After the price is often down and slow to rise higher like last year, what exactly do you expect, do you expect the price to go down to buy or expect the price to rise high?

i think the price will go down
people are loosing trust on bitcoin and other crypto currencies because most of it are scams
or just pump and dump coins

most of the crypto are just used that way
the real essence of it as a payment solution or payment system whatsoever is just
an illussion

I think sideways and maybe even more downside for the moment. We fell below a trend line that was acting as support yesterday and we are hovering in no mans land at the minute so it could easily drop down further. Having said that every time I try to predict bitcoin it does the opposite

People's desires must be different and it all depends on the need, and right now I hope the price will rise high because I already have some coins to sell.

All hope with his wishes and a lot of people who are afraid of the price slide and continue to panic selling, and here I wait for a low price to buy it and this is a good opportunity.

Currently, strong sell is happening because of Google's plan to ban all cryptocurrency from June. Furthermore, I expect price might even fall deeper before G20 meeting. FUDs will be fired to hurt the market. Brace yourself, I suggest you hodl or buy back at the moment.

For now I expect bitcoin prices to go deeper and I'll take that falling price opportunity to buy the bitcoin back, and hold it again until it rises higher.

It might go down still for the next following weeks :( But hopefully it will be back sooner or later with a high value. Feels sad that I didn't notice at the moment it went down to $9000 to $8000 (?)

I expect that the price in the upcoming days will continuously goes down. However, I am hoping that the price will move up even few percent. Atleast, I recover my investment because right now, I already lose with my capital.

actually this is relative, because I am a bitcoin user and want to sell bitcoin then I want the price to go up, because if the price goes up then my welfare more sure. But if prices rise then bitcoin buyers will be quiet, if prices fall then bitcoin buyers will be crowded. Actually, the stable price is good.

When the price has been going down already for some time, expect it to rise very soon, as when it is also in its peak we will also be expecting a correction right after. From somewhere $19,000 in 2017, we are only barely $8,000 right now. That is more than fifty percent slump down in price already. And that is big enough. We cannot expect Bitcoin to go any lower than that probably. It was even lower than $8,000 yesterday. I think we are about to see the end of this bear season and the beginning of a bullish one. Supply and demand is part of how crypto works and it has already become a trend in the crypto land that it has ups and downs, because it's volatile. Increase in price is an advantage for those who are holding their coins/tokens because it's their best time to sell it but not for the buyers. I am expecting btc price must go up anytime so while the price is down we can invest more and hold them a bit of time. Of course it is really risky if it will continue its decreacing price. For me its good it btc goes up than its price down.

We should not expect bitcoin to deep like that because I think bitcoin has a range now in which it fluctuates; when it deeps to that level it will rise again. U just have to be patience enough to wait and watch the movement.

I think the price moving sideways indicates both upside and downside.I always be positive about btc and expecting to go only up when some momentum is brought in and the volume starts pumping.This is how the market reaches the previous highs and also is getting close to breaking the previous highs and creating new milestones.I always prefer to enter the market once the correction phase is over using the technical analysis or indicators.

Don't think much the price is gonna go down for a while till the south Korean meeting isn't over and after that ... It will recover ... People are also selling off their Bitcoins ...not people but big whales and...what they have is limited thus they cannot influence it more than that.. so... I think the price would remain stable in the next three or four months, after that the price would pump again. I expect what happened in 2017, would happen again in 2018.

There is nobody on this forum that would be able to tell you with certainty, what is going to happen with the price in the future. If that was possible, people would just wait for that prediction and buy or sell, when that person makes their prediction.

We know from past data that the Bitcoin price goes up towards the end of the year, but that is also not guaranteed. Bitcoin is a high risk investment and you need a bit of luck to make some profits.

Most likely the price will stand still with a gradual decline. I expect growth only in the second half of the year.

The cryptocurrency market is very unstable and unpridectible, and no one can really tell when it will go up or down, or by how much, last year at this currenct time bitcoin was only 1250$ and it stayed stbale in that range up until may where it started making som significant progress, the idea is it could take bitcoin a month or tow or maybe three or it could jump un price in a week, the idea is that no one knows when, all we know is that eventually the price will start going up again, and when he does we need to be ready.

The price will most likely go up due to the price being so down for so long I believe. But it could also go down before going back up, no one can tell for sure since the market has been moving unpredictably as always. I just think people should buy the dip and wait for the price hike to happen.

Currently, I think the price might go down for a few days or maybe weeks. As this might be start of a little drop. It is really difficult to predict things to the dot,but one thing you have to understand is that never expect the price to rise every year or expect the kind of rally we had last year,the market is moving according to the market news and if there is a negative news the market will go down and if there is none the market will recover.i look for the long term rather than the short term.

I expect the price to increase to 9k next week. The price will only surpass the all-time high at the end of the year. I don't know what to expect in August. But I think we'll have a surprise. Maybe it will rise to 17k.

Expecting price to go up or down is mainly speculation and this thread is better to be moved to Speculation board. Everyone has his own opinion about the bitcoin price. Many in the forum including me believe that the price will rise when we will reach the 4th quarter of this year, I expect it to rise even faster.

The reason why bitcoin is under 8000 dollars in this moment is because of latest FUD together with a big number of home miners who are selling in panic. I am here waiting for the price to fall further and to stock up my bitcoin stash with my credit card.

BTC and all other coins are going one way and that's DOWN. With all the gloom and FUD now, there's no way in Hell that prices will ever recover. All of us are expecting the price to rise higher but it will only realize if someone will buy a bigger amount to reverse the situation. Don't panic we have this situation before and it proves that bitcoin price will bounce back. Be patient to wait that at the right time.

wow, you're being very optimistic... Also, that's not the first time I'm hearing/seeing comments like yours. There were drops in price before, believe it or not. Before Bitcoin had a smaller "population" but wasn't as banned in the world as now. Now the community is far greater, with far more bigger investors, tho it's has more restrictions then before.

Since we can only expect the cryptocurrencies' value to go up or down, then it will be much better if we will expect for a positive outcome. I am just neutral at this moment and can't really decide what to expect since bitcoin is constantly going up and down this month. Hopefully, a steady uptrend will be happening next month.

I recommend you not to relax. Whales can repeat their actions. You forgot that this month the price was $ 12,000 and then easily dropped to $ 7,000. Now it is very difficult to predict. I think it is better to pause and not to trade. You can easily lose your coins in case of an unsuccessful bet. If you hold your coins then the price is sure to rise.

Long term will not have that kind of question since in ups and downs they will just hold. They will treat price crash as another chances to increase their stash.

IMO this slow increase looks pretty good, why? because it is better to ride slowly but surely, rather than riding with a sudden jump, this can usually have a negative impact on prices. chances are, if the price goes up there must be a sudden crash. I prefer to see the current situation, this green price continues to rise and I believe that in a few weeks towards the end of the month, we can reach $ 11k - $ 12k.

Right now we are seeing the price is going up at a constant rate. Almost crossed $9,000 USD today. We are expecting the price to go further up and reach around $11,000 by the end of the week. Fluctuation is always there in bitcoin price, but i think overall the bitcoin price is continuously increasing, and for now as the bitcoin price is trading too much stable for a long time. Although it is difficult to give a 100% correct speculation about bitcoin price but still i would like to say that more chances are that bitcoin price will very soon start increasing, because still bitcoin price has too much potential and therefore more chances are that its price will increase more in near future.

Yes that is right, but in current time the bitcoin price is in downward direction, and even it is expected by some investors that the price will remain down for some more time and after the July 2018 the price will again starting recovering and at the end of 2018 may be the price of bitcoin recover its previous high price and will even continue increasing making a new all time high price.
