Bitcoin Hush (https://http://btchush.org/) (BTCH) is not something that has ever existed before. It is a Komodo (https://komodoplatform.com/en) (KMD) asset chain with imported Unspent Transaction Output (UTXO) datasets from four different blockchains (HUSH (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hush/), SUPERNET (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/supernet-unity/), DEX (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/instantdex/), BTC (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/)). It dumps that value onto a fifth, brand-new chain. It does not fork from KMD, nor does it fork from BTC or HUSH. It is technically NOT A FORK, but a merged airdrop.

Why you want BTCH (https://btchush.org/):
Besides getting the airdrop, as a KMD asset chain BTCH takes full advantage of the KMD ecosystem (utilizing tech like dPOW and dICO). The names involved in the creation of BTCH, jl777 (KMD) & Duke Leto (HUSH), are some of the best and brightest in the industry. BTCH is a new coin to try out new ideas that are simply impossible with any blockchain that currently exists. As a KMD asset chain, it will inherit future KMD technology and updates. It is the DaVinci's Workshop of blockchain technology and already has *lots* of eyes on it.

Why you *still* want HUSH (https://myhush.org/):
HUSH is the mother chain to BTCH, and has it’s own network. It’s not going anywhere. HUSH is profitable to mine (with webmining coming back soon), but not BTCH since it's entire supply will be in circulation. HUSH still has a low circulating supply (less than 15%) and will have on-chain public HushLists (https://github.com/leto/hushlist/blob/master/whitepaper/protocol.pdf) before any other coin. HushNG (https://github.com/MyHush/hush-ng) (Hush's all-in-one high speed messaging, transaction, and asset platform) is also about to be released.  

What exchanges support BTCH?
The first exchange to support BTCH will be BarterDEX (https://www.komodoplatform.com/en/technology/barterdex). Atomic swaps have already been completed with KMD and BTCH. Others will follow later.

What is the total supply?
21,000,000 coins, like Satoshi intended.

Where can I read the technical specs?
Keep an eye on our website, btchush.org (https://btchush.org) for our whitepaper. A pre-release will be out soon, followed by the full whitepaper after the snapshot date. (The full whitepaper will be out after the snapshot in order to include data from the snapshot itself.)

How do I get the airdrop?
You must have control of the private key (i.e. not on a centralized exchange!) for your transparent address (taddr). If you have HUSH in a shielded address (zaddr) you must migrate it to a taddr before the snapshot date in order to receive the airdrop. (Or you may simply choose to continue to enjoy the privacy zkSNARKs provides to your zaddr.) Soon after the snapshot date, BTCH will release our own wallet. Take your HUSH taddr private key and import it to that wallet to unlock your BTCH. You may also use your private key in BarterDEX (https://www.komodoplatform.com/en/technology/barterdex) or Agama (https://supernet.org/en/downloads) to receive the airdrop.

A block height will be chosen closest to (but not later than) 12pm NOON UTC on Feb 1st 2018.

Unconfirmed transactions (in flight) WILL NOT BE COUNTED. The mempool will be ignored!!!!  

For each 1 HUSH, you will get 1 BTCH.  
For each 1 SUPERNET/Unity, you will get 1 BTCH.  
For each 1 DEX, you will get 1 BTCH.  
For each 1 BTC, you will get 1 BTCH.

Exciting announcement!  Happy to own HUSH and BTCH when it drops. Any info on in the real world use cases for BTCH would be helpful.

Where did u read this? You need the Hush Wallet (Online or Desktop) to own your private Keys. With this private Keys you can claim your BTCH when BTCH-Wallet is out.

I own like 9 Hush, lol. I bought them because
I think it is an undervalued privacy coin
that isn't trying to claim it'll keep you anon
because they attached, Tor, a finished product
developed and paid for by the US government--and
a blender or mixer.

Maybe it's just me, but projects overloaded with Tor or i2p
come off as unoriginal. Verge xvg, I think is basically DogeCoin
with Tor. And they may have recently made changes. But
just a month ago it was leaking your IP address on each
transaction. Holy sh*t.. And it's still around 900 Satoshis.

So, before we start calling BTCH a premined pump
coin, at least go to the website and read the white paper.

You have to own ( in you wallet or paper wallet=you have to have privatekey to you hush address ) it at snapshot date

or send your $HUSH to BarterDEX exchange and you would instantly claim your $BTCH when its out.

i would say so.. they announced that BarterDEX will fully support the airdrop. the different in the nodes is just that you have to download the blockchain for the coins or not (api -> bit delayed).. what i understand.

i think you own your private key of your web wallet means you will be able to claim your $BTCH when theres a $BTCH wallet to import this private key then.

I try to send one of my hush to another address and it splitt my balance to another address.

i made a hush wallet from wallet.myhush.org and i also set up a agama wallet but how do i import/export private key from which one to which one so as to get the btch

Exporting the key from wallet.myhush.org is very easy, please go to the "Export" tab, choose your wallet and you will see your key. You can also use the "download private key" option.
To import your key into BTCH wallet please first wait until the fork time (today midnight UTC time). Please dedicate just only about 5 minutes of your time to read - all needed detailed info is provided here: http://btchush.org/

Thank you for explanation. I set up both an agama hush and web hush wallet, so for web hush wallet we do not need to save a wallet.dat file downloaded, right?
Btw i read all the explanations in many forums but there are a few alternatives and some different methods in different alternatives.  E.g. in forums people wrote that they saved wallet.dat but in web wallet i have not seen such a feature.

@bencu - yes you can keep your "wallet.dat" but it does not really needed. You need to keep your private key from HUSH wallet for the fork time. You can decode your priv key from "wallet.dat" file too, but the simplest method is just notice your key anywhere and it's all.  :)

b2t: you just need to export and save your private keys of your web wallet address where you hold your $HUSH coins.. sooner or later when when theres a separate $BTCH wallet you can import your private keys then.. or try it with Agama (Wallet by Komodo which supports it too)

I believe that there will be a tutorial on how to claim your BTCH, I will post it here when it is available. What is important now is to keep your HUSH private keys secure, don't share it with anyone.

That's the only way I found to claim mine. First I ran

    komodod -ac_name=BTCH -ac_supply=20998641 -addnode=78.47.196.146

to create the BTCH fullnode directory. After it synced, I tried to do importprivkey for one of my hush addresses. But that failed saying the key format was invalid. So I stopped komodod and replaced the generated wallet.dat with a copy of the wallet.dat from my hush fullnode and then ran it again with -upgradewallet:

    komodod -ac_name=BTCH -ac_supply=20998641 -addnode=78.47.196.146 -upgradewallet

That worked.

I set that upgraded wallet.dat aside and then did a similar process with the wallet.dat from my bitcoin full node. For each utxo I did dumpprivkey. These were now in the valid format. I went back to the first upgraded wallet (from hush) and successfully imported the BTC priv keys.

I sent some coins to coinexhange, arrived very fast, but stuck at confirmations. 2/20 confirmations since more than 2 hours now. Apparently due to explorer issue.

I also noticed that you can see the balance of any address in this explorer (the http://www.btch.host), so the claimed 'privacy' is not true about this coin.

The price of BTCH is very low on the exchange. I'm still holding Hush and BTCH. Hopefully the price will change soon and it will go up.

Yes, btch was an experimental fork that revealed the power of komodo assetchains, and the talents of the supernet komodo devs, BUT, that doesn't mean btch is just a science experiment. I expect kmd and komodo ecosystem will get more exposure as barterdex releases continue being more 'grandma' friendly, and btch will get exposure as a great anonymous asset.

Yes it's disappointing,  but btch is so far ahead on tech that I still believe the market will catch up eventually and price things based on value. Komodo is getting some attention finally, rated 5th best crypto by the Chinese government overall and 2nd most innovative, and btch will get more attention now that komodo and BarterDEX are just about to take off. Bitcoin holders will realise they already own one of the best assetchains now, Roger Ver and Satoshi are btch whales , soon they'll appreciate that.

The dev team is active on komodo slack , so btch has been a stealth project within a stealth project,  which means up until now you have had to go looking for information proactively,  but that's changing with recent amazing news of the Chinese government rating, and the imminent release of barterDEX with a user friendly interface,  'hyperdex'. These are significant milestones in the 4 year journey of kimono and supernet.

When people come looking they will find they have same number of btch as they had Bitcoin in Feb 2018, even if it takes them a while to bother claiming.

I believe also the KMD Team did not spend a lot of time answering question and making more development  regarding btch because they were busy releasing hyperdex

Yes, exactly this, the komodo ecosystem is amazingly broad with many integrated features, and they are wisely not focusing on marketing and attracting general public users until all the pieces of a version 1 release for the whole platform are in place. To have novice users attempting to use cutting edge tech that has experienced devs and traders scratching their heads would be counter productive,  but we're very close now, and when HyperDEX is launched most bitcoin holders wanting to experiment will already have btch balances from the Feb airdrop waiting for them.
