You are right in saying stocks.exchange is not at the top of the list for exchanges. However that being said it is a great start for a young coin. I have traded many different types of coins on there and always got paid what i requested. The volumes are lower than some of the bigger exchanges but you have to start somewhere. Let the coin move to the exchange. We can only go up from here...right!?!

Not all of us are forking over money. I can see the concern but at this point i am only wasting a bit of electricity if this is really a scam coin. To each his own but I think you have made the point very clear and should now let people decide for themselves what they want to do. I never put cash in a coin. Lol I hate to break it to all the rainbows and sunshine’s but I’m here to inform you that your happy days are coming to an end... this is my I told you so post!  So ABS hit MNO and at the same time you start watching the dev premine break off into different wallets.  The coin is moving up in price and things are looking good.... but eventually the prices get too good and the dev drops in to start selling those premine coins.  He sure made it a headache but if you trace long enough you can eventually see thousands of coins in subsets that he made go into a bunch or rounds of hiding coins.  Why? Good question I mean he does realize that no one would care to try to trace that because we don’t need too.... there’s only one reason he would be doing that anyhow... that’s the reason the exchanges went from over $2 to $1.5 almost instantly and quickly to $1.00.  Scam boy didn’t realize somehow that pumping the market with pre-mined coins when he already made a coin that makes 1200 of its self hourly and only needs 1000 coins for a MN would be a bad ideal.  The coin would of had enough trouble on its own lasting 4 weeks until MN rewards where maxed and ROI was dried up.  Almost 30,000 coins a day meant the market needed to find 30 MN buyers a day... the price will only drop from here.  Between the dev dropping pre-mined coins and the ROI drying up with 5 days until an increase.  Prices will be at a $0.25 each again very soon and the dev will disappear forever knowing he’s got no chance of ever unloading 450,000 more coins of a dead coin.  If your smart you sell quick! If you think anything good is coming when the coin dropped to below $1.00 less than 48 hours of being listed on MNO then your dreaming.  Every 15 coins you wait 6 hours for to sell for $.90 means your 1000 coins are gonna drop by a nickel each.  You sell your 15 coins for $13.50 and your 1000 coins lose 1000 * $0.05 = $50 in value, that’s not a winning formula

If you can see developer added some bounties for retwitting info post. For now it has about 300 retwitts in avarage with 300 followers for each user: 300x300=90000x2/100=1800 ABS coins twise a week ~= 15000 ABS for bounties per mounth and this only after 1 day of posting. From what wallet this bounties coud be given if not from premine wallet? Also now almost all coins in red color on coinmarketcap which coud not will lead growing price for new altcoins like this. After 4 days rewards for masternodes will grow up to 19 ABS per payment and when coin will be listed on coinmarketcap with cap more than 1m $ its get into top 1k coins which will lead to growing price for it. I think curent underprising best chanse to get in if you missed that chanse or want to start more MN or another pump\dump earnings. So dont play havoc on one of the information sources about the coin because at this stage, such accusations will greatly shake the price and nerves of wallet owners =) Peace!

Your reply is absolutely useless talking about coins that will be spent on a bounty a month from now, that does not change the facts that the coins where spent.  I’m not gonna explain to you the whole thing.  Go freaking trace the addresses that stem from the original one yourself to see all the coins spent in exchanges.  Yeah you want to keep a false reality appearance because you likely would lose money if you sold now but that’s your issue.  It’s funny that you think the reward for bounties going up by 3 in 5 days is gonna change a thing.  Sales are already dried up.  Your creating 30,000 new coins a day.  So that’s 150,000 coins that people are gonna try to sell at any price.  The coin has no actual developer and no purpose, it has nothing.  It can’t sustain itself on the illusion of making money with a MN because prices are dropping and no one is going to invest in a coin that has no developer.  That’s why besides the premine almost every coin is in a MN.  Let’s pretend the illusion holds up.. ok so 30,000 new coins a day is 30 new MN a day that means 3 weeks from now your looking at 600 more Masternodes.  So the reward will be then capped at 24 coins per block.  So 24 coin reward * 40 rewards an hour * 24 hours = 23,040 coins a day from MN / 800 MN = 28.8 coins per day per MN.  Which is a 33 day ROI.  4 weeks after that your looking at 1600 MN and 14.4 coins per day... and coin dies anyhow, but you’ll never find near that many people to buy a MN for a scam coin.

Here’s the math that really matters.  When I posted this inevitable collapse like 6 hours ago, their was 5000 coins with bid prices slightly over a dollar.  Now 6 hours later your coins are down to $0.55 a drop of $0.50 in 6 hours.  If you sold your MN at the dollar I suggested you would have $1000 but instead now you could get at best $550 from your 1000 coins.  You make 63 coins per day from your MN and dropping...  63 coins * $0.55 = $35.00 a day.  Which means you would need a miracle of the price stay at 55 cents for 13 days and for no one else to make a master node for you to make $450 so you could then sell your 1000 coins at $550 and get the $1000 you should of taken an hour ago.  Shall we do the math of what’s gonna happen in 6 hours from now when your coin is worth $0.25 each?  $250 for your 1000 coins and 63 coins * $0.25 = ~$16 so you would need a good 60 days of prices not dropping to get your $1000.  

It should be clear to anyone with a brain that things can only get worse by the minute.  Because all that math was generous fiction because as the price is dropping more and more cheap MNs are going up that drop your reward even more.  Ok I’m done.  I did my good deed far beyond a reasonable amount.  Anyone that was fortunate enough to read this that stays in now is only fooling them self.  

Anyone that can get out now with little to no lose that doesn’t is just asking for loses, although if your only in for $500 it’s not exactly a big loss anyhow so I can see the appeal of hoping to make a good chunk off of $500 but your chances are slim to none.  The dev is never around, never answer anything even when he is for 5 minutes a day.  Nothing has been updated, changed or anything ever in the blockchain and wallet, it’s all 100% copy paste of dash.  So ask yourself why u think this coin is worth a single satoshi?

Dear uneducated Cryptocurrency user.  You should have nothing to do with Cryptocurrency or anything to do with any investment ever!  If you think that an ascending price means that anything more than their is a huge number of people with no clue what they are doing and that do zero research just like you.  You not only can’t do your own due diligence but you can’t even see it when I provide the facts too you, so very sad... get a clue and figure it out.  It don’t take a rocket scientist to see that this coin is a scam!  The dev has been near non existent ever since he auctioned 60 Masternodes.  He shows up 5 mins a day in discord to try to maintain a presence to push price up so he can sell his premine also.  But it’s ok I’ll be back to laugh at anyone stupid enough to not take the time to research this “coin” and “dev” and waste their money even after someone took their time multiple times to warn you.  Lucking 9 of 10 people read my posts and run.  People like you are the reason scammers exist and the reason they can make the same scam over and over.  Maybe I should stop wasting my time and just make a scam coin myself.  I’ll even post on this account that my coin is clearly a scam and watch people like you defend my scam coin.  Yup sounds like a plan, if people are willing to get scammers money I might as well be the one that gets that money.  I so very much hope you stumble upon my coin in a few days.

Ok so what your saying is you mine crap cheap coins in hopes that they sky rocket.  Ok I can understand the logic in that.  I did that in 2013/2014 in the great alt coin boom and made a ton of money off those wallets in 2017 .  But the point is your mad at me because you don’t care they are scam coins you care that you can make money selling them from all the MN buyers that don’t realize their investing in a scam ponzu scheme that is gonna crash.  Oh well for you, go mine a legit coin that is low priced.  And yes this coin is a ponzu scheme.  Masternode increases 40 to 80% over 4 weeks in the attempt to boost the price over a month and then the dev wanted to unload his 500,000 coins at $5/coin and make a ton of money while leaving every other coin holder with noting because he killed the coin.  Just like a bunch of other scam MN coins that have come before.  You can look at the specs of a coin and tell with 95% certainty that it’s a scam when everything about its specs is aimed at rapidly increasing the coins value in the first few weeks/month.  There’s no logical legit purpose anyone would structure a real coin that way because once MN popularity peeks in 4 weeks your coin is gonna crash and that gives a negative impression of your coin.  So anyone with a legit purpose would never aim to artificially pump their coin for a month, they would want stead slow growth that signals to real investors to research the coin and see why this coin is growing slowly while all others rise and fall.

Hi, after rebooting the masternode the payout ceased to come. Then I've changed the wallets and pc, but there is still no pay. The time of work is growing and it is knitting correctly. What is the problem?

Read your post on Absolute coin Ann. Might I say you are the shit, keep exposing the scam coins because there’s too many good coins for people to be dumping their money in bs coins. I understand most don’t want to put in work and expect to get rich overnight but there are a lot of honest people who want to invest but lack time to do real research getting burned left and right and crooked devs going from scam to scam. I really commend you for exposing the scams because the shit has to stop in order for crypto to really takeover and be taken seriously....

You can not do that! you can used one local wallet to manage all VPS run masternode! But only one IP for one Masternode

It need time before first masternode rewards paid after rebooting your masternode. Required amount of time will be almost the same as of your first time operating your masternode

It is funny to see all the trash talk of this coin but then to also consider the buy/sell lineup on the exchange and the 24-hour price history.  There are plenty of buys lined up in the neigbborhood of 1000 coins indicating people wanting to BUY MASTERNODES.  Meanwhile, there are smaller amounts in the sell column.

Pro-tip if you are selling:  don't give it away cheap.  Set your sell order some notches higher then other sell orders.  Those people wanting master nodes will cave in and buy your coins.

I have various doubts...

On the windows wallet, I had to transfer the coins in 2 steps. First I had to send 995 and then 5. At the time of modifying the masternode file, I have to put the ID of the transaction ... but I have two! Which one do I put? both? one after the other?

Masternodes rewards for each dropped because more masternodes locked in. That is very normal as basic rules of masternode-coin mechanisms.

I did the mining of ABS for a few weeks and put together about 100 coins. Is there any projection of it for the larger trading exchanges, such as Cryptopia or Coinexchange?

Afaik, Crypto-Bridge charges 3 BTC for Express, 1 BTC for non-express listings. No clue what the real difference between both is (timeframe?) but it's a step that coins, not only ABS should consider as my personal experience with Crypto-Bridge has been extremely good so far.

Well, now it has been weeks since we have heard ANYTHING from the developers.  Did they take the auction money and run?  It amounts to around $120K USD so... maybe!

What now?  Now we need to pay attention to timelines and set an agreeable timeframe to see tangible development efforts with this coin.  If we don't see anything in a reasonable period of time then we have to be realistic and responsible.

What is the responsible thing to do?  Well, if this coin is dead it shouldn't be listed on masternode ranking sites and it certainly shouldn't be listed on an exchange.  Maybe not really "what now" but maybe what comes in a week or two or whatever timeframe everyone agrees to.

Thanks for the instructions. I succeeded in creating a cold note. My VPS is successfully synced. But when I launched the masternode on a local wallet, after 17 hours I still see the watchdog_expired status. After restarting the wallet I see status enabled for a few minutes and then it changes to watchdog_expired. But in the "Last seen" column, the time is updated every 10 minutes.

Now I do not know if I have it properly set up and I can only wait for a reward.

Branding
Based on the conversation in the logo channel. We are going to stick with the currently logo which will be modified to be given it a more professional feel. We are currently reworking the interface in the windows wallet which will be issued when the new wallet goes live.

Rewards Structure
We are going to reorganise the reward structure and tier the masternode system. This may happen on the next wallet release or in the near future. We are stuck without a funding system for the coin, so we will be pushing this hard to allow us to do our job affectively.

Direction of the coin
We have thought up a good idea for the coin, so we will run this by everyone next week. Lots more to follow here..

Wallets
We have successfully compiled the new wallet and it is currently being tested on our testnet. We are planning to release this this as soon as possible with a number of modifications.

There are a few items that need to be addressed and tested before this can be released

- Branding, the new branding set is going to be released with the new wallet.
- Premine disablement, this needs to be double checked is working correctly but we have successfully blocked addresses within the testnet.
- We are testing governance at present, so we need a little more time here to see how viable the code is here. It will either be included in this release of the next one.
- DNS seeds are now in place and are ready when the new wallet goes live.

Explorer
We have two explorer servers now available after migrating to a new faster server set:

We will expand the features within explorer in the near future to include a masternode list and give further details on the masternode list reward ranking.

Branding

The landing page is going to be replaced next week! This is another step that will push us closer to relaunching the coin.

The collateral for masternodes vote is currently under way and is due to close on the 18-05-18, if you haven’t already please vote. #vote-for-victory

Masternodes
Version 12.2.2a still has a 1000 ABS collateral, the next version which we are planning on releasing in one months time will increase this collateral to 2500 ABS, this was based on an earlier community vote which was completed on the 18-05-18. This release will be a mandatory upgrade.

Governance
Governance is being activated today at block number 98800, we need to test that the system is working as expected. Once testing has been completed, the proposal system and further details on how to vote using the system will be released. Fridays will now be known as “Superblock Fridays”, as there will be a super block issued every Friday afternoon. The superblock cycle is every 7300 blocks

question regarding the 2500 $ABS masternode collateral change in a few hours: what happens with 1000 $abs masternodes? do they stop running? If I have one now or buy one now, do I have to buy another 1500 abs to keep it running?

Weekly announcement!

Wallets – Version 12.2.3a
The wallet version was released a week ago. The core network updated smoothly although it has taken some time to get all other nodes up to date and agreeing on consensus from the seed nodes. Now that we have majority adoption of V12.2.3a on the network, we will start the stabilize further.

We have currently testing wallets on Ubuntu 17.10 and 18.04, we will produce precompiled binaries and QT wallets for these soon.

Development will now stop on this code base and we will continue to develop the new mainnet, which release date will be within the next few months.

Sentinel
Please update to V1.2 if you haven’t done so already. Your Masternode will not go enabled with this version installed and configured correctly.

Currently the are 881 V12.2.3a Masternodes online at the time of me writing this announcement. Out of these 128 are having configuration issues, mainly with Sentinel.

We will produce a list for you to check which Masternodes need attention. We are pulling this information for our new explorer which I will talk about in a moment.

ABS BOT
We are increasing the bots functionality, it will soon be able to tell you if Sentinel is installed correctly and on what version. It will also be able to output all nodes on the network that are on old versions in one go, which means you can check that your nodes are all ok in one go.

Governance
Now that Sentinel has been updated by the majority, Governance will come online next week. We will be producing budget plans for the next 4 superblocks (1 Months), this will allow us to start a number of campaigns, marketing and help pay for ongoing costs that are require for the coin to operate.

Mining Pool
We still wish to setup a mining pool for Absolute, this is still ongoing but should be launched once this release has been fully adopted.

Language translations
We are looking to create language translations for all areas of the Wiki: https://github.com/absolute-community/absolute/wiki/

We currently have Spanish in development, but need other members to help with the rest. If you are interested, please contact @Development. We can get you added in to Governance rewards for you help.

Explorer
We have been developing a new explorer, it’s not finished yet but we are looking to lunch it within the next few weeks. Its explorer will be housed within the new Absolute Portal which will launch at the same time. Here is a teaser of the layout ( which is still in development):

Sentinel

Governance
We are currently testing Governance on the network, this will allow us to fund a number of areas of the coin, pay outs for this are on Mondays. So we will let you know more once this has been completed.

Mainnet Development
We have started development of the new mainnet, due to the complexities of this it is likely that a snapshot will be taken at a specific block number on the current chain. This would then be activated and started on the new mainnet for ABS to continue

Wallet release V12.2.4a is now available. This is a non mandatory update @everyone that will make your nodes more stable and remove the chance of ending up on a orphaned fork.

This minor release includes:
-Updates to minimum version protocol
-UI changes to the wallet
-GCC size reduction

You can upgrade your VPS node or wallet via Github or the wiki guides.

Mac wallet will be released in the next 24 hours, we are still working on this compile.

So it’s been two weeks since the last announcement, so apologies for a break from the normal routine. We have had lots going one elsewhere particularly on my part, so we should be back to service as normal going forward.

Wallets
So the latest V12.2.4a is now available, we would recommend that people use this version to improve stability although it is not mandatory. This release totally removes all older protocol nodes from the network. There were also some small GUI changes made to the wallet.

The next release will include a number of changes based on the outcome of two proposals:

C2 - https://bit.ly/2w4efuw  - Block Time Adjustment to 120 seconds?
C3 - https://bit.ly/2LkVZBN - Annual Reward Reduction to 50%?
Both of these proposals have passed and will be added into the next release.

Rewards and PoV Payments
Restricting supply via Proposals C2 and C3 brings us in line with our current plans regarding PoV. The standard rewards structure that will be implemented means that supply in year 10 will be just under 18,000 ABS per year and in year 15 will be just 561ABS per year. After 15 years the total ABS release will be 18.4MM ABS leaving over half of supply available for distribution via the PoV subsidised network.
One distribution method regarding the subsidy amount would be set against global advertising turnover and then adjusted based on PoV network performance against a projected target figure.

This means that as the PoV turnover increases this should start to offset the reward reductions on the Mainnet.

Chain Infrastructure
The Mainnet that ABS is currently running on will be adapted to suit the PoV integration, This could move certain areas of the code away from parts of the Dash core that is it currently built on.

The PoV chain in phase one will be built on a separate daemon which will running independently from the Mainnet wallet. The PoV chain will run off of a 10 second block time producing rapid transactions that can be payed via the PoV node interface with the Mainnet at scheduled times.

This chain is powered via POW CPU mining using quark or similar. We are currently using SHA256 but will adapt this to suit the appropriate node loadings. There will be no rewards from mining on this network.

Wallet Development
We will be moving away from the QT wallet UI that we currently have and base the UI on technology that Discord amongst others is actually built on. The first wallet will be node.js with an electron container. We might at a later stage more totally into a node.js wallet but this is undecided at present. This UI will give us the ability to improve the look and functionality of the wallet. The approach also makes it easier for us to implement the PoV contract interface into the wallet core.

Portal
We are currently setting up a new server which we will then migrate the current portal which is still in development on to. Once this is completed we could allow certain parts of the portal access to the wallet (if we can do it in a secure way) via the electron container. This will allow further details and information from the portal to be displayed in the wallet.

Governance
We would like to encourage @everyone to vote in a regular basis, budgets are an important part of ABS and if we can’t get funding then development, exchange funding and marketing stall. We currently have multi budget proposals in place. These can be viewed via the proposal channels on discord or https://gov.absolutecoin.net/governance.php

We will update the superblock spacing soon so that we can produce two budget per month rather than for. This will be added in to the core code in the next release.
Coin Market Cap
We recently requested listing on CMC, unfortunately we are still unable to list there. Most areas that they measure the ABS are very good but we need to improve volume before any further application is made.

Exchanges
We currently are looking at listing on Coinex as well as other such as Crex 24. As the budget is tight we are taking our time before deciding where to list. Yobit was another option but the customer service there is not something that we feel is suitable or aligned with our own values.

Week ahead
We have quite a lot of work to do on data fills and populating all the social account we have, I’m making this a priority so that we can push ABS to the next level and hopefully attract some new volume.

More work will be done on the PoV chain which is now been tested at a fundamental level. The UI is currently in development via electron, hopefully we can share something here when we feel is suitable.

Wallets – V12.2.5a
We are looking to improve a number of areas of ABS in this release. These include the Masternode list refresh/sync issues and possible changes to Sentinel listings within the status list. We are also improving RPC outputs and some simple bug fixes.

Work on PoV is ongoing but we are looking to get the basic interface sorted in the electron wallet so that it is ready for the start of the PoV chain.

Portal
The Portal server is now setup up ready for further configuration. This has been ongoing for a while now so we will try and get this finished soon.

Exchanges
Weighing up our options, based on what community members have been saying. I feel that listing on Crex24 would be a good idea in the short term to try and improve our volume. Coinex is also a possible listing but we will have wait and see if our application is accepted.

Without further listings it is in doubt if we can get on CMC, so this is a small step in the right direction.

We have until the end of the month to list at 0.2btc. Any objections should be made before the 25th before we proceed with this.

Social media
Our accounts need some more actively, we currently have team user slots available on Hootsuite. If anyone is interested in adding some actively to our accounts, please PM me if you are interested.

Coingecko
We have a solid rank in the low 400’s out of 2782 coins at the moment, we want to get this lower. Our GitHub activity is ok at the moment but we need more action on our social accounts to improve our rank. Doing the following will help us:

- Fork and star our ABS repo on Github
- Follow us on Twitter
- Follow us on Reddit
- Adding posts on the ABS Sub-Reddit
