Title: ICO's that are worth it?
Post by: Funky_Yoda on January 24, 2018, 06:46:46 PM
Hello,

I am new to this forum. I would like to ask if people have any good recommendations for ICO's worth investing in.
Could you maybe share the name of the ICO and why you think it will succeed?

Many thanks.

I appreciate your way of getting information from the users who deal with it day in day out but I would suggest you to do a dip check by yourself it's simple before you invest in any ICO you need little bit of luck and more knowledge and research hence I would suggest to read the market and invest in something which will be the need of future. There are few examples like Utrust, PPN , Wepower, Envion etc

I would recommend checking DIW.
"They are planning to introduce a blockchain – based, secure digital wallet
or ‘vault’ as they call it that will be able to not only hold within it cryptocurrency, but all kinds of sensitive digital
documents and information such as wills, login credentials, financial related details, identification documents,
KYC & KYS documentation and many more." As seen on ICOtoInvest.
So basically they will break up all the data and keep it highly encrypted and available at all times.

Yes I believe too that participating or investing in ICO's are more profitable. Though I havent invested that very much because I take it little by little .

I've been trying to find good ICO to invest too but it's hard... I'm going by this few rules "explain in 1 sentence what does it do" "does it need to be on blockchain" "does it really solve any problems" "what other alternatives do we have, do we need another one" :)

I do not know a thing about the most of passed and current ICOs, but just now I red that Telegram is making tgeir own UCO and token Gram for payment to their services. I think this can be successful, I'm going to follow this thread to participate in this project, cause it really seems worthy to me.

I would like to recommend Stockus, the future of financial markets. I choose to join this promising ICO bounty campaign because I was amazed by their project after I read their white paper and if course, it is being managed by one of my favorite bounty campaign managers.
Stockus gives players the opportunity to work in the main financial markets. They can buy quotes from the NYSE, NASDAQ, COMEX, LSE, Euronext, Tokyo and Shanghai stock exchanges, trade on Forex market and on other exchanges. They can buy and sell shares, futures, currency pairs, indices, options, crypto-currencies, etc. The basis of Stockus trading is dependant on both time and the composition of the tournaments. Participation in our tournaments allows players to earn Stockus Tokens that can easily be exchanged for cryptocurrencies and fiat money.
Try it, click my signature so you will know everything about this very good ICO and coin in the future.
Try it, This is one of the most anticipated ICO this first quarter.

First of all do your own research. Take a closer look at hardcaps and try to compare to similar projects at coinmarketcap.

Here is a list of my current projects that I follow:
- DADI - decentralized cloud;
- Neonexchange - just google this ICO (I think it's hard to get in now);
- Insights.network - very interesting project for monetizing your personal data - it's a decentralized network that eliminates entermidiaries (something like you give answers about yourself for focus groups, and so on);
- Dock.io - decentralized data exchange protocol that lets people connect their profiles, reputations and experiences across the web with privacy and security. They already have an app - you can try it. Very userfriendly platform. Looks cool.

Check out the Tradove as it has a strong team behind the project and reliable advisers for example Richard Rosenberg which is the former Chairman & CEO of bank of America, they also have lots of partnership and running a succesful pre-sale.

Otho and MedicalChain are getting lots of attention at the moment. Both seem to be projects built on a strong foundation and have decent looking teams.

Envion was a good choise but their ICO is finished now, so you have to wait till they are listed in the exchange(hitbtc first and many more to come in future); hopefully by this month end.

You can also take a look into the Daneel project (daneel.io) ...their ICO just started today.

Origami Network is an all-in-one decentralized marketplace platform that solves several existing problems related to online marketplace development and maintenance, escrow payments, and reviews.

We have a working product, a very low cap of only 5000 ETH (Presale only 1000ETH with 15% bonus)

Presale is still opened!  :)

I could give a few advises about this question.
- read the white paper of the ICO
- Check the team of the ICO
- Check the road map
- evaluate the idea - is the idea realistic
Finally....do your own research and do not trust anyone. These are your own money...invest them by your own.

I could agree with some of the answears bellow about ICOs, but in my view, you should make a good research for any single ICO that you are gonna put your money or your time.
My advice when you make a research is to check the idea is it good and realistic and check the team. Evaluate different project by that and you will find the right ICO for you, for investing or putting your time on it  ;)

Find the icos yourself, it is not that we do not want to help, but it seems you are new in the forum, I do not know how much money you have ready to invest but are you willing to invest your money over the advice of strangers on the internet? At least check the coins that are being recommended to you so you do not invest in scams or in projects that have no future at all.

DADI sold out in first hour or two. Logged in a bit late just to find out the sale was already over.
Next hot ICO is Arcblock in early Feb. It has got high hype and ROI  ratings from icodrops.com
and they are usually right.

Thats the thing cause some posters will just recommend some ICO but the fact that they intentionally doing that to advertise the project or the owners will recommend their ICO's, the problem is that they are just into advertisement you have no idea if that project is a legit and a good one for long-term holdings and gains, you will just end up with some wrong project wasting your time and money, if your going to consider some feedbacks to a certain ICO make it sure that's from a reputable or trusted person, try to read and understand their roadmap and whitepaper.

I can't name you any because you may blame me if it does not work out but I will say that ICOs can be profitable if done homework correctly. If you do a lazy job on homework you will really suffer and should only stick to coins on exchanges but if you can do homework good then like with any endeavor in life you can be successful.

You have to make a solid research. For example idex was a good ico. For 3000$ u would get 1 membership token and. 50k aura  tokens. After listing on cmc aura went to 0.6$. That would be 30k$ only with aura.

I would look into Polymath. Bridging wall street to blockchain. Huge idea, team, and partnerships. Only doing an airdrop right now, but they're launching their platform on the 31st. I would join their Telegram group for updates. https://t.me/polymathnetwork
