Quotes are in decline for many coins now. This situation makes me a little nervous, what should I do now?

I have started to look for some answers about BTC drop as well. Do we know why its still down now? Is it the fake "Korea news"?

it's better to live everything there is no sense of panic, because something we do with anxiety that there will be no good results, so whatever our current circumstances, we should not be nervous or panicked.

It is not bitcoin which makes one feel a bit worried but it is the nature of business and expectations of the people from it which make the people feel worried.  Few years back with the invention of bitcoin;  some early entrants earned huge profits by investing in bitcoins.  Their huge profits attracted many more people with the same objective of earning huge profits from it.  Many people still earned huge profits but their is certain limit of height for every boom after which there may stagnation in further gains and even downwards trend may start.  Human greed motivates him for speculation too and in that case if speculators enter in certain business then chances of big losses  along with big gains are always there and other investors sometimes have to bear huge losses too.  If the plane flies all the passengers fly in it; if the boat sinks all the persons in it are forced to go down the waters.  
But I see future of bitcoin very bright;  also we must not invest the funds which we can not bear to loss.

Dont worry too much. This is how it  has been the whole of 2017 and 2018. It Grows , it falls, it grows much more, it falls and so on.
The reds are a part of the Crypto world. Don't give in to panic and dont give in to temptation..

I would say that I was you 4-5 months back. A newbie to this domain. Have seen now what it is and learnt those lessons the hard way.

When did you use Bitcoin? If you were able to use Bitcoin in its early stage and sold some this year or last year then you should have profit a lot. But if you are new to Bitcoin then just check its graph these past years and from that you'll see how good to invest in Bitcoin. In my mind, this is a situation that can be said is still normal, the price bitcoin and altcoin not go down so drastically. Bitcoin prices only dropped from $14000 the smallest down to $13200, then after that rise again to $14000 this is what happened a few days back. I think the bitcoin price is still fairly stable.

It's true that a lot of coins are now down and even bitcoin also goes down, it makes me worry and nervous to think about the next step, but it would be better if we remain confident and pray for everything to return to normal and not make us lose

i don't see anything that requires any serious concerns. there are the same issues as there always were such as the scaling issue which has been with us for at least 3 years and now we are just seeing the effects of it in form of a high fee.

My logic says, the beginning of a new year is normally much harder than the rest of the year.

People just returned from their expensive Holidays and Xmas and they have to face credit card debt and also the beginning of a new school year, there are just too many financial obligations to meet, to have disposable capital to invest in Crypto currencies.

Hoard hard during these times and buy some cheap coins, it will pick up later in the year. ^smile^

   It happens because of news from South Korea. The government announced new cryptocurrency regulations which are really cruel for anonimous bitcoin users, they may be jailed and robbed. A lot of people are selling coins nowadays, because they dont want to be taxed later.
   Koreans are not banning bitcoin at least, so its price will be back some day

currently bitcoin becomes very unstable. ups and downs are felt, but I guess in every speculation it will result in two things. profit and loss

It's just a normal feeling that i  been worried with my investment because bitcoin price is slowly falling down again.But i have always believed that bitcoin cannot stay that way,bitcoin price will be increasing its price again.

I have the same worry. Now the coin in my hand has been falling. I have lost a lot of wealth these days. Now I wonder if I should sell all the coin, so that I can reduce my loss.

I think you should calm, relax. You should do your official work and forget about the cost of bitcoin. Do not think too much about it, it only makes you more worried about the future of bitcoin and you will not be able to concentrate on doing something. I am also not a fan of Bitcoin Cash, and I learned one thing - in the world of crypto it is better not to be a fan of anything. Ripple also surprised me a lot, but soon the pump became obvious.

past 2 days spam attack against your favorite coin bitcoin cash proved that you get the same delays in there too because blocks were full, mempool was huge, there was also a bug which meant miners couldn't even mine big blocks and all of that led to delays because miners were choosing high paying transactions and filled the blocks with them. BCH fees were also increasing.

Bitcoin price right now is really annoying and doubtful if I can really survive not checking my investment on  bitcoins but actually it is a challange with us to trust instict and to trust the ability of bitcoins and trust your will that btc will eventually go up to the moon on the next few months.

If we check the statistics in last 5 years in January(period of new asian year) the price of bitcoin always went down, but in the summer it rised up incredibly huge.

unlike you, I never worried about bitcoin, and I would never do it too. In fact, this comes once you understand the nature of bitcoin and how it varies and how it responds to the different events. Honestly yes there is a little bit of worry, and who doesn’t worry at all? I suggest you to stop checking the graph everytime. Leave it for months or year. Even material investments take time to grow and give substantial returns. So leave it. You are not the only one or else you will be depressed everyday by just looking at it.

Its no secret bitcoin is declining , if you are really worried sell your coins the price will fall further. It is having a really rough time i would trade altcoins instead of holding bitcoin because till now siacoin has earned me more than 1 bitcoin in profit

Split up your coins into a portion of coin and portion of fiat.

For the coins "I am confortable with only having this many coins for the long term future of bitcoin"

For the fiat "I am comfortable with taking home this much fiat even if the coins become worthless"

If you can come up with that distribution then it is a gift and you should withdraw everything to your bank and cold storage and then ignore the market. Whatever you do dont stay on an exchange for years.

I agree ,investing in bitcoin is risky.People panic because of some country banned bitcoin.I think we should worry if  we invest and dont have any in return.

Bitcoin always flactuates and people get panic when it goes down but dont feel worried like a wheel on a bicycle its always goes up and down and no matter what happen there are always a rising of a price thay we always waitinh for. All we have to do is patiently waiting and I know a good result in our profit will come.

Worrying is just a normal feeling for those who are beginners here, almost all of us have been into that, don't just let yourself worry all the time, just let us learn to overcome it, so far as of today I am not worried anymore although the price is somewhat hurts a lot still believing with the trend that it will rise the soonest. If we will continue to feel worry all the time the tendency is that we will become negative always and could be afraid investing all the time.

But now things has improved and we have some few corrections before the next upward movement. I think you need to relax as if i am right you are in the forum for not a long time and you have just seen the extreme rise in the price of bitcoin but you should know that when it started the price was nothing and still it has managed to grow like no one has ever imagined . So, you need to believe and keep calm as it is gonna come to track in very short time . Its the crypto market we are talking about here so its natural with the rise and fall its all the part and its for sure that its gonna rise again. Also, don't make any decision that you regret after.

It's important to feel fear/worry but not to be overcome by it, you cannot have blind faith that the price will continue to rise but at the same time you must be realistic when it falls and always remember volatility is normal. People have a tendency to think because one time the price was higher than now that they've lost money, that's not entirely the case, always consider where you started and where you are now, that's what helps me.

yes that is right, there is no need to worry about, Bitcoin price has too good potential and its price will once again start increasing but will take some time. This week prices have declined, but today we could see that it's just temporarily and bitcoin is on the rise again. Because of various announcements of some governments to ban cryptocurrency completely or some others to regulate, the price dropped. FUD made people sell out, but most cryptocurrencies are going up again.

A correction was due anyway. It's not that it's entirely the FUD having caused the price to sink. Even when the bull run was breaking through record high after record high, similar articles and announcements were popping up. The FUD started to 'impact' the market at the moment there was no momentum anymore. I think that the time to take off has come now with south Korea coming down to just levy taxes on cryptos instead of completely banning. Also we should consider that Indian government is taking strict actions against bitcoin holders there and it has lessened the number of investors in bitcoin.That might also be a reason for downfall in bitcoin price.
