So, today I accessed my account and found that I have received negative trust from two users, DiamondCardz and TradeFortress.

As you can see, it's clear this TradeFortress person told DiamondCardz to leave me negative trust, he seems to want me to chat 'off-site' which I do not feel comfortable doing.

I have search the forums and found a number of scam accusations against this TradeFortress so I have decided to block him as I think he is trying to scam me.

It's also clear that DiamondCardz blindly left me trust without actually believing it too.

Can I ask a mod to please remove this fake feedback? I have not scammed anyone and do not see any reason to warrant negative trust.

Mods do not remove trust ratings, all that can happen is that an admin removes you from the trust list.

I still don't fully understand, what are you saying? I deserve negative trust because I am a premium member? I did not pay for this account I registered it here, it is a free one.

So what happens in a case like this? I have never contacted either of these people before and they are allowed to leave me negative trust?

And TradeFortress wants to communicate off-site, I think he wants to scam me ask for money to remove it or similar. How is this allowed The trust system here is flawed.

He is free to contact me here on this thread or via pm, I will not communicate with him off-site as I believe he is attempting to scam me, I want the moderators to be able to retrieve all the messages he sends me.

and he hope's the one who scammed his Wallet, made a mistake somewhere.

I have seen a lot of people given negative trust even though they have done nothing wrong there are a few people on here ( not pointing names ) with 10+ alt accounts doing it

I would like to mention that I have recevied pms from other members saying that TradeFortress does things like this all the time, one member in particular claimed he owns multiple accounts...

I have asked for their permission to these pms but they said no, but mods are free to check and verify.

I just checked and have negative feedback from an obvious scammer myself. I just let it be.

If you care about this, pursue it by contacting TF how he asked you, if not leave it be. No-one here can or will do anything about it.

If you use IRC without SSL (most do) he can see your IP/ISP by clicking your Name.

TradeFortress has now accused me of being an alt of scotaloo :( this is very unfair, this is obviously untrue. This is my only account.

I had a feeling, I knew something was wrong when I visited that site and it told me tor was not allowed, lucky for me I used a proxy to connect.

Now what about the scammed wallet, can you explain this please? lots of people have been pming me about TradeFortress, he hasn't asked for any money, but I feel like I should create a scam accusation against him, he seems very dishonest and refuses to remove the trust.

Report this to a mod and they can publically confirm.

Yes, thats why he told DiamondCardz to post the trust too, read the pms DiamondCardz blindly agreed without even checking for themselves and never even mentioned scotaloo. He should not have 'trusted' feedback either.

I have been contacted by a friend, he has proof that the netzwerg account that has been used for shady things. I told him to contact a mod.

I apologize for not being able to publicly disclose the evidence or the sources. However, the people with an appropriate need to know (ie not the peanut gallery) has already been notified.

It appears that other investigative efforts have also uncovered the same thing. :)

Mods can't IP check or remove false trust ratings, only theymos can do that.

Also, the whole point of the trust system is so that you cannot remove others' ratings.
If someone rates poorly, they will not be trusted.
(On a side note, I wonder if anyone trusts me)

What I find odd about all this is that "Diamond Catz" or whatever is a default trusted guy on Theymos's list, yet this 15 year old is on my ignore list for some reason.

He's in Tomatocage's Trust list and Tomatocage is in theymos's trust list and "DefaultTrust" List.

False. I am not under Tomatocage's trust, I was put under theymos' trust when TF was removed from DefaultTrust. All of the people he trusted were placed under theymos, probably to prevent a collapse where a lot of scammers had their negative ratings removed.

I'd prefer if you are less cryptic, and most of my information were shared with certain global moderators and theymos specially. It's hard to find who to trust.

(For one, I have actual evidence in the form of BitMessages which should be verifiable with cryptography but it's still uncharted territory)

Surely if you have "evidence" that netzwerg account has been sold to a phishing ring, you would be free to post this evidence here? This would be more damning to the phishing ring (and netzwerg) than your basisless, unsubstantiated claims that you have put out so far... Even if it were slightly redacted (names for example), and then the unredacted evidence could be sent to the mods/admins as appropriate.

At the moment, I hate to say it, but it sounds like something could happen to anyone; have their account tagged as "sold to a phishing ring" by another member, then Tradefortress and his cronys will all give you a negative trust rating with no explanation.

I am just playing advocate here, obviously I am not privy to any of the "evidence" collected, nor to netzwerg and his actions... Just when you feel like it is something that could happen to you, then you will speak up.

Or else, I am just being played by netzwerg, who is doing a poor job of sneakily buying a trusted account and trying to phish for info, in which case, TF et. al. I thank you for looking out for me and others on here, even if you appear to be playing judge and jury (but not quite executioner) :)

DiamondCardz you are on the right track with identifying scammers, however you're accuracy is becoming poor at best. you negged this account mistakenly in the HollowInfinity thread. you can contact TF to inquire about my identity. there is alot more going on here then most of us understand at this point but we have narrowed this group down to a list of people, and we caught them coming of of tor exit nodes and traced them all the way back to [country ommitted]. keep up the good work and i will keep helping as needed.

when you exit a tor node onto a website, logging in exposes your real ip address briefly you can use ARIN, APNIC or in this particular case, I used RIPE to trace him back to his country of origin and actual IP address. He lives in Europe. What is unclear is whether he is carrying this act out on his own or a group is leveraging him as a lackey to carry out there dirty work, or if thats all just a guise and its one guy. what we do know is where he lives, who he is and his ISP has been notified.. that is all you need to know

You need to be more specific and explain every little detail about who you are and what you're doing. Or we can just assume things about you. Without further details from you, I'm assuming you are an hacker and that you hacked the forum.

I need details about that Tor exploit and which website was it that let you grab the real IP of someone using Tor and how they're doing it (js, LSO's, what?)

IPs are so fucking overrated. Most information can be gained about a person by careful pattern matching in regards to their behaviour. Reasons for choosing certain "names", peculiarities of speech/writing, specialization of interests, behavioural patterns all, flaws in their chosen internet persona all deliver information that is extremely useful to track down the person behind the account.  This is especially true for young wanna-be-hackers with their need for approval and recognition and their absolute (and misplaced) trust in the superiority of technology. Recognition requires repetition and indentification. The trail from that carefully built identifiable persona to the person behind is often much shorter than most imagine.

Oh, I like to know who to stay away from. And right now, you and your buddies seem to be the kind of persons I wish to stay away from, much more even than said phishers ring. With phishers I expect to be phished. With you guys I'm going to be phished with the excuse "it's for your own good/to protect the community" if I use any of your services, which appear to be honeypots.
So, please tell me, which website is it that has some exploit on the login form that tries to find the user real IP if he's using a proxy. Or do I need to go dig on all of TradeFortress's websites to find which one?

Nope, also untrue. IP addresses are obviously collected but that's true for pretty much every site. There's no "de-tor" code anywhere on my sites.

Inputs & CoinLenders has no Google Analytics on purpose.

This may be a slight tangent, but I have a question for you folks. Is it possible to manually override a person from your trustlist? I don't want marketplace trust to be based off hunches, and some people are clearly culprits of giving negative trust based off hunches.
