I have not ever seen the whole market under red signals.
Bitcoin now $8049,
Ethereum now $816. Its probably going low.
Is there any chance to go it under $600?
If its gone, then it will crash a lot as from my thinking.

I don't see why It cannot go to $600. Let's be honest, 12 months ago ETH was $300. Imagine if you bought 10,000 at $1 each.
ETH fortunately has an actual use and will be prosperous without doubt. This correction was inevitable. Don't sell at a loss, you'll see it back at $1,000 within a month surely.

No, $8k is the lowest price of bitcoin and $800 is the lowest price of ethereum. I think both have reached the lowest price this year, maybe the movement will be stable between $8k - $9k for btc and $800 - $900 for eth.

I think it's very difficult. If the price of ETH is less than $600, then I think the price of bitcoin may be just $5,000.
The cost of digging up bitcoin is now close to $5, 000, and I think it's unrealistic to expect that to fall so far.

I think the drop in Ethereum price seems to be directly proportional with BTC and I think once BTC may able to spike again at a promising increase probably Ethereum will follow the the trend pattern. Anyway, the possibility of another drop up to 600USD may seem to happen but would anyhow believe that this will be temporary in nature and hoping that this will soon continue to grow just like it had attained in the past months. Hold your coin and wait for the right time as this increase will happen soon.

if bitcoin keeps go lower and lower the price, possible ethereum will go lower under $600, it just temporary red in the market once bitcoin increase again then all altcoin will be green in the market.

That's another possibility. We should not be closed-minded as to the various possibilites that may happen in the days to come. But of course it is also a possibility that $700 will prove to be the resistance and it will not go down lower than that. We have to take note that it has already gone down from around $1,400 to $800. That's already a very big fall. It must stop somewhere. And $700 is a good resistance point since that is approximately 50% from its highest price already.

We really don't know but if this would happen. Then I might as well buy some or accumulate more because this is a very huge discount for me because I'm keen on participating on different ICOs. To be honest, we can not really predict exactly the changes in the value of crypto currency, including ethereum.
all this time, ethereum showed a very good development and has very good value in the market, many investors are interested to invest in ethereum.

I think ethereum get increase although for a little price and now reach $823 but the possibility to get down still wide open since the candle is still in the red candle. I don't know if ethereum has got a chance to go under $600 but it might happen if there is panic selling from the market so people don't want to lose both bitcoin and ethereum at the same time. bitcoin itself is trying to increase but unfortunately, it seems to many declines in the price so it makes the price down again and now reaches $8028.

I don't think ether will touch down on $600 let alone going below it. Ether has been fairly consistent even in this bear. The use of ether as a currency for many services especially ICO is making ether stable. Ether might be increasing in this bear for all you care.

If you trade Ethereum with bitcoin, dollar price doesn't, matter because in bitcoin trade the price is still stable. You will only worry if you trade your Ethereum directly to dollar which means you  lose more rather than trade it to bitcoin pairing.

Looking at the huge dump with Bitcoins price now, Ethereum could possibly happen the same thing. It can also drop to $600 or even more lesser than that amount. Sometimes if Bitcoins price will be stable around a certain amount, the prices of these altcoins sometimes goes down with or somewhat like a domino effect but there are times it goes the other way around.

Yes their is always a possibilities of the price that migjt go under $600. If we look into bitcoin price from last year and today their is a huge difference. So a possibilities will always happen in cryptocurrency.

I noticed, that all altcoin prices are depending from BTC prices alot. So when bitcoin is going down, all alts are going down. Today we have about 1:10 BTC/ETH ratio. I think when Bitcoin reaches 3000$ and ratio will be 1:10 still, then we can see ETH reaches 300$. Alot of people will give up with Cryptos (especially miners, and young investors who hates red color). Then we will see great difficulty drop in mining, and everything will back to normal. But most important is to belive in crypto. I belive only in ETH, because is a huge platform for Smart Contracts. When ETH will fall, then 90% of crypto's and icos will fall.

Let's not forget that the price of $ 700 is quite large. When the price of a btc was $ 7,000 in November, an ether was $ 300. I think ethereum has more value as btc we just have to wait. if eth can be below 400 then this is an opportunity to buy more eth and hold it because sooner or later eth price will start stable again. if you have a qualified capital and you are patient, not panic precisely this becomes a multiplier benefit for you later.

Good decision out there dude, alts crashing is purely because of bitcoin falling price and if ethereum go under $600 then bitcoin must be under $5k by that time. This must be the good time to hold fiat or usdt than crypto in order to negate up coming more price dip.

I was not satisfied with this price fall in both bitcoin and Ethereum.I was mining ethereum with mano pool and bitcoin with another mining setup.Now the price of both bitcoin and ethereum is reduced.This made huge loss for me,if the price of both coin is increased.I was able to recover from my loss.

The high in Eth was around 1400. A 90% drop in crypto is not unusual so that gets us to $140. Good luck.

Yes, it is for sure, ethereum will go under 600$ but it will recover soon and it might make to 1500$. Ethereum is a good project because it enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications. Ethereum will be under 600$ worthwhile but it will boom in the next days/moths.

I don't believe so because there seems to be a bullish sentiment now given the news that is pending to come out of the US of A tomorrow. Nothing is certain of course and it could be a bull trap but the outlook is certainly much more positive than it was earlier today. If all things go well Ethereum won't go under $600 but if things go bad then we may see Ethereum cheaper than $400.

Price of the ethereum now is $600 and I think it will decrease little. But for sure it will recover again after few weeks of waiting.  It will back again to the price of $1000 and possible the price increase at $5000 before end of this year 2018. The fluctuation of the crypto prices is very excessive today. It wouldn't make a surprise if ETH makes even worse prices. But, the future of ETH is still very clear and promising for me. Buyers can buy ETH I think.

It almost reached that level but good grief it was able to somehow avoid it. At this moment, its market value is now rising which is a good thing. So the best thing to do now is to continue holding and investing to earn profit as its value in the market is recovering.

We can't says if the ethereum coin price were going down to $600, because it was growing up now and their value are starting to become stable. Because of the past news about banks not allowing credit card holders to buy altcoins it is possible that it will go under $600, anything can happen in the market because of it's nature. It's inevitable but like what I've said anything can happen. Just look at the situation these past weeks it went red but look what happening now, eth is recovering from it's dip.

I agree with you, ethereum is more practical to use as fees are affordable, transaction confirmation times/block-times are short and its majority support does come from ICOs and the use of smart contracts which is basically its initial purpose. Hence it assures me that demand for eth will be there, we might not even see it go under $600 as expected!

Definitely, Ethereum also go below $600 as all of the coins are including the Bitcoin declined more than 3 times. The next support price for the Bitcoin is $5,000 and the Ethereum is $450. So, wait a little bit at least $500 if you want to buy in dip but otherwise Altcoins are always have the opportunity of investment.

Don't panic just relax. Everything is just a part of the natural price movement of ETH. I don't care if it will go under the $600. What price ETH started before it cross the line of the four figure digit? If drop low for sure it can climb back again. As long as the business is on I still believe that ETH has the potential to still grow and reach $10,000 or break its own record price.

It is really disaster for market, if talking possibility then everything is possible. It depends on the market psychology as this crypto market has smaller market then fiat. Back to economy principle, supply and demand is definitive. It is lot of supply, more people sell their coins to receive fiat. Market are influenced by news and also any restrictions made by some countries. I believe this crypto will go to buy trend again but it will need time to recovery.

Personally i find it very difficult for ethereum to go under $600 because even in the darkest time we had couple of days ago , it bounced back from something around $650. Ethereum stands on a strong basis now so it's much harder for it to go down compared to other alt coins. I think it's a good time to buy ethereum anytime. We can't predict any sudden pump or dump by just seeing the analysis in a short period of time. It takes long term to have some sources to make a pattern that will surely it will happen. So it is better to hold your altcoins and sell it to the right time.

The price moves with each and every altcoin including ethereum is dependent on bitcoin. Now bitcoin is on the growing path with increased usage and more investors getting into it even after several outburst of negative news. Another thing is the China new year which won't let the value go low.

Ethereum was close to that price when you posted that thread but since then it has recovered  more than 200 dollars since then and the market seems to be in a better shape than a week ago so the chances of reaching that price have gone down but we know that things never stay the same in crypto so you may have a chance to get Ethereum for less than 600 dollars if more FUD appears.

It was a close call but thankfully it didn’t drop below $600. Because it was an important support point. I saw it like 10k support for bitcoin. After bitcoin drop below 10k it came down till 6-7 k. I think ethereum will keep on growing and reach 2k before it’s too long.

My understanding is that Ethereum has far too large of a user base to crash and not recover. There are many tokens on the Ethereum network and the Ethereum blockchain can acctually be used for something other than to prove transactions.

When OP made this post, Ethereum was crashing alongside Bitcoin, but the crash was due to a bitcoin correction. Probably in the future, Bitcoin wont hold so much weight over Ethereum and the prices wont synchronize as much.

ETH and Bitcoin not always move in the same direction but for that to happen we need to have different views about the coins, right now most of the FUD that came was against cryptocurrencies in general and not only against bitcoin so it makes sense the whole market lost value and not only bitcoin, but if we get good news for bitcoin and bad news for ETH it makes sense bitcoin will go up while ETH goes down.
