I have invested in Litecoin and I hope you do too, price is expected to rise rapidly by next week for Litecoin.

Theoretically the price of litecoins is declining from a few weeks ago. market conditions are not supporting litecoin price movements, but the volume of litecoin transactions can be said to be quite small compared to other popular altcoins like Etherum. Must have enough courage and also be ready to take risks if you decide to invest in litecoin, if all goes well then you will benefit, but if not then you will incur losses. All the results you get in accordance with what you do.

The entire cryptocurrency market is in a downward trend.
I will not invest in litecoin. It's not a good choice. Unless you know the inside information that there will be  a big lift next week. Otherwise, I don't think I will invest in litecoin.

IMO, if it is the whole market moving down together, I would actually invest LTC (+ a couple of other promising altcoins too).

Altcoins tends to dip a lot more severely vs BTC, and once they rebound, they would give a much greater %gain too.
But it is risky, and you need to do your own research as to which altcoins are solid-projects that actually has a future.

Litecoin has a future as, First, Litecoin has a lifetime cap of 84 million coins, which is four times higher than the total number of Bitcoins that can be mined.
This means that as demand increases, there will be a larger supply of Litecoins to meet it, at least initially.

Yeah, I am planning on making a big investment in Litecoin, but in recent days I have checked out Dash (which I don't own ATM) and I'm a bit skeptical that Litecoin would be much better :( However I believe Atomic Swaps will make both BTC and (especially) LTC surge

Litecoin was created by Charlie Lee not long after Bitcoin came into existence. It was supposed to be the silver to Bitcoin’s gold. It’s a peer to peer decentralized crypto, meaning it’s supposed to be used for all transactions like buying food at a cafe or paying your bills.
Litecoin’s greatest feature is perhaps their lightning network and atomic swap which made transactions a lot faster. You don’t need to wait for confirmations unlike Bitcoin which is rather slow.

Litecoin still looks like a good investment option, but lately bitcoin has been on a downward trend, and I think I'll be waiting for a while and then I'm buying Litecoin, because I'm still bullish on the Litecoin.

Litecoin is a good investment choice, it was undervalued all these years but finally charlie was able to bring it back to life to some extent. There were many major partnership that took place last week but becauae of the bearish movement the price didn't get affected. I would suggest hold litecoin till end of this year you can get a good return

if you bought Litecoin in the recent big dip then you have made a very good investment with low risk. if you just bought it after the dip, it is still a good investment but you are taking a little more risk because it may take a longer time before a big pump comes to litecoin.
for now i see other altcoins are getting pumped, mostly the smaller ones with smaller price are getting pumped big time. there will be a market wide pump in a couple of months though and LTC will be one of the coins that will get a good pump then at the very least.

market is in a downward trend so I did not invest in crypto currency right now because of this situation. What I'm doing now is just watching the bitcoin moves because of bitcoin I base on what I do. Yes its a good coin many new developments are coming in this coin and I am holding this coin from a very long time when it was very low in price and I am increasing my portfolio by buying more and more and I am sure it will go high in price and give me good amount of profit in the coming times.

I would always support the litecoin and value will be bumped more than expected value in this year. Last year end we have find the most of the time bump in the market and if the value turns to 5 USD and more in the market. LTC CEO will be next to Zuckerberg in the richest person list.
So better to invest on the cheap altcoins or potential coins such as litecoin, ethereum and bitcoin will be a good choice for new investors.

We will see what will be happening to the litecoin after implement lightning network. But i think that it will be the same as segwit. The litecoin becomes the test place before the scalability improvement to be implemented into the bitcoin as the real coin. Litecoin act just like a test coin to the bitcoin itself. Segwit doesn't give a lot of differences.

it's hard to say something is expected to grow or fall. Truth is nobody can know that. But litecoin is the currency that tends to copy btc fully. So if btc will grow, ltc should too. I believe btc can grown tremendously tihs year.

I'm not sure that the growth will be so fast. All the same, the world still could not recover from this fall. Because even the fall in 2017 is not noticeable on the chart compared with the fall this year. I think this is the biggest shock for the whole time in the world of crypto currency

The whole market is on a downtrend. I would invest in LTC because in downtrends it seems the higher market cap coins fall much less than the smaller alts. There are a lot of promising coins though so I don't see it being worthwhile compared to some of the other alts. That being said LTC basically follows BTC imo, and if you think its gonna be a good year for BTC you might as well invest.

Now, the coin prices are quite low and there is a good time to buy. Today, I found that the internet shop where I buy has introduced a payment not only BTC, but also in the LTC. So a good idea to buy LTC.

Well litecoin has potential to rise more but it doesn't have the demand like etheruem or bitcoins and it's growth is very slow compared to etheruem.Litecoins price has been even stagnant for a while before pumping.It is still in top 10 altcoins so investing in litecoin might be profitable but investing in Ethereum or bitcoins would be better optiom IMO.

I think the black market is the reason why it is going to rise, I read some article and people on the dark web are going to make the LTC become the new king of crypto it was said that LTC was the darkhorse for this year, I hope it will not going to happen because I invest too much in bitcoin. I think it's a good idea to invest in Litecoin. Litecoin has been around for a long time. It’s one of the first Altcoins in existence. Litecoin has the second most secure blockchain, next to Bitcoin. It’s almost identical to Bitcoin. So any trust and adoption rate of Bitcoin should bleed over to Litecoin.

Obviously these investments have risks and it's no good saying that this was a guaranteed profit or anything. It could have been the opposite way around, and you could have taken a loss if you didn't handle it right.

I've seen a lot of people panic sell their LTC at below $150, which I think is pretty dumb since it was going downhill fast and it was evident that it wouldn't be sustained over a long period of time. A recovery like this one would have came sooner or later.

After i saw this pattern after crash if we can break $14k bitcoin price. Probably we will see bitcoin at new all time high which is above $20k and at that time litecoin will be worth more then $400 in my opinion. Lite coin is one of the strongest altcoin. I don't think Litecoin will have a significant price increase this year, although daily volume trading was pretty high and stable but the progress of price fluctuations in the market is still slow. We can see how Monero experienced rapid growth, as well as Neo, and other coins. So for me if for a long invest plan, Litecoin is not the right choice, but for short plan or daily trading, this can give you an advantage.

I would stay away from it because its centralised af by China minners and they should rename it in offical China pump^dump coin,not to mention main dev who had moral problems with his litecoin bag so he sold it at over 300$ but it was totaly fine when it was 50$.If you want to risk it i sugest wait a bit more and buy it before the halving(next year jun-july if i recall well)

While litecoin is a good coin I do not see why people thought it was a promising coin since litecoin is very similar to bitcoin, if we still had not activated segwit then you may have a point since litecoin will have better technology but since bitcoin had done that and we are in the process of activating the lightning network then the chances of bitcoin facing stagnation and being left behind by litecoin are very low.

Given litecoin's history, I'd say it's a good investment for the long-term. But if you ask me if i'd be investing in Litecoin now then I'll err on the side of caution. It may be a good idea to wait for an even better price considering it's price falls in the past. if history is any indication, you could get a really good deal with a little patience.

i am all for the short term profit taking when it comes to altcoins but i am not so sure about "ping pong" strategy. it just looks terrible to me! based on what i have seen from this strategy it looks more like a gamble rather than being an actual trading strategy. not to mention that if price suddenly moves in one direction (opposite of you) you will lose money.
