Litecoin is going to be No.1

It is really good to buy LiteCoin recently since the price was low. and litecoin also has the potential in the future and it is really good for you to invest that big because you'll earn more profit when the price of it recovers.
King of all coins for LTC wont happen. Because bitcoin will still be the king and if the bitcoin failed to do so there is always still Ethereum who's climbing its way up.

I have litecoin is implementing smart contracts. I might start to pick some up. It going be one of best coin this year.

I've always considered Litecoin as one of the most under-invested coins in the top 10 market-cap coins and I think Litecoin is just a bitcoin fork with a bit of new features.
Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

litecoin can be a good choice for investing. but you need to be careful to buy litecoin because litecoin can not be stable like eth or bitcoi. but litecoin has a good future for investment and has the potential to be the best coin in cryptocurrency.

Yes litecoin is very good to be traded on the exchangers, litecoin always gives good profit in trading activity and i think today is good time to buy litecoin due to right now the the trend of price is starting up trending and it is time to trading altcoins in litecoin but i am not sure if the litecoin is the king of all of coins, the king of digital coins is still the bitcoin at least in capitalization of marketcap and other factors like the community.

What kind of shit coins are you invested in to call LTC a shitcoin? LTC is one of the longest standing coins and most reputable. Hell, it's the silver to bitcoin's gold, the checking account to bitcoins savings account. Don't call it a shitcoin when you probably invest in some failed ICOs.

For smart people it is obvious it is shitcoin. Maybe you are not smart enough to know that LTC creator Charlie Lee sold all his litecoins. Does mark Zuckerberg sell his stake in facebook? No because he believes in this franchise. CL did not.

Do not agree with you at all here. Litecoin has always been one of my best investments so far and has yielded huge profits until date since I am an early adopter of this coin and I still think that it has a long way to go to reach its full potential. So many people seem to believe this coin is a shitcoin just because its founder dumped a big portion of these coins which is absolutely not true and this is simply unnecessary FUD being directed at this coin. I am expecting this coin to reach $500 mark by the end of this year and move forward to the $1000 mark soon.

I ended up trading my litecoins for eth and other altcoins before it went below $200. I do think ltc is a good safe coin but I think eth will have the better 2018 than ltc. I might get some more ltc in the future.

Litecoin is really a great coin but not the king of all coins. That does not belong to Litecoin. Bitcoin has it ever since the crypto world is created. And the second spot is a battle of several contenders which of course would include your choice. But it is not only Litecoin that is worth the second spot. Ethereum is the leading contender. Investment-wise though, Litecoin has a bright future. And then when it comes to fees and confirmation time, Litecoin has an edge over Bitcoin.

Congratulations man. That's a good number of LTC right there in your wallet and it will eventually grow because there still a room for improvement for this elite altcoin. I believe it will really grow because it has a big market cap already but i don't really think Litecoin (LTC) will be the king of cryptoworld.
Bitcoin will always be the king of cryptos because its market price is way big enough than any existing crypto.

I prefer ethereum over this coin,its founder already gave up to his coin to the point that he donated his shares to charity.If there will a new king after bitcoin that is probably ethereum,not litecoin or any alts out there,how would people invest in this coin while its founder doesnt trust his own coin?ethereum has a solid platform and wider community than litecoin,so no!

I personally am an investor in litecoin. However, I must say that Litecoin is a big coin but it is not the king of other coin types. It does not make a strong and important impact like bitcoin. I still judged Litecoin quite high, because they have their professional work team, their strategy clear, their adjustments at the right time. It made me trust and invest in Litecoin.

I agree it's time to buy Litecoin. I follow Charlie and some Litecoin dev for a long time. They are working hard for this project.
But I think LTC is not king of all coin, I think they are many promising projects over here, like ETH, IoTA,... same with LTC.

Litecoin is a potential coin and for sure those people have a lot of litecoin in their wallet and hold it for few years will earn a lot of profit for sure.  But I don't think litecoin will become number 1 in the next few years.  Because for me the possible become no.  1 will be ethereum and if ether die the next will be litecoin.  But we don't know what coin will be the next bitcoin.

Litecoin had most of its user base in China, and most of them have dumped the coins. So I am not very excited about the future prospects of this particular coin. But it is one of the coins in my portfolio for the past 3-4 years.

I agree Lite coin have bright future because if you seen the chart of litecoin its rose more than 100x in 1 year and  5x in just 1-2 month but after market crash litecoin also come down but now litecoin trading at around 156$ you can invest for the target of 500$ in next 6-8 months or if this market again enter in bullish zone we can see 500$ in just 2-3 months and Litecoin is securely stored in a wallet on your computer, tablet, phone or laptop.So I will buy and add some litecoin in my portfolio.

there are a lot of pumps coming very soon. i am 100% sure of that but to say LTC will be the biggest pump (kind of all coins) is not the words i'd choose.

Bitcoin is being dropped by merchants because it is unusable. If Litecoin can take over as the main payment processor, it will overtake bitcoin.

I think it is because they anticipate bitcoin to continue to have high fees and transaction times in the future (even though the mempool is temporarily cleared right now).

It is really going to be doing great this year. That is not even just the whole thing, Litepay has been introduced that will help real life usage for payment and having such a payment processor which is one of the things a lot of people have been looking forward to.

King of all coins is the Bitcoin, no other one can be. If Litecoin value increases and reaching closer to Bitcoin, it will have to deal with problems Bitcoin is dealing right now. It will have increasing number of unconfirmed transactions, increased transaction fee and pressure from governments. Why would anyone choose Litecoin instead of Bitcoin in that case?
If you say king of all altcoins I would rather say Ethereum because it offers something different than as a payment method.
I am not saying Litecoin is bad, but it will always stay as a small brother of Bitcoin.

I do not think that Litecoin can become a coin number 1. This coin was always the younger brother of bitcoin and never claimed the first place. Even if the team translates all of its plans into reality, LTC will not become a leader. It's just a pilot area for BTC ;)

Litecoin is worthless and overhypes coin. I can't do anything with my litecoin after I bought them all from exchange site. It's only winning in its history compared with another crypto. Litecoin just alternative to the bitcoin and no more. When i can use another token to access or get utility usage of the token and I can't get anything in litecoin.

In my opinion, I would not buy Litecoin but invest in Ethereum because my future would be sure that Ethereum would be more potent crypto than Litecoin. Blockchain 2.0 technology will be stable and completely replace Bitcoin with Blockchain 1.0 technology at present. So if you want to make a long-term investment, make an investment in Ethereum instead of Litecoin.

I also do not understand why Litecoin is called the king of all existing crypto coins. Yes, it is faster than Bitcoin, but why then we do not call NEO the king? It makes even more transactions per a second! However, Litecoin is the coin to have in your wallet, sure.

Litecoin has great potentials, but the OP really overdid it calling it the king. The Litepay is actually good news for it and I am sure that would give it a huge boost for real life usage. Also, this dip is actually just a perfect time to be buying this coin, as I am sure in the next few days when the rally starts, LTC should be joining quickly in the rally.

Nevertheless, this does not mean that bitcoin protocol will not be upgraded and we will see developments like this easily, which will always give bitcoin that edge.

Actually we can't find any coins that have a stable price, all of them are in volatile. LTC down tends seems to be good for investors that have enough capital, because even though it dumps but still expensive and only stabilized investors can afford this.

basically LTC is following BTC imo, and if you think it will be a good year for BTC, it would be very profitable to invest in LTC.

I think the same, many do not think too much of litecoin because they see it as a lesser version of bitcoin, even some people compare bitcoin to gold and litecoin to silver but it is one of those coins that keeps being developed and it keeps having steps in the right direction, litecoin activated segwit before bitcoin and that is a trend I think we are going to keep seeing in the future, so if you can invest in litecoin do it since theses prices are very good.

But I can partially agree with you. Litecoin is really a good coin, considering it will evolve with hard works.
Still, don't forget there is Ethereum. Ethereum is much, much better project with much much potential than Litecoin.

Litecoin still can't be number if there are no big companies support,  there are no real place tgat can be used to spend litecoin, litecoin only got speed transaction, its a good coin to hold for long term and make profit but to be become number 1 still very far, most investors see litecoin as a common coin

I would not be so quick to judge on that. It is the community that determines, and with the good news on the project litecoin is doing with their payment system which would make a lot of people see it as a good opportunity to be able to use cryptocurrency easily in real life; this would mean a lot for the growth of the coin.

I would still be holding much on bitcoin as this is one that I am hugely bullish on, long term once the LN is fully operational. You guys should watch out for Bitpay! ;D

LTC can get pumped midterm, but longterm value of it is 0. Once BTC stops being slow and expensive there is no need for LTC at all. With LN coming online that could happen much faster than you think

But BTC won't solve it's scaling issues soon. Meanwhile LTC is already scalable upto some extinct and it has a team leader (Charlie lee) to lead LTC in the right way and to implement lightning network. There is no one to take care of the Bitcoin now even core team is also busy with their real life works.

I can buy a few when it price will down to $50, but now his price terribly overrated. I love more risky assets and not those who can do + 10% growth.

It is still a good time to buy though for long term, and I would not really place it in the category of shit coin, even though it has normally been in the shadow of bitcoin anyway but they have something good going for it. I am not sure, but I guess the OP decided to bet hugely and long on this one, so it is his call, but I guess my holding is good enough for me and I prefer just having it mostly in BTC which is the real king. Yeah the OP exaggerated since there is only one coin which is the king and we all know the name of that coin, but litecoin is a very good coin in its own right, I have a theory that even if bitcoin will keep being the top coin that litecoin will be the most used coin for transactions, since people will not want to use their bitcoin but they will be glad to use their litecoin to buy stuff like groceries.
