

Seems you didn't trust bitcoin enough for converting too early. We all see bitcoin at its peak so nothing to worry about. Have patience and put your hopes into bitcoin. And I hope you've already learned your lesson.
It is all about patience, which most people obviously do not have. Most times, it takes some experiences like this for some who did not find out more or study bitcoin trend to use this kind of situation to learn that patience and not panicking are two major attributes every investor should have.

Once beaten, twice shy though. And one thing is, it is either you learn from other's mistakes or you make them yourself and learn from them.

I ve been thinking that now is the right time to cash out.
Not sure.
HODL First
If those are your thoughts, you may really want to have a rethink. Still, anytime is a good time to cash out as well as buy depending on each individual as long as they are willing to hold up to their decisions no matter what comes out of it. It is not everybody that wants to hold for too long and some may actually have been holding for a while now and they are willing to let some go based on some projects they may need to get done. That is what makes the ball keep rolling on anyway.

For someone who is really thinking of long term investment, this is really one thing to always look forward to, which is the future. Bitcoin is not a means to just make huge quick bucks and those who have been holding the coin all along knew what they had to stomach before even reaching here.

Nothing good comes easy, you have to understand the risk, stay as long as you can and then expect the worst but at the same time the best.

I knew it is really difficult decision to make in a situation like this but just to play safe you should sell your coins immediately if the value will reach equally to the lowest price you purchase your bitcoin and considered it an equally balance with nothing to lose then if it will reach lower you have the option to buy it again but if it rise up again then buy it as new base line of your investment at least you did not lose from your capital but only your time is wasted but that's the facts of trading. You will only sell your bitcoin in case of emergency but if not then continue hoarding.

The only and right time is when you feel you took everything you wanted from this market to move forward, leaving with things behind is the best idea to come back later on this market with unfinished business

Well actually, you could only cash out when you feel it is the right time having various reasons. Like you want to invest for your own business that may continue your financial aspects in different way. Having at least one bitcoin will change our way of living that we can buy a simple house and a lot which is one of basic needs then to have special foods of course. Also, can used the cash out money like having emergency purposes on the family memeber especially when it talks about life. Bitcoin is really important as dominant crypto currency that gives big help to everybody by having a profitable income.

This is individual for everyone, when to cash out. But many will be tempted to do it how cuz price is high and many have tough what if this is the highers price ever will ever go higher then that ......  and many other questions.

This could be perfect opportunity to cash out but many are gonna do the opposite and hold them.

So in other words, we only need to cash out when it is really needed like emergency purposes. And I think this kind of situation is based on true to life where everyone experienced this. It's good that we have this new currency which in times of trouble can withdraw at anytime at any place.

I saw my profit almost vanishing today.
To be safe and not rnd up with loss, i sold my bitcoins, waiting for the right dip to buy bitcoins again..
No that is not good. You are in bitcoin world and still you are getting loss for your savings. No, you must need some good guidance and learning for better analysis of prices and all that predictions. Still, whatever happened don’t be sorry over it. It just passed. Get some amount and wait for dip coming along the way. Just wait for it and then you will be getting maximum of it.

The right time to cash out is when you needed the money when you will not lose any money when you cash it out. Because you do not want to cash out and as a result you will cut off your loss, not unless you really needed the money immediately like an Emergency. But if dont and you still have enough money in your them just hold it bitcoins are pumping so stable in this time and cashing it out will just take away the opportunity to increase your money but it is up to you if you do not want to tale the risk it is both a win win decision

For me the right time to cash out is when the market is in good correction, and this will be usually happened during yuletide season or fourt quarter of the year. Because in this particular season some investors are truly believing the good market correction to happened and a great chances to gain more profit.

No one can accurately time the cash out moment. You need to take profit constantly at breakpoints that you set, where you think would be a right amount of return for your investment. One shouldn't try to time the crypto markets as no one knows which direction the price could go all of a sudden.

You know the bitcoin process and information. Bitcoin price is not stable it any time to down and up. So hold the bitcoin and wait for the price increase. Then sell it. It time to change. So time is important of this process. So check the market price everyday. Then get more ideas and information of the bitcoin price. If price will be down don't sell. wait for the bitcoin  price increase. If price will be increase sell the coin on time.

When we already earn a good amount of profit is indeed the right time to cash out. But the step will repeat again, we may wait for the market downtrend to start the new buy order.

Well, per what I see from your post, it seems you're not thinking about HODL for a long term. If you want to trade and cash our early, then I suggest that you an cash out whenever you get a profit (set a profit target, shouldn't be huge though!).

you should be calm under any circumstances, think of the right way out for every problem you face, from your case proven if you are in a state of panic, if you feel panic you can not decide the answer to your problem correctly, should you wait and see more further market moves further, because usually the decline occurs only a moment and after that there will be an increase again,

Depends on the trading strategy. You must have trading plan before buying ones so that you either maximize your profit or preventing loses in planning ahead.

We must first set the goal of selling the coin. For example, you are holding ETH, now they are $ 500 and you expect that the price will increase to $ 900-1000 at this price you will sell them, when the ETH reach this price you sell them Make money and make profits, even though the price keeps going up you still decide to sell at that price. do not too greedy expectations too high, then the market suddenly fell you will regret it.

feeling the fear of losing is a common thing that every new trader and experienced must feel. What distinguishes it is the action taken after feeling panic. by selling the coins we hold that can save us from losses when we buy them directly when the value is lower. there is no point regret, it is best to be a failure that is a lesson in the future.

You should set reasonable prices for sale, must have goals, and specific sales levels. So you can easily succeed in this market. If you buy and hold expectations at a price that is too high, you will not get around the BTC. So get a good sales pitch so you can easily take profit.

Cash out when it's high and don't when you're just feeling it because you may loose a very big chance of you earning alot of money when you hold it so don't let the greed get onto you.

When a huge price drops happen and you are scared of losing you money that will cause you to panic and will decide to cut your loss. Honestly, you can't stop panic selling if you trade cryptocurrency with emotions. Dont be in hurry. Wait for the perfect time where you will earn a lot of credentials. Patience is the most needed traits in trading. You need to have tons of it for you to be profitable here.

Now I don't trade daily because I can't see the point in it taking into account current stagnation. For long-term hold, I want to cash out after rates will be 150% of what I have invested. I don't believe BTC will make 300-500% of its current price someday

What I can say is that now, it is not the time for cashout. The cryptocurrencies that we are holding are cheaper than before, and we have to wait when they grow again and give us at least 30-40% of the profit.

If the price of your coin jump too much high in price then that is the right time to make some cashing out. It will surely going down after for a major correction where you can buy it again 2x-3x less than the price where you have sold it.

Actually candlestick pattern and price pattern of crypto can help to decide that.  Price pattern consist of continuously pattern and reversal pattern, and usually this analysis will be more accurate in daily time frame. Check also the market capatilization of crypto, that will increase or decrease.

No much thing to talk about here other than to buy at Dips and sell at Bumps. I feel studying the trend of market events at daily basis can be of great help especially to Day Traders. Whenever you buy any coin during probably bearish period, you tend to be patience without panic sales of any sort until you discover the bullish period for the coins to be cashed out. Best luck.

It actually depends on some several factors such as emergencies, pumping of the price that gives you enough profit, etc. Like for example, if a bull run occurs, you have a chance of a lifetime to cashout your profits due to long term holding. As for emergency purposes, we cannot blame them for that if they choose to dump. Everybody has their own reasons, and we have to deal with that.

It depends on you men if you needed the money then go cash it put not all of them just the amount that you need but if you dont need it now why cash it out right? So nothing is gonna stop you from cashing out especially when it is an emergency thing. But if you have spare money and the price is low then it is much better to hold it for a while because if you get it the loss will be lost forever. And cash out if the price is very high and there are some rumors that the price will go down any time soon.

Even though bitcoin price is crashing just keep holding. Time will come that it will recover. Patience.
But if a time come that you really need money but bitcoin price is still low and there is no other way to get money, don't hesitate to cash out. The important thing is you first resolve your problem.
Another thing I am doing is convert my bitcoin into fiat when the price is high but I do not cash it out. It will be my saving. I will only cash it out when emergency or I want to buy something.
