The pool requires an invitation but currently you can request an invite at our site http://www.liteguardian.com and we will e-mail you an invite asap.  You can also be invited by an existing member. (Invites are currently open but eventually invites will be closed so that the only way to join is to be invited by an existing member).  You can also request an invite in this thread and we will PM you an invite.  You could also stop by our site chat and request one via the channel bot with .invite <email> - Best way to request  an invite is via the link on our site though.

Hi, i am just getting into litecoin mining and have decided i want to use a PPS pool (with as low as fee of possible of course)  I am thinking I am going to try yours because in my research you offer the lowest fee for PPS and VARDIFF.  My reading tells me that i want vardiff.  Can you tell me how vardiff will help me? I dont fully understand it I just know that its good. The only thing I care about is minimzing network traffic, am I correct in understanding that it helps with that?

Yes absolutely correct, VARDIFF cuts down on network traffic.  It monitors the traffic generated by your workers and adjusts the difficulty to suit them best.  It reduces network traffic, reduces load on the server, can reduce rejects and is even more important for low hashrate miners.  We allow setting your min and max diff or you can leave it default and let the system manage the difficulty for you.

We have now upgraded our pool software to allow setting not just the Minimum and Maximum difficulty of a worker but also the starting difficulty of the worker.  This is huge for slower miners who might not get a share in fast enough for VARDIFF to trigger (vardiff normally requires 1 share to start working) but now, it sets the difficulty on connection to your starting difficulty and you start mining at that right away.

can you please tell me the  best difficulty settings for a 7950 on your pool thanks

It's best if you set the minimum to be around 64 and the maximum to be 256. The server will automatically find the most optimum diff and assign it to you.

First I find the first VGB block for Nuggets (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=256460.msg2835187#msg2835187), then I find a block at #LiteGuardian.

I need to buy a lottery ticket. Loving this pool. Also, lowest rejects of any pool I've ever mined at:

4008 total accepted shares
3 total invalid shares
0.075% farm wide reject ratio

Just wanted to throw a quick review of this pool for everyone.

Some Statistics--
Time using pool: Roughly 1.5 weeks
Total Paid Out: 252.79682 LTC

All Time Shares: 1627163
All Time Rejects: 743 (0.05%)

LiteGuardian has 3 pool servers now, US, EU, and Asia.

The Pros:
1. Responsive Admins
2. Custom User Interface (its pretty)
3. PPS with a fair fee
4. Fun community (#Liteguardian on Freenode)
5. Low reject rates (very very low)
6. Vardiff

The Cons:
1. Site stats update every ~15 min, but you can just use the IRC bot to get current stats

Ending Conclusion: I like this pool, a lot. I've currently rented out 65MH of my rigs to a friend and I have him mine here too. He's been nothing but pleased so far. He was on wemineltc before and he finds LiteGuardian much nicer. LiteG admins will also implement features for the pool if you ask (and if they're useful). For example, since the site is PPS, we get paid no matter what, regardless of blocks. However, I'm a bit of stats junkie so I wanted to know how many blocks we were actually solving per day. I asked -- 3 to 4 days later, I have block announcements at my fingertips as well as who solved them.

So, pretty sweet pool. Come mine with us... and join 'Team OTC' if you're a #bitcoin-otc user and help us fuck team 'Founders' in the goat ass.

We did a major site update this weekend adding lots of new stats including block stats (for those who requested them), income graphs, team member stats, earnings estimates, actual earnings over past 12/24/48 hours, average hashrates and much more!

Many of these improvements were from your suggestions so thank you guys, keep them coming!

Hong Kong server had an outage due to datacenter issues for about 1 hour last night, we re-routed traffic to the Eu server during the outage, but the HK server should be working fine now, please let us know if you have any more issues with it.  We highly recommend anyone using the HK server to set the USA or EU server as a failover because the internet in China/Hong Kong is not the most reliable, it's been pretty good so far but better to have another server as a failover to play it safe.

Today I've added support to keep track of your LiteGuardian LTC mining wallet balances, and mining hash rates, to CryptFolio (http://cryptfolio.com) (thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192423.msg2890586#msg2890586)). This helps you keep track of mining pool balances over time, and generates reports (such as your overall USD net worth).

Was going to volunteer for the beta, but as its open to users already its now up and running on my 4 rigs with Win 7  8)

This was already the best LTC pool out there, now it has moved another step above. Great work chaps, keep it up.

WOW! This is awesome! This pool was already the best, now it is miles beyond the rest!

yeah i am just at work right now and most things are blocked by our firewall my IT admin woudl get upset if i backdoored is poor settings so i let him think he is smart so he leaves me alone.

We just hit 2GH/S and is now one of the largest PPS Pools. Come and join us.

Hmm, the most instability pool I have mined  :-\
HK server on and off like 10 times a day. And now US servers suck.

If you don't want to waste your hashrate then find another pool, or set this pool as backup only.

I disagree, although I use the EU server. I have mined in this pool for a couple of months now and the EU server has gone down once, in which case set failover as the US and HK servers and chance of full disconnect is almost nonexistent. I have had many more problems with disconnects from single-server pools.

With all of the additional features this pool offers it is by far the top active LTC pool in my opinion.

I use the US server only, no failover setup yet.  It's been solid, autopayouts are quick too!  Favorite pool by far!

You got a user "gmgxas" mining at 2Ghs, do you have any info on it? Do you know how many workers that miner uses ?

p.s. Liteguardian just fixed the user privacy and now you are unable to see gmgxas's nickname in "Team Ruassia", you will now see "60801" as his privacy username.

Still wonder if thats a Botnet or a legit miner with 3000(!) GPU's .....

And if thats a botnet then why is he still mining on the pool ?

As far as I see this botnet gets full support from liteguardian.com.. 

Maybe it's not a botnet, and that's why it gets full support. Shit, I gave away the secret.

Everyone gets rejected shares because of latency when a block is found. Unless you are only submitting 30-300 shares per day, you have nothing to worry about.

There is on such fpga miner that does up to 4GHs.. If thats what you're referring to..

A quick question about Liteguardian:

Is there a way to know the LTC generated by a specific worker over a period of 1 month?

With the pool difficulty always changing, and the worker difficulty also changing, the PPS rate is quite variable over time... Hence, just multiplying the number of shares * the PPS is incorrect to know the generated LTC, as that does not take into account previous changes in Difficulty...

You guys need a pebble watch app. I love liteguardian but the watch app from ltcrabbiit is the only thing making me stay.

There's been a huge drop in this pool's hash rate in the past week, from 12GH/s to 6GH/s  :o

I'm barely making 0.04 LTC a day but the daily estimate is 0.08 LTC. Why such big difference?

They have not updated code that calculates daily estimate since halfing.

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my account, it says "Account expired"... What can I do?

Anyone still mining on this pool? I haven't been able to get a payout for 2 weeks.

This pool is obviously dead and does not support segwit, but for some reason there is still 5GH of hash power mining on it. I just launched a new segwit pool for litecoin so if your still on here switch to arisechickun.com!

liteguardian is no longer paying, the payout stopped working about 3 weeks ago.
I got a few litecoins stuck there and the payouts are not working.

AVOID!!! using Liteguardian it is now an scam site or the site is broken and not being maintained.

What can be used now?

Anyone ever find the guy who ran this pool? I would love to have my coins he stole when it went offline.
