Chinese payment processor LianLian is set to participate in Ripple’s blockchain powered cross-border payments solution

LianLian is licensed in Hong Kong with 150 million registered users. LianLian processes billions in payments between merchants and consumers including major online retail sites, such as Amazon, Ali Express, and eBay.

People who are hard core cyrpto lovers doesn't like ripple...
The thing is, absolutely no one uses XRP, like literally no one uses it. People keep saying this for BTC, "I cannot use BTC at marketplaces?" but the thing is btc is at least used for peer-to-peer payments. For example, I charge my clients with btc, sometimes even eth.

Last but not least, ripple company behind it has been keeping its price artificially high for years now by controlling supply...
Ripples actions are artificial.

lately there are many payment providers who want to use ripple and this is an advantage of ripple to attract many new users and communities. we'll see, maybe the price increase will happen soon

I think ripple is a good coin with a good purpose. But I don't think it will ever reach any significant value due to it's astronomical supply.

I'm telling you there are a lot of coins out there that has more potential than ripple. Ripple are all about hype, a centralized coin, premined coin, made for banks and more than half of supply horded by the owners. Please try to search other coins that are more worth on your money.

Ripple is a potential coin. It has a great future. It has a great opportunity to hit big price. But market cap is down. Hopefully we will be able to see the good price of xrp.

I like the technology behind Ripple, but I think the coin is overhyped and nearly worthless, because most of the supply is still to be distributed.

I was disappointed in Ripple and now this coin can become the standard of centralization of crypto currencies. In the Bitmex blog, the authors of the study published new information that was not known before: "In January 2018, BitMEX Research group installed and launched a copy of Ripple for the purposes of this study.  The node is managed by downloading a list of five public keys from the server v1.ripple.com ... All five keys are assigned to Ripple.com.  The software indicates that four of the five keys are necessary to support the proposal so that it is accepted.  Since all the keys were downloaded from the Ripple.com server, Ripple essentially controls the development of the registry, so we can say that the system is centralized.  Indeed, our site indicates that the keys expire on February 1, 2018, implying that the software must again visit the Ripple.com server to download the new set of keys. "  As the study admits, centralized systems have many advantages in terms of performance, but "Ripple claims that the Ripple system is distributed, which can be considered misleading information."  Beginners, who currently make up the bulk of the crypto-currency community, either do not know, or simply do not think about, such principles as decentralization or the fact that the company controls the bulk of all XRPs.  The Bitmex report sheds light on the work of the company, whose operations are for the most part shrouded in mystery.

Rpx will probably never be used by banks, which are only interested by the protocole ripple, but if they use it, it will be for private blockchain.

Have you ever heard about Ivykoin ? It seems to be a good concurrent to rpx.

And i very pleased  with the speed of transactions! i bought 12000 ripple just for 2000 sat ( for 1 cent each) in April, and what we are seeing now? not for long time ago the price was 3$ :o :o  Does anybody still doubt that ripple a good investment? Just don't invest all of your funds in this coin, act according to the strategy and everything will be fine.

altcoin that should be owned and used to invest in the long term. very loss if it has no ripple and holds it for long-term investment.
Many are believing in Ripple and many are also not believing to it. This coin is very manipulative and I don't like on the owner became one of the richest person in the world when it reaches the ATH of $3.
Rpx will probably never be used by banks
It's XRP and its really intended to be used by the banks so in the future this will be adopted by the banks but it's market is shady and easy to manipulate by its owners.
Ripple to me is centralized and is more for about helping the banks than it about being apart of the crypto community.
This is the reason why I don't have Ripple even until now, I don't want to be part of it's community where the coin is centralized.

Ripple is a blockchain-like project like Bitcoin, launched to accelerate financial transactions between banks. This crypto has excellent potential in the future as it now attracts the attention of many banks in the world, so the future is sure Ripple will be one of the most potential cryptos in the market. So invest Ripple at the moment when the exchange rate is 1.04 dollars.

Ripple is still a better choice for investment despite of being a centralized cryptocurrency and geared mostly for the banks because it is a kind of technology that created for banks to enable faster payments and lower cost. Ripple is expected to duplicate its growth last 2017 as being one of the best performing cryptocurrency. Some large banks and other businesses like American Express are already partnered with ripple for a faster payment system.

Ripple is posted as one of the best performing cryptocurreny, gaining for an incredible 36,000% increase. Which earned them as the rank 1 cryptocurreny for the year 2017 leaving bitcoin at rank 14 which only gain 1300% increase. Right now ripple is listed as top 3 crytocurrency world wide, second is ethereum and obviously the first is the pioneer of all cryptocurrency none other than bitcoin. I cant tell or maybe no one can right now that ripple will still be one of the top gainers of this year, the cryptocurrency market is very volatile. So keep reading current news online and be updated.

yeah so basically it is a cryptocurrency but being controlled by the bank which makes its idea of being a cryptocurrency conflict to each other in the reality, Ripple has been a good investment last year might as well this year but there's a lot of promising coins up to this day, ripple's vision of fast transaction might be good for the banks but i think there is no more to it.

The main purpose of Ripple creation is as a global payment tool based on Internet Protocol, such as HTTP and TCP / IP used in website and data settings. However, Ripple is specifically designed to transmit and receive Universal Cross-Chain payments. That is, Ripple can act as an exchanger against the currency of the State (Rupiah, Dollar, Pound Sterling and others), Cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, LTC and others), up to Commodities (Gold and Silver). In short, Ripple becomes an easy solution for the exchange of currency with each other.

I think this could also affect ripple's price. Affect in a good way since lianlian is a big company. And also, there will be a lot of investors if this is going to happen.

Ripple has overtaken Ethereum in market capitalization to become the second most valuable cryptocurrency. The first major cryptocyrrency to be owned by a for-profit enterprise, Ripple saw a huge jump towards the end of 2017. The digital currency costs slightly over $2, making it more affordable than Bitcoin (about $15,000) and Ethereum (about $890). In 2017, Ripple rose about 36,000 percent. Ripple’s market capitalization is over USD 102 billion, while Ethereum’s market capitalization is over $86 billion.

In general, despite that the price of Ripple is very low (less than $ 0.6) compared to other cryptocurrencies but this currency has a great characteristic which is the highest value of market cap (more than 20 Billion Dollars) and the something about the value of circulating supply. Furthermore, due to the price of XRP in decline, so this certainly an appropriate period to buy a huge amount of this currency, and IMO Ripple is the best profitable cyryptocurrency in the long term (more than 6 months, and even years).
On the other hand, I expect that the price of Ripple will increase to more than  $1  after a  few weeks ( 1-3 ) especially  when Bitcoin will back to  the rise with an acceptable value ( more than  $ 10 K  ).

Ripple is a blockchain platform designed to solve cross-border payment problems. The success of Ripple is that it provides financial institutions with cross-border remittance solutions and is now working with many financial institutions. On the other hand, XRP is just a paid tool used on the Ripple platform. It is a banking product that exists independently of Ripple. However, XRP still has a low utilization rate in financial institutions today. I am very optimistic about ripple because it is very valuable. In a ripple-connected network environment, banks can use legal currencies with stable values such as the US dollar, and they can also try to use virtual currencies such as XRP, which is currently the best mode of choice.

I am less interested in investing in Ripple coins, because the volume in the exchanger is not large and the volatility level is also small. That way the opportunity to gain profit from trading also becomes small. For long term investment I also do not see Ripple going to flourish.

I thought that ripple will get a little pump (in past) and it done it, nowadays it has a down and for me it will surprise us more than once in future with its value, so i believe that it could bring some profits and investing could be a nice move.

My point of view is the following: Ripple is not going to grow much. It reached its maximum in January, and I do not believe that it can hit the same price in the nearest 2 years. Better choose the other altcoins.

ripple (XRP token) is a trash but very good for pump and dump, a fools gold the company can freeze your tokens anytime they want  ;D newbies think its the next big thing in crypto while veterans pump it to accumulate more btc from newbies when regulations will get tough its the xrp and other ico coins which will suffer the most the ripple company on the other hand does have some use case so it might survive but the token is worthless just for speculations

To be honest I don't understand people who believe in Ripple coins at all. I can't understand one thing, you didn't see the dollar printed in a very large volume. This coin has so many coins that are not issued, which simply lie in reserve. Banks can instantly bring down this coin in price. Full delirium.
The hype also brings down the value of ripple, knowing that banks might use the system gives traders and investors an interest to play with the market, but after realizing the possibilities that banks also might control the movements, now its really a risk investing with this coin and it is for those who can manage the never ending sway between ripple and btc pair.

I think that you are right. Ripple is not the best currency, and it cannot be even called the altcoin as it is centralized. I believe that we should better pay attention to the other, better cryptocurrencies.

the basic idea crypto economy is decentralization. the world has changed the old scheme in the form of a" pyramid " with the ubiquitous eye on the top loses its power. The time has come when the management of the movement and direction takes on the responsible and involved - the awakened individuals of a community and decentralized projects in which the community decides by voting ahead - for their future. RIPL is not decentralized ie products of the past era with the ubiquitous eye of Sauron on top of remember it!

One thing I know for sure is that this coin has a huge growth potential, and can only prove itself in long-term investments. Ripple is older than Bitcoin, what not many people know. It was based on another algorythm but the idea was there first. After Bitcoin revealed itself the authors merged Ripple soft with blockchain verification protocol to prevent double spending which was the biggest issue. To be honest, its a nice piece of thech but even the banks involved in creating the current Ripple iteration are not using it on the open market.

Ripple staff has to show some success based on real world applications, maybe than it will start to rise.

The biggest success of the ripple is that the ripple has the stability that Bitcoin, Ethereum does not have. The stability here is not about the price but how a startup company operates. The company has CEO, marketing department, staff. This brings the truth of a project, with less speculative nature. Ripple always receives great support from the investment community, which helps it grow steadily in this market.

Ripple is a large-capitalized currency so you can hold all the time, just in time for low prices and hold, now for only $ 0.48 / XRP is low for you to head With the large community, developed by many large companies, the Ripple will certainly be the currency of the future, which will compete strongly with Bitcoin.

Ripple is a global distributed payment and exchange system, within the framework of which the eponymous cryptocurrency XRP operates. The project was launched in 2012 by Ripple Labs, in open code with its own Protocol HTTPS (Ripple Transaction Protocol). Founder-canadian programmer and entrepreneur jed McCaleb. He is also the Creator of the ill-fated crypto exchange MtGox, hacked by hackers in 2014, with a fatal outcome. However, he sold it long before the break-in. Ripple is better than blockchain. The source code was written in 2004, that is, it is older than bitcoin. In fact, it is a separate platform that uses only the General principles of the blockchain. Initially, the creators did not plan to make a ripple cryptocurrency: a global platform for the exchange of values in real time was created. Now it is the best cryptocurrency in the banking sector is able to get to the first place in the ranking of cryptocurrencies. Maybe so and you can still buy it at a low price so what are you waiting for.

I do not think it is professional, it is just a product that is always manipulated by others because you can see that, in many times, a lot of good news about it but the price has never increased, it almost caused an absolute disappointment for investors. And after people forget and ignore it, the value of the ripple is constantly rising, manipulation of price is too obvious, I do not think we should join and invest in it, it just makes us fall into the trap and lose money in vain

One interesting side of Ripple is Ripple's collaboration with the government. We all see that the Ripple has a power that is so extraordinary and that is the added value possessed by the ripple. The government is an important value because of the government's huge role in the direction of the development of the crypto world. some consider Ripple to have negative things and some consider ripple to have many benefits, all of which depend on our perspective on currency ripple.

I think that Ripple is a good commercial project that was created by centralised banks. I do not like its idea and think that this is not a crypto currency. Maybe some people would gain benefits from investing it Ripple and this is their choice.

Ripple in my opinion is a very promising coin for long-term investment and a very attractive price for potential buyers and investors. While the coin is undervalued for the present.
