I hope all of us remember the sudden surge in the value of Ripple in December then again it throttled down but if you notice the chart from few days again ripple is gradually gaining value so do you all think it will go through one more similar pump which occurred in December ?

Seems like Ripple is again gaining the momentum just look at the today's price itself it has been increased by 43% it is a great sign for the future. Once it was reached 4.5$ afterwards suddenly dropped in its price but now again increasing I think it may gain rise in coming days.

I think it all depends on the market cap. If it increases at that pace, ripple, ada and iota will see their previous top positions.
and currently they are like tails of bitcoin and lets hope that bitcoin does not fall, or at least stabilises somehow aroun 10k price.

You can call it a dead cat bounce. Once bitcoin make a bull run, Ripple will surely dump and it will go dumw to the price you never expected. It already happend before and it will happen again, that is why many are against on this altcoin because it is being manipulated by the banks.

Ripple price will rise for a while and then it will drop siginifantly again. I dont believe that it is a very good project but it is a very manipulative coin. Many poeple bought this coin when it was around $3. Now they are disappointed but it can even go up that level easily again.

In my opinion all popular cryptocurrency include Ripple has big posibillity to rise again because this coin has big community and the has real product and service already. Just wait patient for that because crypto market still baby and the market cap will increasing in long term.

Ripple is indeed one of the most important Crypto in the market and the best player to compete the dominance of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other Top Altcoins in the market.

I think this coin is still equal. Pump not once, as there are a lot of people who believe in the true technology of this coin. They see in it a good product and support of banks. Not everyone was disappointed. I personally hold this coin only for the sake of profit and nothing more.

Yes, I also got the ripple at very cheap price i.e around 0.65 USD and now its trading above 1.1 USD. It will rise but don't expect astronomical price rises. it is worth remembering that there is a huge supply and it has already pumped more than it ever should. Rise will be modest, and there will be more added to the supply when ripple release more into circulation. It is basically run as a centralised bank - they can do as they wish with the price

In my view, the current priority for the crypto market must be to find stability after this decline.

Yes, today Ripple is getting pumped, but if you look at the chart you can see that recently it has always made lower hights and lower lows, so I guess that the chances for it to make a new ATH now are not very big. It may need another period of consolidation. So this one would be just another bulltrap.

To back like December i think its impossible because the price reach 2 dollar until 3. Today ripple reach 50 % than yesterday but still in 1 dollar. It's going to rise more. Nobody can know if ripple is going to bounce anymore, each of us try to imagine what could be the future value of such crypto.
In my opinion december was marked by a huge presence of Bitcoin in many medias, and it brought lots of new investors in Bitcoin, Ether and Ripple. As most of them aren't from crypto community, they sold fast and it explains the (relative) current low value of BTC, ETH and XRP.

I think Ripple will be back on track. Just need some time to recover from all the negative attention, that was created around the last correction. Ripple is a good project, in my opinion, and has a good future.

Of course, If the King of crypto rises then the coin of followers will follow to ride as well. No one can be sure but grow a sense of trust in yourself. Be patient to wait until the market price matches what you want.

I do not think that in the near future we will see such a surge. RPL is somehow traded with BTC-RPL pair. Thus, if the dynamics of BTC are positive, we will see something similar for Ripple.

If that so then I am of the lucky guys who did invest in Ripple last year when the price value is as low as $0.25 and as a holder - it's indeed a good news for me because my intention for investing Ripple last year is only for Long-term and my plan is to sell it after 2-3 years.

Precisely yes. I read an article last January 2018 about XRP to tie up with Money gram. I guess this movement would established big impact to investors  since XRP remains the most efficient digital asset for payments with transaction fees at just fractions of a penny compared to btc is about much higher.

what makes Ripple different from the other currencies is the fact that it is supported by some of the banks and the Wall-street giants. In short, it is just the opposite of what Satoshi Nakamoto created in the form of Bitcoin. But even with this much support, I am quite skeptical about its future. It has failed to gain users and its market cap (even now) looks inflated.

The Ripple may rise again but not so high it was before. Too much of people turned over that platform nowadays and it doesn't meet enough support.

At it's core XRP is a pump and dump coin, it will rise again at some stage. But it will fall again, because during the downturns at it's core at this stage XRP has no value in the ripple system. Ripple will be a great payment system, XRP doesn't fit into that.

I think cryptocurrency take away a critical situation now. all cryptocurrency before few months ago pumping their fiat price. now all of cryptocurrency falling their price about less then half ripple also follow this, but I think after cross this critical situation ripple gain it's fiat value again.

if this is true and if it is true XRP has started working with some companies hope this can be a trigger of XRP price increase and improve their image which if not wrong get a bad image.

It is really hard to count this deal as significant. The only type of "significant" deal that can really affect the price is a bank/payment system will start using xrp. But so far it seems that ripple labs are not even close to that. I think that the time just hasn't come for mass adoption of crypto by banks. At some point of time crypto will enter the banking system. it's hard to predict what coin will do it. I personally think that ripple is closer to this achivement than other coins, but it doesn't mean that it will be ripple. In the world of crypto things change fast.

Ripple Network being used (which benefits the company) does not automatically mean that the XRP token is being adopted though sadly.
Most banks/companies opted to not use the XRP coin when they sign up to use the Ripple Network.

But I think it will rise and my predictions based on reading, analyzing the graph and basically speculating are that Ripple will hit and pass the $5 mark in 2018.

i think it will rise in this year, since so many bank is going to adapt XRP. i believe it will touch $10 this year, maybe end of the year. Although there are so many FUD, and people saying it's not decentralised. But i think it will rise.

Yep. XRP is a good coin, it has very good potential although price of XRP at the moment is really low. Few recent weeks, price of XRP dumped a lot just because of the downtrend and XRP is not the only cryptocurrency that dumped. At the moment when the whole market is increasing back of course XRP is not an exception, XRP price is also increasing back as well.

In my opinion ripple is good tech for banks, but that is not very likely to drive up the price of XRP in this period.

Actually i don’t like the idea behind the ripple but that doesn’t mean it will not rise again. The down trend is finally over for most of the coins and ripple is one of them. Ripple will rise soon and return to where it was 2 months ago.

Although many don't want to recognize it, Ripple has way more growth potential than bitcoin or ethereum due to its uses and versatilities. Take for instance that some conglomerate in Dubai started taking Ripple as a mean of payment.

This is my personal opinion.. XRP is currently artificial and its value is driven by Ripple Lab news.. and Ripple lab does not put any onus on its client like UAE exchange to use the XRP token. So that begs the question what is the real value of XRP??  The people who dont understand thr structural set up of Ripple will still continue to buy and drive the price up.. until one day in the future when the whole world realises that none of these bank or exchanges or very limited number of them will ever use XRP..

You do not know that they are doing much struggle for their coin to be acceptable worldwide and are doing their agreements with much bigger companies and are convincing them to accept ripple in their businesses so if these companies will accept bitcoin and will announce on their platforms then the price of bitcoin will increase much higher. Let me get this straight, I don't think that ripple will be a very good investment this year or in the coming years since it has already been an abandoned coin. It is not a good investment, though it is third in the market it's not a good coin to support right now specially without a team to maintain it.

XRP's holders wants us to be fooled by this new FUD which is the western union testing of XRP,which is still considered as a FUD because there still no confirmation from the Western Union,its like the previous XRP FUD which resulted a bull run but suddenly coinbase annoucned that there will be no new coins to be listed,these people are just hyping their centralized coin because it seems that there are no price improvements from the past few months,do not be fooled by these FUDs.

I have not for once believed in ripple and I believe the current value or December rise is due to their really strong marketing and also the spike in the total coinmarket value.

Ripple will not fully reach its potential until the banks accept it, but so far the BIG banks have been against cryptocurrencies and many like JP Morgan have spoken against cryptocurrencies in the media.
