What do you think would happen to the rest of the currencies if for some reason bitcoin were to crash and the price dropped to 0?

All the alt coins will also collapse with this. I do not think that we will ever see bitcoin coming to zero even if it collapses. People who were involved in the planning of this concept will remain invested with some amount just to support it. However, if it goes to $1000 or below (which can happen because of strict laws in developed countries), a lot of alt coins will be completely wiped out. We should keep in mind that most of these alt coins are sold based on the popularity of bitcoins only and thus they will suffer due to bitcoin prices decreasing.

Likely yes, if that happens then people will loss thrust to all cryptocurrencies. It will become very bad news that will cause hard crash to all cryptocurrencies price. Then people will looking another type of alternative currency.

Lets pretend  this will happen i think there will be panic on all market leaving all altcoins vunerable to crashing, mass media and social media will definetly broadcast this, creating more panic.

But to be honest i  can see that some coins will not go to zero. Some altcoins has supporters as well. I think ethereum will be one of the coin that will survive.

Bitcoin will not crash easily, but if this thing happen, I’m pretty sure all cryptocurrency are on risk because of the fallen value of bitcoin which consider as a great coin. I still believe this thing is just an speculation of a negative thinker, bitcoin will keep on soaring higher.

If bitcoin will crash the a new cryptocurrency will emerge and will be the next bitcoin, but then again people will have to second thought when they invest because they will have to look back at the history where a prominent cryptocurrency is crashed and all the investors got zero from their investments.

This will never going to happen as bitcoin already gained the trust of people and investors, but let us assume that bitcoin crashes or pops out because it is just a bubble, people will panic of course due to a massive loss. history tells us that if bitcoin drops, crashes or ... then all the altcoins without an exception will have a much bigger drop, crash ,... than bitcoin had.

Let assume that what you are saying will happen since I do not believe that there is a possibility for that because of bitcoin's stability is obviously not easy to annihilate and most of all by just simply fake negative news that always reveal the response of weak hands. Of course all cryptos will surely lose its value first before bitcoin will totally drop to zero. As we all knew that all cryptocunrenccy is always depends its value on bitcoin.  Meaning if bitcoin will be dead all that will also be the end for all.

If it does happen even though the possibility of crash is something we are quite familiar with but falling down to zero is another ball game that would change the way things is being done. Of course the effect will be massive with a lot of people losing their money and investment but its a zero sum game because for someone losing, it means someone else is winning which would reduce the effect to a large extent. i dont think bitcoin itself decides the faith of all other alt coins. They have similar technology but each with a slight variation on how they tackled problems on the blockchain network. Besides, each of them has its own team managing it. I do admit chances are it would affect the value of other coins, but it wont necessarily kill them all.

Oh no, probably some other scheme will emerge, maybe some country-controlled digitial cash, like digital USD or something. Bitcoin was not the first attempt at digital cash either, there were some precursors (long dead precursors, to be sure) and if Bitcoin dies, some other type of crypto will emerge. If ever this thing wpuld happen, I doubt that it will negatively affect other cryptos. The scenario you are talking about is not likely to happen even in the worst case ,one thing you have to understand is that the entire alt coin market came about just because bitcoin started it all and all of the coins are primarily trading with bitcoin and if the price crashes all of the coins will come down,after all it all depends upon what made the crash in the first place.

People will instantly lose all the trust to crypto currencies at all. First period will be very difficult to survive for most of currencies. But if they will, some major currencies like Ethereum or Litecoin take place of Bitcoin on the market. But i don’t think that BTC will fall so rapidly.
