Binance denounced the hack/phishing rumor which was spreading like wildfire for the last 24 hours and it seems this is just another attempt at spreading FUD to manipulate the market even further. Can't see it dropping below 7k as it already seems to be stabilizing, moving past the rumors.

BTC dump to 4000 is a long process. At least 100 days. before, BTC will pump around 10000. Then it will happen uptrend and I am sure the BTC will be up to 28000 by the end of this year or sooner. But here topic I showed the worst case when the sharks and exchanges controling this market. when they are threatened by profit sharing between themselves. There is always a chance to drop the value of bitcoin but i believed that it wont happen to drop at that $4000 value. As of now $8,890 is the value of bitcoin and continue to fluctuate and i am hoping that i will make miracle to hit the top value again.

as you know binance are denying the hacked rumor so it will not create any further dip ,i think going to 4k$ is not possible,they have already clarified that all fund are safe and they have resume the trading.i think we might see a little dip but it will recover soon as q1 end is approaching,we can seen another

The alleged hacking incident was quickly acted by Binance. They have immediately stop withdrawals and it looks like they have done a tremendous job at reversing the said incident. That's why Binance is the number exchanges the way they show  support and the actions that they have taken to quell it. And its not a hack on Binance per se, it has something to do with the automated bots. Those users who uses this bots have been exploited. So its a isolated incident and not everyone has been affected. My funds are still intact. Well as far as the selling of a Japanese whales of large sum of bitcoin, the only thing I can say is the timing of his dumping, but I guess he needed to liquidate it to pay the debtors or something. But going back to your question, I don't think that we are going to hit $4000, when everything settles down in the next few days and investors realized what causes this dip, I'm sure that they will go back to the ecosystem because this time is a good buying for everyone. I'm seeing another rally and hit $10000 anytime soon.

Theoretically speaking, yes, it can go down to 4000 usd or even lower, it can also go even higher than its all time high which is 20000 usd, but i do not see it going lower than 1000 usd or going back to its original price which is less than 1 usd. If we look at the chart, the volume of trade is high and a lot of people seems to already had taken profit, we should be weary of the price going down, since those people who had sold their bitcoins at a high price will surely buy back whenever there are signs of reversal or if the price is alrrady at igs lowest and not breaking any support, i think we should also consider using fundamental analysis at this time.

If I'm new to bitcoin I would have believe what you said concerning bitcoin dump in price and even if what you said concerning the Binance hacked and Mt Gox was truth. I don't think bitcoin will break below $4,000 price range.

Alleged binance hack, bitcoin sell of, supply is going up, rumors make people to worry, panic selling is here again, I didn't see that coming. Fud, fud, fud, a lot of it and looks like there is no end of that. I think what ever happen we will be alright, we can even get to that 4000 dollars and what will happen then? Some people will use that situation to buy very cheap bitcoins, just panic sellers will suffer and new people who bought at some top and because of down trend they will sell to fast and lose money. I don't know about that new rally when will it happen and what can trigger that, what I'm sure in is that price will come to 10000 dollars before summer again, now matter how deep it falls.

Actually, no one can predict perfectly like $4k. there is always chance to drop the price but not $4k and make sure also always chance to increase the price.

I do not think bitcoin will return $ 4000 with news related to China or Binance. In binance's alleged accident seems to have been resolved. But it will not cause any serious impact to bring the bitcoin value down to $ 4000.

As per the TA, price is again in uptrend. But if bitcoin goes down $9k again, then the next support level is of $8250 and that is quite a strong support. In my opinion, I do not think it is possible for the price of bitcoin to go below $6000. The price of bitcoin is very volatile and is prone to frequent downfalls like this, however as it has always been after every downfall, there is usually a turn up in the price in a very short period of time. Whatever your "some sources" are, they are complete bullshit. Binance wasn't hacked in the first place. It was a third party that hacked the api of Binance users. Secondly, no one knows which exchange was used to sell the coins, so don't tell that Binance was used to hide the selling of MT GOX coins.

I feel the same way too. When the price of BTC surged up then it will have new highs and lows. These lows are the floor. Reducing below $4000 right now that the BTC gained it's momentum is not that probable to happen. A lot would love to buy BTC each time it dips and they surely won't let it happen or expect for it to go all the way down to that price.

I think that was not gonna happen that it will reduce to $4000 even though the bitcoin price getting into dip in the couple of days bitcoin can recover it, that is normal in the market price ups and down due to the supply and demand.

Let's just hope it will not happen, actually we are already down big since at a close to $20K ATH, we are now
trading at over $8K which could already cause some panic especially those new players in the crypto.

There are possibilties that Bitcoin will reach that ATL for this year in which the reason is still because of Mt.Gox too. If you heard well or read well the news it says that there are still a huge amount of Bitcoin at their dispossal in which if they will sell again it will result to further decline of Bitcoin value.

Bitcoin price right now might be reducing due to some bad news but I don’t think it will go far down to $4k. I think that’s way too much down for its market, and would create chaos. I don't think it can reduce to $4000, a few days back the price was around 11,000$ but now it is in and around 9000$, it is not permanent and that is not an indication of price is dropping to 4000$. Bitcoin has all the ability to again boost in the price more than 10k mark.

There are a lots  of supports that bitcoin has to break before  reaching $4000 which I hope cannot be actualised despite all the negative news about binance hack and Mt.Gox this is not first time such thing is happening we have experienced worst events in 2007 that temporary affected the price of bitcoin which later recovered.

It is not advantageous for large players in the market to lower the price of bitcoins so low. Because it will be a panic and the market can collapse very much. And this is not beneficial to anyone. Therefore, I think that this will not happen.

For now it was impossible to happen, but due to low demand and supplies of crypto in the market it was possible to happen. $4000 is amount that was hard to accept because more of us had create a good foundation of coins in the market. but remember that we start lower than that amount so just believe and supports that, because sooner it will recover more than we expected.

It's totally impossible. Bitcoin price will never reducing more than 50% so I think 8k$ is the lowest price that Bitcoin can dump to at the moment. Right now, It's rising back and price of Bitcoin is more than 9k$ right now. Beside I think you shouldn't be scare when you heard a lot of bad news related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, maybe they're just fake news and published to try to make the whole market painted in red. :).

I personally agree with you the situation to falling down  to $4000 is impossible even there are so many people performing a panic selling and a lot of problem faced by bitcoin it cannot dump more than 50% .

Nothing is impossible in this crypto world, don't be both too optimistic and pessimistic. You may believe in bitcoin but you should be ready for everything. We cant predict the future, like what we have seen last year when it was up to 18-20k where most people have never thought that it would reach that price. And you are wrong to say it cant dump more than 50% because we have just seen earlier this year when it was down from 16k to 7-8k and it is not being recovered fast as you think.

There was a brief moment when Bitcoins got to $5K a couple of weeks ago and now it was able to rebound to the current price now so I think it’s very possible for bitcoin to get to that level and I know that it can rebound from there.

4k$ is too low for Bitcoin price. At the moment Bitcoin price is stable around 9k$ and I think it's the lowest price of Bitcoin at the moment. this is a very alarming query, 4K is a very low and unexpected figure for the Bitcoin if this thing will happen then a lot of people will face huge financial loss and this blockchain system will also face a threat of its extension. for me it is very impossible, indeed bitcoin price down for now but not mean it will decrease till $4000. like a last month, bitcoin price decrease even to $6000. but it's will not for long time. i'm very sure will increase again very soon.

I doubt we we hit such a low bottom. I think for now the bottom for Bitcoin would be around 6-7k USD but having said that anything can happen. I think the retracement is set at around the 7k USD mark and perhaps we might see an all time high this year of 30k USD. I am not that optimistic right now but logically speaking, we should be getting to around the 30k mark for an all time high then next retracement would be back to around 12-13k as the new low. That's just my guess looking at the charts for the last few months. I am not God though, so don't take my word for it lol.  ;D

You can never say anything for sure in this market. I was very optimistic when BTC was scaling up again but then it lost 20% in a single day.
So, it all depends on the luck. If someone starts dumping the coin again, the price can fall down again. Just keep an eye out for price every day and sell your investments if the stock starts falling harshly.

You are right no one knows will it or not but the chance for happening is very less in my view.Because when we turn back the history the bitcoin will always recover from the crashes now also the price recovered little bit and nearly at $9000 so I don't think it will reduce to $4000.

You can expect anything from bitcoin. No one can predict exactly what is going to happen now. Although by observing the market and events causing increase and decrease, some people got enough good skills to predict and these predictions, somehow, are feasible. But still, it may happen bitcoins can go down even below $4000 tomorrow and vice versa. They are unpredictable.

It can get even lower than that, however I think it is pretty unlikely, dont leave money in it that you will urgently need in the next few months.

Just last month Bitcoin has gone down to around 6k dollars only to rise up after a week to 10k dollars, so if you foresee with whatever information you have that Bitcoin could really go down to 4k dollars, then that might just happen. I don't see any reason for why it would ever go that low. Even after all the setbacks of the Chinese crypto ban, the South Korean threats, the USDT/Bitfinex issue, the SEC, the Mt. Gox BTC sell-off, etc etc etc, BTC is still hovering between $8K and $11K. So why would it go to $4K now?

bitcoin price can reduce in any level of the price but I don't think that it will reduce until $4k and with help from the community, bitcoin price will grow more than now. and there is a support from the government by making some regulation for bitcoin but the price still has the possibility to reduces as in the cryptocurrency, we know that the price will always change so we should prepare for this.

Unfortunately yes ir can be if we continue to sell all of our bitcoins instead of buying them and as what i noticed there are a lot of miners out there rather than investors tgat makes the bitcoins lower too in my opinion but i know that doesn't work like that. I think it's possible but very or extremely hard to happen because that will mean that most of big endorsers leave BTC and of course that will cost FUD and that will attract more people to be scared and also leave BTC.

I really do not see the point in all that the OP has said anyway and since binance stated all that happened on their blog as that not being a hack attempt, then I do not see how there should be an issue. However, if we are to say in the literal sense where bitcoin will be moving to and in what direction, then we can as well just imagine anything is possible. It is a market and if the chances come for the bears to drag it down to $4k, no one will stop it and vice versa.

The whales have been manipulating the market for years. However G-20 and more regulations are coming very soon from USA, Korea and EU authorities. No. the bitcoin will never go back to $4,000 regardless of what happen to Binance because it not the only major exchnage in the world. by the way, all the transactions done during the hacking incidents were reversed. thus, the hackers lost everything and one lost a dime from the Binance users. 

If you ask someone who were engaged in crypto since it was started, their answer is surely "impossible to drop btc's price down to $4000". Speculations are always there since btc's price is volatile. But for me, as I also see the graphs each day, it is impossible for now to reach down to that level.

The one thing I learned since I started to invest in crypto is to not care much about the crazy changes in my portfolio. Crypto is still like the internet in the 90's, sooo much room for growth, but also many pains along the way. The marketcap is still higher then what it was on the 1th of Dec 2017, and it had a crazy run after that. There was always going to be a correction after a crazy rise, and the endless stream of FUD from the last months didn't help.

So let's put them out of equations. We can just talk about ourselves.

Regarding this graph, I can raise some questions:

1) Is nowadays the transaction-fee more important to the miners or btc reward? If btc-reward is more important (right now 12.5btc/block) which is most likely the case, then if the electricity bill becomes more expensive that the btc-reward in most/majority of the democratic-countries (definitely not Venezuela  :) but China included. Not democratic though, but China is too big to be ignored  :)),  it might be so that the minors just shut-down their mining-machines temporarily until the prices go high again! this might lead to a blockage of the btc-network and this will lead most likely to even lower prices of btc. The lower the price the more miners go out and it becomes even worse (please tell me it is not the case). I don't think relying on not-democratic countries (or very tiny-ones) can fix this. Besides in near future, they don't have the potential to support the network.

2) This is also a fact and definitely miners would consider how profitable the mining will be in the future, when you never get a guarantee for a minimum price of btc. Because the electricity-bills and the cost of machines are not paid in btc, but in fiat currencies. So we might expect less investing in mining in the future (please tell me otherwise, if you have a counter arguments)

Gosh, certainly not. What I think is that Bitcoin price will be fluctuating. it will be somewhere between 7,5 and 11 thousand. However, close to autumn it will go up fast.

Bitcoin price right now might be reducing due to some bad news but I don’t think it will go far down to $4k. I think that’s way too much down for its market, and would create chaos. I agreed with you, 4000$ is the lowest limit to Bitcoin because Bitcoin could turn into 0$ price if people lose their interests in it and noone want to earn it, own it or even mine it.
