I am going to start a digital asset exchange just like binance, can I have some suggestion about anything such as how to attract users, how to improve users experience or how to administrate the system from you guys? Wish to communicate with you.  ;D

my first question is WHY?
there are so many exchanges out there already, what are you planning to offer that these dont have already?
The biggest drawback for me that I can see is that for new people looking to get into crypto,
they first have to buy Bitcoin with FIAT through an exchange like Coinbase for example.
Then they have to transfer that to an exchange with a lot of listings like Binance,
and this is an extra cost and a little tedious, I know I found it confusing at the start.
 

There is always room for more exchanges, the only question is what is your go-to-market strategy. Do you intend to go Fiat/Crypto(Coinbase/Kraken) or Crypto/Crypto(Binance/Polo) or some new kind of exchange?

Touching fiat means you can access retail market directly, but you will be bound by the laws of man. Keeping Crypto/Crypto like Binance makes scaling up much easier, less compliance hurdles, and trade almost anything. What is it you want?

My personal opinion is to build an exchange of exchange (like a fund of fund or a broker of broker) if you can offer the client the ability to pick which exchange it buys from you would open a whole new world. Give it a thought or PM me.

Because we think lots of those existed exchanges have bad user experience, it makes our project has a slightly chance to beat them and we'd like to give a shot. Actually I think our biggest challenge is not technical but to convince people believe this is a reliable exchange and willing to come. As you metioned about get Bitcoin at one exchange and transfer to another exchange to trade, I guess because most big exchange would avoid exchange between various electronic currencies and legal tender to reduce legal risks.

Why not try doing some survey like asking questions which features and propaganda people prefer more because the best source of getting customer satisfaction is through conducting a survey and talking to them. The second is study which trend suits more that will help you attract your client try reading some marketing strategy on the internet.

Well the most obvious way to attract users are the following;

1. Lower exchange fees (less than 0.25%)
2. Tiered exchange fees, e.g. 0.25% for low volume, 0.15% for mid volume and 0.1% for high volume
3. Be the first to accept new and promising coins
4. Excellent customer support, this is a major problem for most large exchanges as they take weeks to respond to often important messages.
5. Anonymous, simple registration

The problem that I can see with few exchanges is that they are already crowded and they can't answer their customers ticket at the same time. You need to consider this when your exchange starts to grow or while it's still young before it becomes popular. It may not be easy but if ever you'll get to that point stick to customer service. We traders want to have a good communication with the exchange rep / admins when it comes to your business concerns since we are the ones who are using your system.

Setting up is not an easy thing to do, it will take extra efforts to see that platform has a solid security structure and of course make it a friendly user to interface and a fast service that can serve both mobile and desktop, it also has to be intregrated with multiple blockchains. You need to fine one of the great developer who would stay ahead and would be willing to adopt the latest techonologies for exchange.

As for the exchange fees, I am sure we would offer a scheme that acceptable for everyone. Our exchange will be online at earlier March, I hope you could come to experience and tell me your feeling at then.

I know this is the most important thing for an exchange, we are testing the system, especially the part you've mentioned continuously right now because we know this is the way we could beat our competitors. For that reason we have to make the system perfect, it is really a significant issue for our exchange. maybe you can have ubiq on your exchange as bittrex only has it  ??? would be interesting probably people would buy it from your exchange

Just start with little sign up bonus which can later be use as trading fee on the platform..

For me, user-friendliness is everything: quick and easy signup, 2FA security, easy to navigate and find what you're looking for..
I really like how Binance allows you to select Basic or Advanced view.. It allows newbies to start more simply and increase as they become more experienced.

A reasonable fee structure is a must, and bonuses and other incentives are always a plus..
A good referral/affiliate program will encourage the community to spread the word.

As others have already said, a huge problem with exchanges right now is Customer Service and simply not being able to service the number of tickets in a timely way. Creating bounties to encourage the community to create Youtube videos and blog posts etc will not only help spread the word, but will also hopefully alleviate many of the FAQ that users will have.

There's crazy competition and if you don't know how and what to do better, top.

this is exactly what we are going to do when our exchange get online, and also if you invite someone to sign up on our exchange, we would offer the invitation bonus, for both you and the person accept your invitation. those bonus can be used to deduce the service fee. I think it is really good idea and I hope people would love this, and I hope you would love this when our exchange get online ;D

you exchange must be safe to use and cheap to use, thats the main problem you have, also you have to reach critical mass, those that were early with cryptos have clearly an advantage, you can however specialise on new coins, that are emering like waves, that is beeing traded by many exchanges, like ethereum (waves market)

this way you can receive a market segment, you can also try unique direct coinswap combinations,

or you can just focus on low prices,

be careful about the withdrawal fee though these are pissing many users off

I understand that user experience is very important and I know many existed exchange are doing not so good at it which brings lots of complains, so we will take it very seriously and carefully, including user-friendliness, customer service, transaction speed and so on. Also there would have a very low service fees compare to other exchange.

As the idea of Youtube videos and blog posts, it is absolutely a brilliant idea. I think we would do this after we get our first group of users, it could publicize our exchange and attract more users efficient. Thanks for you inspire! There does have a develop planning for our exchange, but I still wish I could get suggestions as many as possible, even one more extra advise may bring a significant progress. You need to run a massive marketing strategy to do so. Creating an effective product awareness is the best way to make your exchange platform successful.

And please give an effort to have a good Customer Support Service. This is whats lacking from all of the exchange platform right now, they either have unresponsive CS or nothing at all. And this what TRADERS hate.

Can I know what is the tentative date your exchange will be able to accept traders? As others suggest, you can give sign-up bonus to traders to give them more confidence to your platform.

A good point, how to convince people?
Just provide more information about the exchange, especially where is it located? Can people visit the headquarter if there is a problem?
The most common problem for people who deal with exchanges is the ticket waiting to be replied for weeks or even for months.
If you can convince people that Bitpaction exchange will never have the same issue, people may be attracted to try this exchange.
Another thing to note is fees for deposit or withdraw, as the current network for bitcoin requires high fee to transfer bitcoin, you may want to set a flexible fee for withdrawing bitcoin.

I agree with this one. A poll would be a good way of knowing the pulse of the people what they want to see in a certain exchange. Of course you would have to look at your current competitors and see their strengths and weaknesses and then try to look for solutions to their issues so that when the issues arise in your incoming trading site, you can solve the issue as soon as possible. A direct deposit and withdrawal to your site with fiat currency would be awesome. Some coins are listed through payment and some through votes so you have to decide what way you want to list coins and have promotions too like what Kucoin is doing.

I have account in some exchanges site. I usually use poloniex, Cryptopia, mercatox, and ccex. But now I interested in kucoin because the users can earn dividen from it. Maybe you should do the samething but also better than kucoin. I love exchanges site which has good UI but I prefer like to use exchanges site which profitable for me.  ;)

Invite user to visit our headquarter is such a brilliant idea, I promise we will do this while our exchange running smoothly. We are cryptocurrency enthusiasts ourselves, so we are very concerned about the advantages and weakness of other exchanges, to avoid those issues you mentioned of those exchanges are important for us. So please trust us, we will do this well.

It sees lots of people like poll, we are now design a questionnaire contents some questions we are most concern about, hope you guys could come to answer when it released.  Fiat currency exchange may not provide at the first stage of our exchange because there are many complex conditions involved in, but we will discuss about if we would add this function afterwards seriously.  And to learn the strengths and weaknesses of other exchanges are a continuous work for us that never stops, so I believe we will do a good job on this.

We do have such dividen for our token holders ;D but the difference is we use bitcoin as the dividen for token holders rather than other cyptocurrency. we aslo have other good things like get token by sign up, invite friends to sign up or accept the invitation to sigh up,  take part in some events we held to get a permanent discount of service fees and so on, and we have a good UI too :D I believe you would love our exchange~~

Name is quiet weird or just me? but well going back, i have visited the link i do love the theme though and seeing on the roadmap i find it interesting.One thing i do seek out always on having a good support and a user-friendly interface exchange. I dont know for others but this is my first priority when i do decide to choose up new places to trade on. If it does pass my standards then this would be my new hideout.  8)

Kinda Weird for me also, their team are all Chinese(correct me if I'm wrong). I wonder where is the exchange site is registered knowing that China had already made a ban for ICO's. Also one more thing, does this exchange cover almost all of the coins or just the popular ones?

I'd say make sure you're very transparent, especially with trading, deposit and withdraw fees. Don't make me have to look it up somewhere on an obscure Q&A. It should be very upfront when I make the transaction that it says what the fees are.   

Thanks for reminding, but our project is in Singapore, and it won't ICO in China, so there has no legal issues about it. As for the range of coins we will cover, all the coins we choose need to be critically evaluated, so it won't cover all the coins but those ones that have exchange value.

We'd love to be transparent, we don't like those sneak behaviors neither, and we will make everything simple and clear at the very beginning. Actually this will make our work easier too.

Well i prefer the exchange is a user-friendly especially for the beginners that are easy to confuse in every features of it.

The customer service should be always available for users encountering problem.

Plus point for an exchanges that has low trading fees and deposit fees with fast transactions. This can attract people to use your exchange. So goodluck.

I run Linux and primarily use Chromium (not to be confused with Chrome) browser. The first thing I noticed was that the page did not auto-size to the window nor is there a scrollbar so I miss out on whatever is to the right of "Y"  at the top of the page. Yes, I could zoom out when I go to the site but that would not happen unless you are offering free coins :)  I realize the site may not be ready for prime time yet and wanted to bring this to your attention as it would prevent me from using the site. If you are polling for coins I vote for DeepOnion (ONION) and Crypterium (CRPT) and of course the big brands (BTC, ETH, etc.).

I want to see an exchange with less JS and less lag on semi-old computers.
Many exchanges today are too heavy to their main purpose - trading.

Please add more features on it if you are the developer, the more your features the more might raise the attention of your website. People are searching for an easy to use exchanges with no hassle and if they had a problem please put a costumer support or an email so they can reach you quickly and an immediate response is highly appreciated.

You really need to upgrade your computer there are more new specs of computer today that has a good spec but cost low try to search them online.

We have only few necessary JS and lag, but I strongly suggest you to update you computer to improve your efficiency for everything ;D

We are focus at the exchange itself, all the features related to the exchange will be considered while others may not temporarily. We try to create a good environment for all the users, both seniors and beginners, and provide a costumer support with high quality.

Does your site also require KYC or AML registration? This had been an issue lately because everyone doesn't like to be asked about their critical pieces of information.

KYC and AML is not necessary for the registration of our exchange.
