Very good through information is a good project, but when you say that the high barriers imposed by the platforms are a problem, but these barriers make it something professional, I confess that I am learning a lot, but I am adapting to the system of platforms. The platform is nice and quite helpful for beginners. Even they can follow experienced traders and copy their moves. However, do these traders get the incentives for their trading activities being copied?

Yes, experienced traders earn extra rewards in BPT when they gain followers and thus make extra revenues when their portfolio performs well or when they share information with the community. If a member wishes to follow or copy the trading activities of an experienced trader, they will have to pay them in BPT.

I am very in favour of focusing on beginners and making it as easy and accessible as possible. The cognitive dissonance in a speculative market is immense and everyone has the fear of losing a significant portion of their money stuck in the back of their head all the time - regardless of experience and stake levels.

I am a bit skeptical given the competition and "bandwagon" in this space. For example, how does would it compare to Iconomi? They have solid backings and track record of pumping out good products. Can it fight through the big players already in this meta-trading space?

From what I understand it'll work similarly to what BNB does for Binance. BPT will be used to buy/sell coins on the Blockport platform at a discount.
It's more of a utility token (which are gaining more popularity).

I didn't get in. But got some for a good price on the exchanges (etherdelta), which is great.

I would suggest buying some while its cheap as this will be moon. They partners with https://ark.io/ (https://ark.io/), cmon :) - imo the best project (and undervalued btw) in the crypto space atm.

And exchanges will be very big in 2018 and 2019. The existing ones are jammed, not to mention not-intuitive and hard for average joe. We want all the average joes to get on the crypto train and Blockport is definetly one of the solutions for that.

A lot of good things are happening in the initial stages of this coin and community. I am very eager to to see how the project progresses and if the dev team can keep up with the aggressive roadmap they have laid out for the coming year. Everything looks super clean though so far and no real red flags. I look forward to investing.

Yes, why not? If blockport get a high trading-volume, competitors would benefit from listing.

For example cobinhood is listed at mercatox, etherdelta. binance is on bancor. Waves is listed for example on binance, tidex, bittrex, liqui, etherdelta and many more.

An even if not, what I don`t think... I`m pretty sure the price will rise, because there will be very likely many customers who will use blockport, because it is a great idea. I`ll use it, too.

The concept of Blockport is so solid that, if executed correctly, it will become a game changer for investors with any kind of experience. Being listed on Binance and KuCoin will increase trading volume and price, but it will also pump fake value into a company at its infant stage, which is unhealthy for any business. For me Blockport is an obvious long-term hold, and when they launch their platform, people will flock toward the exchange, and the price of BPT will skyrocket.

Solid project that will gain the value it deserves at the right time.

I don't understand why do we need the BPT Tokens, will these be used for trading (like BPT/ETH, BPT/BTC, BPT/XRP etc) or just as rewards when you get followed and probably for other activities?
Also, why would anyone hold this token if its only purpose is to be given as reward and then sold for money?

The token is going to be pumped and dumped probably, I only hope this will not affect the rest of the project which looks promising. I'll follow it ^^

You can currently purchase BPT on Etherdelta and IDEX at the moment. I used IDEX to buy some, but I wouldn't recommend that exchange if you're buying less than $200 worth, they have unreasonable trading limits in my opinion.

BPT up 193% for the week!!! - you gotta be happy with these sort of returns in what is really only a slowly recovering market -
and Blockport is yet to list on Binance, Bittrex or any of the really big exchanges (only on the Etherdelta, Kucoin, Idex & Rfinex).

I can see big jumps ahead when new markets are opened up - but yes the idea is fantastic - easy access to a whole bunch of exchanges thru one easy to use interface means a lot more trading can happen a lot more easily - great for the crypto world & taking some of the frustration out of it for newbies.

I don't usualy join ICOs, I prefer slow and steady gains and with most ICOs being either a scum or a promising project failing in the end, I prefer to dodge the bullets!

However I had this one in my crosshair since I'm an ARK investor and there is a cooporation between Blockport and ARK, I trust the ARK developers and if they're working with Blockport, then it's not a scam; yet it could fail even if the Blockport devs do their best to succeed.

Agree. It seems legit and promissing. Still no garentees. The Alpha version seems nice and user freindly, but some functions are not supported yet. The  development team has to work hard for keeping up with the roadmap i think. When they do keep up, then BPT is highly undervalued at the moment.  :)

Kind of an extreme example:
B has 1000 followers (all have 1 btc each). All followers decide to follow B with 100 % of their portfolio. B has 1 btc in total. B buys some low volume coin. Lets say he buys 1001 LowVolumeCoins for 1 btc. What happens next? A huge buy wall will be created? If that is the case, the price of the LowVolumeCoin will pump and the followers are unlikely to buy the coins. Or is Blockport using market-orders, which would be even worse?

or is it more like B will loan the coins from the followers? So he has 1001 btc in total and when he buys 1001 LowVolumeCoins for 1 btc, each participator will get 1 LowVolumeCoin?

I feel like there is a huge scaling problem.

So the main purpose of this token is to copy other peoples portfolio. How much BPT do I have to pay to copy a portfolio? Is that up to the user?

I like the part that I own the private keys. Make it compatible with hardware wallets too and it'll be the exchange we need!

Personally I'm not so intrested into the social part but I'm sure this function will help the project succeed. The cryptocurrency boom has gathered a lot of new people who don't have experience with Forex and Stocks, so they will probably depend a lot on such a tool.

Holding private keys will be a big deal in 2018. I'm also curious about their licensing/banking relationships that will allow them a deposit/withdraw options similar to Coinbase. I expect much of this will be covered at the meetup.

We have a payment provider and bank that facilitate our payment methods. We are closely working with Bunq bank, a young and innovative online bank in The Netherlands.

I have very bad experiences with it. Last year I sold something on eBay and the buyer told PayPal that someone used his eBay account to buy.
& he got the money back and I didnt get my stuff back.
PayPal gave him the money back even I had proof of deliver because he gave me a positiv feedback on eBay.

The whole company is a scam, but I also heard of some regulations recently maybe its more secure now, idk.


On the other hand it would make the investing in crypto thing a lot faster and more handy.
Its basically the same as on eBay, people prefer to get things quick & if you offer PayPal some people might prefer your exchange over other ones.

I guess the best thing you could do is to contact PayPal and get some kind of "trusted" status so buyers cant get their money back from paypal.

The Blockport project has a great idea of trading with crypto-currencies including such functions as the ability to trade on various exchanges from one Blockport site copying signals from experienced and successful traders, low commissions.     BBAC Top 500 - When will checking be complete & access given ?

We are dependent on the 3rd party tool that we used to facilitate this contest. Their team is working on it but could not provide a definite time yet. We are aiming for end of this week. Apparently, it was not built for 1+ million contestants. (we are the biggest campaign they ever had including the campaign they did for Bruno Mars). Therefore, we don't have an exact time estimation yet since technicalities are blocking us to do proper validations on users. We will give an update when we have more information.

    VPN Beta - How is progress towards further on-boarding more users going ?

We will on-board an additional 15 Beta users this evening. Gathered around 200 “pieces” of feedback from the current user-base. We aim to on-board more tomorrow and during the rest of the week. We cannot wait to be able to remove the VPN so that on-boarding is easier for everyone.

    1.0 Release - Is this still planned for latest 1st July & will it truly be open for all at this point ?

This is the launch of a series of weekly news updates where you can read all about our team’s progress and challenges. Through this newsletter we want to provide our community with more small and frequent updates so that everyone gets a better understanding of what we are currently working on.

During this week we have on-boarded over 50+ new Beta users that are currently heavily testing the product’s performance and functionalities. Unfortunately, the current Beta users have to deal with the user-unfriendly VPN in order to access the Beta, the team is working hard to get our security up to a level so that we can remove the secure VPN and open the Beta for the public. As for now, we will keep inviting more users that will be allowed to share their experience with the rest of the community.

What happened last weeks in team Blockport:

The founders of Blockport visited Malta to talk to banks, payment service providers and e-money institutions. In some cases, we are now in the progress of due diligence and client on-boarding.

We had 12 interviews for our various open positions.

We are extremely happy to announce that Nienke Jolien Norden has joined us as our new HR manager!

We delivered the SEPA deposit feature in the Beta. All Beta users will soon be able to deposit Euro’s using a SEPA money transfer.

We improved our onboarding flow as a result of Beta feedback. Several security improvements have been implemented as of today. We are getting there!

The small amount of features that are still missing for the 1.0 release will be added in the coming weeks causing the Beta to gradually change into the full product. Marketing Momentum

Together with the team, including our new Brand & Marketing manager Chris, we are working around the clock to build up marketing momentum in the coming weeks to create awareness and press exposure for our product release. The marketing activities include:

    International press release.
    Advertising campaigns across multiple social media channels.
    Influencers reviewing the platform and sharing their experience.

We noticed that the instalment of the VPN caused unwanted hassle for every Beta user so far, therefore we have decided to not invite any influencers before we go live next week. It is important to let our influencers experience the platform as it should be experienced.

I though I'd finally get to try it today but after creating an account, it seems I have to wait for activation because it's in Beta and they seem to want to control the flow of new accounts.

If no major issues are encountered that impede Blockport’s functionality, security or performance, Blockport will double the amount of on-boarded users compared to the past week.

Blockport did a lot of DevOps improvements, focusing on ease of deploying their services as well as testing their changes before they move on to production.

The social trading component doesn't seem to be available at the moment, what options we get are "Buy and Sell, Exchange, Wallet". "Buy and sell" stands for fiat/crypto exchanging.
But I can't trade at all at the moment because it says I'm not verified. I uploaded the required documents about 2 or 3 days ago and today I tried to connect but it's still asking me to upload the same documents, I guess something went wrong with uploading the first time? I don't know, I'll check later.

Blockport token's value and future utility


In response to some questions raised in the community, we would like to provide more clarity regarding Blockport tokens’ (BPT) value and its utility in this brief article.    

The Blockport project is now officially live for six months and a lot has happened since January this year. After a half year in existence, Blockport managed to do a successful fundraising that sold out within 12 minutes, expanded the team from 8 to 35 people and built a working fiat-to-crypto exchange that is easy-to-use on mobile and desktop.

Blockport aims to become a social crypto exchange that will eventually be built on a hybrid-decentralised architecture. The social trading features will enable users to follow or copy each others portfolio or trading activities and turn Blockport into a knowledge-sharing platform where BPT can be used to pay for these premium features.

The hybrid-decentralised architecture allows us to trade on multiple external exchanges while storing users' funds on the blockchain. This way Blockport can access liquidity from external exchanges and securely settle it in a decentralised way.

Product roadmap

Right after we launched the first version of the Blockport platform we also announced a new way of communicating our product roadmap. This new roadmap visualizes the product features we are currently working on, and plan to release within the next three to six months.

The following exciting features are being added to the platform soon:

• - A second exchange that allows us to add a significant amount of new trading pairs (most probably this will be Bitfinex or Binance)
  - A first version of the social trading features (trader profile page where you can share your trading results with the community or social media and earn BPT as a reward)
  - Add credit cards as a new payment method with additional fiat currencies (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

Despite all these milestones and exciting new developments we noticed that the sentiment among BPT holders has decreased recently. Therefore we would like to take the opportunity to explain the Blockport token's utilities and future value for us as a company and the community.

BPT's Social Trading Utility

Blockport aims to become a social cryptocurrency exchange that combines the aspects of trading, knowledge-sharing and social media in one easy-to-use platform.

The social trading features that are developed within the next six months will enable users to follow or copy each other's portfolio or trading activities, where BPT is used as a means of payment.

Everyone can "open-up" their Blockport profile to other people using the platform and invite others to start following them in return for an X amount of BPT. As a lead trader you can set the amount of BPT that you wish to receive from followers.

Being a lead trader, you can share your trading activities, performance, strategy and portfolio with your followers and earn BPT as a reward. This way, beginner traders can learn from experienced traders and experienced traders are incentivised to share their knowledge with beginners.

To clarify, the social trading features are especially interesting for (professional) crypto influencers that have a large following on social media, because Blockport will offer them a platform where they can directly earn BPT by sharing their trading strategies with their followers. This way we are bringing together social media and finance on one single platform.

To summarise quickly: If more users want to use the Blockport Social Trading features to follow their favourite crypto influencer or professional trader this will drive the demand for BPT.

BPT's Discounted Trading Fees Utility

The Blockport token can also be used to pay trading fees at a substantial discount. This feature will be built in natively. The exact discount amount is yet to be determined.

BPT's Higher Limit Utility

On the Blockport platform there are deposit and withdrawal limits. If you are a BPT holder you will be rewarded with higher limits for your account. Currently, we have a first implementation of the concept where you can send a small amount of BPT to proof that you have BPT to be able to unlock the tier 2 verification, which allows for higher deposit limits. In the future, the higher limits utility will not be based on a one time fee but instead will require you to hold a minimum balance of BPT on your account if you wish to have higher deposit and withdrawal limits.


Blockport token shop

As described in the white paper we have allocated an amount of BPT that can be bought by users on the Blockport platform in the token shop. This token shop will be temporarily implemented to enable users to buy BPT while the internal exchange is still in development. The token shop allows users to buy BPT directly on the platform so that they can seamlessly use BPT for the platform's premium features during the development stage.

BPT can be bought in the token shop with Euro directly on the Blockport platform. The price will be slightly above the average market price, to protect current BPT holders. Once the internal exchange is implemented we will dismantle the token shop and offer multiple markets for BPT natively on the platform.

BPT Referral fee

Just like PayPal, Uber and AirBnb, we will reward everyone who successfully invites new users to sign up for the Blockport platform. The referrer will always receive his referral fee in BPT.

BPT Listing fee

Currently, Blockport's coin listing process is limited by the trading pairs that are supported by the external exchange we currently integrate with. Once we integrate the Blockport platform with multiple external exchanges and/or have our own internal exchange up and running (work in progress, see roadmap for more info) we intend to have a listing process for new coins and tokens on our platform. Blockport envisages only accepting listing fees paid in BPT.

Conclusion

The token shop and utilities described above should strengthen the direct link between Blockport's performance and BPT. Blockport intends to integrate BPT with the platform to the fullest extent possible.

*As the platform is in full development and we cannot predict the future, we may later decide to alter the functionalities and utilities described in this article.

How comes that in the BETA you don't have crypto wallets addresses for depositing coins yet?

So far we're only able to deposit Euro, exchange it for coins but we're not able to withdraw the coins, right?
I've read in your post that at the moment you're integrated with another exchange, will this keep working like that until you make an exchange system of your own?

You can already withdraw your coins from the exchange, depositing coins will be enabled during the next three months.

At the moment blockport is only connected with Bitstamp, but we will add more external exchanges in the future. Additionally we are already develop our own internal exchange system.

The Blockport Beta platform allows users to purchase different cryptocurrencies in Euro directly through the platform. Currently the Beta platform allows users to buy Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Ripple (XRP) with Euro.

Very nice update!

Blockport will integrate as a second external exchange a Bitfinex - first integration was already done with Bitstamp. These are the top 20 exchanges by volume! And Bitstamp is one of the biggest fiat gateways atm.

Can maybe someone explain a little better what actually is second external exchange? Does that mean that all buying and selling orders on these two exchanges will also be visible on the Blockport? Is fee than more expensive on Blockport than on actual, original exchange? How is the integration possible (it seems that it is a very complicated process)?

As many of you know, the Blockport platform is connected to external exchanges in order to aggregate liquidity and offer our users the best possible prices to buy and sell cryptocurrency.

Next to Bitstamp, we are very excited to announce that we will be officially integrating Bitfinex as a second external exchange. This means that we can list a broad range of new coins and tokens to our platform in the upcoming months!

In total, Bitfinex supports 90+ crypto tokens and coins with high liquidity, which can potentially be added to the Blockport platform.

The listing process will be gradual and dependent on numerous factors such as legal, regulatory and marketing strategy. We are very much open to get in touch with all projects that have their coin or token listed on Bitfinex, so that we can thoroughly plan their listing on Blockport.

Increased deposit limit

In line with the Bitfinex integration, we are also happy to confirm that our deposit limits will be raised from 2.500 EUR per user, to a monthly limit of 50.000 EUR per user once the Bitfinex platform is integrated. This will greatly open our doors for larger traders to use the Blockport platform!

Blockport future roadmap

Despite the recent decline in the crypto markets, extremely exciting times are ahead of us, and we are continuously improving the usability and functionality of our product. Keep an eye on our roadmap to stay up-to-date with our progress.

Apart from the Bitfinex integration, we’re currently working on the first version of our ‘social trading’ features, native BPT/EUR trading pair, credit card support and many more functionalities.

Two questions for the team,

1) What happened with the ARK collaboration? Did you scrap the idea of creating your own exchange system using the ARK ecosystem and you'll instead work through Bitfinex and other exchanges?

2) Are you planning to use any coin other than BTC and fiat as base? Personally I'm interested in the XRP as a base currency.

I am not part of the team, but I can (maybe) partially answer the first question.

Ark collaboration is still on going. The secondary, external exchanges (Bitfinex etc.) has nothing to do with it, as these are just tools to have the liquidity (very important especially at the beginning). I think Blockport (as many other projects collaborating with Ark) is waiting for the ARK CORE v2 (very important component), which is now at 81% and is expected to be fully completed in Q4 2018.

Interesting approach. Instead of paying the fees in BPT (and burning them), like Binance, you just need to hold them now... The main difference here is (if I understand correctly) that BNB is essentially a security token, while BPT is trying to be just a utility token. That is a big plus for Blockport, mostly because of the legal issues. Good call.

The important utility-usage of BPT is not holding it for reduced fees though, it'll be used as a payment/compensation for social trading.

I don't know the details but I believe the usage is obvious...
1) If you're a successful trader with proven history, people subscribe with a BPT fee and every trade you do will be copied to your subscribers.
2) If you have some funds to invest but you don't have time to follow the market or you don't have trading skills, just see a leaderboard of best traders, choose one and subscribe by paying in BPT.

How elastic are you with the listing fees? For example say that there's a new project with low market cap which didn't run an ICO and the premine was equal to 1 week of mining. The team is getting 1% of the block-reward and is offering another 2% of the block-reward to charity.
Would you review this project and consider listing them for a very small fee?

Blockport listing is actually getting quite serious. First EOS, now NEO... I wasn't expecting so much good listings so quickly. I mean, what these are actual cross chain listings settlements are much harder than just some ethereum token listings.

I am waiting for that ARK listing. ARK/FIAT pair would be huge for the ARK community, which is quite big...

We’re happy to announce that FIAT withdrawals have been enabled on the Blockport platform!

Traders can now withdraw funds from their Euro wallet directly to their bank account.

With the upcoming BTC deposit implementation this will enable users to benefit from Blockport's fiat gateway both ways.

All the listings are great.

But what is your plan on marketing and when? Will marketing be pushed after the "social media" feature? After availability on the site to "follow" someone's portfolio?

There are millions of new exchanges and how will Blockport differentiate to have a successful marketing?

We are already ramping up marketing efforts. A referral bonus programm will be added to the platform shortly. Further product marketing efforts will be integrated when the social trading features go live. And we are looking for experienced traders / influencers to attract them to the platform (can't tell you any names, sorry).

When are you planing for social trading features to go live?

Atm, the exchange is very simple (which has it's pluses too), but to attract experienced traders which we could follow with our portfolio the exchange would need to have more complex trading tools. Good graphs, limit order, entry and 2 exits out of position (with stop-loss integrated)... Will you be developing exchange also in that direction?

I'm holding a few BPT and I'm hopping you'll go the same path as some other exchanges, allowing people to stake their holdings in order to receive rewards from the trading fees, if you do I'll increase my holding and put them in stake.
Reducing the trading fees by for BPT holders isn't that great, the fees are already low anyway.

What have we achieved in 2018, and what’s coming next?

Cryptocurrency listings

When our platform first launched, we humbly began with the listings of a few leading cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ripple.

Over the past few months, we’re happy to have added EOS, IOTA, NEO, Aelf, Tron, BPT and Zcash to our platform, which resulted from the integration with three leading exchanges.

Many of the teams from these currencies have been greatly supportive, and we’ve engaged in marketing partnerships, announcement collaborations and cross-community AMAs that have helped to grow our own ecosystem and community.

With 12 cryptocurrencies now live on the platform, we’re looking forward to continuously grow this list over the upcoming months.

The Blockport Token

Our very own Blockport Token, BPT, has recently also been listed on our trading platform. Users can buy and hold BPT in order to qualify for a discount on trading fees. Find out more.


Blockport’s Referral Program

Our Referral Program is live! Users can now earn 10 Euros for inviting friends and family to use Blockport. The Rewards Program is two-sided, meaning both the existing user (referrer) and the new user (referee) will receive a 10 Euro bonus in BPT. Find out more about the Referral Program.


FIAT Gateway Withdrawals

The current Blockport version allows users to make direct trades with Euro and other leading trading pairs.

This includes instant iDeal payments for Dutch users, SOFORT payments for other European citizens as well as bank wire transfers and Revolut payments for UK users. These different payment gateways enable fast access to the platform and immense ease of use.

Following this feature, it took time to ensure the converse functionality: Euro withdrawals. With security as a primary focus, we’ve been able to ensure that users can safely and smoothly withdraw the Euros in their Blockport accounts directly into their bank account.

This feature has now been finalised and activated, meaning users can now deposit and withdraw Euros in and out of their Blockport accounts.

Euro withdrawals also go hand in hand with the upcoming feature of BTC deposits, as it allows users to sell their crypto holdings in exchange for Euros directly on the Blockport platform.


Knowing our Customers

From the start, our team has been committed to building KYC and AML processes that not only adhere to the regulatory frameworks around cryptocurrencies, but that also provide our users with a frictionless and hassle-free signup experience.

Despite this making our product more complex (both for users and for our development team), we’re happy to have taken it upon ourselves. The outcome of this approach reflects in the ratio of users that go from signing up to actually trading - a metric which we’re pleased with.


The Blockport Academy

With the goal of facilitating a wider-spread understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, the Blockport Academy is our own user-learning platform.

The Academy explores the history of cryptocurrencies, the meaning of ‘distributed ledger technology’, and a broad range of other interesting and informative learning materials about the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. It’s an ideal introductory platform for anyone looking to broaden their knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrencies, or for someone looking to impress their friends at an upcoming dinner party.

What can you expect from Blockport in 2019?

With the new year at our doorstep, we are preparing ourselves to further expand the Blockport platform with both small and large upcoming features that allow our users to take part in the new digital economy with even greater ease and safety.

In the short term, think of cryptocurrency deposits, additional fiat currency (USD, GBP) deposit methods and trading pairs, additional listings of crypto assets, social trading features and developing our own internal matching engine.

In the long-term, think ‘decentralising’ specific components of our trading platform to combine the best of both worlds - realising a hybrid-decentralised platform.

As part of our 2019 growth trajectory, we’ll be opening up the platform to users outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

This will mean that users from around the globe (apart from certain countries) will be able to use Blockport and join our community of users.

Just like with our current users, we’ll continue to make our product roadmap as inclusive as possible - letting our users help determine which features they’d like to have built, or which currencies they’d like to have listed.

Having integrated our platform with multiple traditional banking partners since our inception, we’ve experienced first hand the many barriers that still exist between everyday people, the traditional world of finance and the new digital economy of cryptocurrencies. Therefore, our 2019 roadmap includes building additional solutions to better facilitate the move to cryptocurrencies across the board, starting with fiat-to-crypto transfers. More on this will be shared in the new year.

Next to our product roadmap, we are also in the process of raising our first round of equity investment to fuel our growth in the coming years. Expect an update on this in January.

All in all, Q1 of 2019 will be a very exciting time for Blockport, with many upcoming milestones in the pipeline to look out for.

A final reflection

Overall, 2018 has been a year of immense growth for us. Since you don't have the Social Trading module online, I believe you should give an extra usage to your token.

The team has been careful not to give the BPT token any use-cases which could classify it as a security - for example profit sharing

Oooh that's a good idea! I hadn't think about it since a lot of other exchanges to that. I guess things are very fluid at the moment and even though there are no problems with profit sharing at the moment (at least if you're not stationed in US... maybe?), there could be big implications in the future.

Is it already known under which jurisdiction the Blockport Security token will fall?
How come that the investment does not fall under AFM supervision and what does that actually means? There will be no prospectus for this retail STO?

Well written Whitepaper. Quite tech savvy and detailed.

However, I am missing key information here. There is absolutely no information about the STO: How much of the company are you selling, softcap, hardcap, token value, which jurisdiction will be confirming this token to actually be a security? Will the investors be engaged in profit sharing, voting rights...?

Absolutely no information... Only information about the so called STO is "No licence required. No prospectus required." which is really worrying and makes me think that this is just another ICO and not an actual (and confirmed by the regulator) STO...

Interesting seems that they have based their STO on the Depository Receipt legal term or financial instrument. I guess the concept makes sense. I just don't know how will the forbid OTC trading between EEA and US clients.

Nice interface, great idea, good technology (as far as I could tell)... but people just didn't trust them in their STO. :-\

This serves as a reminder to be careful of ICOs and STOs, and whatever other incarnations of fundraising that arise, and to stick to projects with actual working products. Promises of development just don't cut it anymore - the platform has to be ready and functioning.

Exit scam!

I definitely dont agree with anything exposed here. I am BPT token holder and will continue to be, for the good and for the bad. They have a great user friendly product(already running) and they also have the first mover advantage etc... Please, we need to differentiate between a scam and a running company(with office, team, product) that doesnt have enough capital to develop the daily activity. This means that once they do have this capital, everything will start again with that available capital, stronger partnerships or maybe even another company that adquires BPT. It has more sense to say that than say that BPT is a scam. We come from a bear market, and lot of companies run out of funding, that doesnt mean that they are scams, only that they need investors to continue with the activity. BPT, in my opinion, will be one of those that will get easily good investors. Its current price is 0.007$ for a company that came out of ICO and only lived through a bear market... I personally see it as a great opportunity to buy now, risk/reward ratio is huge, you can get a HUGE ROI on this rigth now. Lets say you decide to risk 250$ only, you could buy about 30.000BPT. In the worst case you lose 250$, and in the good??? You get a huge return. All of this, having in mind once again, that there is product, there is team, there is community, there is users, there is office etc...There is no money?OK, how much time will a big company with a lot of capital take to invest in a company like BPT and risk a little part of their portfolio on Blockport? In my opinion more than 1! We will see.

I don't see why would it rise though. The company's announcement was clear: no product release for the foreseeable future, and if anything is released it'll be at least a year later.
In the meantime of 1 year, real project could surge to 10x levels, so why would I hold BPT and hope for a miracle? I might as well put a automatic reminder to buy it in 10 months when it should be even cheaper, but my guess is it won't exist in any exchange by then because if the team is no more, then KuCoin will delist them sooner or later.

At any point I said that BPT will raise in price or when will it do so, you say one year will take them, but actually their official communicate said something different attached under, please read it. They also admitted that Q3 2019 they would announce something about what theyve decided about BPT's future. Look, Imnot BPT lover at all, first of all because Im not emotional in terms of crypto, or I try not to be. I Just said to main things:1)that its definitely not a scam like many people were saying. A scam runs away with your money. BPT said the things to face, admitting that they are passing through capital problems, like thousands of companies in the history of the world, that years after are covered of gold. Apart of this they have a runningproduct,office,existing team and users etc a scam company doesnt...that has a value to the eyes of any investor who wants to divresify their portfolio and buy BPT or part of it.
2) As an BPT coin holder to my eyes it looks also an attractive opportunity, I believe that without risking so much money you can potentially make huge gains IF positive feedback is given from Core team memebers. Is it risky? Yes a lot, like everything in crypto. BUt high risk=high reward, and here potentially I see possible big gains. If you want to buy in one year or not buy at all, I dont care. The fact is that you never know if price will boom in 2 months or in 12, or even if it will boom. It could be that the company disappears and nobody finally invests, but the core team offically said that they are studying different options and Q3 they will pronnounce themselves, and in the meanwhile even if operations will be paralized, they will maintain product improving. To my eyes it is a company that goes to the face and says the truth, which means that to my eyes is a good idea to put 100$-500$ into it, having in mind that product is there the same that it was 1 months ago, but more than 10 times cheaper. NO financial advice and no buying recommendation, Its only what i will do, because even if they have no money, apparently they are going with the truth; if what they said again is true in the next months someone will invest in BPT and then price could bounce drammatically. If by any case Im wrong(which could also be) then I will lose 250$, but I will lose them happily, because Its the sweet spot to get behind a project....when there is fud all over, no money and anything. BUt there is a promise from the team in getting back to us Q3 regarding posisble investors, and that for me is worth risking a little of money, ROI can be drammatic, if not I lose 250$...As I said, for me worth the risk IN THIS CASE...







Future of Blockport
As a responsible but unfortunate measure, we have decided to drastically scale down our operations and development. Running our operations and platform as-is without a substantial investment is currently not an economically viable and responsible option.

Though we will not stop passionately pursuing Blockport’s goals and vision, the current situation requires us to take the platform offline at the end of this month and the core team of Blockport will focus its resources on developing the platform in stealth mode. At this point Blockport is not able to generate sufficient revenues to support a full scale operation and therefore, we will now focus on expanding the platform with unique and value-adding technological features, that strengthen our business case for a potential future restart.

We are already in touch with several parties that have shown interest in supporting a restart of Blockport in the future. However, the form or business structure is still unknown and subject to ongoing negotiations.

The interface and overall platform of Blockport have proven to be very effective in terms of conversion rates and overall user experience, and we plan to strategize around this unique selling point in future plans.

sad, but true.

Yes it is, they've closed shop and they are supposingly working on the development in a slower pace with a smaller team and on a smaller scale... But to be honest I believe this is crap and they won't be releasing anything.

If they had stick with their initial plan to work with ARK.io and bring a social trading platform, that'd have worked great for them. But for more than a year they were in an identity crisis and their developers were also incopetent probably... After so long their update were few and minor.

Where is it even traded? I believe it's so thinly traded that just 50€ buying can send the price 150% up! Then someone sells 100€ and sends it 80% down!

(80% down after 150% up is lower than it was before the 150% up, right? Maybe... I guess so!)

The reason the price seems like its rising is Coinmarketcap is putting Bibox Blockpool data as BPT, as Blockpool is double the price it has made BPT look like its much more expensive. had strange surprise looking at my shitcoin dust on Ethplore(same on etherscan). 1000 Blockport i had left over from this disaster is priced at $690 and Blockport is called Bux Platform Token.

edit: seems BUX bought out/took over BPT, not tried yet but seems tokens are accessible on binance chain
