ethereum in 2 weeks went from a mere 770$ to 1400$,
it actually doubled it self,and now most of the major cryptos are facing corrections do you think ethereum would reach 2000$ or would it again stabilise around its previous value?

Today is when eth forks right? If people were buying in hopes of getting the fork coins, the price might actually drop. Doubt it will go very far though. Maybe closer to its previous value around $800.

Not sure about today, because I've not seen anything about the result of this fork coin. But i won't believe this will make ethereum drop a lot.  People are holding their ethereum caused by the hybrid system will be implemented in this year. people are betting a lot on it.

I think this year will be successful for ethereum, as 2017 for bitcoin. We will believe that in 2018 ethereum will overcome the mark in more than 2000 $.

The price could go to $2,000 in late August. The price looks a little young, it needs to mature before going to new heights.

Let's see what happens after today's fork. But even without it, he has a very promising future and this year we will definitely see a price above $ 2000

Even you'll not look to it's chart on this date but look the charts of 2017. From two digits to four digits at the end of 2018 and I won't doubt it if it will give us a good blow and surprise that it will be at $1,500 first and will be breaking $2,000 at the end of this year.
EtherZero. I think it will help ETH to pump but yes even without it ETH can stand because it has ERC20 tokens that are generated through its smart contracts.

I am looking forward that Ethereum will reach new all time high price this year something like 2000 US dollars, let's claim it. But I am not aware of this new ETH fork coin. My vote goes to ETH too as my second cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, I can see the trend of its value increasing every year.

Ethereum devs are thinking about cwitching to PoS. They will also make users make a deposit to  be sure that no one will try to perform 51% attack or some other things. And ofc more profit will get moners with larger amount of ETH. Just imagine how the demand will grow if ethereum will switch to PoS. Even multiple growtj is possible.

I must have been hiding under a rock the last few days as I am not aware of this new ETH fork that was mentioned, will need to have a look, also POS I am not sure if this will be a good thing for ETH but it will bring more attention and more holders, maybe now is also a good time to pick up some ETC.

I think before end this year ethereum will hit 2k. This will be a big break for ethereum. Ethereum small fees is an advantage.  And most ICO nowadays is ethereum base.

Well, Ethereum is still a candidate for a Bitcoin "replacer". It is getting it's general acceptance, so more and more people from outside of crypto world connect this expression to Ethereum as well and not solely Bitcoin anymore. It's market cap is at 1/2 of a Bitcoin, so to expect it to rise 2x during 2018. is not such a long stretch. It is yet to be seen where Bitcoin will end though - 1/2, 2x, 3x, 5x? Will the cap for Ethereum come mainly from outside or from Bitcoin market?

Last year this bump is reached more on bitcoin and it was reached almost 15k USD and more in end of 2017 but again from this year starts all the cryptos dumping completely and down almost half of the value when it was in the last year.
This year is good for ethereum I think so we may find the ethereum value alone reached to 2k USD in the end of this year. Last year alone ethereum it scored around 360 percent growth in the market.

Ethereum, the best of altcoins is now going to give us game changer card. ETH is having potential to grow more than 2000 USD this year because it has already grabbed the attention of big investors. For investors the only thing that matters is getting profits and that too as much high as possible. Well.. Ethereum will break bitcoin. It is the future of the cryptocurrency. It already is showing a better speed then bitcoin lately and is more reliable and stable then bitcoin. Bitcoin because of the name is still the strongest coin but that won't be the case, may be at the end of this year. Things will be very different in my opinion. I think Bitcoin won't be the king anymore once the end of this year arrives.

Im sure Vitalik has made great roadmap for the year 2018 because the spiking of ETH from the 770 to 1400 would have never been possible without any good development news. Ether in itself is top most currency around the alt coin and everyone knows it after the BTC. We know very well that different ICO projects run on this blockchain and after looking at the worst conditions of the BTC blockchain I'm sure people are going to see many ICO. The more they come int he market the more money people invest into ETH. Mr. Vitalik is very smart persona and I'm 100% sure that he knows the current situation very well and he gonna take the opportunity to rise ETH to all new heights. So yes 2K or more its really possible this year and it will never go down below 900, thats for sure.

I consider the etherium to be one of the most stable and reliable coins. A strong team that is constantly working on improving the project. A strong platform on the basis of which the ICO is conducted. In the near future, the transition to POS. I think in the spring the etherium will grow to $ 2000.

I think this year a lot of altcoins will make a big value growth. $ 2,000 is realistic. If not, even a little bit more. But other altcoins such as EOS, XRP, NEO, TRX, DASH and XLM will be very valuable. The last few hours have all returned green percentages. I think it was also a very high current prices, because as the ICO market cooled, so means a fall in demand for the ETH, this time there are a lot of cheating  early ICO team would consider selling the ETH, so I think the price is still too high.

It seems to me that the eth is the most promising coin after btc. Now the rising prices of all the coins is holding back btc. The developers of btc does not want to upgrade the currency. Year 2017 was indeed a great year for bitcoin and ethereum and I believe that it will coninue its success this year.  As the bitcoin community grows, altcoin community grows as well.  This is because many investors who invest in bitcoin also invest in altcoin.

No one knows what will be the value of bitcoin in the next few years, maybe it will increase in high value or maybe not.
All you need to do rightnow is to hold your ethereum, it is a slow process, but we hope that all the patience we do will be paid of.

Ethereum price is stable at 1000$, sometimes it rises up to 1200$ but it gets down to 1000$. I dont think it is going to hit soon the target of 2000$ because that would mean yo double wich is not easy. In my opinion in order that ethereum to double, bitcoin also has to double because from what I have seen always when the price of bitcoin modifies also the price of ethereum modifies either down or high but they go on the same line. The beginning of the year is the period when the prices kind of fall and in last 5 years always the price of bitcoin went down because of the new Asian year.

i think with all plans os etherium in terms of speed and scalability we got chance to reach 3500 $ pretty easily , only problem is price is depends on bitcoin pair of trading, so we need strong bitcoin too.

In my opinion its now in correction stage. I believe its going to hit 0.2 btc soon. this is higher then 2k$ and it won't take long for me.
we hit 0.1 then drop to 0.089 again now target is 0.2 btc

Yeah i think with Ethereum $3000 is possible price in 3 years or something. It is probably seeing more usage than even bitcoin nowadays. Its my now number 1 priority in crypto to hold as much as ethereum possible in wallet.

If it will reach $2000 in current technical level it will become pain not the solution. Before price can rise Ethereum team must do something with transaction speed and cost. Net is constantly overloaded for months. If the team will not find a solution many will turn to competitive networks. So my answer is - yes, price can come that high and if it correspond with solution to problems mentioned above that will be deserved. If not - it can bring even bigger problems to the ecosystem.

I am sure that this year the price of the Eth will increase to 2000 - 2500 dollars. It's unavoidable. The ecosystem is becoming more and more. Developers are working hard to eliminate problems. There is no alternative yet. Competitors are still at the very beginning of the journey.

Definitely, it will. Eth has always been one of the best altcoins around and it really got some potential. Absolutely it is possible in one or some other day ethereum will definitely reach that mark quoted that is 2k$. The price is gradually increasing now it's already around 1.1k$ and it is expected to touch 2k mark previously eth almost reached that milestone, again in future it will reach that value.

I can't give the right answer but In my prediction and also personal basis and seeing with ETHEREUM and other altcoin. if there is  a sudden upward movement there will always be a downfall. as of the price from 400 usd to 800usd and now 12 000 usd per ETH probably it will go down under 1kusd or

It just need a little announcement from the countries who are currently trying to come up with regulations and we all are going to see price higher than before. $2k is more than possible. I have the same thought with you. Now, lots of ICO that base on ERC 20 platform and request ETH to buy, some of fake and scam ico will die, but the demand of ETH will continue increase

I believed the possibility that Ethereum  price value will going to rise more this year. With the current development and progress like fast ethereum transactions, cheaper service fees and platform was continue to use by most ICO to support their token projects, i strongly believed that it will attract more investors to pour their investment and these will result to make the Ethereum strong and stable to reach the $2,000 mark for this year.

If the momentum continues for couple of weeks, then a 2,000$ is possible as ethereum is one of the high ranking digital currencies that gain a lot this month before it went down back. But i speculate that ETH can reach 2,000$ mark this year.

I agree to that as well, more and more ico's are based no ERC 20 platfoms thus the demand increases. 2000leves for sure but i'm not sure about 3000...

If you check its near history you can easily notice that this coin keep going up and its price doubled at least twice in the few previous years. Ethereum also following bitcoin`s path, last year in the month of October Ethereum was $307 it has crossed $1300 mark in the month of January this year. It has now stabilized around $1200. It is possible because last year the value of ethereum is only 100$ then early this year ethereum hit 1,300$. Theoretically ethereum could hit more than 2,000$ than you expected by mid of this year. But for now markets taking correction because the value of bitcoin is getting lower but that is only temporary.

I can't wait to see ethereum reaching $2,000 in the nearest future because I strongly believe in ethereum technology. But for the ethereum to over take bitcoin before end of the year I think it is impossible for such a thing to happen before end of the year.
