Okay see gimmer is moved to a new thread, think I can  unwatch the other thread  now for news and updates.

I’m confused a little bit. Why did you move the thread to a new one? The first and original one was removed and now the second is not good anymore.  ??? Haha third time is a charm? You probably know what you’re doing, but you lost me at the moment..  ;D

We sure hope we lost you for the moment, not at the moment :) I mean I don't want to patronise but to lose your interest in project like Gimmer, because of starting new threads on BTT would be just wrong in my opinion ;) 

So thanks for following us! I honestly think true followers and community members wont't have any problems finding new threads - you are living proof for that :D

I think something was lost in translation - Cloverfield was simply just making a joke ;D He has been one of the most vocal and informative members of the Gimmer community so I doubt he would lose interest in the project over a new announcement thread  ;D

I know Cloverfield from TG already and I realised soon enough he is highly intelligent person and I got his joke instantly. But since there are a lot of people reading BTT, I made a joke (obviously a bad one! :)) and with following words tryed to calm the community down, as I am well awared that potential investors are not so happy to see closing old and starting new threads. So my post was targeting them (investors) mostly... I apologise about the bad joke and let me just say I really respect members like Cloverfield as the community that is based on smart, vigilant members always has bright future ahead! :)

Will there be updates about how the Presale is going? Or will this be announced at the end of the Presale period? I’m loving the updates I see from the team about their seminars they were giving around the world! Sometimes in crypto everything feels like weeks when actually only a few days have passed (probably from little sleep and gaining knowledge of the space). Now waiting for Gimmer already feels like ages!  ::) I can’t wait to get my hands on my first bots! Just a week and a half more for me to buy some GMR and then a little wait more to use it!

Michel Comini already reached out to me and explained why we needed a new ANN and Bounty thread and it’s clarified! I understand the situation completely now! May I suggest removing (if this is possible) the old threads? Becausing getting to this one, even for me, is sometimes a little struggle. For the rest, keep doing what you are doing!

Although I just joined team recently, I have to say Gimmer team is one of the most devoted and hardworking group of people I've ever met. Pure passion and high intelligence is what drives this project and I am most proud to be part of it. Bots are the future of the trade crypt. It is necessary to join than the faster, the better ;)

There is an old bot called C.A.T., but it is hard to use and the interface is not intuitive. I really think, that Gimmer can be a great improvement to the too old already existing bots.

With the mention of other crypto bots, if it wasn't already apparent the critical difference between them and Gimmer will be the revolutionary ease of use of the Gimmer bots, and the ability to either rent out your strategies to other users, or rent from them.
There are already several existing crypto bots, and using two of the most established ones in GunBot and CATBot as examples, they are very complicated to use and setup, and also require a steep learning curve and an intimate understanding of how they function.
Using Gimmer you will not require any programming skills or crypto trading experience and knowledge to get started, and as result should be able to get your first bot(s) up and running in a very short period of time.

Developments going well, soon the Beta will be launched for testing. Phase 1 of the bounty program actively running at the moment during the token sale and in phase 2 the bug bounty campaign will kick off looking towards the post token sale period.

I can answer your second question. Please, Google what happened with Coincube and you'll find the answer why a decentralized application is better than a normal one. They got attacked by a hacker that stole some of their database and compromised their API keys.

With Gimmer you will have a free bot that you'll be able to use it in any exchange that allows third-party API keys.

2 more years to get the AI bot live? That's going to be a while...

There's a difference between bots that use currently known strategies (if you downloaded the demo you will see) and AI bots. They'll develop a standard automated crypto-trading bot, which is free for every user. This includes the use of one indicator, one safety and one currency pair for standard trade mode only. According to Gimmer's roadmap, the bots will be launched around June/2018. AI bots require a lot more to develop.

How does it exactly work if you create your own NEW BOT, because i'm still new and don't have a trading history. So will I make a new bot with my ideas or can I select features I like into the bot and see if it is successful? How do you prevent to use bots from people like me? :D Will it say who they are and what kind of experiences they have on a profile or something? Are there bad bots too? I'm looking into the bot usage, because it would help out a lot for me to make trading more simple!

You may have seen me on this thread before or you, if you’re active there, must have seen me on Telegram. I’ve been following Gimmer for quite some time now. After reading the whitepaper I really felt that the team had an innovative project at hands which could really stir up the market. So I took the opportunity to do a Signature campaign, one of my first ever and started learning more and more about the team, the product and everything around Gimmer. That was the moment I fell in love with Gimmer and started to support it like crazy. After a few weeks a few team members of Gimmer already got in contact with me personally to thank me for my efforts and gave me very nice feedback. That made me feel very special in a way and saw the personal side of Gimmer too. Which led me to love Gimmer even more. Of course, it's a little unfortunate that the sale of tokens is today. The date of the ICO coincided with many others and the ethereum network today simply can not stand, transactions are very slow. I hope this does not affect the desire of investors to participate in the purchase of the anthem tokens.

This platform is really helpful for beginners and people who do not have much time to monitor the market throughout the day. Its interface display is also easy to understand. features are quite complete in my opinion. hopefully the token sale runs smoothly.

Over 1400 ETH collected so far in the public sale in a little over a day. Not bad considering the price of ETH and the state of the market when it launched.
Hopefully the worst of the bloodbath is over and the rest of February is good for crypto and for Gimmer!

it would seem on first impressions that this project has legs, but I would need much more info first to be committed any further. . I wouldn't view this price correction as a blood bath but more as an opportunity to burn fiat and take a rest from scalping and let historical support guide your next trades, If you have ever woken up in a cold sweat screaming "death to the bearwhale , death to the bearwhale" you would know the signs of a blood bath ;)

This week I had the pleasure of meeting two team members of Gimmer. Paul Lindsell (COO) and Joao Renato Mascarin (Commercial Director Europe) were in Amsterdam and Joao mentioned this to me. It was a very nice get together where I got a lot of information from that I wasn't aware of before. At first, I was a bit nervous to meet them, because if you look at their Bio on the website, you will see these guys are no joke. Such experienced young individuals with very respectable previous jobs. But they were so open and nice the whole time that this was soon of the past. These guys truely love the work and the world of blockchain and what it can do for us. It's amazing to talk with guys who share the knowledge and information like they have.

i would like to participate in these great project. Gimmer project is a very usefull and friendly user project that will suit for everyone especially the newbie. I will give my full support to this project.

Bots can be helpfull for selling or buying in a very short timeframe of around 24h i think when you are away from home.  But if you are a humantrader you notice the actions of bots. that makes bots always predictable. if you use bots for longterm you will buy with a higher price und sell with a cheaper as you would have done in person.  the making of a good tradingplattform is what it is worth to invest in. Making bots is more hurting the crypto-environment then helping it to grow. It has the character of making cheats for onlinemultiplayergames. You will loose more supporters then you will acquire for longterm success of the platform. And the platform will be the place where profits will be gained for the owners and real-traders. so the capital is the platform with real users. The bots are and always should be only a gimmick to that and not the reason. If the bot is the reason i think project will fail.

the main target must be the decission for the developement of a stable and secured plattform.

Very interesting project, looks very promising. Read the road map and white paper. Think this could help a lot of new entries at the crypto market, and some people who need some sleep who are traders.
But how are you guys planning on the predictability of GIMMER? That it wont hurt the market more than it would do good? If every body is gonna us a GIMMER in the best option for you as a developer. You constantly getting pumps and drops? I'm new and not a trader but doesn't it hurt the market if it is happen to often en all the time?

I am one of the many supporters of Gimmer because I believe in its lucrative potential. Cryptocurrency trading can be a very lucrative thing to venture into but on the other side of the coin is that it can be too risky especially because it has a very high volatility compared to other investment vehicle. Surely a newcomer to the scene can be trapped. Hopefully, this scenario can be changed with the coming of automated trading platform offered by Gimmer.

My cousin told me about this project. I’m a complete stranger when it comes to trading in crypto’s and trading in a whole for that matter. I got a busy life already, so I’m very interested in the idea of having a bot to do the trades for me. What are the minimum requirements for a Windows laptop to run the eventual product which will be launched in June?

Came across a similar kind of project to Gimmer called Vega Intelligent Solutions https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2422153.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2422153.0) which conducted their crowdsale earlier last month, and felt it might be worthwhile to give it a very brief and hopefully objective comparison to Gimmer.
Vega is also an automated decentralized trading platform, however its focus appears to be on the utilization of artificial intelligence and machine learning aimed at the advanced user, versus Gimmer's focus on easy to use bots, rentable strategies and integrated community interaction aimed at any user.

While both being automated trading platforms, apart from their drastic target audience and implementation differences, which would be comparing apples to oranges, a significant difference Gimmer has with Vega appears to be stage of development.
At the moment Vega is just purely Proof of Concept and according to the roadmap appears to be quite some time away from having a working and testable product. Gimmer however already has a working demo that has undergone comprehensive testing, and significant project milestones in the upcoming year.

The key feature of Gimmer is easy to use, rentable bots, which allows users of any level and especially novices to be able to easily utilize advanced bots and strategies.
Sometime down the road, if and when Vega (or other similar platforms utilizing complex concepts such as AI and machine learning and aimed at advanced users ) become a reality, it will be interesting to compare its performance versus the performance of advanced bots that could be easily rented on Gimmer by any user.

What is the cost of using Gimmer
There are 3 main types of access for Gimmer users:

Basic Access
Holders of GMR tokens will have unlimited access to the Gimmer crypto-trading platform as long as they hold enough GMR tokens for the specific BOTs they want to run. For each BOT type there is a specific number of GMR tokens the user needs to hold to gain access to this particular BOT and its basic services.

Intermediate Access

I  think this is one of the promising and good project.

The new Gimmer bot pricing model is very nice and seems like it will work well, both for Gimmer token holders and new users who want to use the platform.

What do insurance companies and registration services have to do with Gimmer? If you are referring to exchanges most of them make their API data freely available.

The new post on the Gimmer Medium blog regarding setting up bots in the Gimmer Demo DApp is a good read for anyone who hasn't already gotten their toes wet playing with Gimmer bots. Its a very quick and easy read and gives a great idea how simple it is to create new bots and backtest them.

I've downloaded and used Gimmer demo, seems interesting and I'm gonna definitely buy some of it before end of token sale. Current signature bounty will be a plus in my wallet. However, I'd like to ask, the "Create Bot" option isn't available right now, right? Because when I go through the wizard of creating one, at the end, it's always stuck at the button of "Create Bot" (and after some time, "something went wrong" message appears). I'm guessing that's happening because it's the demo version right now and full version will come later, am I right?

The tokens are currently locked and are not transferrable. They will be unlocked at the end of the crowdsale.

Don't worry too much about the Soft Cap guys! Gimmer will go on with the project and developments. This means your tokens will be worth even more, because the will be rare. A small total supply for a product like Gimmer is very interesting for us investors. Take advantage of the opportunity is all I can say! It's not over yet, because I think there's more to come during the Token Sale, but in June your tokens could be worth so much more. With the official launch we will all benefit from this kind of 'slow' start.

The GMR tokens are generated when they are sold, so technically unsold tokens will not be burned but they will just never be created in the first place.

Profitable trading is a very hard thing to accomplish. Regardless what to trade. Maybe these guys will help crypto traders to make more money.

Gimmer is ideal for both advanced and novice traders and investors who want to make money on the cryptocurrency, but do not have the time to look all day at the markets.

An excellent bot, I hope in spite of the fact that soft cap will most likely not be assembled the team will be able to continue working.

Even if the soft cap doesn't eventually get reached, it is great that the Gimmer team will continue going forward with this amazing project.
Since the project relies on users using the platform to truly appreciate what it does and the potential it offers, it seems like a project that could spread quickly through word of mouth once it is truly up and running and people experience success with what if offers.
