I think 1000 will be reached before January 1, 2018, although today this coin should cost from 1000 to 1500!

There was a lot of speculations about that but i think it wont happen that soon as some predicted but defiantly in 2018.

Please, you must visit the ethereum github page and try to read all of the whitepaper. $1000 will be possible. Rather than give an argument about how ether will worth and it may better for you to get the more knowledge about ether.

I think it might reach 1000 value in next 2-3 months but still not sure about it because that will dependent upon the value of bitcoin. The bitcoin is very fluctuating factor for it right now and if the bitcoin is going up then we may find that ETH will show up some upward movement. But again its uncertain alt coin and last time we saw it at 300 USD and it was stuck there like anything. I mean we almost saw it over there for next 8-10 months and we were loosing the hopes upon it.

Now again the time has come when the coin is fluctuating around the 500 USD. Neither it is going up and neither it is going down int he time. I mean that is ridiculous pendulum over again. But lets not loose the hope in first glance, some good news must be there before the end of this year.   

We all know that ethereum is one of the best alt and always be in the top 3 in coinmarketcap. I am sure next year the ethereum will reach $ 1000 even more.

I think ETH will cost $1000 during the next three months, but it will not go up faster than BTC, so if you want to buy and hold for some long term I recommend BTC - this is the champion..

However you could be lucky if you buy ETH in the right moment and sell right after a sharp jump, which can happen for a short period of time

I think we can see the climbing of 1000 USD prices in the month of January or February. I can see that from he market capitalism that is growing day by day. Though the prices have been restricted to or has been kept in limits at 450 USD since two three day then also I believe that it will be taken off soon.

Definitely agreeable, low risk even though slow in raising it's price but still good for investing in a long term basis. Hope it will increase for about 50% before the year ends. I've almost sold out my shitcoins because I believed in ethereum's potential.

I think at the end of the year 2017 it will hit 800$ but if you expect 1000$ maybe in the month of March or April 2018. Its just my speculation just my idea only but if youre planning to invest in it I consider it as a good investment.

I think yea it will. I am always bullish on ethereum. The second biggest coin deserves its place. And also please remember the meeting between Putin and Vitalik. Ya I think the same. Ethereum is just an altcoin as like other So the price of ethereum will gradually raise.I think it will reach 1000$ in February of 2018,in a three months period. Ethereum has good base but it's not decentralized as like bitcoin, this is reason for Ethereum Price is raising gradually. We can expect this raise in next year. If it is just like the other altcoin why the people are comes with the ethereum based smart contract projects. Bitcoin growth and eth is seems like same in the chart. Whenever the bitcoin bumps on that time we find the ethereum also grows in the price movement.

Personally I think that in 2018 ETH will keep 0.05 ratio with BTC. But there is another guess - a lot of fiat value were brought to Ethereum platform during this year. Even if 5% of all this effort (mostly about trading and exchange) will succeed even more than 1k is possible (even if it will be not for a long term) and also ratios with BTC can change.

The price Ethereum is very stable when he high up he need more time. In coinmarketcap the price ethereum is $467 for bit $1000 he need five month and more five month.

I have heard interesting comments about the potential that ethereum still has to reach a much higher price than the current one, and some of them place it close to $2,000 in a couple of years. As in any forecast related to the markets, it is practically impossible to accurately predict the future performance of ethereum, just as a year ago no one would imagine that bitcoin would be worth $11,000 this days, but I would dare to forecast the price of $1000 for ethereum in March.

What is your forecast based upon? Because if you look at the ETH/BTC chart, its value is steadily decreasing against Bitcoin. Ethereum's up in dollar value, but Bitcoin has doubled since October. Although Ethereum has a strong use-case, it's constantly cashed out for fiat to pay for the development of ICOs instead of being held in cold storage like Bitcoin. The only black swan event that could shake up things is the CME Futures Market.

I think the ICO hype will die down when people finally start to realize only 1% of these tokens actually have any use. At that point I'd expect to see ETH surge. But, we're certainly not there yet...

2017 has been the year of growth of Cryptocurrency. 2018, in my mind, will be the year of regulations on cryptocurrency. It will grow but not at the pace it has in 2017.

hmmm i think it's quite difficult ethereum can break $ 1000 in quick time. as long as there is still a bitcoin fork issue, chances are that traders will stay focused on bitcoin hunting. unless the bitcoin price break 25k USD/BTC and the ethereum price is stable at 0.04 - 0.05 BTC/ETH. or when the issue of bitcoin fork has weakened, the possibility of the trader will aim at ethereum.

no its not really that difficult for etherium to reach that small amount value. if you look at the market chart of etherium thesedays it is still rising from time to time and i could expect that it can reach again a new all time high by the end of the week and sooner or later it can hit and break the $1000 dollar barrier. also keep in mind that etherium is mainly a long term investment therfor you cant possibly expect fast and quick price surge like bitcoin.

It's true that ETHEREUM is on the top 2-3 list of alts in the market next to the popular Bitcoin. Ethereum price value is equal  to 458.65 dollars a coin ranges from $454.88 - $461.81  as of Dec. 2,2017. But with $1000 prediction for EThereum yes it is possible but maybe not at this time and it will take some time to raise to that value. For me I think middle half of 2018 Ethereum will reach that high value.

Though Ethereum growth is fueled by ICO's and smart contract tech usage, a lot of it's growth is relative to Bitcoin growth. Some might disagree, but interpose the charts and look for yourself.

Support and speculation for BTC is strong, so I'm bullish on Ethereum as well. Ethereum has more real world usage than Bitcoin, but it will take some time for the world to make use of that.

I still think that ETH will be having a difficult time to hit $1000 soon because investors are not really persuaded to invest in this coin. Although ETH is being fueled by ICO's, I don't think this is enough to push the price to the 4 digit barrier. I would love to see ETH get to it, however, I have doubts about it.

Specially that ETH has a bumpy road after it reaches its all-time-high last June. After that people lost their enthusiasm after getting there. And now with the renewed interest once more, I assumed that it will go to the same motion again. It will take like a year for ETH to double its current price in my opinion.

Ethereum hitting $1000 by 2018 is a real possibility. Just take a look at all the developments surrounding Ethereum and compare it to bitcoin? Ethereum enterprise alliance partnerships, code upgrades, meetups, etc., compared to Bitcoin's squabbles with bitcoin cash, drama, politics, etc. I always do wonder why Bitcoin is worth more than Ethereum.

There's no doubt in my mind that Ethereum will hit $1000, I'm not entirely sure about the "soon" part, but it will definitely get there. In my opinion this is something that we'll be able to see in 2018, maybe towards Q3, but this market is so unpredictable, it's very difficult to tell...

If the Ethereum coin get a good capitalist no doubt that this altcoin value is reach the $1000. However if not I think it takes time before achieve that price in 2018. For me $1000 is not hard to reach but we need first to support first ethereum to meets that target amount. My opinion on ethereum is that it can merely be seen at $1000 in next couple of months because this time people are following and making their possible investments in bitcoin.The target of investors is to push bitcoin to $2000 in very starting of new year.

I think ethereum will reach a thousand, but not sooner than you think. It is because its price trend is much likely to be similar with bitcoin's, and it pretty much depends on the value of bitcoin. It might reach 500, but 1000 is very unlikely to be sooner.

The price of the ethereum today is increasing and it's totally 470 dollars and I think it will increase more so if you buy more ethereum now because it's possible to increase that price like 1000 dollars and for sure if that happen many people earn a lot of profit in the future. If demand for Ethereum will rise up considerably in the first quarter of next year, the the $1000 target might be reach. The price appreciation have been too slow if you compare to the newly forked coin the bitcoin cash which already has the value of $1500. By the time more people are realising the importance of Ethereum in Crypto world and how it will be used in the future. It's currently the back bone of most of the ICO's and alt coins, I believe it will easily reach that price mark before 2nd quarter of 2018 and will keep growing, contract technology is evolution of Cryptos.

So many people and traders believe that ETH is even over valued at the moment and the hype this year which gave it a huge percentage increase is one of the reasons ATH cannot even maintain a pretty good run for now. $1000 for now looks like something that is not going to be possible, but it would really be nice to see some good movement for the coin before the end of the year, at least better than what we have now.

Next year is more than possible, especially given that they are releasing some new updates to make way for proof of stake. In the short term however ETH has been a little bit dead and hasn't been able to rise along with the rest of crypto.

It seems ethereum's pace is slowing down a bit. People were expecting it reach 1k like start of 2018 but now it looks like it's going to take longer. Markets are totally focused on bitcoin now as it rises above 14k $. It is getting harder to make accurate predictions considering last couple of month's activities.

We cannot absolutely say for now how the ETH ride is going to be like but one thing is that in the next few weeks, we should expect some huge run again. Although, it has really been blocked by a huge resistance for a while now, and it does not seem to last so long after a bull run. Even if it ends up attaining the ATH of $1000, there is a huge possibility of it getting dumped hugely after then.

So far, ETH has not really had a major run and even try to maintain the running position for a while now and stick to the value of the ATH it attains. $1000 seems unrealistic for now, but it is the crypto world and anything can happen. Like you said, if the Casper POS ends up successful that may drive some turn up for ETH but for now, we just have to keep our fingers crossed.

It is possible for Ethereum to hit that amount in 2018 but not as soon as it could be. As we can see, the price is increasing but not as high and not as rapid as bitcoin is. If you have done to read all of the roadmap 2.0 of ethereum and you will be understand about that, First dapps already built in ethereum which mean the ethereum blockchain is having real usage in the future, But the only problem caused by the scalability was not enough to process the more transaction at the same time.

FYI, Ethereum has only reached 400+ USD this month. So it actually gained a lot since it was previously trading at the $300 range.

Ethereum will go up a lot soon because it is so undervalued right now. Currently many people fear ETH's scalability because of the issues with pending transactions. Once the ETH team finished their scaling solution and proves to everyone ETH can handle massive adoption, it's price will skyrocket like theres no tomorrow.

With constant network troubles due to digital cats and Bitcoing wiping out alts its hard to see Eth and its toke s to rise to new heights. All Im getting is constant loss, couldnt even sell my eth before btc bull due to the network congestion..this is just plain depressing.

After what I've seen in last few days I am certainly sure Ethereum will not reach 1000$, not even close. If one cat's game can get on knees whole Ehetereum Network with 23.000+ pending transactions there is no way it will rise in price, secondly Bitcoin is mooning so quickly is an unbelievable and even controversial hack on multi mining pool - NiceHash with loss of 78 Million dollars (4700 BTC) can't stop Bitcoin rise. Until CryptoKitties are removed from Blockchain or there is a quick fix that will do something about pending transactions and bring back Ethereum network to normal speed ETH will only lose value.

There are a lot of obstacles which could prevent the ETH price to raise up to $1000 in few months. For examble BTC price behaviour and different scale problems at the ethereum network. It doesn't work properly for few days because of sh*tty kitties. So I won't be so sure that it could reach 1000 soon.

Ethereum is like the second Litecoin, they are not losing value so easily but they are not gaining also.

Maybe not before January, but it will get there. There is a huge demand to invest in any cryptos and while BTC has gone up so fast, people are looking for alternatives. Second largest currency will be a natural choice.

And about litecoin, it is up almost 60% in the last 24h..

Ethereum has a real potential to be in thousands of dollars and according to me the price might reach $1000 in the next year.
ETH is facing a lot of issues theses days and this might slower down the growth of ETH. If all the current issues of ETH are solved then it might spike up in price and compete in DASH's price.

While holding on half the amount you are supposed to. You gave him little time for such a lift, he is not as dependent on you as bitcoin and consequently the growth will be slower.

 Looking at the current altcoins pump LTC especially, I can say that maybe ETH will hit $1000 even in this year.. It`s around $700 right now, and 50% growth is not unreal in the nearest future

Yes it is, but how soon? we know that it is pretty much certain for ethereum to reach $1k price point anytime as the price is having a pump right now. We can't determine it when but for me i believe it will happen before we go in 2018.

$1000 is not a target for ethereum. Maybe even $10000 in 1 or 2 years. Look at the price now more than $700 at the moment. And ETH/BTC is nearly 1/4 of its maximum.

If you are talking about soon I think it is going to be a no. But I think it is possible that it will hit maybe 6 months after the new year. The last time I checked is it is at $721. But we still do not know what is gonna happen.

Possibly this will happen before the year end, the price has started to grow towards the $1000 mark. Another thing that make the price grow high is the increasing projects that get developed over the ethereum platform which is mentioned to be the best after the blockchain technology.

The price of the ethereum as of now is already 600 dollars and for sure it will increase more . I think 1000 dollars is possible to happen in the next few weeks or few months. I think it will be realized next year, but somehow what month. If Yes, maybe that will make positive things for many people and profitable ethereum.

Ethereum hasnt gone up nearly as much as all the other big caps recently, it has much more room to grow! It can easily hit 1200 by New Years.

I think we will see this in the 1st quarter of 2018. However it all depends on how BTC will perform too. We are pegged against it mainly and currently we are certainly riding their big ass wave.
