I predict Bitcoin will fall at 7k on December

You can't guranty in crypto currency . it already hits $10000. So if it fall on December no worries it will go moon again withing some days. Because this is the features of crypto to up down all time . but there is no prediction works :D

Support lines of Bitcoin is at $10,000 but somehow I also got a feeling that in may fall down. But, who knows? We just have to hope for the best. :)

Me, I can't see any reason why it would fall in December, some says, last year, bitcoin turns so much high last December and I think same thing will happen this year. And I think the reason why bitcoin price is rising to fast is because Christmas day is getting closer, and that is the only reason I see as of now. Or maybe the fork which is coming this December, but I still can't tell whether it is true or not but I think I've seen it somewhere here in bitcointalk. As we all knew, when there is a fork, bitcoin price turns high. So your prediction is much too far to reality.

It would keep on soaring in 2017 and go down a bit in January 2018.

do you have any evidence to support your claim? if so, then show it. if not then find some evidence. I don't think that bitcoin is going to fall down. it may be possible but I think because of it's massive success it will return within a week or even just days

Just because it's rising fast it doesn't mean that it will fall fast. Corrections are possible and it will probably happen but how much and when it's hard to tell. So far there are no signs on the market or some announcement of any issues that could influence the price in negative way.
But I agree that it's not clever to expect that price will rise all the time so we should be ready for every option in advance.

Why december?  There is a plenty of forecasts in the internet. Some say that BTC will fall right now while the others predicting 100k$ price tomorrow. The strange thing is that all those forecasts a made by reputable people or agencies. I'm curious to track the logic.

There is nothing normal in crypto currency. You can see 100% rise like double profit only in one day.
Then its not normal. But bitcoin price is maybe down in my prediction and then continue again.

What is the basis? where did you get that speculation, more investors and analyst are saying that bitcoin will hit the 10k mark by the end of the year. These proves that bitcoin is unpredictable in terms of value.  

Yeah I hear you man... I'm kind of afraid of this fast increasement in price... It could drop down but then again.... This is crypto and people have been claiming different things since it was $1000. I hope it slows down a bit at least and then rise slowly entire 2018 :)

I don’t think so, correction may happen but not on this price. The price of bitcoin base on my analysis is around 8-9k on december and surely bounce back early next year.

Bitcoin hits more than $10000. Bitcoin is a virtual currency you can't predict about them. Its price will change in fraction of seconds. If you predict about them, gave some appropriate reason for you prediction.

profit taking will start taking place at these levels as people are sitting on large wins. Trimming positions and tasking money off the table at this point it fairly prudent. nothing goes up in a straight line

I think this can happen. We can not predict the future. Bitcoin is rising up I worry that it will fall. I hope that the bitcoin will be okay

it is normal because many people want to buy bitcoin while they can and they think that the price is not yet too high so they decide to buy more bitcoin. but now, with the price increases so high, we will see correction price soon because the price cannot stop. although I don't know how much it will fall, I hope its not too far because the whales will be held the price to stay up to $8000 but lets we see what will happen later.

Asset managers (who may or may not be on bitcoin) are saying that after the surge, a large dip may follow (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-29/what-bitcoin-watchers-are-saying-after-the-surge-past-10-000) so it's wise to be ready with whatever happens

It's probably too fast, but it's impossible to predict. I've been expecting a correction from $9-9.5k to somewhere like $7.5-8k before breaking $10k, but it did not happen. There will be a correction, no doubt, but now $7k is unlikely. Alternatively, bitcoin may rise to $11-12k and then correct to $10k. Nobody knows from which level the correction will start.

Bitcoin is so unpredictable so anything can happen. I think it is highly likely that the price will drop sometime soon but I am confident that Bitcoin will continue to grow in the long-term.

Bitcoin probably is going too fast comparing to the previous periods. However this most recent rise is most likely driven by new money coming to the market. If the money keeps flowing in, the price will continue to rise. A correction is likely to be when a consensus of new and old investors think the price is too high. Expecting a bumpy ride in Dec.

For me no one can really be sure if bitcoins price will continue to rise higher or just simply plummet down next month.
There are too many factors to consider in predicting the price of bitcoin that is why i am just conducting research before doing anything substantial with my coins.

Yes research first before doing anything because bitcoin price is always changing and it is hard to predict that's why it is good to have an analysis first for the price graph so that you are sure on your trade and trusting that this trade will give you a big profit in the future.

Why December? well its at $10,000 right now...who knows chances are that it will keep rising

I think bitcoin will reach $13000 in early December, due to the fact that the dollar is falling greatly in the exchange market. Why should we even worry after all is not only bitcoin that it price is rising in the exchange market, other cryptocurrencie are doing well too, e.g ethereum has rise too with some percentage.

If that happen maybe some of us here were going to hold our bitcoins.
And convert it to cash.

First of all,  you need to bring something solid when you demand something like this about Bitcoin. And please try to understand how investing works. Every investment has ups and downs, highs and lows. So, Bitcoin could fall for a little while and that can happen anytime. But Bitcoin is bullish and it has a habit of going high every time it gets low. I would suggest you dig a little into investment trends and then post something rumors like this about Bitcoin.

bitcoin prices are now soaring rapidly but I think will come down at the end of December or the beginning of 2018 new year because at that time many people who sell its bitcoin. so the price will go down but will not go down drastically.

It is but normal to at least decrease in price to have time for pumping after dumping. But decreasing isnt just about those but rather at least to maintain the bitcoin in the market. Because too much increase also would be bad for the economy and would go to a huge lose. Better do it step by step.

There's no foreseeable reason for BTC to drop to 7K in December or any other month. If nothing else, it will continue to rise  :)

No, I think that's not going to happen, If bitcoin will crash,  for me it will only go down only to 8-9k from its price and after some time it will surely again recover within a month to 10.5k per 1 BTC. I think that will be the stable price for first months of 2018.

I think bitcoin will not go down that fast in December.I also think bitcoin prices will not go down significantly. this is due to bitcoin marketing is still fairly stable and continue to appear to make transactions.so, for the month of December it is unlikely to go down to $ 7k

It's amazing that bitcoin now is hit on the 10000$ USD. Iam so much thankful that this is all worth it. But I did not yet received my first ever token. But I still be waiting from the date promised with the manager said. Hopefully More increasing to come this coming December  so that everybody makes happy.

Indeed the rate of its rise is alarming and sort of giving the wary concern. But at the current price, what may make it fall is decline in demand and this may be because of the yuletide, but will bounce back after the season is over if this ever happens.

But as we can see the price is growing up, and i think that will continue untill the end of 2017

As other say it will fall down up to 30% but if you see bitcoin now its actually gaining 1% to 3% per day. It will fall down if our negativity comes first , well if we dont stop transacting using bitcoin obviously its going to increase. You can't be sure and certain of Bitcoin price falling in December. Although there are various speculations on the internet concerning crytocurrencies, I don't have any grounds of predicting Bitcoin fall in december

May we ask what basis do you have for you to state this statement. We can see that due to the incoming features that will be release by Dec, so highly doubt that it will go down in 7k mark during those times. We might see new investors coming in, that is very sure since bitcoin is gaining some mass adoption due to the increase price many are asking about it and try to understand it.

I speculated that the price of bitcoin will decrease for a reason but not that much. A 3k$ decrease of bitcoin is too much. I think december is a holiday month christmas and new year so many will sell their bitcoin in order to have money to use for the holiday season but this is just a speculation only and it maybe correct and at the same time wrong.
If my speculation is wrong and it will continue to increase, maybe it will range into 11-12k until the end of the month.

If it does decrease I will be waiting to buy as much as I can afford to. I seem to have a habit of buying when it reaches highs more so than lows.

First, why do you say bitcoin is rising to fast? We keep seeing signs showing that bitcoin is becoming mainstream. Bitcoin is not growing in just one exchange or just one country, it is spreading all over the world and is getting a lot of attention from media. Institutional investors are starting to understand how good bitcoin can be, and are starting to diversify their investments. There is nothing wrong or abnormal with that.

Look at coinmarketcap. Bitcoin has only a market cap of $184 bln, and crypto in general has a market cap of $333 bln. Do you think this is to much? Compare it to the market cap of gold. It's around $7 trillion (according to the World Gold Council (WGC)). Bitcoin is not even close to these figures, and it has the potencial to become gold 2.0 like people are calling it. Bitcoin is still in it's early days, and still has a lot of ground to cover. Information spreads fast these days, and now institutional investors are coming in to the market. It's perfectly normal that they shift some of his assets to bitcoin, and this is probably what we are seeing now.

I don't think so cause bitcoin is also a cryptocurrencies which it will go up or down. If it will go down, it will rise again.

If bitcoin will fall down on december then it would be better if we will sell or convert all our bitcoin now while the value of bitcoin is still high but if you have enough money for your daily expenses then it would be better to store your bitcoin in your wallet and wait until next year because I believe that the value of bitcoin will raise by next year because as we all see the value of bitcoin is volatile but lets all hope that bitcoin price wont fall on december so that we will still be able to earn big.

Well you never know!!! Thats the thing, this is based on demand!! If the demand keeps on rising, bitoin will keep rising and we can do nothing about it. There have been lots of points at which BTC fell but then successfully recovered. And if you look at the statistics of BTC you'll see that the greater a fall is the upper bitcoin then goes. So even if the currency falls in December I'm almost sure it'll hit 13000$ or so. At least if something really extraordinary doesn't happen.

After the hard fork so many investors think that the prize of bitcoin will depreciate but reverse was the case to bitcoin,it is rather increasing in prize,why do you now think that by December the prize will fall? Yep, It's possible. i think price probably will go even more up like $14k or $15k before correction, then bitcoin will continue to move upwards( $20k and above). i'll grab some bits if price hits $7k.

Just because it's rising fast, doesn't mean it's some sort of bubble. It has risen at this speed several other times, yet never crashed or had any significant pull-back.

I think bitcoin will not come down in the near future given the rise in the price of the bitcoin is very high in just a few weeks. For the prediction of December it will drop bitcoin is not necessarily because the price of the bitcoin it cannot be predicted. If the price is going down December bitcoin later on, surely someday the price will go up again because of the bitcoin is indeed like that cryptocurrency. Therefore I think the bitcoin is the right investment because the price is likely to go up than down. It's all the same for the other altcoin, where its price will tend to go up rather than down

I think so, but it's very unlikely since there hasn't been any news regarding a hard fork on bitcoins. Those are the only factors that I believe will affect the price of bitcoins since they are major competitors of bitcoins. But I doubt it will reach that low of a pricr at 7K. Maybe 8-9K is the lowest.

yesterday bitcoin hits 11k usd and i think it is phenomenal, i cant say that much in decber but i belive it will not fall during that time but rather on january to march.

I’ve been saying for two weeks, when the CME Group (Wall Street) introduces its Futures market on Dec. 11, 2017 for Bitcoin. That is when the correction may take place. Anytime Wall Street gets involved with a commodity, or a mineral, or a coin, government interference takes place, and whether you or I like it or not, Wall Street owns Government.
I think ordinary people and perhaps the Wales will pull back on investing, in a wait and see kinda observation, as this Futures market takes place, there are some stories out the, and soon, they will start pushing these Futures much like they push Gold in commercials. I know it scares the hell out of me.

Bitcoin will fall down the price in December; you don’t have any evidence that will happen nobody can say that. We can't predict the future of the amount of the bitcoin.  I believe that bitcoin is going up again. That only my  believes , but I am not sure.

I was not even expecting the level of $6K  to be honest. I think that institutional investors joined the game and pouring more and more capital, these efforts are pushing the price upwards day by day. However, it is unclear that why they are pushing the price and do they have any long terms plans with it or they want to earn a quick profit and vanish from the market. I believe that correction is unavoidable at this stage and it is coming in our way where price will fall by at least 20% but at the end, it will be more than that of two months ago.

So many speculations about it that many says it is a ponzi scheme but how come until now it becomes more popular and many investor interested in btc. And it keeps rising over the years and breaking all the records of gold and silver about the market cap.

The chances of the market cap being reduced depend on "us" the people who are using biitcoin. If by December and we need money for Christmas and to buy personal need, it is possible that a lot of people will sell their bitcoins and in the result, the supply of bitcoin will increase in the market and it is possible that the price will go down due to this increase.

bitcoin rate does not depend on the month or year that in november the price will up and decemeber the price will down but it depend on the demand of bitcoin in the market as the demand in the market is increasing then the price is also increasing and as the demand is decreasing then the price is also decreasing. so if we can see that more and more people now taking interest in bitcoin due to which the demand is increasing more and more and in future we can expect that price will also increased up to 20k$.

Yes, price rise this fast is not normal, simply it can't be. I know that there are a lot of newcomers joining bitcoin world, but problem is that most of them buy bitcoin simply because they think they will become rich over night. I think it will be the opposite of what you are saying. These coming december people willl have alot of money, and I think they will use it to invest on bitcoin, that is why the price will still continue to go up. Like me I will invest my benifits these Christmas in bitcoin because I believe that it will still climb up the market.

I think that bitcoin will not fall down in december but it will still increase. It will go down but not all the way down. And it will burst up again the following day.

That's not how the market works, if many will dump their bitcoin in the following days then there is a big chance that the value will go down but 7k USD very low and I don't think that it will go down again to 7k USD.

Whatever price whoever says it's only speculation but without any fact that could prove that. No one can't tell for sure how the price is going to move in the upcoming period. Last few days we saw huge jumps, up to 11300$ and back to 9500&. Probably this will continue to happen and I can only say that when the price falls it's the great opportunity to buy some more bitcoins and make the profit. Remember, corrections are normal and the price can't just go up forever.

I dont think so . It was now really in demand that its price increases unexpectedly that it not going to fall easily. Even it fall like what you say i think it will rise again in the next upcoming week after it fall. Bitcoins are just increasing too fast because of the higher fe8 of the people around the world and they are not stopping they are conitnuing to buy bitcoins and they are growing too. And look at the value today it is almost December a day before December but the orice still plays at $9-$10k at the market so how was that. I think for me the bitcoins will still be pumping untill the end of the year.

There is very less chance of this happening with current market capitalism and how people are investing and holding the bitcoin. I am also thinking that price of bitcoin will down in December to increase liquidity and market cap of other cryptocurrencies. Most of time this happens but soon price of Bitcoin will recover back to its current floor rate.

I don't think it will fall in december. With CME coming on board on December 15th I think it will continue to rise with new investors. Although some people may cash out when it rises i think the new investors will cause BTC to stabilize and become less volatile. Although i really have no basis and no one can really ever know what it will do all we can do is speculate. Yes, support level is at least $9.2K and I don't think that we can get to that level again. JP and the big banks have been buying BTC, once the CME trading is live on dec 18, they will go massively short and dump their BTC, raking in millions both ways, like in regular markets.

Well, as you can see the bitcoin price from the of october to november is tremendously increases predecting to be catch 10K by the end of 2017 so it was successfully catch by the month of november because of the demand having increasing. I have 3 support line on my chart thats around  10k 9k and i think the strongest support is 8k if it break 8k area you may expect to go down to 5k- 6k. I do not know whats the reason of your prediction but i do not think that btc will break the 8k support line.

This is just another assumption but to be true bitcoin is increasing real fast after just one day when bitcoin bubble just pops and decrease to 9K but then another bigger bubble is forming up which is the fast increase of the price. No one actually would have been predicted this and people just got crazy of how it went down and just then surpasses the maximum market cap before to 10 - 11K. I also did not believe it but I guess its harder for me and for those who are just earning through signature campaigns to achieve our goal to get at least 1 Bitcoin.

I dont think that will happen, it's december now and bitcoins price is steadily increasing, it price today is around $11k and is still rising!, that is such a good news for every bitcoin users. I think it will continue to grow more as 2018 comes in, so just keep buying and holding your bitcoins.

Bitcoin falling down this month is only a prediction so you don't need to worried about because bitcoin is a kind of currency that easily increase the price because of some related matters that help bitcoin become more popular and more accepted in different country.

Spending bitcoin for the chrismass will pull down bitcoin is not logical and I believe that might there will a slight correction took place and I never expect to the mark 10k the mark 7k will not be there if you looking for that then you have to look in to other altcoins not bitcoin. I think your prediction is less precise, now in early December, but bitcoin prices do not show a significant drop,precisely the higher the price and unstoppable.
Maybe in mid December until the end of this year there will be a slight change, but for the price situation i guess it will not be too bad even until bitcoin down, very unlikely.

On November 29th I wrote in this thread that there will be a correction, but $7k is unlikely. My alternative guess was that bitcoin may rise to $11-12k and then correct to $10k. The correction happened on November 30th and was somewhat in between, from about $11.5k to $9.5k. I would say that another drop of similar magnitude is possible, but $7k is even less likely now. However, start of futures trading will be a big event and the result is unpredictable.

Well bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is unpredictable. We can't say if it goes up to $15,000 or maybe goes down with $7,000. All we can have to do is to support our system. Maybe there will be reasons behind why it goes up or why it goes down. Well, I guess you predicted it wrong my friend. Today's date December 05, 2017, BTCs price rally is lying under $11000 range. It might go higher in the coming days or maybe it might have a fallback before Christmas which I think only a small fallback. Actually, nobody really knows what's is going to happen, since as we all know BTC price is really unpredictable. I don't want to predict the price, I'll be just positive that it will still increase and reach another peak at the end of this year.

I do not think same Bitcoin is not going to decrease in terms of its market price in the upcoming month the price of Bitcoins after the last dump has increased to somewhat near dollar 8000. Yes it is true that many of the investors are having firm believe in this currency and therefore more of the people are attracted towards the use of BTC is in their earning methods due to high investment rates it is possible that the price decrease but not this year.

Have you already realized that your prediction is so wrong? Bitcoin is too powerful this year. The rapid increase in the value of Bitcoin is just normal. You do not need to worry. And if Bitcoin actually falls at $7,000, its value will increase again because the total demands of Bitcoin is increasing. It is too hard to predict the value of Bitcoin. You just have to go with the flow.

I think that already happened days ago, about the market correction? I mean its just a human error after all. There is no chance that bitcoin will drop it's price in December today I check the price of bitcoin its price is very high and still its price is going more high so it’s a misunderstanding that bitcoin will drop its price and this year was much better than last year a lot of countries have accepted bitcoin and still more countries are trying to accept bitcoin which mean demand of bitcoin is going high day by day when demand go high its mean its price will also go high.

There are so many of us who are waiting for the price to fall down but it is not happening. In my opinion, it is best to do cost averaging method in buying bitcoin little by little and reserve some cash for the upcoming correction/dip if it ever happens. FUDs will be coming out and I see it as an opportunity to buy and accumulate more at a discounted price when everyone else is panic selling. If there won't be a dip on the price, I'll just hold my btc for long term.

I don't see any reasons, why bitcoin should fall. As far as I see interest is raising all the time. I think it will affect the price in positive way. There might be slight fall, but I'm pretty sure, that cost will be a little bit higher than now, around 14-15 thousands.

Your correct to that, we can clearly see that now. The rise of bitcoin from 6months before is not easy to be predicted that it will drop. Knowing its risk,but many people still ivest in bitcoin that is why it will still rise until next year or the years coming.

Your prediction is literally not correct. Intuition is something different than the reality. Bitcoin may have some down falls because of demands. But, that doesn't means that it may fall as low as 7k in December. There are some chances that it may go back to 10k mark in December. However, I still doubt that mark.

I guess you predicted it wrong mate. As of this moment, another peak was reached at $13000 and it might go higher in the coming days and break another all-time high before this year end. Your prediction has still a chance since December is not yet over, anything can happen like maybe a fallback which I guess a slight one only but for me, $7000 fall won't gonna happen. Just look at Bitcoins progress for the past two months and days.

I did not see any reason falling the price even not being stable at the price because the price has reached a huge level where some small conflicts in the price greater in Real world according to our faint currency. The more high it goes the more unpredictable it gets but remember one thing that with each year passing we see something strange on the Bitcoin market and eventually the number of Bitcoin users arising everyday. It's strange that how people are still coming to Bitcoin but if that keeps happening then I am afraid it will rise a lot that we cannot even able to earn a full one bitcoin.

i think it will not fall on december  since november the price keep rising from 6k,and now on december it reaches 13k what an amount.although btc has its volatility but in my opinion its still be high until 2018 comes.

Bitcoin will drop some in december and the reasons are
1 christmas starting evening 23 until 27 most banks will be closed and there will be less deposits and after that again new year bank closed (considering most of the price now is due to new deposits)
2 people  who are already into bitcoin would want to cash in some profit knowing this is the quickest all time high for bitcoin (even if they know this is the stop between moon and mars)

Your 7k prediction is already been turned down by high bitcoin price.
You can't simple predict especially in crypto currency. You must have solid reason required to predict this and i can't see any reason in December nor in January. Anyways the price is 14000$ per btc even if it fall down it will still have high price.

i don't think there will be any big downfall coming in this month. even if its fall to that 10k around this will not be for longer run. even if he's dropping a way down there will be enough rescue services and all the guys who didn't invest yet cause its too expensive right now would buy in so the price rises again and i think right now there is no force on earth to stop it.

Well actually, the price shot up once the futures started trading. It has given up some of its gains, but the price is still close to $17,000 which represents a big gain from the start of December.
Another point is that the futures are trading at a slightly higher price than spot right now. As arbitrage traders come in, the price will increase in the spot market as well and prices will converge.

Yeah I admit that bitcoin's price now is decresing a little bit but I guess it will not fall at $7000 per bitcoin because it too much. In my speculation the decreasing of bitcoin is just temporarily hence there it will rise again and will be stable at $20000.

Yes bitcoin drops in this month but before that, bitcoin goes so up high.  In the middle of this month, bitcoin starts dropping a little but it goes back in 17K USD. as the Christmas comes near, that starts dropping much more. It drops until it is around 13K USD. I hope your 7K USD prediction will not happen. it recoved but now it back again in 13k USD range. I expected drop when bitcoin hits 19K USD. But I did not expect that it will drop up to around 13K USD. I think this will continue to happen until this year end then start and continue recovering in 2018. 20K is the prediction of the most of us in here by the next coming year

Reminds me of what happened same time last year and previous years. the price usually drops because of festivity and moreover, this year has more ICOs rolling out, so people liquidate to buy Ethereum and other token issuing blockchains to buy ICOs. However, bitcoin price are ultimately decided by whale-factors.

from my views the ending of 2017 December will be near but the price of bitcoin is countinously increasing very rapidly at high rate and reach to $13000 approx but the up and down in the price of bitcoin wil take place in the market . I think that despite the decline in price of bitcoin in December due to the high supply of bitcoin in the crypto market, certainly because some users do bitcoin sales transaction to meet needs of Christmas and New Year celebration, but I believe if bitcoin will increase again in the near future this, because I think investors are still high interest to invest in bitcoin so this will certainly have a positive impact on the development of bitcoin in the next year.
