I honestly think ETC is like Litecoin. It all depends on how Ethereum does. If Ethereum goes to $2k next month, you will definitely see this coin move too. When the price of ETH was at $1300 ETC was at $32, so you definitely bought in at the right price. I predict $50-60 end of 2018.

Hardly think maybe in this specific case, usually that is the case but not when there is a hard fork coming up with asset on the other side. Do we remember what happened to Zclassic and Bitcoin before their respective hard forks? Yup that question about sums it up for me, I hope others can draw similar conclusions.

Agree that ETC can't move up if ETH stands still but ETC can't be higher than $35 at the end of this year unless more pairs are created with exchanges or ICOs

too early to make predictions if market conditions have not stabilized, rises and falling prices will still occur in recent months. if btc and eth have not recovered then other alt will also not change.

but there is nothing wrong if you buy etc with a very cheap price.

ETC was over $45 last month before this big correction. It should head to $45 or higher going into the Callisto airdrop date. If crypto market starts a strong rally, then it could go to new highs, maybe in the $50 - $100 range.

It's stable coin. but what makes you think if ethereum classic worth to buy my friend, can you tell me the reason behind it? I just feel curious about if you are purchasing such stable coin for long term investment rather than put all of your money in those were at the bottom at the time you were writing this thread.

Talking about on its future price i have no target for that, yet i have a huge expectation on that coin since it was on its buy zones and hasn't grew in a long time. This coming months there are plenty of news and announcements on ETC its hard to speculate it because the bitcoins price will also dictates the big movement or it can blocked the big event if it was on bad timing.

the recent dumps all around the market meant if you bought in the dips or practically anywhere near the bottom, then you are now in profit and you can be sure that your investment was decent at the very least.
ETC is not such a bad investment, and although i don't see any pumps coming to it at the moment but it had no major pumps for a while which can give it potential enough for a decent pump.

I think Callisto is an very promising project and airdrop since it's a brand new blockchain that offer possible scaling solutions, test experimental protocols, and set up a governance system which incentivizes both miners and coin holders. Litecoin is much better than ethereum classic, I think ethereum classic is not a good investment at all, you should rather invest in ethereum. ETC has no future for me.

I am hearing about the airdrop from this forum and it looks like there is a bit of advertisement about it and a mere speculation that the price of CLO will be around $300, i am not sure how these speculations are made as some of the things are crazy as you never know why the price is increasing,and in that regard the speculation is that the price of ETC will increase,i am holding some coins which i had during the initial split and never did anything with it,that is more than enough,lets see what will happen.

This is perfect move you done at the present situation. You have to manage the investment by splitting to some etc you invested now to other cryptos too.
Since the dump is almost over in the market we can expect better growth in the market in all the coins.
