Hi guys. I would like to buy some CRPT tokens from IDEX, but I am not sure how legit it is. Do you have any experience with this decentralized Exchange? Thank you

IDEX is one among the legit exchange that is available for trading. If this is a fraudulent or a scam exchange it could have never created an Ann thread or promoted through our forum. Haven't used to it, but the way its been developed confirms it to be a legitimate exchange functioning in a decentralized manner.

IDEX can indeed be believed for the exchange in the present and hope more trend for the future, I have never tried exchange on IDEX but I believe IDEX one of the exchanges that can be in carry

It is legit, Im buying some of my tokens there but there is a minimum of 0.05 eth for buyers .

i think idex is good, but i think we have to have a special mew account to enter idex, because to login requires private key. using our special account will be safer, so our main private key wallet is not known to others

Yes It is a legit decentralized exchanging site. I already trade some of my coins their, the only thing that I dont lika about them is that they have a minimum coins to exchange. And also it's really hard to transfer your coins to you IDEx account.
But it's okaay to me.

I have used IDEX and for me it is a nice exchange and quite easy to use even for beginners because IDEX works almost similar to Etherdelta or forkdelta because it must import account.

Idex has a lot of interest but server down is very often found in Idex makes me uncomfortable to use it.

I haven't used IDEX exchange and I won't recommend it to anyone. Last time, I saw one of my coins listed there and it has a really low value. And also, most of the time it is down. I would recommend you to use Binance and Kucoin for the meantime unless another better exchange site is available. (Just an opinion)

Idex I think the market is safe to trade. just like the etherdelta and forkdelta markets, it's just that there are sometimes maintenance constraints, but not so long.

Idex is legit but the exchange is having difficulties or the site is having a maintenance update.

Of course IDEX is legit because this is the best DEX exchange on market right now I think. Maybe this is not so simple to make an exchange there if we mean usability but they have a lot of altcoins and also you can use Metamask for trades. I usually do that. After Etherdelta I don't use private keys. This is not very convenient  market place if you trade les than 0.1 eth . So don't try to trade there with low deposit.

Its a decentralized exchange and it's pretty legit as in I haven't seen any major complains about it yet, other than the usual nitpicks. You have to understand they're pretty new to the game. I haven't used it thoroughly though, regardless do not store any coins in any exchange no matter how legit they seem.

IDEX is not avaiable for few days, it seems fishy. I hope that they won´t leave with our money.

Downtimes are common with exchanges. Even Binance and Cex have been there and they have proven their worth. It may be too soon to say anything about IDEX though. And if you haven't read my previous comment, then let me repeat, do not store your cryptos in online wallets and exchanges.

I have been using idex for a long time and I can not say anything bad. Only quite often there are complications with the transaction.

I havent used it personally, but I know so many that have and have had a good experience so I am pretty positive they are legit. Ive noticed they feature most new erc 20 tokens soon after token generation event which is great if you wish to trade or sell your tokens right away.

tried it with a relatively small sum, seems ok thus far, if a bit troublesome to setup and a bit "hangy" at times...newbies might find the interface a bit intimidating...

Yes I think IDEX is a good exchange from Etherdelta .. I prefer to trade there than dietherdelta.I say this because it compares with Etherdelta not with other markets. Because they're the same kind.

I made several exchanges with the help of IDEX and I can say that he liked me much more than Than and ether Delta. The fact is that their functionality is almost the same, but working with idex is much more pleasant.

I do agree that if you are first timer on using up these decentralized erc20 exchanges you would really be confused on their interface but somehow they do really have guidelines which would really be suggested anytime to read up before using up the exchange.
What unpredictable? Its always been unpredictable when it comes to prices just like on other typical popular exchangers too the difference on here is that this is a decentralized ones but rest assured this is legit.

You can buy or sell any cryptocurrency as you want on IDEX without having any trouble. Beside I think fee on IDEX is not so high like other exchanges :)

Absolutely legit, works perfectly. Also it has airdrops of it's own coins every, i'm not sure, but i believe month, maybe quarter, if your trading volume more than 5$. Withdrawals and deposit fast and without problems, no withdraw comission. Only bad thing is lo trading volume and very slow execution of orders.

Yes, IDEX is legit and its been performing good, amidst of some negative reviews by few users, a lot of reason still we need to use IDEX because it supports lots of ERC20 tokens which is pretty good eventually, and some of the users are happy with it, IDEX is not considered as the big exchanges compared to binance, but IDEX is performing good eversince it was operated.

I’ve traded more than five times on idex with no problems. Getting set up was a bit nerdy, but if you follow the step by step guide, there’s no worries its completely safe and legit.

HitBtic is a centralized third part that require a full verification process for long use but IDEX is a decentralized exchange where the platform Devs or anybody has no access to your private and you can still be responsible for your own money in exchange with full anonymity. Etherscan added recently a new feature about tracking orders in Idex and checking Idex balances after the platform lunch its own token (still don't know about its right utility). It's very legit pal. It is basically the better version of the Etherdelta which looks like a garbage now if you make a comparison between the two. I made a few transactions there and it was a piece of cake and no headaches that I felt from ED.

I am using IDEX Crypto Exchange a Lil bit longer and happy to use the crypto trading platform. I eventually bought some tokens on it. Create another eth address on their website in case if you're worried using mew private keys.

I've traded on IDEX exchange for months and for me everything is still fine :). It's a good exchange with very low fee but the only thing I don't like from this exchange is that I have to trade minimum higher than 0.25 ETH (I don't remember clearly about this number) so it'll be the problem for me when I wanna sell any token or altcoin with small amount under 0.25 ETH :(

I have done many transactions in IDEX and until this time there is no problem for me, even a few weeks ago something happened there but my coins have still existed. except for the transaction limit in IDEX that annoying me  ;D

Common thing that most tokens would be listed here first before into top tier exchangers knowing that this is a decentralized exchange then normal erc20 tokens will really be landed first on here. Not only IDEX but there are lots of options to chose from like Etherdelta and Forkdelta and other decentralized exchange exist in the market today.They would be always legit but be careful sometimes on possible issues.

Never contact with your full wallet. If someone hacked idex, he will have your secret key. And can hack all your tokens on this wallet.

I think idex is better than ed or fd where the volume in that market is huge. many use idex as an alternative because they can not complete kyc to register in big market.

Idex is an awesome exchange.  I like the fact that it is decentralized; so it is free from centralized authority.  Idex is a good exchange as deposits are confirmed immediately and withdrawals are processed immediately.  We need no further authentication or what not and we don't have to answer to any centralized body.  I have used it countless times and the only times I experienced problems is when the entire ethereum network is congested.

Idex exchange is legit. I have been using it to trade. It has a good experience, I prefer it to every other decentralized exchanges,it has good volume too.Many great projects are listed their but the minimum trade is $150. I prefer using Metask in trading there as it trades only ERC20 tokens.

IDEX for me a decentralized market that is very legitimate. almost all of my tokens sell there and I also have good experience there. when there is a new token entering IDEX I buy at a low price when I hold 1 week the token starts rising high and I get a huge profit.

IDEX is a legit exchange but I am not going to recommend it to anyone. The last time I I checked on IDEX is it is really bad and I don't know if IDEX is going to be a good exchange in the future. If I were you, I'll stick to the mainstream exchange sites like KuCoin and Binance.

IDEX is Legit and also the best Decentralized Exchange out there, I've been trading on IDEX for months and I have no problem at all, to make sure you are buying the right coin just search the contract address and if the contact address is the same that is the correct coin, the only Problem on IDEX is those annoying Trading bots.

I am using idex for more than a year now, till now i never faced any problem with the IDEX, even the transaction are very safe with the idex for incoming and outgoing. If you want to trade then idex is the best to exchange for trading in their decentralised exchange.

I have done a lot of buying and selling off IDEX. it is definitely legit. There is no ridiculous fee for deposit withdraw or anything like that. So all in all it is legit and it is also a really good exchange specially for recent ICOs

as long as I make transactions there everything works fine even though there are some prices that are not the same as other exchanges but that doesn't matter to me as long as everything is smooth

Since it's a decentralized exchange, dev's don't bother to put some volume because they're such a lowkey scammers. There are so many cases that I've experienced like joining in a successful project but the token/coin was listed in a trash exchange. They're trying to scam the investor and participants by not giving the needs of their people. This is also a factor why token's price value goes down until it reaches hell, you can see the red color which is the lava and fire.

You can log in via Metamask account same as in Fork/Etherdelta and it has a volume presented in CMC.
Unlike previously mentioned exchanges it updates trades faster but the interface works too slow.

You don't have to worry about using idex, it is a legit decentralized exchange platform. But I suggest you to install metamask before using it, for safety reason purposes. This is much more safer than Fork/Etherdelta platform, because its not necessary to import your private key on the idex unlike in Fork/Etherdelta both are asking private key before you can able to use their platform. IDEX announced recently they're launching KYC soon. They're becoming increasingly less decentralized. Look into platforms like Blocknet... it's a bit more work to setup but there's zero interference from third parties.

Yes it is legit and i have already traded one of my cryptos assets there. It's just like the famous Etherdelta before and it also ask your private key before you can start trading. So what i did is that i transfer first the token that i wanted to trade into a new wallet so that whatever happens, it's only the crypto on that new wallet will be in jeopardy and not my whole crypto assets.

I have been using IDEX for more than a year and i never faced any problem with the IDEX exchange and recently they announced from January 8th they are going to allowing Staking the Aurora coins. Yes, you are right the transaction speed for execution of sell order and buy order are very fast in Idex exchange. Even when i placed any withdrawal within the time limit they will send the withdrawal based on the confirmations we get through ETH blockchain.

If KYC gets implemented so it will mean that less people would be trading on such exchanges as people would not like to share the KYC details to unknown or less familiar exchange. I think this exchange could get impacted a lot if people start moving away from this exchange on account of KYC compulsion.

You are right most of the people will show interest in exchanges based on their support system active. I think Idex team is very accurate in this part so trading in index exchange is always good but choose wise coin in the index because there are many coins listing there daily.

No one will use an exchange that's very inconvenient to them.
There are some exchange that does have inactive supports but they are still using it.
But if a problem appears, you can't ever hope for them.

I agree with this when compared to other decentralized exchanges, I think idex has good points, one of which is at a minimum to trade the token value that we want to sell must have a value of 0.15 ETH or more. it's good to avoid dump sell (at least).
I see this, there are some fake/shitcoin on the list, low volume and no active trading,  huge sell wall but but no one buys this token.
