THis  awful  exange   it's  two  months  I have lost  my 2FA  key  and they  still  don't  solve  my  probem  after having subitted  10k tickets

They really don't  understand  my problem even  after I have told it to  them   10'000 times
Just use  Bittrex,  dealing  with this  awful exange is a pain in the ass

really because its way better than bittrex for me so far!

I have lost my  fucking 2FA  I have  submitted  10  tickets   and  everytime they say:  ''To     log in with  2FA  you  need  google  auth...''


Are  you kidding?  I have told  you     that I have lost  my  2FA key, I can not log in

I use both Bittrex and Binance and I think that both of them are useful as exchanges, but you'll find many horror stories in regards to both sites (and really, most company's customer support is lacking).  I am currently suffering from a customer service disaster from Bittrex where I accidentally created two account and didn't realize it.  The first account I created had nothing on it, but my second account had a huge supply of ADA coins on it, but it was disabled because it was the second account I tried to do the verification for.  So I entered a ticket to tell them they could delete my first account because it was a mistake and had nothing on it, but for some reason, it's taken several replies back and forth for them to understand this and it's been almost a month and they still haven't enabled my account...  If it wasn't for the fact that I'm HODLing my ADA, I'd be very upset they haven't resolved my issue faster.

Every site provide 2FA key when you enable 2FA security, that key is same as your bitcoin private key. Keep it secure, if you lost your device someday, just use that 2FA key in another google authenticator app and login as same before.


I don't know about their support, but I got verified to level 2 within few hours and their withdrawal is also quick. So far great experience with Binance

Lost F2A is yours fall and you could not prove that you the real owner. Dont blaim them for your mistake  >:(

I don't know why you blame them since it was you who lost the key in the first place. -_- Aren't keys supposed to be kept safe from anyone else?

Don't bring down Binance because you made a stupid mistake. Every site that has 2FA warns you multiple times, you even get a one-time recovery 2FA code which your suppose to store securely if you ever lose your 2FA.
What's next are you going to blame developers because you lost your Private key and they won't give it to you?

Have started using Binance just recently but have to say I enjoy it a lot more than Bittrex.

I understand his situation there should be something or a guideline that a user needs to pass through so he can retrieve his account, it is his mistake but it could happen to anybody like newbies in the cybersecurity, support should address this issue as a show of concern to it's traders

Usually it takes a lot of time to get access back to your account with lost 2FA. To solve such problem on Poloniex, my friend waited 1.5 month.

Keep your back up code for 2FA in case somehow you lost your device or so.

Don´t they require KYC when registering?

If you attach your passport picture or whatever they should check it´s really you and help... but i honestly don´t think this situation will be fast solved... and bittrex closed many accounts this year and lot of users reported very slow or helpless support, so i think it would be the same...

While you are wanna upgrading your account into the enhanced account and then you must do to a KYC verification, OP gets problem cuased by he was losing 2fa and it could be recovered by the security code which already given when you were activated the 2fa verification on the binance exchange site.

Dude, Binance is an awesome exchange.
They say you need to safely store your 2fa key somewhere. If you messed it up it is your fault.

...I messed it up too and Binance helped very fast.

I have no account in Binance and still looking for a good exchange many people are posting Binance is good but sometimes we lose our phone and or cannot login to our account, they should have guidelines on how to recover one's account accidental like this do happen.

if you jsut safe your 2fa key somewhere there is no problem at all. You can also install the GAuth add-on @ Chrome browser. So you don't even need a smartphone. (but I would recommend using another device for 2fa, because if your computer is compromised they could get into your account)

Imo the best exchanges so far are Binance and KuCoin. ;)

Why don't we use Binance? It's the best exchange right now in the business.
It's your fault to lose your 2FA. Why don't you take backup for both key and qr code? Are you really that lazy? You don't even care about your account. Don't come here to bash the best exchange in the business.

10k tickets, are you kidding me? I think you've made the mistake of making so many tickets and that's what makes the binance support team bewildered, because you made a spam ticket.

If you lose 2FA. That's your fault. The site has warned you to copy the Key to keep it safe for such cases. Binance is a good and big exchange platform. Never lower this platform because this error belongs to you.

I don't think people will shift from Binance into another Cryptocurrency Exchange based on your accusations and I don't think Binance is having the same issues like yours. The Best thing about Binance over EthereDelta is they're having a support for their clients.
I like Binance as I traded lots of money in it so I think I'm having less issues than yours.

Binance is one of the popular and big exchange. Since you had an issue with 2fa this is not the reasons to advice people not to use binance. I have heard some feedback that binance is secured, and great exchange so far.

Yes, Indeed. If you're some issues well maybe it's on you because you're not too careful about your coins and transactions.
Maybe Binance nothing did wrong with your transactions but maybe it's on their watch because Binance isn't exempted with attacks so it's either your fault or them but I think Binance is better than some other Top Altcoins and of course it's better than EtherDelta.

Well mo too, I just recently open my account in binance for like 2 weeks now and it working just fine.  I'm sure they are not perfect but they are doing well.

Loosing the F2A  is a MEGA disaster, almost like the guy who lost 104 Million in bitcoin, because he threw away his hard drive by accident.
How can you prove to a company residing in China that you are the lawful owner of the account? I don't see an easy solution to your problem.
Maybe writing a registered letter to the head of customer care? But the amount of time it takes to get this issue resolved should be the least of your worries, as - and I feel your pain - it could very well be that your coins are gone forever.
