i am thinking to invest in doge coin.

For me it is risky because Dogecoin was created as joke based on the website  ;D although it is rank as top 50 on coinmarketcap some people thought it would die a long time ago. if I were you I would invest on other strong coin with big potential like Ethereum, Ripple, Neo and Cardano. there are some coins with potential too but you must do your own research first before getting involve with that specific coin  ;)

Despite the unusual cause of the creation  ;D ;D ;D , Dogecoin for today is well recognized and moving on an upward trend of the crypto currency. Positive situation around this coin and high interest received by investors this year are likely to push the DOGE rate upwards in 2018.  8)

Arent you joking ? dogecoin has been dead for about 2years,there is not active development a long time ago.The only reason why doge is pumping because this is the year of the dog and most chinese believed in fengshui that is why some whales are making fun of this coin,it is purposely created to be a meme coin from the start and the developer has no intention to develop it to be a better coin that has use,doge can be used to transfer bitcoin from exchange to exchange because it has faster tx speed and less fees than bitcoin and ethereum.

This coin is a joke. I would not even think about it. You can find in the market a large variety of the same rubbish coins

You should try to,if you really want to get rekt with this shitcoin,it is literally giving away your money to those people who got trapped in this coin.But if you ask me there still some use with this coin,few people are taking advatange its tx speed and less fee to transfer bitcoins from exchange to exchange or wallet to wallet.

It's better to choose some gambling/finance/VR/AI ICO and wait few months.

I don't think anyone can tell you for sure.. but there are a lot of great coins with bright futures that are still (relatively) cheap that are way better investments. Also, investing in ICO's is generally better because you get a cheaper price and sometimes even bonus coins or discounts.

Why now it's an old coin with solid community and it's being pump from time to time, although we cannot consider a fast-rising coin in the market, it is still a coin that will always profitable and everyone is encourage to keep a share of Dogecoin, they are on the league of monero and digibyte it build up slowly but steady.

I think it is a great risk to invest in the dogecoin. he has no purpose and his production is endless. the excavation is very comfortable and the price is very speculative.

I mentioned the previous topic I do not suggest you to take it.It disappointed me.I did not make any profit from dogecoin.

I understand your perception that you didnt make any profit for them ..but it might be only your own perception which i really respect. but it doesnt mean that as you didnt make any profit there is no any other person can make the profit too. i understand its highly risky. but, personally me i gained profit of 2 times when doge was selling with only 20 satoshi. but what i did.. i just wait for a long time as i had a beleieve that its gonna maintain its price to 50-60 satoshi. i sold it when it turned into 44 satoshi.  so i think it varies by people and his investment strategy. i always say to people to do the study of coins historical data before anyone decide to invest.

Agreed but i really dont think doge coin gonna end like the way ree coin did. And with agreed upon you..i just wanna say some thing cause you mentioned a term "great Risk". All crypto-currencies do come with risk. like btc price falling down from 20k to 6k happened for the uncertainty which i can say is a risky term. Um not supporting Doge coin but, if you can see like...to make the profit of twice of the time of your investment btc need to be reach about above 10k but on the other hand for doge coin its not that huge.

My whole perception of these talks only to say that. if you see doge coin to be at 20 sat down then you can do some investment and also need to keep some patience cause like the way people use doge-block chain network to trade it gives me the believe of doge coin never gonna end but gonna sustain a low amount of value for a long time like 50-100 satoshi.  doge coins block chain is way much faster then Bitcoin and the Charges are low for which trader like me use it to get the arbitrage profit by withdrawing money from one trade house to another.

so doge coin is risky but if you are smart enough to deal with it then rewards are also comes with high amount of profit. high risk High gain thats the law

well as I said in my earlier comments if you wanna earn some profit or gain some profit then its better for you to wait for a while and let it drop a lill bit to 25 satoshi. then you can make some investment. cause currently doge coin is now being dealing on trading platform with the value of fifty to fifty five satoshi. think if you invest 100 dollars what will happen when it fall to 30 you gonna loose half of your stake or investments which gonna be the risky attempt or you can say throwing your money to the uncertainty. so wait for a while before you make an investment.

And as per my understanding doge coin gonna sustain its value in between 50 - 100 satoshi for a long period of time.

There are so many better projects to invest in instead of Dogecoin.  I wouldn't invest in this coin.  Look for a project that has continuous developments and put your money there.  You'll end up making better returns on your investment.  

If you benefit from doge, buy it. the answer you know better and determine you get a profit or not. if you ask the public, then there will be lots of suggestions to answer your questions. I can only give you the spirit. because every cryptomaniac, would want a profit. so do not let you hesitate to choose it

Try to invest in it a little, remember that little. Try your luck, maybe you will have fun. But do not invest too much in it. Take it as a pastime.

I think doge is not for long-term investments, but if you want to invest short-term and want to profit from trading, it's fine.

All I can know that doge coin have exist more than 4 years so it means people still interest with dogecoin.
IMO it's worth to invest or just use doge as main transaction since the value did not significantly increase or decrease.

You have to think twice or more :D I dont see dogecoin to be good for long term investment. So many users of this dogecoin only use this for giving tips to other. There are more better altcoin than dogecoin to invest for good. I will go for ethereum , litecoin , monero and dash instead.

Well, a Doge is an internet meme coin. I'm sure the price is highly speculative, but I'm sure Dogecoin will have a special place in their hearts for the cryptocurrency user. We know this is rare joke coin because we can't see any other joke coin other than Dogecoin.

I think it's going to be risky, despite its rank as top 50 in coinmarketcap some people think it will die long ago. it was intentionally created as a meme coin from the start and the developer had no intention of developing it into a better coin that had ever been used.

What do you (or most people) mean when you say "invest"? You want to buy some and hold onto it for 10 years and become rich? Probably not. Do you want to day trade? Sure. Do you want to buy some and sell or 2x profit in a few months and then repeat every year? Sure. Right now though it's too high. Once it gets under 40 it will start to become time to buy for the next "pump'.

Everything is risky, specially about doge coin. Has no significant price action, low volume and always get negative impact from bitcoin news. If we see from chart history, I don't see any good moving from doge. Besides that, doge coin used by trader only to send - received payment when bitcoin get delay ( alternative track transactions ). Leave doge and try another for better result.

Stay away from doge coins because it is a joke, and i dont even see potential in doge coin for long term, it is just a bandwagon for those who think they can make x5-x10 on doge coin. Try to invest to a real and potential coins out there

I think doge coin is not a good choice, because doge coin has no technology to continue to develop now, and only the community is left to maintain, so it has only the value of hype.

It has no technological advantage,

investing in cryptocurrency is risky, if you invest in dogecoin just short term investment only because the dev made the coin for fun but its useful transferring your money because of low fee in dogecoin, but I heard in 2019 dogecoin will go to the moon.

I have never had any negative think about doge coin and  I think you incure no risk by investing in doge coin, the only way your investment might be at risk is when you invest at the wrong price that is when you buy a coin at a very high price and it is dropping against you.That is the major reason I believe that doge coins is going to do well in future especially this year. Surely it is risky,and you are literally giving away your investment if you choose dogecoin because it is dead for years no active development from the past 2years because it is just a meme coin and it is created just for fun.

I personally feel the risk is high because developers have stopped developing the project.
Although this year is the year of the dog, this does not mean that the token will go up, but it is also possible that there will be some capital to hype up this token.

When i look in to daily chart, DOGE only good for short investment and not so good for long term hodl because in fundamental not strong to bring the price going up to 10 times or more. So for doge its good only for short investment, and for long term for the better make invest in others coin like ETH and DASH.

DogeCoin has been around since early 2014 and and it's trying to win the investors heart and one of DogeCoins's advantage is the speed and it's noted that  this coin is the fastest transaction speed in the market.
That's the reason why it is in the place and belongs to the Top Altcoins in the market and it is worth of your investments.

I do not recommend to invest in Doge Coin because I've been researching on this coin from past  2 years,but it's price is not rising and also it is also not giving satisfactory results.

I have too, as far as I know it is good to invest at doge coin, not risky at all. Eventhough they says the price is still the same but it is okay if short-term investment. If you are truely wanted to invest try any for you to earn because their is a changes and I believe the price will go up and up.

Dont invest in doge, it is only used by the whale to pump up the price, if you want to invest you need to keep on looking the price, doge can be quite profitable at certain time, but it's very risky and only suitable for short term, but I strongly suggest to not invest,  once the price go down it will be very difficult to go up again

I strongly agreed with you sir, why we should invested those coins having a high risk compared to trusted and promising coins like bitcoin and ethereum. Invested on crypto currency i considered as a very risky when put your money in their we don't know what will happen next on that coins.
Dogecoin now was quite stable price movement in the marketcap maybe after a year it will raise up again if you have enough money to invest why not, then hold for a long term. As what i have read in doge coin it is a strong coins and having great fundamental structure, teams and deloper.

if the problem is safe as long as the investment is bitcoin divip but my experience, I once invest my doge coin hold one year with initial capital $ 300 very little profit only 10% of my main capital. if you want to get a lot of profit by investing I suggest to invest BTC because the price of btc I believe will always be the highest of the other coin seen from the total supply coin btc just a little so much peminatnya very much from the conclusion that I believe the btc price there will be an increase

All coins investment not only Doge coins were risky to invest. Investment in coins needs to be strong enough to face the consequences of chance of price drops in the market because we were not able to control the market.

I think investing in Doge at the moment is not safe, because I think Doge prices have increased and will not increase again for the time being,  so i suggest you to invest in altcoin can increase of the price in the near future, like as NEO or CHSB.

Currently I would suggest you to wait a little bit. I always buy my dogecoin under 40 sats (20 sats if you can). Dogecoin is really periodic and until now, these cycles were always doing ~20-40 sats to ~80-160 sats.

It's a good cryptocurrency if you follow correctly these cycles  ;) Beware, of course we can't predict the future so these cycles could break and dogecoin could be deeply forgotten, as this is a cryptocurrency where only the community counts, there is no innovation or real development behind.

I can see only haters and no haters of dogecoin, why? My opinion of dogecoin is that is a very user-friendly coin, low fees, fast transaction. Many sites use now dogecoin and always the community getting stronger. Every day dogecoin pump and don't look only the price for this... So I think definitely dogecoin is a good coin to invest but you need to be patient for this.

But Dogecoin has been around since 2013 and has a pretty well-developed community.
But personally, as a general rule, I don’t usually recommend investing in something that is openly a joke.

Honestly, who cares how it was created if today we have a long living and established coin, accepted by all major markets? It has $16,966,200 trading volume, as of today, and it doesn't look like a $10k trading volume of a sh*tcoin. It looks impressive indeed and it means that many people value this coin.

Seriously, I think it's a decent coin, regardless of the fact that it was created as a joke. You just have to take into account the cycles one poster mentioned above, and according that theory, which I support, now it's time to buy DOGE.

Dogecoin has fluctuations where it has 50-100% swings. If you time these swings correctly you ought to make money.

I, like a  lot of people, consider it to be a joke coin. It's only value today - 2018 - is that the transaction cost is very low and it is near instantaneous.

This is not a reason to "invest" in it. It may be a reason to speculate that you could make money riding the wave. But I would recommend taking your time and energy and researching other currencies. But, your mileage may vary.

If you can time it right - you probably can make some money but for the long term, I'd choose something else.

Dogecoin is one of the "first-generation" altcoins. It was created much earlier than Ethereum and Stellar Lumens. But it failed to attract much attention during the peak days of Bitcoin, in 2013-14. Generally, it is regarded as a failed innovation. I have noticed that there is some interest for DOGE now, but I am not sure for how long it is going to last.

Any investment, especially into altcoins is very risky, but Dogecoin is very volatile currency that changes its positions very often. So it is even more risky to invest exactly into this coin, than to the others.

as i knew doge is most stable price peak if compare with other currency. not any significant progress on the dev yet. if safe or not i think safe but for a purpose as a invesment thats not a good idea. invest always integrate with profit purposes. just figure out another promising coin with long term research and develop, mostly will be a good chance for increase a value of your investment.

Well you have nothing to lose with doge coin because it's currently on 62 sats right it has possibility to go around 100+ sats if the market start to bullrun. Even though doge coin value goes you just have to wait only because it will come back but ofcourse we don't know when.

So when you look at the history of dogecoin, and the creator of them, you will see the whole coin was just a joke by the first dev. So he never thougt that this coin will ever get some value. DogeCoin is a Coin created just for Joke. As for my opinion, It is suited for just fast and cheap transfers between different exchanges.

Doge Coin is a crap. It is just a joke you can research on it. I won't recommend you to buy this because high risk is involved with it. It is currently floating somewhere in 50s satoshi and it has crossed 100 satoshi may be a month back but still don't risk your money by investing in this.
