I am new to Crypto market. There are too many ICOs out there. How do one decide if an ICO is good or bad?

ICO is very different thing, if project is good its ico may not be good for investors. I just know few fair icoS in all icoS.

There are good and bad ICOs because more are coming out and its getting harder to pick them out.
Just do you own research and don't rely on peoples opinions.  

aha whut?  some ico's are promising and have a good projects but there were also bad. thats why it is verry advisable to to read and understand their concepts and their important info's like websites , whitepapers, roadmaps, etc.  to be able to fully understand their real intention.


ico's arent dangerous at all because they arent bitting. though some of them are likely to be scams, therefor you need to take extra precautions before jumping on an ico.


@op finding a good and legit ico these days is pretty hard and takes time & effort but i can only suggest to you is to look up in bounty/altcoin section and read out some feedbacks. if the ico has some good feedbacks then it'll surely be succesfull. gudluck.

Before you investing to an ICO you need to understand what kind of project they working on, you need to know the basic. Also make sure there real company you invest not a fake one

With my little knowledge I think its good to invest in ICO but because of scam out there many people are afraid of ICOs but you can still get good ones by doing research.

An ICO is good for me when it can give something for its participants.And as long as you will get paid for work you have done,then it is okay.And is not a scam then it is a good ICO for me.

First before investing in any ICO you have to check all the details of that project well like why they offering the coins and what problems will be solved with this project and what is the future of that coin and how long its will be and also check the white paper and the developer team of that coin.And there is lots of websites from which you can get good and reliable information about particular ICO. Second you have to check and research your self that is the ICO is scam or not. For that purpose you have to mind some things like, Scam projects will often make bold claims about their product even though said project offers nothing new or disruptive.If the whitepaper is full of these type of bold claim and buzzwords with no clear meaning, no actual tech is discussed and only high level descriptions are given, then this is definitely a scam.Check its team management how experienced and capable to handle that project they are.

All ICO can not be put in one category. So many ICO are really very good. The coin have real business , we can say they are good ICO.

To know a ICO is good or bad, first you have to study how to know a good ICO. you can find this on this forum, generally you have to research projects that you want to join as: what is product of project? who are Development teams? ......

There are many ICO's that are rising but considering there are plenty of scam ICO's too.But for me a good project would be something that supportive of its participants.

too many people get a true money in just a free on some iCO, so i can say that it is good.

The quality of ICO depends on the developer of the project, if they work well and as expected then ICO will be very good, but if they do ICO just to take Instant Money of course ICO will be very bad :D

for me there is one comment rule to  decide if an ICO is good or bad is how how much traction it is gaining for example if every one is talking about this one than it is really going to make it plus you can check the project's whitepaper  and see what idea it is build up on that can help you to decide if it is going to make it or not.

How to catch the right coin?

Marketing will help you find the people to see this project alive now can invest to make the money. But main thing if you open any ICO project that owner should open the project which is relevant crypto currency or not.
If you does not find the bitcoin related ICO please do not go to invest your fund in those kind of projects.

Yes there are too many ICO out there and ICO is also the chance for cryptoner to make 2x,3x or more profit but the bad one have spoil it. However, one of the way to figure out a good ICO is going through the team involve check their social media account github,twitter etc. Check the company they partner with, the country they came from and confirm the information they produce if it legit, after that check the ICO road map/white paper and if the ICO is register company that will more better but not all legit does that.

Well its true that there are too many ICOs currently, any newbie would easily get tricked into selecting the wrong one. You can't just say if any ICO is good or bad, people keep on investing in ICOs so the number of ICOs have increased. You just need to do some research in you want to invest in ICOs as there are some scam ICOs too. If you carelessly invest in any ICO you might lose your money. If you are not able to identify whether a specific ICO is good or bad i would suggest not to invest in ICOs.

First of all, you can check their details of whitepaper, their teams and also their plan. If you think that ICO is suitable for you, then you can decide to join or not. But once again, this is a cryptoworld, no one can guarantee which ICO will have best future. Even they have a solid team and roadmap.

there are so many ICO's out there now that it's really hard to decide which one is good and which is not. I completely understand your confusion and trust me it's normal. It's hard to forecast which coins will have future potenial but try to do the following. First of all read the whitepaper and determine if the idea and solution the project is offering is any good. Second check out the team, are they available on chats and are they engaged with the community? How are their past experiences compared to what they want to build. The ICO has to have good terms as well, fair distribution and a large user base/fanbse. If you're new to crypto world, straightaway starting with ICO won't be a good idea, mate. Depends on the project, some are good some are bad, the only thing that will help you further into deciding is doing research on the projects and people running them.

To be honest I have not seen one ICO yet, that grabs my eye, holds my attention and takes the money form my wallet. Far too many fly by night operations out there. I suggest to invest in an existing coin or token. However of course the best are yet to come I guess. And the big rewards will come form an ICO, sometime in the future.

For me ICO's are sometimes tough investments, there's no assurance that you will gain in return in the future. Somehow there are good ICO's thats really worth investing, the only bad side is when you have invested in scam ICO's thats for sure a loss and no guarantees.

You need to figure out, but decent coins will grow properly

Unless the project was a scam, it will take a while to know if the ICO you invested in is good or bad.  For example, I invested in the Waves ICO and in the beginning things weren't looking too good but today I am very satisfied with my investment and am glad that I held onto my ICO tokens and did not dump them.

I advise you to be more careful now. At the moment, about 100 ICO's are coming out every day and choosing good numbers is not so easy. Read the road map, white paper, look at the composition of the team. Good luck!

Ico is good . But not every ico. You can take risk, and you should careful always,  then you will success, So research which ico is best.

There are many ICO occurred recently so for me it's difficult to find good ICO. It's just like finding a big fish on the pond.
For me personally, I must observe about the specific ICO before try to invest it since most ICO will not last for a long term.

There used to be good ICOs last year and last two years. But for now there are more bad ICOs than good ICO. Any ways investing in ICO can be risky and can also bring you more profit if you do find a good one. So my point is in the ICO world research is KEY!

ICO is good for an honest team that has created technology and needs funding to create a working model and implement technology. But there was a situation when the team receives a huge amount of money for a beautifully designed white paper. After collecting money, the team has no obligations to investors and this is bad. Such a system generates scammers, and creates the view that there is a lot of scam in ICO.

Before anyone who want to invest in ICO, First they should do proper duedeligence on few standard projects

I think icos can be good for both sides. For the team to creat some money they can invest into their project and development and for the investors to get some cheap tokens.
It's hard to find a good ico as investor because you will never know if the team behind it can fulfill their ideas and concept or just run away. I think 95% of all icos aren't worth
investing in but if you find one then yes it's a very good chance to 100x or even 1000x your investment.

i think there are no good or bad ICO's , it only depends on how the ICO runs its project. If its succeed in the end .
