I have created the first bitcoin faucet that uses the coinbase api. The coinbase api lets me instantly send a payout to a coinbase address instantly, and without fees! Anyways, the faucet pays out BTC0.00001  INSTANTLY every 30 minutes. This faucet is funded by advertisements and the community so please do not use ad-block. My name is Manthan, but you can call me nahtnam. I am a 13 year old developer who loves programming. Currently I am learining how to do stuff with the Coinbase and Blockchain api in php. I already know how to make sites using the twitter bootstrap framework and a lot of php... Feel free to PM me!

You will need a pretty good Knowledge of php and it is pretty time consuming! If you really want a faucet, I believe there is an open source script for inputs.io... I believe that it is called my faucet...

I've been using this and it is totally legit, thanks!  The only trouble I have is returning, something gets messed up and basically have to close out browser or else I get an error message.  Thanks!

I am very sorry about that... It's not my code, but my hosting provider... They are blocking some of the captcha's request which messes up everything... It works just fine on my computer... I will be getting a vps soon! Also thanks for the kind words...

Thats cuz I havent made it yet... The faucet is fully functional, and im not affiliated with coinbase in any way... I just like coinbase, and respect their business!

The faucet used to be working great, but now it's always claiming my address isn't a coinbase address (when it definitely is). In fact, its the same address that used to be working before.

Hmmmmm a lot of people are getting that error... I will buy a vps today and see if that solves the issue!

I dont understand your question. I dont make any profit from it, but it is profitable to you, because you can get 0.000025 per 30 minutes. It is community driven so the only way to fund the faucet is by donations by rich people, and also the advertisement slot, but unfortunately no one has bough it yet :(.

Given that you did this on the same day that Dailybitcoins cut their base payment to 300 satoshi from 1000 you may have the highest paying faucet!  Congratulations and thank you.  I hope you find someone good for your ad space and that your faucet remains sustainable.

I believe that this is the highest paying faucet that delivers the money instantly to your wallet! Since there is a lot of interest in this faucet, I am going to try to implement inputs.io into my faucet but it may take a little while... Yes, I have two faucets. I think I will keep my payout like it is. I get a lot of PeerBet requests and I already had to use my own BTC to keep it running (I don't mind, but you get my point. Even my 1 sold ad isn't enough to support it :P).

I never said it should be profitable / I want to be profitable. It would just be nice if I could pay from my faucets by using my ad revenue. Like I said before, I do not mind putting my own money into it.

Your faucet isn't working for me today.  I tried the same coinbase address I have always used, and even tried some other of my coinbase addresses, and I keep getting this error message: "Please enter a valid Coinbase Address!"

Where are you trying to sell your advertising space?  Maybe you should list it in the auctions folder or something along with your page views and such?  I wish you would get at least something for your site.

Thank you! I found the error, but I cant do anything for it :(. I am contacting Coinbase about it. I am getting an error saying that the amount is less than the bitcoin networks minimum, but that shouldnt show up since you can send any amount from one coinbase account to another without any fees, and instantly! Sorry for the delay guys, but I am doing the best I can!

It seems to have that timer issue again.  What is the frequency one is allowed to apply for another payout?
It worked when I first tried it after you said hear it was fixed and then I waited for more than half and hour
and it gave me a message saying to please come back in 54 minutes...  I came back a couple hours later
and now it is telling me to wait 49 minutes...

Thanks for the heads up. I will work on a fix asap. I guess running my faucet would have been better than custom coding one...

Custom coding > standard software. Why? Because you know what it does and where it could go wrong. But I could be wrong.
I could help you if you want, but I would have to know how you store the time when someone requested a payment and how you check that against the current time when someone is trying to get another payment.

I just store it in a database and check that.

Its a little more complicated than that.

Cool site, I saw another somewhere, don't remember where, and it is great for you, because if someone does not have a coinbase.com account and they use your faucet and buy or sell at least 1 BTC you will receive $% worth of BTC from CoinBase. You should probably be able to get many of the inputs.io faucet owners to use your coinbase API faucet script, and get some donations from them as well, so that they can continue to using their websites for a faucet.

Thanks. Well as for where I learnt was on YouTube. My parents never took the time to teach me and if they did have time they would have taught me java which in my opinion is a shit language. Well now there is code academy and udacity which is probably the best way to go. I have been programming since I was 8 (started with html).

Have you thought about BTCoinAds ( http://bitcoinads.com/publishers.php)? I think they pay CPM instead of PPC so you aren't dependent upon the generosity of your visitors to click on the ads...

The faucet is going to take some time as its not my top priority. I lost 1.3 btc while betting so my top priority is to make that back. Also I have already redone the hub in ror, I just have to fix a few minor issues. The new version of the site should be up soon. The biggest issue I am having is that I am unable to create a ror server that I can launch it on.

I learnt my lesson and have stopped. I think it's a good thing to learn now instead of when I'm an adult since I might be betting much more than I did now.

I lost 0.6 BTC (small compared to some other people's losses, but still abotu $500), so now I only bet with the free promos.  (it's fun to try out different martingale algos)   :)

Hey! I will make it back up over time and wont really try betting again. As far as the script goes I was the designer for that code and have a spare copy. I dont really intend to put that kind of stuff (will always lead to legal issues), but if I were going to I would recode it to match my site design and make it much more advanced than it is now. (That code is in php and I would recode it for rails).

My 1.3 BTC loss will not affect the faucet as I have always left 0.05 to the side for it. Also I will be getting advertising revenue so it should be all fine! :) I am working to get a server up with my new site design but unfortunately the faucet isnt complete. :(

I didnt design the script. All of the bootstrap css was done by me. B!Z came to me after some other php guy coded the barebones of the site.
