For the "new" ones I would recommend Arcblock. But I would not call it safe... They have a great idea but I'm not sure they will succed or not so its very risky but huge potential.

Why bro this worry about alts. I am also very much dependent on bitcoin but alts are one of the support for bitcoin to bump and dump in the market. If we does not have these coins in the market we may not find the bitcoin at this much high value.

The alt should also be scheduled to get listed on at least on exchange in the near future so you know you'll be able to sell it and why not profit from it (and it's also a little guarantee that the project is serious because getting listed on an exchange ain't that cheap anymore .. ) .

Am not so sure myself. There are many new altcoins with huge potential, but which could be profitable is up for debate due to the extreme volatility of this crypto market. The new altcoins that I invested into after a good amount of research are NAV, EOS and IOST which I will be HODLING for the long term for maximum profits.
