I believe at this point and the situation of bloodbath, you have got to trade after making thorough research, but i can still vouch on bitcoin and etherum to take their rightful places, don't gamble, don't use intuition.

make your researches

Who trades based on intuition? At-least I know of no such person. If this is your strategy you will get rekt sooner than you know. Learn TA, atleast basic TA so that you know what support resistance etc is. Either you go long term with projects that have solid fundamentals or you depend of TA for trading, no such thing as intuition will make you money in crypto of anywhere else.

Yes, researches are absolutely needed as we need to be responsible for our money :). Right now, I am more willing to choose some major coins such as BTC, ETH, or some altcoins with periodically development progress!

Maybe you are right, the market is different from that in 2017 when almost all the coins will give you a multiple return and during which you can even make a lot money just based on your intuition. Now, I would prefer some long term investment on solid projects, short term trading isn't good for me!

Trading is also a game of chance and it both needs technical analysis and intuition.  It is necessary that we monitor the market and trends to analyze the future of a coin.  However, there are other factors to consider that sometimes mathematical analysis cannot answer but only to speculate by means of intuition.

Generally speaking, I will use the K chart to determine the direction of the market. Most of the time, the K chart is accurate, so it can be used for reference. I am a day trader. ;D

I choose technical analysis cause it is becoming more and more popular and in future the influence of the technical analysis must exceed the fundamental data because more and more people are inclined to use it. This means that more and more people will start buying or selling assets according to the investigated technical data thus pushing price up or down.

In my opinion, those who are trading in intuition may so bargain that they will lose all their money. You need to trade correctly and be able to read charts, keep track of news and many other aspects

Trading use technical analysis is much better, because we will know the price on oversold and overbought and from that we can decide the price will continue follow the trend or will reversal.  Technical analysis is very usefull when doing day trading and swing trading so important to learn more about it.

You have to check the history of the coins, that you are going to trade before you start trading, sometimes I implement technical analysis or from telegram buzz and sometimes from my hunch, there's still no guaranty that one will work over another, diversification is still the key.

Research is the first essential step to any investment choice, and intuition an intrinsic part of that assessment, not distinctively separable.

In the trading world, I just follow my heart. There is no special analysis on coins prices. But I often failed when trading, this might be a big mistake in coins investment.

With forex you can trading with technical analysis, but in crypto market, I do not think it gives absolutely exactly 40 percent results. The market is still dependent on the sharks to manipulate the market, good news and bad news can have a huge impact on this fledgling market.

Well in my trading moves, its always started with technical analysis, fundamentals and deep research about the coin before i am going to buy altcoin, and then it followed by my intuition and those positive news. So far my trading is quite good because of my trading decisions.

However for some tokens i do trade, but simply by intuition, especially C20 token and others where there is a gap between buy and sell sides

Actually you can try to trade on bearish market using indicators with small allocation, cause now market is high volatile and if you know how to use it with some indicators like MACD, Stoch RSI etc. you can get very good profits, while others waiting for the market bounce.

I'm always skeptical of technical analysis, as I don't think it always applies to what in crypto are often quite thin markets.
I try to make reasoned decisions depending on whether I think there is a general bullish or bearish sentiment. The effects of good news and bad news tend to be either amplified or diminished depending on the overall market mood.

I am using both because it's not actually how well their performance are but also my intuition and my conscience because they do matter to me in every decision that I made.
I do like spending technical analysis because it will boost your confidence on an ICO or new Altcoin trading that you really sure that it will pump higher in a matter of days or weeks or months.
And the most important is my intuition so that you will not regret your decision to throw away your hard earned money and get higher return after time.

It is better to trade that backing and guides your decisions rather than to trade because your heart and soul says so, we don't have a perfect analysis but having it from the right people or references you can plan and strategize wisely without consulting your beating hearts desires, harmful environments of the market needs an accurate analysis, investigation, research and your own decision. You may have a winning situation cause your following your instincts but it is coincidentally, don't risk and play with your hard earned money or else you may lose it all because of your heart.

Trading with technical analysis will save your ass from this bearish market, normally scalpers like me would still be able to get good gains from these bloodsheds, trading with only your intuition is literally giving away your money and no good trader would do that, only newbies will do such thing because you need both technical and fundamental analysis in trading.

That is the worst you can do in trading, guts and luck wont work in our market situation because of the high volatility we need some technical analysis so that we have reference why would buy or sell, perfect entry and exits would be easier to spot because of these technical indicators so it is really necessary to learn.

Before trading in any coin i do deep research about that coin, compare quarter performance, semi year performance, year wise performance, analyze complete trading chart of that coin, observe moving average behavior, compare year wise price analysis, also review development team whether they launched the coin only or still they are backing that coin with innovation changes, after scrutinize these things i do trading in that coin because my inner-self is satisfied. But still risk is there because for future performance you are just supposing that coin to show same behavior in future.

of course you can"t rely on others predictions 'cause we have no idea if it's true or not. so much better to make our own technical analysis for the sake of our money 'cause most of news nowadays is false which is made by some FUD's so that they can manipulate the price in easy way.  So i suggest to don't jump real quick on any news instead make control your emotions and make some observation if its true or not.  .

Due to the high volatility in the cryptocurrencies market it impossible for any technical analysis to stand the test of time because it is impossible for any one to rightly analyse the market and give a professional advice on when to make your trading move so what I do most time is to follow my intuition and always trade base on price movement at every time.

Trading is the mixture of both some technical analysis's and some personal intuitions. The most important thing that is required for trading is the amount of knowledge regarding each coin in which you are investing only then your intuition will work.Technical analysis is also necessary but to certain extent, if the investment is more and the coins are different.

In addition to being able to analyze technical issues well, you also need to be sensitive about market developments, which you can not learn from anywhere you have to experience the same market to get that. Always use all the knowledge you may know to make the most accurate investment decision that can help you succeed.

technical analysis shows that cryptocurrency is going to crash. most show that it's more possible to see BTC at 2800$ than at 10k$. So if you only take into account technical analysis, what you should do is just sell and get as much money back as possible (since the cryptoworld is going to disappear in one week, with the G.20 meeting talking about bans, hard regulations and investigations for thousands of investors.

Intuition says that if you see blood, and bad news everywhere, and moreover you cannot see or expose a good argument for thinking on trusting cryptocurrency, is better to stay away.

If you consider both, and you still have coins, .....well....you are either ignorant or something worse.

For me i tend to make my decisions based on the news that i see, some events will affect the market and based on them the price will change, most of the trade that i do are with bitcoin ethereum and a bit of ripple, and their prices are fairly stable and they can be somewhat predictable, which means that if their prices go down it must be related to something, which makes trading them easier if you are always up to date with what is going on in the concurrency market.

Yes it is ,because if you wont use technical analysis and fundamentals how would you know when to get in and out in every trades you are in?it is very needed especially because the charts are moving accurately and following indicator's patterns ,it means you could easily get profits from those patterns using the technical and fundamental analysis.

Trading by technical analysis is the the most accurate and on time trading method because with technical analysis you make accurate and calculative moves in your trading but when you rely on intuition you stand to make mistake repeatedly because when you think that the market is right for trading you may be right or even wrong.

Wether you are trading by technical analysis or just intuition should make no difference on day trading. You also could roll dices for your predictions with same results. There was an interesting study by caas of business school, university London, that  compared simulated trading skills of monkeys against investors. Guess, who won that competition.

https://www.cass.city.ac.uk/news/2013/april/monkeys-beat-market-cap-indices
Especially on cryptocurrency markets you will have different results on mid- and longtermtrading. But also here technical analysis wouldn't help without deep researches on the traded currencies. Your intuition will give you the power to filter out  needed informations.

It would be riskty because the market has high volatility and it could rise and fall anytime that is why you need some proofs that you will get from technical indicators that will act as a good or bad signal to trader or not, indicators most of the time are accurate and it depends on the person who uses,3-4 indicators are good enough to win your trades.

Trading analysis is indeed needed because of our market's volatility you may want to read the charts first because it could rise and fall within just seconds,so it needs pure analaysis both fundamentals or news, and technical analysis so that you will have a good idea when to get in or out within your trades.

To become a successful trader, you can’t rely on your intuitions only and that you really need to get yourself well prepared for this by learning all the necessary things including the technical knowledge and the awareness regarding the things. I believe at this point and the situation of bloodbath, you have got to trade after making thorough research, but i can still vouch on bitcoin and etherum to take their rightful places, don't gamble, don't use intuition.

make your researches
Though, intuition can be said to be a type of gamble, one can earn hard if his/her predictions and beliefs about it come true. Listening to your heart is sometimes better than investing according to technical analysis. If a coin is good and has potential, investing in it without thinking when the market is running bearish is never bad cause you know that someday or the other it will rise. Both investing according to technical analysis and intuitions can prove beneficiary. Sometimes coins pump even if they have no recent news in the pocket, so intuitions don’t always prove bad.

Now, I would prefer some long term investment on solid projects, short term trading isn't good for me!
Indeed. I can agree that technical analysis and research before making short term traders or long term investments is very necessary in the current crypto market. As it is being said currently that 90% of the altcoins will fail and crash, its of utter importance that one invests with research and invests in a project or coin that has some real utility and application in the real world.

There are coins like NEO and XRP that solve real world problems and are working to connect the outside world with blockchain technology. And yes, in current market its better to invest in potential coins for long term.

Well in my trading moves, its always started with technical analysis, fundamentals and deep research about the coin before i am going to buy altcoin, and then it followed by my intuition and those positive news. So far my trading is quite good because of my trading decisions.
Its better such way. One can invest according to intuitions as well as technical analysis and research. One must first do research about the coins and market and study the charts, etc to understand its movement. Then after he/she is done doing research about multiples coins that have good potential and utility, he/she can follow his/her heart and invest in any crypto by choosing amongst those. Therefore, investing according to both technical analysis and intuitions.

Everything is needed when it comes to trading, we need every positive support before taking any decision in doing an investment. Technical, research about the coin, and market prediction, and last but not least always prepared for the lose. This is really important, not every investment will make profit, sometimes we win and sometimes we learn to win. Intuition based on research is the best answer in my opinion.

In my opinion, those who are trading in intuition may so bargain that they will lose all their money. You need to trade correctly and be able to read charts, keep track of news and many other aspects

Keep track on news is the best idea but if we work only depending on news, we need to wait long time, because good news comes not very often.
However, combination on news, technical and intuition are the best combination.

In such a bearish market, are you making your trading moves by technical analysis or just follow your heart and believe some coin will start to bounce back hardly or something else?
I still follow technical analysis even in this kind of market condition, if i had followed my heart then i would have lost a lot of money because there's a lot of times that i want to buy because i consider the price cheap and i expect a bounce back soon. Good thing my analysis said otherwise and i make money instead.

Trading using your intuition is a suicide because you are trading blindly and you are literally giving away your money that is why we need to learn basic technical and fundamental analysis so that we wont be using our lucks or intuitions in every trades we are doing, all of the successful traders are professionals that are using technicals and fundamentals when they are trading.

Trading based only on your intuition is a bad idea. For successful trading, you need to constantly analyze and monitor the market. Technical analysis needs to be known only to read graphics. Technical analysis of the crypto currency market does not fully work. Therefore, analyze, draw conclusions and trade with profit.

Yes, it is difficult to trade in this market, but relying only on your intuition I think you will lose everything very quickly! At the moment, I have reduced my trading to almost a minimum, as the bulk of my portfolio is still in drawdown..... But I know people who take as a basis the technical analysis and quite successfully trade even in such a bearish market.

Yes, that's what I believe. TA does not always work with cryptocurrency. Too speculative investment now which is manipulated by whales. But fundamental analysis is quite good compared to TA here. Although here you can't investigate any data like balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement. Many metrics applicable to stocks are not applicable here. So it's also kinda speculation. But it's definitely better than TA. Pick good coins and hold, that's the best way to invest in crypto.

I would say technical analysis any day. I am saying that because, in this market, there are lots of alleys to fail in your ventures, especially in the trading market. Many people have already said and reiterated how the trading market can be so dangerous and notorious in making deals go south, even for those who have actually invested enough time to study their ventures. So, winging it in this market would most likely amount to a loss than to success. It pays to do your homework mate.

If a coin has strong fundamentals than it is going to go up no matter what. You must based your choice on information. Btw all technical analysis  based on iformation.

You choose technical analysis because of the increasingly popular and in the future the influence of technical analysis. This means more people will start buying or selling assets according to the technical data being researched so as to drive prices up or down. Learn TA, at least basic TA so you know what support rejection and more. Do you go long-term with projects that have a strong foundation or you rely on TA to trade in the market.

Believe but you should not be too dependent on it because technical analysis although it can give us a clear view of market trends but sometimes the market will fake signals and if we believe in technical analysis, we will lose money. So we should trade in both ways is technical analysis combined with intuition, should not think intuitively just a gambling game, a trader with many years experience, intuition is always based on a lot of different factors, their intuition is not a joke, it is quite accurate, should not be underestimated

Studying trading is a matter of perseverance. It takes time before you hit your winning moments. You should not do intuition based trading instead search for an article talking on how to become good trader.

Trading with intuition will result to losses.

Of course technical analysis, trading with just intuition is no different than gambling especially when the market condition is not good as you can stuck at a very high price for a long time. With technical analysis, you can spot resistance and support line and can make your trading decision based on that, you know that the price will dip lower so you set your order lower and by doing that you can earn more profit.

Focusing on market dynamics is important for short-term traders, like the previous two days of token theft.A response must be made right away.

If you have decided to jump into the world of trading, then you need to be very well prepared and that you need to gather as much information and knowledge as you can so that you may be able to carry put better technical analysis. Trusting your intuitions and deciding the things based in your intuition without doing any kind of technical analysis is not a good idea and that it will not be beneficial for you.

In my opinion, technical analysis and intuition are also very important. But they all follow a technical analysis rule first and then choose which one is more important than it depends on the long-term strategy or short-term trading of the investor. For me, monitoring and market research will be important choices for my investment.

Intuition is too weak a tool to work in trading.
Intuition is not a reliable tool, you need something more reliable for making decisions when you should buy and when to sell your coins.
My opinion is that technical analysis is better.

You shouldn't exchange digital currencies in light of specialized examination or instinct however in light of this present reality utilize an instance of the coin and the market they are focusing on, the engineer's group and the number of group individuals. In the event that a coin has solid essentials than it will go up regardless. You should construct your decision with respect to data. Btw all specialized investigation in view of the data.

In crypto markets, fundamental analysis is more important. Any news, events, forks are very important for prices. But for good tradung you need technical analysis + fundamental analysis. Technical analysys for points - buy and sell, fundamental for understanding that you need to buy or sell.
It is true that it is the fundamental analysis that is more important for the cryptocurrency market than the technical one. This fact is repeatedly confirmed by sharp jumps in the prices of cryptocurrencies, which reacted to positive or negative news from the world of the cryptocurrency industry. But it is worth taking into account the fact that technical analysis is still important, but on condition that it will be taken into account with all other instruments, like: cryptocurrency analysis of the prospects of a single coin and general analytics of the entire cryptocurrency market that changes every day. As professional traders say: "to be a successful trader you need to live it"

I am quite skeptical on technical analysis...I believe there's no way to predict future trends basing on analysing past data. So you either anticipate the market because you get to know some important news on cryptos (in this case I am ok with talking about technical analysis) or you just have to rely on feelings and intuition ... which we all know can go the wrong way.

I think technical analysis somehow is still useful especially you are are investing for the longer time frame. Crypto is still very early stage, many projects are still subject to frequent volatility and many still lack of real 'product', most are just buying into their potential, it is not surprise if 50% of the top 20 coins might not survive in the mid term even. You just check back the top 20 coins for the past few years, you will shock so many previous hyped coins had disappeared  :(

And TA should use as analysis purpose, cannot be the sole factor to buy in to any crypto.

Intuition = gambling. Just follow the trends, bitcoin is always in a pretty clear 1-2 months trend, uptrend, downtrend, uptrend, etc etc. The faster you recognize the trend the easier will be for you to profit. You don't need to nail the bottom or the top, you just need to understand in what trend the market is.

For instance now, we have been in a downtrend for some time which means we could be approaching a reversal but you have to be cautious and wait for confirmation of several days, then get in.

Title: Re: Trading by technical analysis or just intuition?

Let's get realistic, have you ever made consistent sustainable profit by just following your intuition?

That gut feeling that you feel is really just your own personal bias pushing your conscience to justify an action that is unreasonable.
It has no bearing at all on a project's potential, it's just mind games you play on yourself.

So, if a coin you invested in based off of your intuition shoots up, you can say that you should go with your gut feeling.
But think of, say, doing 10 investments based off of your "gut feeling".
Out of the ten, how many would be successful?

I think you will find that there is no pattern and it is quite random.
The reason is, because it is just dumb luck and chance.

For me, I would rather base my investment choices on wise decisions based on actual market conditions.

For instance now, we have been in a downtrend for some time which means we could be approaching a reversal but you have to be cautious and wait for confirmation of several days, then get in.

I don't agree with you, because intuition is experience talking and seeing thinks that you are missing. No one should be driven by intuition only, but turning your back to it is not smart either.

Maybe but if you want to succeed in trading you have to follow rules, your own rules, your own strategy, if you can't follow your own strategy then you are never going to make money, that's the only way to get rid of emotions.

With crypto, the technical analysis is pretty much a meme. Whales can manipulate markets too easily for a normal person to read any info from the trendlines. Intuition and just keeping up with the news are your biggest helpers.

Meh, reeee manipulation reeee. Yes, there is manipulation but not as much as everyone tries to make it seem, without evidence btw. Screaming manipulation accomplishes nothing. Plenty of people make money just with TA so it must be working. Look up TheChartGuys on youtube.

It is a must to do/have both. Trading with intuition alone may have lesser chances for profit. Technical analysis would increase your chances for profit because it is based on facts and history or past performances wherein trends or patterns are usually found. These trends or patterns are solid guides that will help traders in making their decisions. We may not be experts in analysis at the moment, but time will surely make us gradually understand.

I'd say do both. Basic TA for entry and exit points can be useful specially in bear market, FA for some hope that other people might pick up same coins with news or upcoming announcements. Always try to book profits in this cycle as we dont know which is the bottom.

Of course you should do it based on technical analysis, it is suicide to depends on your intuition for trading as the chance of you guess it right is very small. Even with technical analysis you don't get everything right so intuition is more unreliable. I've lose a lot in the early phase of my trading career because of that.

Well of course you need technical analysis for trading, especially in such a bearish market as if you don't that then get ready to lose a lot of money. You can use your intuition on the bull market especially like the last one as it's not matter what coin you get as everything is up. Technical analysis itself isn't always right so you should put some thinking on it aswell.

actually both of this idea is usable in making our trading the technical analysis  and following your own  basic instinct  when doing investment in bearish market, because if you combine this two procedure in doing  your exchange transaction of your portfolio, theres a big tendency that you can gain a good profit of your trading invesment, but mostly people much depend by technical analysis because its a transparent way that you can see all the transaction physically.

How are you going to apply fundamental analysis to bitcoin? Or to any other coin for that matter. Fundamental analysis uses revenues, earnings, future growth, return on equity, profit margins, and other data to determine a company's underlying value and potential for future growth, most of it cannot be applied to cryptocurrencies since most of them are not even companies or businesses.

I think the main part is a technical analysis , but ot become a really successful trader you need to combine it with your intuition , which is a result of your past trading experience . To be honest , I don't think that trading on a such manipulated and bearish market is a good decision . TA doesn't work there , because market is moving where whales whant it to be and it's not always the same place where it should go according to TA .

This fact is repeatedly confirmed by sharp jumps in the prices of cryptocurrencies, which reacted to positive or negative news from the world of the cryptocurrency industry. But it is worth taking into account the fact that technical analysis is still important, but on condition that it will be taken into account with all other instruments, like: cryptocurrency analysis of the prospects of a single coin and general analytics of the entire cryptocurrency market that changes every day. with the techniques and analysis would certainly be easier to run. But if you want to rely on intuition is necessarily also good but seemed less effective. intuition is necessarily only based on hunches alone without any data and facts. but sometimes it also would be difficult to predict the result despite having techniques and careful consideration.

You can cast your mind back on the price of Bitcoin have had to crash twice after PBoC came up with news of the ban of Bitcoin and ICOs and why the adoption of Bitcoin by retail giant like Amazon can send the price of Bitcoin rallying to the top again.

Technical analysis is like a light in the dark, it shines and points the right ways, following which destinations are attained.

Unless you were born under a lucky star, following your heart to trade in this bearish period is suicide. I tried some technical analysis but most were failing. The best way to trade during this period is by using bot traders but even that is not fool-proof as you can still get rekt since the market is bearish. Most people who lose a lot of money are those who do not use technical analysis. That's why it's needed in every trade you do. Technical and fundamental analysis will give you a hint or idea of when to enter and exit the market or trade, which is why technical experts always know what will happen to the market.

If you are doing short term trading go for technical analysis. Technical analysis are quite accurate when it comes to short term or day trading trends. they can help you to know exit and entry point and an upcoming pump/dump but of lower degree. If you club fundamental analysis with TA, that is going to help more. But technical analysis doesn't guarantee what will happen in the future, even to be said people who are expert and always drawing trading pattern will often have a wrong prediction.
The whole market is purely based on demand and supply, none of technical analysis could predict what will happen to the price movement in the future even if someone is genius.
Just need a bad news mainly about regulation and it could sucesfully messed up all your prediction.

Technical analysis works well in a bull market but not in a bear market from what I have seen, what technical analysis does is to predict the likely direction of the price not to tell you what the price will be, a lot of people turns to profess themselves as a pro and most people have learnt their lessons in the recent bear trend

There should be both. I believe that intuition is sometimes more useful than technical analysis. After all, volatility usually happens in an instant.

actually, the both of them are related. in trading, we need the right technique and we also have to follow the heart. in trading, we should be able to read the market price in order to get a suitable price and make a profit. if we just follow the heart without having the technique of trading then I think it will fail, and otherwise. so it would be better if we use the both of them  in order that we can be more successful in trading

You can not leave 1out.Trading is also a game of chance and it both needs technical analysis and intuition.  It is necessary that we monitor the market and trends to analyze the future of a coin and as well go with our intuition after the analysis.

If you only rely on the words of the heart then I guess it's not traded but the gamble. It's hard if not accustomed to analyzing. It does need to be practiced and familiar because analyze is not an easy thing. but slowly the longer analysis, of course, it would be easier if you already understand and familiar.

I honestly have not joined the world of trading but I have a picture if I someday decide to follow the trading. I will share my views on trading. Although I have not been involved in the world of trading but I have been looking for and dig information about trading. I'm not the kind of person who would do something random. I prefer to plan well what I will do. As well as trading, I learned to do trading analysis from senior and professional traders. I learned to make a strategy about trading so that when I jump in the world of trading then I use a smart strategy and use technical analysis. Finally, I also apply a good risk management to prepare myself against losses.

Trading with emotions involved is one of the biggest mistakes that people do. One must never attach themselves emotionally to a project and must trade as in accordance to market conditions.
There are some real good projects which are at bottom, though a lot many traders dont completely rely on TA in such cases, but instead FA comes more handy..
If the project is fundamentally strong, it will eventually give a reversal boost over the period of time.

Yeah, that's what I believe. TA does not always work with cryptocurrency. Too speculative investment is now managed by whales. But the fundamental analysis is pretty good compared to the TP here. Although here you can not investigate any data such as balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement. Many of the indicators are applicable to inventory are not applicable. So this is also a curious assumption. But it's definitely better than TA. Choose good coins and hold on, this is the best way to invest in crypto.

Simple as you should not be too dependent on it because technical analysis although it can give us a clear view of market trends but sometimes the market will fake signals and if we believe in technical analysis, we will lose money. So we should trade in both ways is technical analysis combined with intuition, should not think intuitively just a gambling game, a trader with many years experience, intuition is always based on a lot of different factors, their intuition is not a joke, it is quite accurate, should not be underestimated. When I trade in the market, I use only a few indicators and most of the solutions actually come from experience, because it is from the experience of charting that you make the decision, really intuition is also involved.
our experience and trading skill give big influence to our trading result.without that factor, we should not to be success in our trading.or even we loss our money.

You know, what is happening now with the market is hard to describe. I believe that now neither analysis nor luck is working, because the market is awfully manipulative at the moment and if you think or see one information on those analyzes, then the market will necessarily go against you and you will lose again. I believe that the maximum that can be done now is to wait for the market to stabilize or to play as a lotto or in a long time.

In such a bearish market, are you making your trading moves by technical analysis or just follow your heart and believe some coin will start to bounce back hardly or something else?
as in any work, I trust only planned analysis, and crypto world is no exception, but on the contrary, only pure Raset works in cryptocurrency, no emotions, if you follow the call of emotions you will invest in the project that you like and if you follow the cold-blooded analysis you will invest in a project that everyone likes and get the maximum profit.

More intuition, but I read many articles every day to know more about crypto and be someone like "expert", it could only help me with decisions about investing into some coin or another.

In the crypto nothing make perfect decision we can just lower our risk like using Technical analysis or whatever. But all the things fail at many points. I used to mainly ETH, BTC or ETH at lower and sell fast when I see some rise. Made much profit in the 2017 but in 2018 not much.  :(

Basing decisions only on intuition transforms trading into gambling. On the other hand, the crypto are so unpredictable in their behavior that the classical technical analysis are of little use. But they are always better than nothing.

trading is you have to read the market situation, so it's not possible to rely on your conscience. Trade is talking about market prices, so we have to use logic to think.

The crypto currency market is revolving which the reason why it hard to describe as you said, and also every crypto trader that want to be successful also have to revolve with it in other to make the require profit. However, the problem that most we crypto trader usually do is sticking a single analysis and it take more than that to get genuine analysis in crypto currency. Concerning the question asked by the OP, luck is the technical to apply in today's crypto currency market but one's must do the require research about the future promising of coin before using the luck logic.

I think there are some people who do technical analysis because it is important if you want to trade on cryptocurrency. And there are also some people who only rely on trust and only see all the possibilities. So it depends on each individual, because there are some who only rely on luck and trust that the coin will rise. I myself only rely on luck because I do not understand analytical techniques for trading on cryptocurrency. That's my opinion.

Current situation on the market is so much unpredictable that technical analysis is not very helpful (only for daily trading maybe).
Intuition is also not a remedy - it looks like more of a lottery where you have to guess which coin will be pumped soon.

I was trade DASH and bought it by price $300 because the price in the bottom already but the price keep down to $140, I was use TA and $300 is the level support already but the price continue down.  In trading all prediction can be wrong and no one prediction is fully accurate, so dont forget to use stop loss to avoided big loss.

Trading is a gamble - the fluctuation seem not be control. It have never been a story that all investors will rich, having winners mean having losers. I think the idiom - "The devil looks after his own" is proper in this case. Let's find out, invest some project by boths technical and intuition - and a bit of luck maybe support for your success.

I believe that it is necessary to conduct technical analysis. Otherwise, the probability of critical and costly mistakes is too high. Analysis should be the basis for decision-making. But there are different versions of the analysis - personally I spend three of them in order to reduce the risks.

To be emotional in trading is strictly prohibited, it s always necessary to conduct a deep analysis of the coins that you trade. If you will follow your heart, you will lose money.

The problem with technical analysis is that the crypto market has been manipulated so much that it's basically impossible to make realistic predictions using traditional financial models.

That being said, you should still do your research on the coin that you're planning to buy, but the price can be a lot more random than what many others might think

I believe that guided by intuition is a wrong decision. This approach will not give investors anything useful, except for mistakes. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct technical analysis in order to reduce possible risks in their work, especially with long-term investments.

Yes, in my work I am guided by several specialized studies. Here at the forum there are different options for assessing the prospects of the project - you can search and choose for yourself the preferred option. But in any case, one should not rely solely on intuition, especially when dealing with long-term investments.

I believe that the analyst always becomes an essential condition for safe and profitable investments. Although, as my experience shows, intuition also sometimes helps to select projects with good potential. But do not be guided only by intuition, since work without analysis can lead to large losses.

No doubt, that is the thing that I accept. TA does not generally work with digital currency. Excessively theoretical venture is currently overseen by whales. Be that as it may, the essential investigation is truly great contrasted with the TP here. Albeit here you can not explore any information, for example, monetary record, wage explanation, income articulation. A considerable lot of the markers are relevant to stock are not pertinent. So this is likewise an inquisitive supposition. Be that as it may, it's unquestionably superior to TA. Pick great coins and hang tight, this is the most ideal approach to put resources into crypto.

I don’t think that why this question has been asked or updated on this page as obviously any of the investment requires some kind of wisdom and intuition are the only guess and cannot be always right so I don’t think that if you wil me get some profit or not if you are investing with your intuition only and not applying your brain and wisdom as what I have been taught when I was a newbie that I have to be very very wise while investing into bitcoin as when to hold my coin or when to sell it.

If only relying on intuition is very stupid, but if you combine your technical analysis and intuition this is good. The main thing is technical analysis, because here we cannot choose at random, but your knowledge and analysis are needed. And after that you can add a little of your intuition.

make your researches

Even when we are not in a bearish or bloodbathed markets, it is never a good idea to invest based on personal intuition. Investment decisions are critical and they should be done with utmost care through proper and adequate research to know what you are actually going into.
