Surely myetherwallet is the first wallet that comes to mind for erc20 tokens. It's secure and easy to use. And you don't need to download anything. Apart from that metamask addon for chrome, mozilla firefox etc. is also a good option. It also lets you use ETH Dapps on normal browsers.

I am using right now is myetherwallet, for me it is good to hold our tokens, because it has our own private key and keystore, we are only the one who can open it unless you told it to anybody from where did you store your keystore or private key, so make sure if using this wallet you must don't forget where did you store your key and don't tell it to anybody.

I would suggest MyEtherWallet.com it is easy to use and its a reliable digital wallet. Just be careful on your account's info son. Dont give your PRIVATE KEYS to anyone. You can give them your address but do not give out your private key on anyone else. Thats the common mistake for MEW users. I think that they give their PRIVATE KEY instead of address. So you should know the difference of those two. Your private key was intended to use only by you. When it comes to BTC wallet, im using coins.ph coz thats the only wallet available here in the Philippines. Try to research more about BTC wallet and search for the most suggested by users on your country. Good luck buddy!

It depends what kind of tokens you are trying to store.
If you want to store ERC20 tokens(classic tokens that are being based on the ethereum network).

If you are trying to storr ERC20 tokens I would suggest you to download MyEtherWallet which has a very comfort UI for the average user.

I'm currently using is myetherwallet it's good to use for our token holders.
It's safe and secure as long as you do not let others know your private key. But I think you first need to research what a good wallet is for the safety of your tokens.

As of now I prefer using MyEtherWallet to hold my cryptocurrencies. It is secured, accessible, and simple.

I guess almost all bitcointalk members would recommend myetherwallet, and it is the best wallet for any tokens and ERC20 tokens. And I am also using it and for months of using it, I see why it is considered as the best. But just always check the address because someone made a clone of it, so be careful.

my suggestion is myetherwallet and imtoken because I see many people recommend this too to save the tokens. as long as you can save the private keys, your account in the myetherwallet and imtoken is saved too. personally, I only use myetherwallet but sometimes if the token is not listed on that site, I need to add by myself and then I can receive the token.

I recommended Myetherwallet if you are joining in bounties/ico .The real beauty with MyEtherWallet is the ability to set the security to your individual needs. It is a customer-side wallet meaning that only you have access to your private keys. Please avoid visiting in some suspicious(phishing site) they will steal your tokens and especially all of  your tokens in your wallet. But the only thing I hate this wallet is not a mobile friendly its very laggy so you should use pc before making transaction in this wallet.

Most of the people are using it. You can also try metamask and parity. They're good and secure just like myetherwallet system. They're also compatible with all erc20 tokens. So that you can store them securely.

There are many wallets in which you can preserve your tokens. Currently i am using MEW ans WAVE wallets. It is very easy to operate. Myethereum wallet is one of the best wallet and it is very secure also, if you know how to use it. I have already used it many times by making transactions it is very easy to understand and you will find no such problem in operating it. This is because i like it the most and also suggest to others about its positive points.

That is the most popular wallet being used for every tokens.  It is pretty good but once you give your private key or save it in google you know what happen.
I have a friend and lost his tokens but she do not know why that happen. That is why it really need strong security.  Not only one security but add some more.  Be careful of private key to copy because sometimes we take it as an address of the wallet.

Just make use of My Ether Wallet. However, you must learn how to stay secured using this wallet so you do not end up losing all your funds in your wallet in the long run. You can also make use of metamask, as this should really help as well and also make things easy for you. With respect to security, always be careful you do not end up on a phishing website after you have opened your wallet.

check NEM Wallet , is very good for tokens from multiple ico's.
With respect to tokens, I guess the OP should have specified if he is referring to ERC20 tokens. For ERC20 tokens, My Ether Wallet is just the best bet. NEM is a totally different platform and the tokens created on NEM platform can only be used on NEM wallet, so I would want to be careful I am not giving out NEW wallet address for an ERC20 token.

I used to use MyEther too, bucourse it's very good wallet. But he needs to reduce the cost of transactions, because he has grown in price, and it is necessary to regulate the cost, because there will be competitors who will do it faster and cheaper, which will negatively affect the purse itself. and it is not very convenient.

and cheap cost has a good reputation so many users choose it,
but never share your private key to anyone because it is the access to view your account, and most importantly keep your address and private key in place safe if you need to write or address your dowloand wallet along with your private key.

MEW with a ledger nano S, i think it is a really clean and secure combination.  Ledger nano s can sign transactions securely and MEW has the most tutorials and community support so if you run into anything you don't understand you can research how to  the sign transaction types you are looking (of course do the research BEFORE you sign the transactions).

Myetherwallet is in my opinion best and safest wallet to hold your erc20 tokens. It is very simple and it is easy to use, only thing you need to be careful is about all those phishing fake myetherwallet sites, so bookmark mew link and don't use or click random links. I only hope they will ad 2fa one day.

Myetherwallet is a reliable wallet for holding a wide variety of ERC-based token. This is a web-based wallet. Although there are also mobile-based wallets, I still prefer MEW because it is easier to use and is safer. AFAIK , MyEtherWallet ( MEW ) is the best one.

For reminder , you still need careful especially when you're new investor and try to use new MEW interface because there are many people who spread out malware in order to achieve people's password ( JSON ,private key,  etc )
ETH and all the altcoin's biggest strengths and weaknesses are the uniqueness of the private key, which of course is where the chaos of the blockchain goes. But once anyone has mastered a deposit-taking private key, he can manipulate the account because the private key does not support fingerprinting.

As far as I know, the best one is still MyEtherWallet. Of course that after the last hack on etherdelta I probably wouldn't advise anyone to hold big amounts of ether or tokens there. I'm not sure if the same type of hack could be used on this website, since it works in a very similar way to etherdelta. It's a website, and you need to add your private key in order to have access to the wallet.

I will do the same like you, sir, because if we want to hold for a long term then we need secure wallet like ledger or trezor that support erc20 token so we don't have to worry from the attacker. besides that, I don't feel comfortable to keep all my tokens in my etherdelta for a long time since everything on the internet is not always guarantee to be safe. so ledger or trezor would be the best choice for saving our tokens. and if you want to hold for short term then it is better to save in the exchange so we can sell it once the price increase.

I prefer myetherwallet because its easy to use and simple. Only you can access your wallet by your own private key. So better to take care of your private key and keep it safe otherwise you cant open your account if you lost it.

If you want a mobile one (ios, android), then I will go on EIDOO...

It depend, what token do you want to store? I personally store my erc20 tokens on myetherwallet because it is very easy to use and th dashboard is very fast and no lag at all. I use my etherwallet for few years now and it is very safe but you need to check the link carefully because they are a lot of phishing website that look like myetherwallet. For bitcoin, I use blockchain.info for years and it still very reliable.

MyEtherWallet (MEW) is good for for erc20 coins but you need to check carefull address before used!
If you use large amounts of storage, use ETH core

Myetherwallet + hardware wallet Ledger Nano S (https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products/ledger-nano-s). This is the most correct and reliable option for storing ethereum tokens. And the price is relatively small. I recommend that you keep it that way, you will not regret it.

I support this advice. I have different wallets, because there are coins on different platforms, NEO, Waves and others. Obligatory I think you need to have hardware wallet Ledger Nano S. Since it is a good defense of your investment. And in any case, do not keep large amounts on the exchange. In my experience this can bring a lot of gray hair from excitement.

MyEtherWallet is the most used wallet here in the forum. It is popular because it is easy to use and safe. It will give you private key that only you will know. But you really have to be careful of giving your eth address since it is almost alike with your private key. Always double check if what you're giving is your address.

I still use myetherwallet to store every token I have and once the token has the market, I will move the balance from myetherwallet to that market so I don't have to worry if myetherwallet been hacked. I do this just in case to prevent being hacked because I read much news that many of us get hacked in their myetherwallet and they cannot save their token into another wallet. I think myetherwallet is safe but we still need to prevent bad things that might be happening in the future.

My Etherwallet is good wallet for holding ERC20 tokens but what you have to do is to hold your private key very safe from intruders. Just open an account at  https://myetherwallet.com and you will be giving an ethereum address to send your tokens. Again don't forget to hold your private key very safe.

MyEtherWallet wallet, in my opinion, is the best for storing tokens. The numeric key code is large enough and complex and can not be selected. The purse can be entered from any device, it has no binding to either E-mail, or phone number, or to anything else. This is very important in cases when a phone, a laptop and so on are stolen.

So far i don't heard any issues about in this wallet, you are the responsible with you're private key just download the file on you're using gadget or print out you're private key in a piece of band paper and keep in the place safe. Why I said it is safe because they don't have gmail you can safe your private key only and no one knows what is your private key except you but you need to keep to the safe place your private key because if you lose it you cant open your account because they don't have reset password because they not use gmail or email.  They have disadvantage or advantage ofusing myetehrwallet but for sure the advantages is more.  It's up to you if you want to use this wallet or not.  You can try make a research what wallet is best token because they have different wallets for token.

It depends sometimes there are token that are in waves contract and there are coins that belongs to Ethereum or ERC-20,
For waves contract you could use the waveswallet.io and for Ethereum you could use MEW or MyEtherWallet.

WavesWallet is also safe and easy to use.
But if you want to have an ongoing thing with crypto, I do advise you to look for other options (ledger - multiple ones, or just download and setup a wallet on a computer that it's used just for this purpose).

Well, waves wallet is safe but waves based coins are not so popular like erc20 based tokens. MY advice would be on myetherwallet side because there are a lot of successful erc20 based tokens and you can store them all in mew.

Actually you can store quite a few on Waves, but mostly the popular coins (Bitcoin and some of the Altcoins).

But if you lose your series of secret words you lose access to the wallet.

MEW has always been a popular option of course.

While the best wallet for storing tokens is MyEtherWallet. It is quite simple to use, has no binding to either the phone number or anything else and allows you to manage your wallet from any device, which is very important. Also this wallet is quite safe, the digital key consists of many different letters, numbers and symbols and it is impossible to crack it.

It depends, if you're holding ERC20 tokens or coins then you'll use Myetherwallet otherwise use the proprietary wallets if you have Bitci6, NEO, Qtum, Monero and other coins that has no smart contract with Ethereum.
Because Ethereum is the most popular coin today and most of to Altcoins are using ERC20 platform as their primary transaction explorer.

Yes, MEW is the most popular and simple wallet for your tokens though I would recommen you get third-party device for storing private keys like as Ledger Nano S. It's more safety. So you should choose Myetherwallet to store ERC20 token.

good investment and I will buy Ledger soon, for now they do not offer

Almost 90% of Initial Coin Offering project are based on Ethereum blockchain, so, as a consequence, they will issue tokens with ERC20 format. This is why you will need a wallet which supports this type of format. Currently, I am using the Metamask one since it provides a great access to your wallets, the opportunity to create different accounts in less than in 10 seconds and it results to be one of the most safer wallets
