I honestly think ETC is like Litecoin. It all depends on how Ethereum does. If Ethereum goes to $2k next month, you will definitely see this coin move too. When the price of ETH was at $1300 ETC was at $32, so you definitely bought in at the right price. I predict $50-60 end of 2018.

ETC i predict this year grew up twice or more in middle year 2018, may be in april or may..we hope

i hope it will recover soon, it was going to a nice price before the market crash, it tested some times 40$ barrier so i think that 60$ in the next monts it's a good deal, let's see how much time it will take to go there

Hardly think maybe in this specific case, usually that is the case but not when there is a hard fork coming up with asset on the other side. Do we remember what happened to Zclassic and Bitcoin before their respective hard forks? Yup that question about sums it up for me, I hope others can draw similar conclusions.

Agree that ETC can't move up if ETH stands still but ETC can't be higher than $35 at the end of this year unless more pairs are created with exchanges or ICOs

too early to make predictions if market conditions have not stabilized, rises and falling prices will still occur in recent months. if btc and eth have not recovered then other alt will also not change.

ETC was over $45 last month before this big correction. It should head to $45 or higher going into the Callisto airdrop date. If crypto market starts a strong rally, then it could go to new highs, maybe in the $50 - $100 range.

It's stable coin. but what makes you think if ethereum classic worth to buy my friend, can you tell me the reason behind it? I just feel curious about if you are purchasing such stable coin for long term investment rather than put all of your money in those were at the bottom at the time you were writing this thread.

Talking about on its future price i have no target for that, yet i have a huge expectation on that coin since it was on its buy zones and hasn't grew in a long time. This coming months there are plenty of news and announcements on ETC its hard to speculate it because the bitcoins price will also dictates the big movement or it can blocked the big event if it was on bad timing.

the recent dumps all around the market meant if you bought in the dips or practically anywhere near the bottom, then you are now in profit and you can be sure that your investment was decent at the very least.
ETC is not such a bad investment, and although i don't see any pumps coming to it at the moment but it had no major pumps for a while which can give it potential enough for a decent pump.

A lot of people expect the ETC's price to go rally in next month thanks to the Callisto airdrop. I think Callisto is an very promising project and airdrop since it's a brand new blockchain that offer possible scaling solutions, test experimental protocols, and set up a governance system which incentivizes both miners and coin holders. I am pretty sure a lot of people are interrested to buy ETC for the Callisto airdrop near March

Litecoin is much better than ethereum classic, I think ethereum classic is not a good investment at all, you should rather invest in ethereum. ETC has no future for me.

I am hearing about the airdrop from this forum and it looks like there is a bit of advertisement about it and a mere speculation that the price of CLO will be around $300, i am not sure how these speculations are made as some of the things are crazy as you never know why the price is increasing,and in that regard the speculation is that the price of ETC will increase,i am holding some coins which i had during the initial split and never did anything with it,that is more than enough,lets see what will happen.

This is perfect move you done at the present situation. You have to manage the investment by splitting to some etc you invested now to other cryptos too.
Since the dump is almost over in the market we can expect better growth in the market in all the coins.

You should be asking this question before you buy not after , Can you tell me what you will do if you do not get the answer you are looking for !? . Are you gonna sell back the ETC you bought ! .

Anyway , My prediction is ,  It might get decent pump by the end of this year , It will depend on how eth will act . I really think that ETC will boom once ETH switch to POS . And people start to point there rigs to ETC .

Just hold ethereum classic. It is a good coin compare to others. I believe that it will have a good price in the future. IF you want to read more about it, just look around on the internet. Try to learn more about the ETC blockchain. IT is also very good

I think you invested at an affordable time, but the ethereum classic is a slow paced coin. If you keep it long, you can sell it for $50.

I think the price of an ETC will increase once the btc returns to 10k. The price will be higher if new  tokens are developed on the ETC platform.

Yes, they mentioned hard fork for ETC in the month of the march but once ETH blockchain converts to POS than the price of ETC will be soring. Nowadays we are seeing huge potential in ETC, let us wait for the huge price bump in the market.

In my opinion, ETC is very good long-term investment because some years later Ethereum will switch to POS and then Miners should have to switch from ETH to ETC (as one of many variants).

Everything depends about ethereum. If eth grow, them eth classic too. I think in near future eth classic will grow up to maybe 40$, mas 50. It is really possible

ETC has good growth drivers for this spring - callisto airdrop in early March and desktop wallet release in late March.

I won'T sell my Ethereum Classics below 100 USD. I think the new upcoming CLO airdrop for ETC holders will drive price to new highs.

I currently more often use etc as an alternative because in terms of low fee and also a minimal price per coin makes it easy to store and manage the coin. your choice is correct. and market conditions now show good graphs. hopefully it reaches a fantastic price this year.

I think that ETC price will fall a lot after 5th of Marc, because people are buying now for the airdrop but then they will dump it.

Exactly, at some point a group of people decided that they don't like ETH anymore and whoohoo, let's make ETC. But ETC doesn't have any new features or ideas behind. Doesn't offering anything like the new alts like NEO, XRP and so on.

ICOs investing is much more better and with a higher change for a good profit than ETC!

It all depends from bitcoin price,if btc stays on this current levels or above i expect to see etc at 100$ but if btc goes under 8k etc will be 60-80$Best way to predict etc prise is to use 1eth:10etc price ration as this is what will happen again probably

Ethereum classic will have a hard fork in march. Off course it will boost the price to its highest i believe we will see ethereum classic will touch $100 untill the day before gard fork happened because people fomo buying and want to get 1:1 free staking coin. It also can help a whole crypto market cap. And decreasing another coin value for a moment.

It is very pleasant to trespass this coin because of unlimitedness. But to invest in forks well, it's like money was not enough for the original and we will buy a prototype. And the prototype will never be better, so my opinion is a big risk. A forecast for a price of up to $ 100 ceiling.

After Callisto airdrop and price didn't moveup I think you must stay away from it very. Big volume but price won't move idk why

I think ETC has a good community and ETH's prices have risen very high in the last one year. Individuals have bought ETC at $ 2 and I still hold to this point. I think 200 ETC is a good opportunity for you to invest in because the future ETC price may soon reach $ 1000 and I'm sure it will happen.

I don't see point of investing on ethereum classic anymore.. Ethereum is getting developed far more faster and it already proves its far more superior. I don't wanna stuck with ethereum classic in my wallet so..

Why? For me ETC is good and undervalued right now. Ofcouse we can't keep our money on one altcoin only we need to diversify properly don't worry this year ETC will surpass it's old ATH and this year will set it's new ATH.

i holded etc for around 1 year. and i lost so much money. ethereum classic is very useless comparing with ethereum. i though that whenever barry was in the price could go up easily that is why i holded them so long but anyway it was a mistake.

All coins are well down from their peak in 2017. If you had chosen different coin you would still be in same position.

Unfortunately the price of etc has fallen a lot since the Callisto airdrop, it will ne hard to get back to his ath of almost 50$ but now it's very cheap so you can male good gains, it can easily get back to 30$ or 40$ so you can have al least a 50% gain or eventi more

I bought it early, judging by the report, the Ethereum Classic had not reached its bottom at the time. So now you should expect more time to get past the level of purchase, and the top point will be even harder to get.  But the hope for the end of the year, and there everything will depend on many factors, forks are much more difficult to restore.

Good decission if you bought it at dip like the price today. But as far as i know i always wacth etc market it will always 1/10 ethereum price and thats happened to all forked coin.if ethereum is at $531 per today price its mean etc price can goes arround $53 or at least $40

I'm waiting for ETC growth already since June when i was advised to buy . The maximum price was about 750k satoshi, but i'm sure this year we will see 1000k satoshi .

No, Eth miners will change to mine Etc and few months after that, Etc price will be push up to get profit from miners. Beside Etc have good technology and i think the price still low.

Wow, 200 ETC is a great amount of money :). I think the best option for you is holding till the market pump again, maybe it'll take months to make the market green all the time again but I think if you are patient enough to hold all these amount of ETC till Q4 of this year, you'll become a millionaire with 200 ETC :))).

I see that this coin sits in the range of 16 to 21 dollars. You can make money on this. This is a small percentage of profits, but they are also very pleasant for daily trading. I'm not sure that this coin is good for long-term retention.
