Ofcourse everybody gets a little anxious with this correction. But let's be honest, we needed a correction in this bullish market in the past two weeks.

Why is it time to buy?
- The weak hands are out and many 'stop-limit' orders have been triggered.
- The earlier corrections also were about 30 to 50% without any big news. Perhaps you remember the 5k was reached and it dropped back to 3k? And last month almost 8k was reached and it pulled back to around 5k?
- I'm pretty sure that the 10k barrier wouldn't be broken.

So if you can get your hands on some btc between 10-11k, I suggest you do it.

if the price is going low that is the opportunity to buy what you want to buy any of the coin if price is going down.

I think the price will be stable at $ 10,000 maybe $ 20,000 yesterday is a surprise in the world of crypto but it can not last long, and I'm also more likely to see a stable bitcoin at $ 10,000

Just because it is down, doesn't mean it is a good time to buy. You need to be concerned with it dropping even more, and a lot more. The market is still over evaluated imo , so I will be waiting for some of my coins to hit its target ( my evaluation ) before buying it.

I think it is not the right time to buy a bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is too expensive. I think just wait for a while and watch the flow of the price carefully.

Isn't it late to buy because as of now the PRICE is approximately 12,000 USD, and it tends to go upwards continously. Maybe tomorrow BTC price will go back to its original price.

About one hour ago that was really the best time to buy some extra BTC. I bought extra BTC at 11.2k, because IMHO the 10k will never be reached. So for those who will get the coins cheaper then 11k are the real lucky ones.

I think you're wrong, maybe it's time to buy, because I see the current BTC price goes down, so there's no harm in investing money in Bitcoin, but you have to convince yourself first to do it, if you're sure. to buy Btc do, but if you are not sure, I suggest you do not need to buy it.

Things are uncertain but correction is not! It was not difficult to predict about this correction as the price was almost 1000% up and a serious correction was essential for the stabilization of the Bitcoin. Indeed, this is time to buy but I would recommend buying in smaller quantity and higher frequency because it is unsure that how the future option is going to affect the price, especially when it is going down so keeping this thing in mind, I would pick systematic investment plan while buying.

I think very dizzy when bitcoin prices are high, we would think waiting for the price down to buy. And now when prices are going down we are still thinking to buy waiting for the bitcoin prices to go down again. So when you buy bitcoin? the answer is still thinking.

I agree, and I`m almost ready to buy, of course I will not wait for the price lower thaon $10K, it is impossible I think, too much people are waiting now to get their BTC back with good profit :D

The best time to buy the price has fall down and I think this is the corrections of btc price. Maybe nextweek or anytime price will reoccur to jump again. Those who have bought btc will at this peak of cheap will ofcourse can gain when btc prise rises.

In my view, getting to $10,000 is quite very fast. Actually there's some illogical buyers during that time that pushes bitcoin to its all-time-high around $19,000. I'm good seeing the price at $10,000 though, however the current situation is a complete reversal of what we did see a couple of weeks ago. Maybe it will settle to $10,000 again before people starts buying it back once more. Let's see how it goes.


But the problem is no one knows what is the floor price, it could be $10,000 or $5,000 no one knows for sure. If we keep on waiting for our target price before entering again, you might not see it. A better move is to just buy in small proportions. Unless you have big capital so begin with and starts buying in bulks.

This could still be a good time to buy because we will get back to $19.000 probably some time next year. We may see another drop in the Bitcoin price. Sometimes after a price drop, there's volatility for a while until the price bottoms out. We don't know for sure where that bottom is yet. It may or may not have hit bottom today. Just don't be surprised to see another drop before we have a gradual increase.

I think we should at least wait for $10K before talking about buying in.
This is a very sharp correction and could easily have a second leg.

Well, I provided a nice budget for myself and I will be buying more bitcoins in case of another price decline. I already bought 0.05BTC today. And I will continue this week.

Sometimes, dumps are the chance to get cheap bitcoins.

I'm trying to gauge whether $12k is the bottom of this downtrend or not, but apparently it is still fighting and hovering somewhere between $13k and $12k at this very moment. For me, I'd say wait a couple more hours or a day or two before starting to buy. Who knows how far this dip can go? It is already a good buy but again just to be safe, try to weigh whether the market will still slip down or not.

There's definitely a lot of buying support around that 10k level, and people aren't super foolish. The only reason I'd see people not buying at 10k is if Bitcoin is on a huge drop very quickly. If that's the case, more people are likely to get scared and not invest into the coin.

I guess one thing to take away from this is that it's really similar to the China FUD in terms of how drastic the drop was. For people who are scared about the price, just remember how far back up we made it after China.

I don't think so this is good time to buy. If you still have btc in hand, still hodl it. But if have ready money to buy coins, just wait until tomorrow Monday. Bitcoin still going declined so far, seems will reached $10k till stopped. Some altcoins has been recovery peak, but atleast before end of year there is some good signal.

Just compare this current crash to the crash of 2012/2013; they are like carbon copies of each other.

The previous bubble was predicated on several factors: Winklevoss ETF, technicals, and adoption, etc.

When the actual events came to fruition, BTC was in a bear market.

The Japanese exchanges are the new Chinese exchanges, which reached ATH before BFX, Stamp, etc, just like the Chinese exchanges did back in 2012/13.

A simple nonchalant bad news became the tipping point to the crash just like 2012 when a stupid "Chinese bans bank related btc transactions" news was the tipping point for the multi year bear market.

BTC is entering the same bear market again. No sane investor is going to adopt BTC for a long time to come, if ever.

Yesterday is the right time to buy the Bitcoin because the price went down very low in the market. In short period of the time the price increased very fastly and again reached to some what high price.

Pretty much checks all these boxes right now. The previous corrections as you said have been of a similar extent at the bottom, personally for this reason i think most likely this current correction is over as well by now.

This is how investors make money, when people are on panic grab this opportunity to buy more. We all know the power of bitcoin and I believe it will not dump so hard, then I don't see why people sell on panic. Buy more as long as you could, because your time is running and bitcoin might take off now.

From its last highest price which is in the range of 19K USD, then little by little it goes down 16K USD and I check it a few hours ago, bitcoin is now in the range of 14K USD. This drop is not a joke anymore so yes I also believe that this is the right to buy some bitcoin instead of worrying and panic. After buying, we hold it and wait for the pump. Drop is just because of the price correction. After that, bitcoin seems to pump again and if that happen, we gain profit from the bitcoin we bought.

Yesterday was indeed an excellent time to buy. It was our deepest dip of the year, barely surpassing the excellent buying opportunities in May and September.

It was a great time to take profits in Bitcoin by selling fiat while it was peaking.

If you look at coinmarketcap it shows yesterday that between 14:00 and 15:00 the lowest point was reached (https://imgur.com/a/PtuVF). At this point on Bitfinex it reached $10700,-. That were some lucky guys that bought in at that price! IMHO that will be a price we will not be seeing again in the near future and perhaps never. I feel pretty confident with buying extra BTC at $11200.

I think this is a time to buy Bitcoin because it's rate was varying from $19 k to $15 k around $4000 fall.So when price come very low compare last three days ,this is right time to buy and after Christmas the price was increased as compared to now. Bitcoin dropped to $13000 a couple of days ago, and again pulls uncompromisingly up. So this is the best time to buy a certain amount of Bitcoins. After the New Year comes again climb up price of BTC and the potential profit from the current purchase. I sell some coins and reinvest in Bitcoin now.

Yesterday was a nice moment to buy, but I hesitated a bit as  I wanted to know what would happen today.
We saw a correction yesterday and I think we will see a more severe correction in the beginning of 2018, so for the moment I just hold.

If you look at your initial thought, which you say hasn't been much helpful to you, how do you expect your other prediction to hold any value? There is nothing indicating a more severe correction than we have already experienced.

If you seriously think that the price will go down badly in the beginning of the next year, then you can use the future market to open a short position. If you are spot on, you'll be making a good amount of money.

It's basically something that goes up for anyone expecting the market to tank. With these short positions people can put their money where their mouth is, but thus far people speaking out like that haven't done so, which says enough.

I don't think, there will be any correction. Every time after a correction ends, price rises to a new all time high. So, we should expect another correction after the price passes 20000 dollar.

Yesterday I bought a little bit of doubt of the purchase, but still I overcame them so far there is nothing to regret

what you should have done was to break down your buy orders into multiple smaller parts and placed them on different price levels.
for example buy 30% @$12,000 and buy 30% at $11,000 and 30% @10,000 and 10% at $9000. or even more depending on your investment size or whether you like doing this break down or not. sometimes it helps  catching the good buy opportunities and never miss a buy chance when price has reached the bottom but you don't know if it goes a tiny bit lower or not.

Dollar cost average in, and focus energy elsewhere.  Or after doing your research, put in your limit orders and sit back and relax.  But no one can fortell the bottom it is just a guess.

   I enjoy in watching and following prices on coin market cap. Couple days ago most of
the coins were red and falling, today everything is red. That is not the first time I see
this kind of changes in just day or two.
   Time for buying is when ever prices are going down, that is how I maximize my profit.
I am also confident that price will recover previous ATH and rise more in first days of
January. My goal is much higher than that, so I will keep holding even when we recover,
until then I can just buy more Bitcoins with my money.

Prices have been a joy to watch as of recently, certainly being someone who has been in crypto for the last couple of months. I didn't feel anxious at all. Although the individual price action of bitcoin and several other altcoins was interesting to watch, the coinmarketcapitalization was a lot more interesting to watch. The money moving in and out of crypto has been quite a Rollercoaster to say the least. I'm debating whether I should make a daily analysis of the market movements.

Honestly, this is the best time to buy bitcoin because the current price is low compared in the previous time (in last 7 days the price decreased by 26%). As well, probably that at the end of this month there will be a big jump in price, maybe in 28st December the value will become between 20K and 25K. Also, this is the best opportunity to invest and to hold.

no, the best time to buy bitcoin is when it was on the dip because you can save a lot of money  if you buy it from that phase when compared to buying it anytime of the day. however you can still buy it anytime if you like and if you insist or if you dont mined paying it on a higher price because you can always recovered your invested capital when the time  comes. just keep in mind that theres no such thing as late in bitcoin  because bitcoin  has yet starting and it is still have much time to grow and develop.

its to hard to trust now adays cause the bitcoin growth rate still fluctuated which is not safe to stay hold while you see your profits decreasing also. Indeed that is the common reason why there's a panic selling after the dip. Perhaps to save the remaining profits, and to prevent a huge loss.

Nonsense. If we look back at how much fluctuations this market has gone through in the last years, it perfectly shows that it has zero impact on the long term price. People for once need to distance themselves from being a fiat centric person, and also stop being so short term minded. All dumps we have seen were only of temporary nature, and current levels loudly speak for themselves. There's a good dip that happened for this time before this year ends and that is making the price of bitcoin pulled down again at $14,660. This happened last year too when the year is about to end and guess what, the price surged after that if you'll take a look back on this years chart, January 2017 has been positive so for 2018 I guess this will the same. If you want to ride the train, it's time to buy now.

I think he missed the chance to buy it on Dec. 22 it hits at $12,185 and then rose $1k every day. How come that he missed it when day by day he still got a chance to buy it at a cheap price.

It did missed it for sure that's the dip for this month and I don't think it will fall again to that low next time. And as we are discussing things right now the price went up again at $15,100 that quick. Look on how I said it was $14,660 a while ago and it's now $15,100 that 500 bucks added quickly. So if someone here is still waiting for another good dip, I say that you must buy now or you'll miss it again.

Honestly, there really is no best time to buy. If you want to invest, do it now. But if you can not invest yet, you can do it whenever you can. We all know that Bitcoin prices are always on the rise. And therefore, we will always be able to profit from whatever money we have and any time we use. Do not wait for a price reduction to invest because it is almost impossible and unpredictable. We can only do our best to raise a lot of money and invest as soon as possible. I hope you can understand what I am saying. :)

The dumping of price both bitcoin and altcoins don't stay for long, and we should take advantage on this in buying. We should also considered our own instinct and have a good speculation in our coins, for it serves as courage and to have strong decision when to buy.

Yeah this is really the time to buy, it already drops as what big investors wants to happen so they can put again another amount of their investment. For sure we can see another ATH's next year so this is the chance.

In my opinion, after the slight drop of price in the Christmas season, bitcoin will have it's come back and it's gonna be more stronger and it's value will be going up more that it is before. The reason for this is for me, upon entering the first quarter of 2018, people who sold their Bitcoins before christmas to use the money will buy again back on what's left to their cash. And then, those who missed the opportunity of investing last year will grab it this year and bitcoins is one of the top list to invest in.

Yes,I totally agree with you.It is surely a right time to buy Bitcoin because a drop has been seen in the price of Bitcoin this week .It's current price is approximately 14100$ which is round about 5000$ lower than it's all time high value.So it will be a wise decision to take this drop as an opportunity to buy some more Bitcoin's so that we can sell more number of Bitcoin's at higher prices in future to earn more amount of profit.

I think with the bitcoin price movement up and the current turunya, it would not hurt if we buy on the down even very small, and sell it when the price rises though not too high from what you buy, the Important is always active, rather than waiting long to search big profits, small but sure.

In that case You wont be able to attain that mark. The big dip has executed long days ago. Probably about a 3-4k dollars have been decreased on bitcoin. Cheers to them that is waiting for the right opportunity to buy while in big dip.

14k seems like a good entry point, of course you could have gotten an even better point of entry but we are not that close to the all time high, 14k is still a lot of money to invest in bitcoin so while I still have some money to invest in bitcoin, as the price grows I become more tempted to invest in altcoins instead.

Price is secondary for me, I would take Bitcoin as payment over any other currency right now, crypto and fiat both, simply because I believe in its value and believe it can only appreciate for the long term. Great observation, bitcoin price went down to $11k that was the lowest dip about week ago, and many people were even saying bitcoin price will go back to $8k or $5k because of that many people failed to buy at $11k and now the bitcoin started getting out of the correction. Okay, I thought you would only convert $1 every week which is going to be eaten and will be distributed to a very small fraction of bitcoins as it's price is starting to move upwards again. I want to move all of my savings before but I have no guts of doing it and with the high price of bitcoin now, still I can't do it. But recent news, there are people who moved their savings to bitcoin, all of their savings.

I am not quite sure about that but for sure, a lot of people will be taking on the risks, high risk high profit as they've said it.
