Title: Back at RED :(
Post by: macchiato on February 11, 2018, 06:45:09 AM
Coins are dumping again. I know that we won't really know when will things go back to normal. I am still holding my coins and hoping that it will recover after this awful dip. I just want to know who else here are holding? Do any of you got tired of waiting and did a panic sell? I know some people who sold their coins at a lower price before. I held into my principles and kept waiting but it seems like things aren't going smooth. Any thoughts about this? Please respect my post. Thanks!

From what i see thing not work like it use to be, i mean buy and hold isnt a right choice. The most profitable way to do trading right now is fast trade, like buy now sell tomorrow. Take a look at the chart, the green not long than two days, and red again three days. So just take advantages from it youll be fine. Dont buy high and sell low, you only gave your money to all those whale who manipulate the market price.

I also hold a lot of coin, and most of my current money is in BTC,BCH,ETH.
Although encryption is currently in the money market bear market, but I still feel good, because I believe they are still in the future there will be a sharp rise, we need to do is wait. The recent market is not good, I pay little attention to the fluctuation of short-term price, this can make people feel uneasy.

Im holding since April, cheer up, everything will be alright. Reading the news I see that in general the dynamic is positive and approximately this spring, new inflow of fiat will begin into the cryptocurrency. Just hold and don't sell with losses.

it is true that the market is red again.
but it is not means that the market will never back to green again.
i am sure that the market on the march is going back to green.

I performed a technical analysis of the Etherium market and it unfortunately shows that we are waiting for a further drop and by July the price will be around 800$ + -50$
Now we are waiting for the fall to$550. I sold all Etheriums and Bitcoins.

No progress with bitcoin prices, will not there be 20k $? But I am still patient

we must have known that the coin game in this crypto is a long-term system, and we have to be patient when the price is down, hold his coin, so that later coin is valuable

Being patient means: to be really patient for a long time, and not for a few bear/bull cycles.

Believe me, "things aren't going smooth" is a sign of panic, and panic doesn't end well. Be cool.

Guys do not panic, everything will be fine! Wait a couple of months or maybe half a year, but everything will come back again and will grow further, you'll see. Forget about crypt for a while, stop updating your portfolio every ten minutes and panic when the market sags by 50 percent) Buy popcorn and enjoy what you are in this market, in this new future)

Well, whoever holds also takes risks and does not understand when this may end. They adhere to the opinion of optism, but here it really is worthwhile thinking I will ponder and understand whether this is a complete crisis and whether there will be a complete zeroing of the market. And perhaps the best tactic is selling.

I mostly HODL. I'm sure that crypto should raise anyway and I don't need money to live right now (and in a few months as well), so I just keep all my crypto. Of course I can flip from one coin to another time by time when I anticipate some positive news. But still I see myself a hodler :)

Just keep holding that coin, it won't benefit you if you sell it now. Just be reminded that if the value is low, just keep and held it until it back to normal. Patience is the great skill we need in thus crypto world.

For me it's a normal situation as we all know that the price will depends on the supply and demand. We can't predict those big investors how they do there tradings or when they sell there coins. We can only hold and wait the right time so we can be profitable. Patient and don't get panic, sooner we can reach the price that we want.

Be patient, be patient, and be patient.
Every day when I saw the cryptocurrency market is always red, and I always want to sell them but stayed profitable, and this let me lost a lot of money in the past, so I think, now want to do is to forget the encryption to buy bitcoin, wait until may at once.

Crypto is just starting, if you want to mess up with your portfolio it was fine, but I bet the first thing in your mind when you enter here is you think/believe that this could be the future. Don't let yourself ruin your future. There's so much ahead of us. Be a man to endure the problems than to be a boy who quit when it hurts so bad.

Holding would be the best thing to do when another dip has come to our market,do not panic as we all know bitcoin is trying to break the resistance at $9.5k that is why bitcoin's price is unpredictable right now, most of the users wants to push the trigger up,stay calm most of the time because everything will be fine.

Yes, again all the coins back to red. I am expecting few more correction, once the bulls pump in the market then again green will start in the market. But this time definitely bulls will show their power on bears.

From the technical analysis point of view, we should expect further price reduction and yesterday's growth was only a correction for the bearish trend. But it is just technical analysis.

True, the price on the kryptocurency market is currently experiencing a very clear decline, perhaps because it is caused by a thing or news that impacts the altcoin price on the crypto market.

that is why i was warning everyone not to fall for the temporary green they are seeing. most of these greens were simple recoveries from the large dump that had happened before it and they were dead cat bounces. some altcoins started their pumps from that dip and recovery but these particular ones are the exceptions and exceptions don't make the rules.

the rules are, when altcoins are pumped they will be dumped and these dumps will be speed up by events like bitcoin drop. and after the initial dump there is a recovery which is also known as "bull traps" before the dump continues.

not all the time always green in the market it will go back at the red, after that it will green back again its normal routine in the market, just keep holding until bitcoin pass $10,000 slowly reaching to $20,000 so that our altcoin that we hold will increase.

This is crypto market. things will never go back to normal. we should learn to earn when it is red and when it is green. Stop losses usually are good option when the market is green and about to turn back to red.

Sold everything 2 weeks ago, didn't buy into latest dip thinking this isn't over yet, despite itchy buy finger.
Im hoping to increase my coinfolio 2-3x.When btc closes in on 6200 again I will start buying and I'm thinking it might go as low as 4800-5400.

If we start hitting those levels and the fact that its a repeating drop would cause many alt holders to panic and really dump. I will be waiting with fresh fiat.

I would advise people to stick with larger coins/tokens, a btc will always be a btc but a trx will be 0 if the global economy starts turning.

If you sell your coins now is a means to consolidate their losses. I will wait for the cryptocurrency to rise again in price. The main thing is not to panic. The price of a currency is always unstable. They will definitely go up.

Everyone here is being tested, it is impossible to tell what is happening to the market if it will go up or down tomorrow. Best option is just to close down and go on holiday for a while. In a couple of months everything will be back to normal and you will not have notice the dip except from reading about it in the news. Then again, if you don't trade, you will miss out on all the low prices

I did think it was far too soon when people were saying it was over yesterday. Just got to remember everybody, this is a market that swings, both ways up and down. The pattern so far has been bigger swings down with slow recoveries up, but the good news is that Bitcoin is still successfully staying above 8k for 2 or 3 days now. This is also the weekend, so let us see what happens tomorrow.

What do you want? the market is volatile and it could rise and fall in just few hours.People needs to understand the risk of a volatile market it will always have corrections but it will eventually recover from any crash. This is a common day for all of us and you need to adopt in how the market flows so you wont be panic selling when the market is crashing.

boredom waiting for the price rise is a natural thing, but we should not sell at low prices because it will make us lose. so be patient and hold is a good key and will definitely get a profit.

Red isnt something to frown about, if you've been playing your cards right you should be riding the waves. This is great opportunity. Dont be greedy if you are trading (and not long term hodling) just sell at profit and buy on red.

I think this is just a small dumped of coins as we can see the market, it's just a liitle bit decreased. If you are making a decision to sell your coins now then you will regret it because after the decreased of coins it will rise again for sure. Crypto will not be dead for that situation. After the chinese new year, many investors will be back and this is the time the market will be bullish. The price of the market will be double or triple. So stop thinking for the FUDs, just keep calm and hold your coin for your better future if you want to. If you don't then it's your choice to start it over again when the times come the crypto will be on fire.

If you are a HODLer, just avoid looking at the market for awhile and come back at a later date.

The day2day, week2week, or even month2month fluctuations doesn't mean anything. If you see a big news of cryptos crashing, then come in and buy. If you see a big news of a major rally in crypto prices, then come in and sell off abit (especially to pull out your initial capital) to lock in your gains; and diversify the profits into other promising altcoins if you fancy, or just leave it as it is to grow further into the future over a few years time.

It is so sorrowful that we get back to red again too long. One more thing is I heard that there will be fork again until the end of February, so let us expect that the red on crypto will remain until the end of fork. Lets just hope that after the fork it will be the break thru for cryptos again and will really boom so big. No worries crypto will not fail us, just be patient.

We do not have control on how will the market flows, but we need to know that this market has high volatility which means it can rise and fall in just few hours and when you are trapped with some coins you are into the best thing to do is to HOLD until the market has recovered, because panic selling wont do any good to market but it will only worsen the situation, you will only lose at the end ,weak hands will always fall while holders will always prevail. We need to know how the market works so we can easily adopt in any situation we are in.

This is just another correction because we have recovered from the worst bloodbath we have ever experience last week. The total marketcap is stil lat 400B levels which means most of the investors money are still in the market, probably some of these big players are cashing out for the valentines day. They need to have some cash that is why the market has moving a little bit downwards, but in general the market trend seems to be bullish.

There are some speculations but as you can see they are speculations. Never move with rumours.
Some say it's because in weekends there is no banking action so people in crypto don't sell their coins after Friday night.

Do not worry, mate. Everything's gonna be fine in a few days from now. We are having some bloody charts today but if you notice, the dip is almost over. Bitcoin has already got back beyond $8,000. In fact it has already climbed to $8,300 ++. This day might even end up with Bitcoin crossing back to $9,000. that is not true all the time about everything. it is only true about some things that will go up eventually not those that used to be high and now are dropping.

and right now the altcoins you see dropping hardest are those which you must stay away from because these are the biggest bubbles that are bursting. buying of these coins should only happen in case there is a pump which is not going to be for months.

Keep calm, trade if you want to but otherwise hold. Don't panic sell.
We are still in the dip that has been going on for about a month. The green and then red over the last couple of days don't mean much, they are an inconsequential part of the larger picture.
When are we coming out of it? The big test for me is whether the market drops below $300 billion again. If we stay above that and establish some stability, then the stage is set for another bull market. It may be some way off, or it may not. Just don't let normal daily price fluctuations affect your judgement.

Same here trying to hold weeks and quite tired and I'm just  decide to sell it even i should take a capital loss and trying to buy again in lower price than i sell. Wish it will rise again and could cover my loss. Crypto currency is very volatile in nature. She can not stay in one place for a long time in her price. This fall was very long in time and therefore this period of low prices should soon end. The maximum period of a good rise of the crypto currency will begin in early March, when the New Year holidays in China, that is, on February 16, will end. Therefore now it is necessary either to trade on the exchange in short-term auctions, or, in the absence of proper experience, simply to keep their coins until they start to grow decently in value. However, clearly selling now a low price, it will be at a loss.

Nothing we can do about it. If it dumps, it dumps. Take a break from trading and relax. You can still scalp the market if you want because there are still small pumps here and there. Or just hold, that can be a good thing to do as well.

Talking of chart price, if you look back the history of crypto currencies last few years i think it is traditional with crypto currencies that these months January and February will be dropping but not on this too much dipping on the market. Compared for how many years had pass the price movement of crypto's has repeatedly every year and it is bouncing back again last quarter of the year like November to December. However we should be calm and having a patience is a must in investing in crypto. Safer in holding long term than trading selling high a low strategy of trading.

There were many people expressing their thoughts here saying that it will dip again and unfortunately it happened. The recommendation is still same: hodl! If you have unused ether or btc you can chose and buy some coins which you think will give you the profit. This kind of behaviour of market is nothing new, happens from time to time

Altcoins trading is bad nowadays. I prefer we focused on the Bitcoin trade. If we have a position in the altcoins then we must give a lot of attention to it. Currently, BItcoin could make a big move in a second, and it will greatly affect the market price.

That's why people keep saying that crypto currency market is an unpredictable one. People actually can't predict what is gonna happens and i think sometimes it happens the opposite way with the analysis of experts . I'm in quite a few positions right now that I must HODL to get through! I always look at it like, you haven't taken a loss unless you sold! I think HODL is one if the most proven strategies! But these huge dips that we've taken recently have put my coins at such a low value that now I feel like I'm going to have to HODL forever! But I will hang in there without a doubt! HODL is a must! Yep, it's back at red (and that's my favorite color), and I have no damn problem about that. It's what we call FUD sale, and the whales are playing the minds of the newbies and inexperienced traders to dump as well for them to buy at their targeted low price.

It dumped briefly to $7,900 before soaring back to $8,300+. I think within this week, there will be a dip as Chinese New Year comes before a huge bull rally in a week or more from now.

Thanks!

It's happening because traders and some weak hands start selling their coins immediately when they see a 10-15% rise. I don't blame traders, they make money this way, but imo holders shouldn't do that because they will surely regret it in the future.

Don't worry, OP, the recovering has started already. You will see all in green in a couple of hours. I'm not saying it will go up and up from now on, because the full recovering will take months, but at least we are not going further down.

Hold your altcoins firmly, but only if they are good ones. Do your research. You will hardly profit from holding some sh*tcoins.

Its not surprising that there would be holders and there would be panic sellers which is a common thing here on cryptoworld when it comes to investment or on making money. Going back in reds is common since we do know this market is too volatile and anytime it can pump or even dump. If we can able to make short tradings we can really make money on these waves but doing this would really be hard this is why most people do really just simply hold it for long term purpose.

Yes, we are back in the red; a deeper hue of red than we have ever seen. However, I would not be worried so much. This dip happens every year like clockwork. A lot of people who are new and chased the rise at the end of 2017 are panick selling, but they will regret it once spring rolls around. HODL and prosper!!

Of course you have to wait, it's obvious. The fall will not be long, but the coins will rise clearly faster, selling coins at such low prices is not profitable.

It's OK, that's part of the game because we all know that Cryptocurrency Market is volatile and our Crypto Assets are just the numbers. Even the wallets that we're holding are digital and they're all on the internet.
The Crypto Market is always dumping and pumping because investors and traders are getting their profits every other day and if you notice that Crypto Market is just the same with the past years, there's always going up and going down and what's happening now is just a part of the Crypto Market Momentum.
In behalf of the holders, soon it will be our turn to claim our rewards and turn all our Crypto Assets into Cash and we could then Buy the things we love to possess and we then can go to the places that we wish to be.

I agree, panic selling will cause losing your Crypto Assets.
The Crypto Market history is showing and proving it's volatility but if you just Hold your coins and wait for the right timing, the Market will then recovers and someday you'll be getting your profits this time.
Crypto Market keeps going up and down because investors are indeed getting their profits every other day and we as holders we'll just wait until the market recovers and then when our Crypto Assets already hit our expected targets then it's up to us if we're still going to hold or turn them into money.
Just relax and have a coffee. Watch the market and your Crypto Assets will grow.

The market is falling back after 2 days of growth but it is stabilizing at its value and is waiting for bitcoin fluctuations to rise or fall. I believe that bitcoin can be reduced to $ 4k5 - $ 5k that will be the area where altcoin can grow very strong in the future.

But in Crypto you should HODL, Day trading is very risky. If you want day trading this is your time to trade. I'm very passionate with my holdings and i keep them safe in my altcoin wallets. Trust me! HODLERS gonna win!

you must have a target before you buy coins and sell them if the price of the coins you have on your target does not hurt you to sell your coins. if the coins you have do not fit your target it is better to hold the coin until the state stabilizes again. do not take too much risk in the crypto world because it will be very dangerous for your finances.

In the world of crypto price up and down is normal so no worries. No coins are always green even it is the most promising coins. If your really believed to your coin hold it but always do your research also becaise a lot of Shitcoin after the price rise they will dump all there coins until price coin become under valued.

I think, this is a good chance to buy more coins, red means buying more at a good price, and having more coins means having more income or profit. For me, every trader should be taking this as an opportunity that comes not everyday, so buying and holding is gonna be my first action, when I think that I have enough, then that is the time to wait and hold.

You need to get over the daily price checking dude. Of course they'll shift between red and green. If you just simply didn't look at the charts for the past month, you'd have seen a crash from 19k to 10k, not from 19k to 5k followed by huge FUD and sleepless nights. Posts like the one you're making are pointless.

Yes, it is in green now very lucky for those who bought when the price in red. And now they are in profit but best is to hold until bitcoin can fully back to normal price. Hold for the better profit in bitcoin.

We cann't dump just like that because that will affect the market greatly. I want to encourage all those who are holding to continue to hold for better days are coming where everyone will smile.

Those person who buy bitcoin at the price of 6$ are very lucky they are now actually have profit and it will be more if they hold their bitcoin for long term.

I agree.

Its a frustrating time for all us.

There are better days coming. Just think about the future. Everyone selling will regret it. Lets stick together on this one and hold out. Don't give in and sell folks. I am here for you if you have any questions.

Thanks!

I think you should consider it before you actually buy altcoin. what plan you will take, and if this decrease occurs. is not it normal in a trade.
you must have confidence before buying, so you can survive in a position like this last lately. why, because you will be well aware what is part of the risk.
I personally, bought altcoin that I have learned. then I keep as long as possible in accordance with what I have planned. so if there is a decline like this I am ready. because my target is not in this month, but years ahead

Agreed. If you invest long term, then why are you constantly checking the price? Just stop, relax, forget about it for some time. The market will heal itself, I'm sure.

keep holding or you wanna get a lower price and lost your cost.
i forbid my self to sell in the lower price.
just keep patient because when we are panic on selling.
it means lost at trading.
many people are worried when the price is falling down. it used to happen.

There is nothing for us to panic. We all know that the value of the cryptocurrency or the coins we have will be rising soon. And luckily, Chinese New Year has passed. I think Chinese investors will start investing again for good. Hold your coins while you can and don't panic and sell those investment of yours. You just have to wait for a couple of months as you have to take a risk since you've entered the waiting game and see after a couple of months it will increase again.

I think we left behind the red. The greenery has begun again and I hope it will stay that way for a long time. My investments need not be rubbish anymore. :S

I think the red day has passed, and now almost every coin of the market is green and recovered again, hopefully this continues until the coin prices recover as before prices fall

If you have made to HODL your crypto assets until the storm is over, then it'll be a fair weather for you today. Moreover, if you have bought the dip of every altcoins you wanted to have, then that's a very good decision you can make. As we can see, the cryptocurrencies are back in normal (GREEN) now.

Ups and down of cryptos value is normal. But in the end of the day the value of cryptos or coin are recover to their price value. The important thing to do right now is avoid panic when the value of coin is going crazy or dumping. The best way to do when the value of any coin is calm down and wait the proper time until the value of cryptos are recovered to their original price or much higher. As of to day most of the value of coins now are back to the green color and the blood scenario is over. For me the chance to recover the value of all coin now is higher.
