Bitcoin is climbing back again after the big December dip and it seems that people who almost got nervous breakdown when they read that Bitcoin was crashing are now smiling happily again. As just another traditional move for Bitcoin, we have been to a great rollercoaster ride for the holidays.

I am sure this is one of the many ways that Bitcoin is telling us that it is very resilient despite of all the problems it has been carrying on for a long time -- the clogs and the high transaction cost -- and that we should be looking for a better and much prosperous 2018.

Yeah for sure I love the silence of the doubter who is saying that the future of bitcoin is over or dead. Well, I guess that should help them better not to doubt in bitcoin and the power of the cryptocurrency. Now asides from that reason I am also happy caused this means it will be a good year-end for Bitcoin especially now that the price is rising back it's good to sell some of my bitcoins before 2018 comes.

that is the story of years and years of bitcoin price. it always rises in the end.
the funny thing is, in the past 3 years the patterns that bitcoin follows are EXACTLY the same! [1]
- price rises big time
- then a correction starts, it is a simple 10% drop
- then the FUD starts and the weak hands panic. during this time some idiot like freightjoe posts that picture he posted above and say we are on top of that chart and it will go down to $X where x is mostly 80-90% drop :D
- then the biggest dip most of the times is 30% and rarely it goes as big as 40%
- after the dip is over and whales and the rest of the experienced traders were satisfied with the result, the price starts rising.
- FUDsters go into their winter sleep and throwaways stop being created until the rally ends with a big time rise
- repeat of the process again.

Towards the end of the bubble, the fans are becoming entirely irrational - anyone who genuinely believes that the upcycle continues for ever is either delusional or unintelligent - or both.....

of course im so very happy because bitcoin climbing again from the big dip, but not totally happy because the fees are the same lol, any ways we are all investors of bitcoin are got scared from that big dip, i got little nervous to lead that im almost selling my bitcoin, but i have a doubt that this is not go further and sooner or later bitcoin price come back again after this big dip, and like i thought bitcoin climbing back and getting more improvement.  ;D

True. Bitcoin has recovered from a hightime fall. Many has said bitcoin will burst. They have been proven wrong many times already. This is the reason why bitcoin remains strong and no amount of negativity would counter its rise. We are all happy that finally bitcoin is back on its tract.

Of course everyone is happy now that bitcoin is climbing ip again. WITh bitcoin slowly and surely going up the ladder it brings back strenght and attractiveness to other people that is able to give it a new market and a new demand for its stock to rise

What made you think Bitcoin wouldn't revive again? It repeats the cycle over and over 5 steps foward and 2 steps back. You can either buy and hold it for the future or try trading if you think you can make a bit extra.

Yes, it is back to rise mode, looks like it was an correction, dropped to certain level and back to bull mode, bitcoin always has a bigger scope on growth as the popularity gone up for bitcoin crypto currency and  more people investing more on bitcoin now a days , i believe there is a big growth for bitcoin , i hope it will rise further significant level  in the year 2018 , which is an good sign for growth of bitcoin.

When the price dip happened in bitcoin I had no doubt that in short period of time it will rise again and now it's happening. I have made the right decision to hold my bitcoin and now Im seein)my investment continue to grow.

It looks like the price is on the easy rise again but all options are still possible. I don't know what will happen with fork that was announced for tomorrow if this information is true because that might also influence the Bitcoin price.
Anyway, I don't expect some huge jumps before the end of the year, probably the price will fluctuate somwhere between 13000$ and 16000$.

It was one steep roller coaster ride indeed! I am glad that just a few days after Christmas, Bitcoin is gradually rising. This just goes to show that we really have to be patient and keep our faith in Bitcoin as it will always come through despite the huge correction. As the holidays come to its end, the future of Bitcoin is bright. We may experience a small dip as the new year approaches, but this will definitely rise, like how it conquered the Christmas season. For now, let's enjoy this glorious moment of Bitcoin bouncing back.

bitcoin will increase significantly because many users actually use it and are more than millions of users here so bitcoin is rapidly increasing so it's legit so maybe something good comes down, bitcoin price is suddenly because now nothing really stops bitcoin because it really increases because it has the minimum price of bitcoin.

all the doubters had to do was check the history of bitcoins movement and as posted already, bitcoin always recovers.
so during future falls look back at where bitcoin has come from.

For sure i‘m happy, but i‘m not that much suprised, it was just a matter of time.

It is nothing new in crypto. Every dump is followed by a pump and the cycle continues everyday. You can see the repeat occurring if you observe the coinmarketcap graphs where its visible.

Currently a lot of FUD is being spread about crypto and bitcoin and about the economy of bitcoin. People are trying to bring the price down by any and every means possible which is the reason for the recent dump and the pumps.

Of course everyone's happy that Bitcoin is finally climbing back again. I just wish that it will stay here for a long time and hope that the speculations about it being a bubble are not true. I can't help but worry with all of these professional financial experts saying that Bitcoin is indeed a bubble and is about to burst anytime soon. If ever it is true, I wonder what coin will be "the next big thing". I do have a couple of investments in other cryptocurrencies, but of course it would be better if Bitcoin will not be gone.

I suppose we will see another dip on the new year events. Lucky this not a crash just a normal dip as peoples going to take profits and enjoys for their holidays with family.

I am so happy that Bitcoin is now climbing back again.I will now be able to convert the bitcoin that Ive earn in singature campaign into cash in order for me to be able to have enough money for new years celebration.I am so inspired right now to continue to work hard in earning bitcoin because the value of bitcoin is now climbing.

Its always the same. Bitcoin falls a bit due to some random fluctuation and suddenly all the (new) investors starts panicking and call it end of days, and to get out of it. Then it falls and people realize its not the end anyway, and new investors come running to get a piece of the cake.

to be honest i believe that the demand for bitcoin has never been reduced. in fact i believe it has been rising even when the price was dropping. the only difference is that a large part of the people who have invested in bitcoin are weak hands who are affected greatly by FUD and very simply. and that causes a bigger force negating that huge demand. but it is always temporary since the number of weak hands are limited to a smaller percentage even though they are a lot.

Bitcoin price is currently over $14000. I think bitcoin was stuck at a resistance price at 14000$ and as the bitcoin breaks the resistance point then bitcoin will again rise upto $18000+.

Bitcoin will slowly recover. I'm surprised that so many people panic. Many people celebrate Christmas in November so no wonder why many of them decided to sell their BTC. The same thing happened in the past years so I was ready for something like this to happen. The rollercoster ride is still going on and there is no way we can predict how bitcoin will perform this year. The bitcoin as we can has got very slow these days and since last month. I’m sure this is temporary thing and bitcoin will climb back again soon. Before this process could be started bitcoin needs to regain the dominance which it has lost in last month. Most of the alts are doing great and hence obstructing the bitcoin growth.

It slowly regaining some ground and its above $15K again. That's what we are saying all along, bitcoin can really recovered and rebound from such slump. nah, the resistance has been a little higher, more in $15000 level than in $14000 level. and if you look at the charts, price has already been crossing $14k before so it is not new and right now it is struggling with this $15k resistance which was placed there.

i think we still have some time and more rise before we can start talking about $18k and above though.

Volality of bitcoin prices will always have factors pertaining to its demand and supply and with accordance to the news that affects people's perception towards it. I assume that the good news upon the first usage of lightning network is one factor that affects the return to its normal climb. When trust grow, it will regain its popularity and even attract more users. Also, vacation is almost over and I guess people are starting to invest again after the big spending this last few weeks.

This is actually the main reason why we should not be scared whenever the price of Bitcoin gets dumped. Bitcoin's price is being dumped because of some situations. Bitcoin can withstand all of those situations. Bitcoin at a low price is nothing new. Some people never learn. Yes, Bitcoin is volatile, but, it always results on an increase in its value.

It is just recovering from last week's drop which casued by Christmas and New Year Eve holidays. It happens every year, same thing over and over. The reason is need for cash. People needed to cash out some of their portfolio to buy some presents and use it for travel expenses.

I don't think that's the reason at all, transaction fees dropping slightly is probably helping. The price is certainly not higher than before. It is still down over 20% on the previous ATH which was in december.

it is good that this bitcoin is going back to the game this is going to make a very prosperous year if there are new challenges for the bitcoin to come but we will overcome it with a lot of work and with a lot of technological development of the block chain...

Happening quicker than I expected too, so to put on my pessimist cap, this can only be either a burst of buying from people all back from holidaying, or the storm before the calm that people usually can see in January. Either way, it should be a short-lived rally, I know this January shouldn't be like all the previous ones with all the spotlight still trained well on Bitcoin - plus we'll have the first futures contracts expire this month. Yes, all cash settled, but likely to have some psychological impact leading to sell flurries.


Well, once the big exchanges and wallets start implementing LN, then we'll see a lot of positive movement. As yet, mempool hasn't seen levels below 100k for weeks, so this is going to be quite a drought to weather.

Pretty much sure it will rise again after Holidays season. It was a feast time for Altcoins markets and time to yield money to. Just have to take a ride and buy when market is in dip and sell when it is high. Don't sell at loss and wait sometime for coins to recover.

Its not climbing yet, what happened is just the market cap and after that the left over investment really! Bitcoin is completely stagnant for now and it has grow its market cap if it needs to be evaluated for the good prices now. The market is slow for now as people are still having the hang of holidays. They don't have money to invest into crypto. Most of the big whales also invested into different coins like XRP, ETH in short terms trades so that they can regain the profits over the BTC. So there is still little more room for the bitcoin to grow back. It will happen over the next month and to cross the 20K prices it has to capture a big market first.

Bitcoin already had its fall, now it will be massively increasing in January, by the 15th January it'll reach 25k, I'm pretty sure.

I will be the first to say that I am super excited at the rebound. I felt that the dip towards the end of December was pretty much a tax manipulation as the tax laws are drastically changing this year favoring investors.

The price increased for about one day. I wonder sometimes if people actually pay any attention to what is going on. The price is still not close to previous highs and had one day of good growth (the 2nd) to take it from about 13k to 15k. It's nothing we haven't seen already since the crash though, the price can easily fall back to 13k.

definitely will jump to previous highs and will surpass 20k at some point. Price had slight dip around Christmas holidays and that happens each year (so no surprise). Lot folks sell it by the end of the year to buy presents or similar things for they beloved ones.

Probably, Bitcoin will return strongly in coming period, now the price is close to 15k.
 and there is a  progress with a  small value (  rise by 3% In last week). In fact,  this is the Calm before the storm because it is expected that this currency will be more powerful in this year especially after some weeks and in that time may the price will reach 40K also the market cap and the volume  will growth too.

This climbing back was expected as January is recovery month usually.

Last month was the end of the year and every year at this time same things are happening. First price are dropping (holiday season, gifts, travel etc) and in January prices are recovering. So I have to say that I'm not really surprised.

Maybe, or this is just a temporary move. Right now I don't think bitcoins should already be moving as there are still a lot of problems with it regarding transaction costs and the congestion in the network. So I guess this might just be a temporary climb probably people are preparing for a the next pump. Probably the next pump is when news comes out about a possible fork that would fix the current problems of the network. But glad to see these increase right now.

Hell yeah. I was like losing all my hope and trust for a while when bitcoin didn't get to climb back again, I thought it would be a bubble like what i always read on articles.
But now i was glad that i hold and didn't go with the flow which is panic selling, now at least bitcoin made a step forward even though it hasn't fully comeback yet.

Yes, after a long time the price has crossed the $17000 mark. All of the sudden the price fell from the $19000 mark and the same slowly started to decrease reaching as low as value less than $13000. Now once again a forward momentum has been generated and the same has made the value increase further reaching bigger amounts.

I am very happy that Bitcoin has climbed back higher once again. The december correction has been a very healthy one for a long term growth of Bitcoin's price. Markets which only go up are drugged markets, very dangerous. The december correction has shaken off all weak hands and soon the bulls will be in control again. I hope.

It looks like the price is on the easy rise again but all options are still possible. I don't know what will happen with fork that was announced for tomorrow if this information is true because that might also influence the Bitcoin price.

Yes I read some articles bitcoin will drop on december because the holiday is coming so people tend to convert their bitcoin to paper money and I read bitcoin will rise around february but the price now is increasing so expect that bitcoin price will be increase more.

I saw a rise in price today as well. Bitcoin's pricing is making s come back already after the holidays. Quite surprised actually because I thought bitcoins would stay fluctuating until February 2018. I guess the holidays are indeed over and investments are soaring high yet again.

Yea it is good to be back and up and running. There was actually fear in of loss in the mind of most of the community members especially those that bought at the resistance level of early December but now their tension is relaxed.But the issue of high transaction cost and time delay is not going away. yes indeed bitcoin is now recovering back to its regular stable value and yet it still continue to finish its unfinished business on which is reaching another all time high just befor the end of january 2018. i suspected that bitcoin will pass on 20k dollars up to 30k dollars because people these days arent spending thier coins anymore due to the fact that holidays seasons are over but there were still other factors that might affect the price of bitcoin like for example if theres a segwit or hardfork , news/fuds , manipulation on the market, etc.

So there's nothing to worry when you earning in a small amount because you will earn bigger after end of your joining campaign. It is possible that small number of traders was off for the holidays, but i don't think that is all. What is more likely is that most of the traders and some holders wanted to see what will happen with the price and than decide what to do next. So when they have seen that the price is not falling any more, they decided that it is time for buying. Because of that price is on the rise once again.

After taking a big dip and continuous roll down from $19600 to $12600, bitcoin is now bouncing back. Yearend slowdown, profit bookings by investors was pushing bitcoin price downwards. But now that roll down rally is over. Bitcoin investors are back from their holidays, now bitcoin will be on its normal track. Meantime many were predicting that bitcoin is dead, bubble get busted etc. But now bitcoin is bounced back, crypto experts have predicted new targets.   

Market is volatile that's the value is unpredictable and that what makes bitcoins good for long term investment. The concept of marketing is just buy and sell, Invest when there's a down time on the market and sell it again when the value pumps up for you to earn more profit.

But i want to explain you that you people don't need fear when price is falling Because if you judge price graph then price is not falling with a such speed at which its increased. Indeed, this would be another great run we would see. But do not let this thing distract by the fact that bitcoin value also decreasos upto the value you are thinking that would be worst. But a piece of advice, this might be a golden time for the bitcoin holders to take out their money out of the pocket because as time pass by bitcoin value get stable for a short time ranging to 700k - 80k php or peso. But if you are not yet satisfied then wait but do not feel sorry or regretful if you would wait until it reach about 1 Million per 1 bitcoin for a longer of time. Bitcoin's graph as of this writing is contrary for what this OP is all about. That's basically bitcoin is volatile and bitcoin is experiencing yet another market price dip once again. I am just wondering why bitcoin is so stagnant these days and its dominance is getting low. All we do now is just HODL and wait for better days to come.

Bitcoin price is likely reach a new height in the market in February. There are many factors that will make it happen, one of them is the growing war in north korea, it will make people in korea and japan buy more bitcoin.

Any investment risk, the project price is very normal, the price of bitcoin decline I have no doubt, but this is just his normal fluctuations, if fall badly I will reconsider.

Well I predicted this already. I knew bitcoin will be back on track eventually. Bitcoin's value goes low but it is sure to rise up again because of people's interest on what bitcoin can do. It will continue to be on track.

FUDs and FOMOs are really a pain. There have been a lot of rumors about Bitcoin like Bitcoin is a bubble, Bitcoin is going to die soon and such stuff since the Creation of Bitcoin. Due to these, many investors become afraid of this digital currency.

They start doubting its potential. A few end up making wrong decision of selling out. The best is not paying any attention and do whatever you were planning to do.

This is just the nature of bitcoin being volatile and all. This is why we shouldn't panic at all because we all have experienced bitcoin's volatility through the years and we even thought that it is the end of bitcoin, but it's not. I still feel confident with bitcoin and I can guarantee that it will not just fail in an instant and for bitcoin to fall down takes process and a lot of time.

Did you guys check the current price of bitcoin? It climbed yes, but it goes to another market correction again.

I thought that the recovery will last, unfortunately it didn't so I think we need to just hold on a bit and not sell it. Bitcoin price have been in a wild swing as of it and it's really hard to predict the movement. Of course I like to see that it will rise up again, but it looks like we need to wait and have patience. I speculate that investors are really looking at altcoins specially Ethereum and shifting their money onto it, that's why bitcoin is slumping. But I'm sure that they will go back to bitcoin market, let's wait.

Now its time to bitcoin rally for climbing up because recently south Korea finance minister announced that they are going to announce to ban local trading on cryptocurrencies and due to that nees bitcoin price effected little bit but later South Korea govt announced yesterday that they are not going to ban any local trading cryptocurrencies.

most probably because Korean ban saga is over and there are good news coming from the east (Russian ministry of finance is going to legalize cryptocurrecny trading on approved exchanges). Sincerely I hope that Russians will not change their mind.

I think in the near future bitcoin will start to grow again. Now the big players should return to the market after the New Year and Christmas holidays.
After that, I expect the growth of bitcoin to new records.
It is expected that first bitcoin will rise to 30,000 dollars. Then it will grow to 60,000 dollars. In the long term, bitcoin can reach 100,000 dollars.

Indeed BITCOIN is currently shitting on every single alt coin out there and rising and shooting up in marketcap, lets wait for that 0.5 trillion market cap soon
