Hi,

Do I need any kind of registration or regulation from the government to be able to get the atm put and to work?

It really depends on your country of operation.
Some countries just don't require any kind of registration, like AT, IT, CZ.
Anyway its always best to check with local lawyers before continue.

PS. We are currently looking at these ATMs as vending machines. If local law is OK with treating Bitcoin ATMs as vending machines, then you go that way.
PPS. It gets really nasty if you deploy cash-out machines. They obviously can't go as vending machines and that means much more hassle.

Can you split $1000 into 10 of $100 coupons?

Sure, it can be 5 x 200, 8 x 125, 10 x 100 or any combination with the same total amount, i.e. 4 x 125 + 5 x 100 :)

I have looked a little bit into it but if you are in the USA, looks like you have to register as a money transmitter which can be quite expensive depending on which state you operate in, would need bonding and a minimum networth as well. 

The ATM comes with software, which is pretty good for selling crypto. We wouldn't recommend reformatting it, however it is your device. Do whatever you want.
To place this ATM in a crowded area you would need to pay a monthly rent, but if you already have some space in a crowded area you pay nothing except electricity costs and internet.

It seems that some states are OK for ATM like ours, in some states you'll need a license, but other states forbid installing crypto ATMs.

Which currencies does it actually support?
I mean FIAT currencies, I can see the crypto ones

It supports all available fiat currencies. Even more: The owner can configure fiat currency for each crypto currency. For example: Bitcoin can be purchased with USD, while Ethereum can be purchased with EUR.

Where are you located? (Where are you shipping from)

We are shipping from several locations depending on what is cheaper. Usually its from Riga Latvia, but sometimes from Vienna Austria, or even Moscow Russia.

Yes, in fact you're selling your own crypto using these machines. You need to get crypto in advance (either buy it or mine it). That's why our machines are perfect companion for miners. You may sell your crypto for a fee, the usual fee is 3-6%% plus network/withdrawal fee.
If you aren't mining, we recommend buying USDT (or any other fiat-fixed coins/tokens) and use it for auto-conversion to any desired crypto a customer could buy using your Trovemat. This way you are protected from rate volatility risks. If your exchange can't convert from USDT to some crypto, don't worry: Trovemat automatically will make a cross-conversion for you. For example: USDT--->BTC--->{some_wierd_crypto}. And of course Trovemat will calculate all expenses (trading fees) for cross-conversion, so you won't loose a penny from it :)

Can the T1 do both buy and sell?
Can I connect to an exchange via API? I dont want to have my own wallets and own crypto, too much fluctuation risks
Will bill checker work with Canadian funds? Or will I hafto buy more parts?

Why can I not connect to my favorite exchange via API call? No risk at all, I never own any crypto, customer gives 500 bucks and machine goes and purchases it from exchange then sends to them later. Or am I misunderstanding you?

It is what this ATM actually do. Not sure about cash-in/out capability though.

Ok I checked the site. I like the trovemat's. Can I disable the KYC sms check? Also I think only the T2 has buy and sell option but very little details on site.

Yes, SMS check can be easily disabled if you don't need it.

We do not recommend it though. Just imagine - a customer has paid for crypto, received a receipt, but something went wrong with sending (limits of your exchange accounts/bad address/you name it...)

For your scenario we are thinking to make SMS or E-mail option for receipts as well, especially failed ones.

Is your software open sourced? Just looking for some verification that jetcrypto.com and Trovemat are legitimate.

Most of the social is non-existent and nothing on github but php. I'm hesitant in registering with SMS required on the site to do a deep dive for information.

1. We plan to open source Trovemat software as soon as it will be widespread. So far there is no point in open sourcing it, our clients are welcome to audit the code after signing NDA.

2. Trovemat website is running by JetCrypto, LLC and has been verified by Shopify, plus PayPal, BitPay and GoCoin payment processors. You can't accept Visa/MasterCard/Diners and AMEX without business verification.

3. Social Media are very important to us, but we've decided to focus on engineering and QA at this point, because the project is still under heavy development and new features are being added on a daily basis.

Your website has two options for each model: NEW and REF.
Now, what is the difference between these two?
Teh price is almost cheaper for REF...
Is it used ones? How heavily used? Does it have the same warranty as NEW ones?
The REF ones are pretty affordable, but is there some catch?

REF is used payment kiosk that has been professionally restored.
1. It is completely repainted, so it looks absolutely new.
2. Some components are new: touch-screen glass, locks, modem, camera.
3. Some components are refurbished (serviced used components), such as bill validator, receipt printer, controller PC.
REF has limited seller warranty, but it is expandable for extra cost.

NEW ones are completely new and all components are covered by manufacturer warranty.

How fast  such investment will be paid off. The ATM + shipping in sum give pretty high investment, especially for people with East Europe salaries, so how much profit the ATM may bring per month of expluatation?

Return of Investment (ROI) really depends on multiple factors. How high transaction fee will be? How many people will buy crypto? What is average transaction amount?

In brief I can tell you, that if you install Trovemat in crowded area with high density of crypto-aware people, ROI could be as low as 4 months.
You may also get a lot of traffic from coinmap.org if you list your Trovemat there.

Four months doesn't seem so much. In the situation of raising interest to crypto currencies I suppose such business can become really profitable. I need to make an analyze of my city and their crypto interests to see will it be successful or not.

Yes..you can set whatever price you want...in my city BTM's generally have 30% markup or 20% mark down depending if it's a buy or sell order. But I do not recommend such high percentages, go lower to be more competitive with your competition.

Yes, it's like you see on the photo, it have built-in cash validator. Do you prefer more outside view or what?

Hi, on the webpage we have 3D rendering picture and was planing to have this outside cover cap for cash validator, now we did it more secure and it's not necessary to use this cover. This cover had no real functionality just design only, so there's absolutely no difference between it.

If you buying mew ATM, 1 year warranty included and you don't have to pay nothing. For the 2nd year if you want update your warranty for 1 more year it cost $100.
For refurbished we have 6 months warranty time and you can extend it to 1 year for $300.
You also have to pay delivery cost, that we can calculate, based on your address info.

Is there a monthly maintenance/carrying cost paid to Trovemat?

Hi, From your side as an operator you have to pay for it electricity and wireless internet cost. Maybe, if you have agreement with bank you have to pay for encashment service. Guess that's all.

I've seen these ATM's popping up around the city but they never seem busy and some seem to avoid it, when I asked around many said it seemed to complicated.

Does the unit include any help or instructions that people can follow clearly?  When you are starting out, how much BTC/UDST should you have in there.

Can you adjust the fee's and does the unit need any upkeep / regular maintenance?

Hi, yes, the unit include complete maintance and installation guide and instruction for people how to use it.
As to the BTC amount it's up to you. Some of our clients load 1500 USDT.
You able remotely configure your fee. Regular maintenance include printer paper changing and cash collection.
