The Lighting Network is having and will have a huge impact over LTC price, but I predict max. $400-$450 for this year. The $1000 range is putting LTC over ETH!

If LTC reaches 1,000 then it means that BTC will have arrived at 100,000 and ether at 10,000 but I think it is still too early to reach these prices.

litecoin has always move with bitcoin. last year bitcoin went from $900 to $20000 so litecoin went up from $4 to $200 (i forgot what the ATH of it was).
this year with bitcoin continuing its rally and going up more and more, it is not unrealistic for litecoin to reach $1000+ following bitcoin's rise.

i am also sure that when LN became more popular and atomic swaps started happening, there will be a boom in LTC price.

Now litecoin cost ~230$. Yes, it is possible and probably will achieve 1000$ but in my opinion one year is too short. But i hope i wrong :)

I would love to see the overall coin market cap in the 2-3 trillion dollar range this year. I'm also confident in litecoin for the upcoming. 1k is very realistic. It has a very strong use case, and that is going to be key for the success of currencies in the upcoming year I think.

LTC at $225 is up ~110% from its February 6th low of $107. It’s risen more than all the other top 8 coins, probably due to the upcoming controversial fork. It’s likely to fall back a bit after the fork to say $200. I think there will be a three fold rose in total market cap to 1.5 trillion at some stage this year, so guessing LTC would be about $600 at that stage, but I think $1,000 is a bridge too far for LTC to hit this year - but anything is possible in crypto! I do not think Litecoin will reach the $ 1000 price in 2018. Litecoin needs more time to develop and promote their technology extensively.
That will only happen when their staffs work harder in 2018 and the director must come up with new ideas for their current technology. I guess Litecoin will cost $ 1000 in 2020.

As of now the price of the litecoin is already $200 and for sure the price will become $1000 this year 2018 and if that happen for sure we will earn a lot of profit. Better to buy litecoin because for sure many company and new project will be parner with this coin.  I think more litecoin that you have more money to come or profit. People are very lucky who bought litecoin when the price is cheap.

If litepay becomes real litecoin will gain a lot of value, it would mean it could have a real usage except speculation, 1000$ is a bit much but 500/600$ could be a realistic targhet

Facebook is obviously going on a spree to ban all crypto ads and basically anything crypto related. Makes no sense for them to do that, and try to partner up with LTC at the same time. It's against their own principles.

I feel like that LTC could go to $1k but it's going to be pure hype. Nothing else to it. Even Charlie Lee said so, LTC could go back to $20 this year. I'm not saying that it will but you have to be prepared if it does.

I would doubt that any coin can go to 1m$ that is just stories which are told on mainstream and TV sometimes. Count total coin in supply and multiply by 1m$ and you will get GDP of top countries in EU at least..

The possibility is always there. However, looking at how BTC was coming down from a high peak shows crypto is not that stable yet. Of course rumors and all kind of pump and dump scenarios can also effect the price.

First of all i think Litecoin is a promising and stable coin ever and it's future is very well i think. Litecoin is increasing nowadays and i believe it will reach a good figure within this year. Litecoin too stable cryptocurrensy to do so big jump during so little time. I think it can reach maximum 500-600$.

I definitely think it can reach $1,000 by the end of the year, as it is way faster and cheaper to send transactions with Litecoin than it is BTC, ETH, or BCH. With the introduction of Litepay, and then supporting segwit will be big developments for Litecoin this year as far as usage goes. The biggest question on whether it will reach the $1,000 mark in price will be whether the scaling efforts work for the project or not. I definitely think Charlie Lee has been rejuvenated with new ideas for the project as well, so there could be all kinds of upgrades in store for LTC this year. That's just my speculation though.

I have been in on Litecoin for a bit. I like the growth and potential. I moved some around the other day and was surprised how fast it works! I missed out on the fork, my coins were stuck in Coinbase. But, I am excited to see what more growth comes this year as well.

Litecoin is also the best coin for long and still existing. I agree, litecoin is growing and really has the potential and even we hold it for long we can have profit. I also believe on the growth of this coin.

Last all time high for Litecoin was around $420 in December 2017. It performed over 100 times in 2017. The bottom of 2018 was around $100 so $1000 price target will be only 10 times so not far fetched and possible.

Market rebounded in the past few days. But today fell back. And once the BTC or ETH falls, the other coin drops. There is no reason why Litecoin can rise up the market.

one reason for LTC failed pump is the sell-off happened last few months. Of course with that reason it has a low chance to reach 1000 USD this year. Just my thoughts.

When you look at the last 6-month chart of Litecoin you will see that it almost retreated from the $ 350 dollar level to the $ 140 level. Litcoin despite having some great potential might not be able to rise as high as $1000. This has some reasons first of which is the profit related to it. If it is able to give good future return, it will have a good demand in the market. If its prices are stable, people will invest in it because stable prices are the most desired wile making investment decisions. Also if these things hold, LTC might rise even high than the said amount.

Litecoin is like Bitcoin's little brother. And they are perfectly fine with that role. The only way for Litecoin to reach $1000 this year is if Bitcoin reaches $50 000. I personally don't see them as a great standalone project. There needs to be some fundamental reason why people would want to buy it for that price.  So these attributes are already present: Confiable, strong, present in all big exchanges.  Yet it is $115.50 as of today.  Why would anyone want to buy it more than the current market price?  For the rumor that facebook could partner with it?  That doesn't justify much more than the current market price.

Had to actually check to see what LTC was at, since I don't follow its price as a matter of habit.  $120 right now, which is astounding to me.

I'd say that bitcoin is going to have to rebound significantly this year (and likely next year as well) before ltc goes even halfway to $1000.  Won't say that it can't happen, because there are few things as unpredictable than the price of altcoins and ltc is one that some merchants actually accept.  Time has proven that it's foolish to write it off, even if it isn't as sexy as some others.  OTOH, ethereum is already halfway to $1000, so it's already shown it was the better bet.

Last all time high for Litecoin was around $420 in December 2017. It performed over 100 times in 2017. The bottom of 2018 was around $100 so $1000 price target will be only 10 times so not far fetched and possible.

For me 500$ is still to big price for it in this year, it will pump of course but it won't be that big like some part of us think, this coin could surprise in this year but big ath could be hit in next year.
