Last 2 days I bought for about some cheap coins and it went down for about 5% or something and I decided to sell. And now, I am at full regret that all of those coins are now up for about 20%. My lesson for that is to be patient since the market was down for some day and it will always go back up.

He has already started to return gradually, so that everyone is in the same hopes as you are. Well, on the other hand, even if it falls again, it will not surprise us, but will give us an excuse to buy more.

Last few days really someone for good time someone for for bad time becuase of price fall. if that time any one can any good coin right now that coin return starting . btc now recovering own price side by side all altr price also increasing . so personally  i think keep faith on your investment and coin because its proven longterm investor they are always gainer.

LOL, man, 5% is nothing on cryptomarket. 20% is not big result too. You should make some order for fixing your profit (+25%,+50%,+100%) and forget about it.

regret definitely came at the end. this is a lesson for you to be more patient in acting. preferably before you choose to sell, pay attention to the details of a coin, surely every coin has the advantage and the mission of the future to be achieved. although it is very long, but to get the desired results, then we must be patient in acting. hopefully you are more careful again

Regret is the worse case in this daily life. If you buy some coins and that coins have potential to grow better keep it and treasure it, even if the value is increase just be patience it will increase again. Until the coins of yours reach the limit. Because you're (idiot) if you buy cheap and sell it more cheaper right? Weak hands will be fall.

If you choose promising coins, then why sell? Now very low prices for many coins, so the most appropriate thing is to buy promising coins and hodl them in a long time. If the coin is really good, then sooner or later it will bring profit.

your lesson is that next time you need to act much faster and never let things go by without paying close attention to the market. trading altcoins is not something you can do half-assed. it needs dedication and spending a lot of time.
for example in this case you bought and prices fell, you sold at 5% loss which is a very good decision because it is a nice stop loss and a wise move.
then things changed all of a sudden and prices started to move. now your mistake is here. your mistake was not buying back when you saw the reversal. what you needed to do was to buy back on the way up (assuming you are right about the 20% rise) and then enjoy part of that rise like 15%  or 10% of it and dump on top to get that profit out.

What you need to do is set yourself some profit targets if you are a day trader. Say you want to make at least 3-10% profit when you are trading coins on a day to day basis. I do not day trade much myself to be quite honest as I prefer to invest in projects for the longer term and receive some gains either in revenues or when a coin reaches a certain target price. I hope from this you have learned a lot and we all learn through our mistakes and experiences. My mistake was that I did not sell my coins at ATH and now waiting for next bull cycle to start.  :D

Try to buy a coin, that you truly support, Like for example, you buy a coin that you really doesn't believe in, so if it drops, you will panic.
Try to have some faith in your coin so that you will not be depressed if this coin start to go up again.

in the bitcoin investment world. must have patience and never give up because bitcoin prices, often change in every day. and for now, I will not sell the coin, I will save until next year.

I think you have a lot of experience about trade and investment.
I personally have a lot of altcoin that I buy from the exchange or the result of investing in ico. besides that i have altcoin from bounty award. and to this day, I still hold it almost 50% down from the previous asset. I know, this is very detrimental. but I decided to keep it, though it took me a long time to get back to normal. but at least, I always try to learn every development.

This is exactly how I`ve lost my first 500$ when I first started investing "trading".
But i consider that money that I lost money spent on my education toward crypto investments and taught me that I am not ready to do trading and that the game is more complicated than it seems. I even was so stupid to sell at a 30% loss because I panic.

We don't know the price for tomorrow as crypto will surprised us everyday. You should set your limits when to sell your coins, bearish trend is a test on how strong is your faith on that coins. Don't be panic as 5% dropped is a little to sell your coins. Anyways there's many coins to come and hope that you've learned from that actions and apply to your next investment.

Before investing in a coin you need to do your own research and once you trust the coin enough you need to invest in it and forget about your investment. Now don't look at its prices again and again as your are going to panic once you see a sudden drop in prices. Thats just a way for whales to make you panic and sell your hodlings to them.

The cryptomarket is very volatile. Do not pay attention to the growth or fall of 20%. It is important to buy good promising coins and keep it in a safe vault. And faith will help not to sell them for a pittance.

If you are trading and putting a cut loss on your trades will it fine if you know how to recover your losses on your next trade but if you don't have the strategy to do so, will its better to hold it and wait for it to grow than to sell it with loss because eventually coins will bounce back after a dump.

Not all Crypto coins that you hold are worth it, there's a time that are worthless. And don't forget before you hold a coins you should know on what of kinds that, and if they have a great potential.

You're right. Also as I know it's better to keep your coins for a long period (about a year) but people should also mention that some coins are good for day trading only.

In the market, crypto currency must be able to wait. If you bought coins at the bottom, you need to wait until their price rises. This may not happen immediately. The coin can drop a little more in price and then sharply go to the top. Therefore if you have coins bought at good prices, then just wait and you will definitely get your profit.

Sunday (18MAR) was a really good entry point for several coins (ETH was down at 450$ for example)

Volatility in the market is just how the system flow and the small percentage that you'd said which is 5% decrease and the 20% increase is actually  just a normal flow of it's fluctuations. In this field we need to be much wiser , smarter and has a better strategy for us to be able to make a good decisions making.It is true that regret is always in the end, therefore we need to be careful in our decision. Think many times before we act. Always remember patience is always key to success.

Just let emotions go somehow. I'm not an experienced trader and I'm not buying and selling frequently, rather holding until I get my profit out. Actually, I think I never sold anything at lost, even I could buy something else and profit. I prefer holding because it is easier and safer option for me.

Just a couple of months ago I just did the same as you did, bought and saw as the price fell, I immediately had a panic and I started selling everything. Now I realized that this market is too unstable. And you need to be always more patient.

I hope you already learned from your mistakes by selling your coins quickly just because the value decrease. 5% changes is just a small changes compared to the dip before so i think its just normal. And this is the golden rule in crypto currency investment and trading, be patient, dont panic and HODL!.

that is what traders call panic sell. it's a bad attitude being traders. Patience is number one rules in trading, if not, regret is number one result, probably. you should learn fluctuation and portofolio of coins' price, then you'll find that risk is a normal thing in trading that you have to accept.

we have a difficult situation in a few months ago because the market cannot be predicted and sometimes we have a mistake in makes analysis so we cannot make a profit. but for now, I think in a few next weeks we can see that the market will increase again and we can sell our coin so we can make a profit again. and in this situations, it is better to be patient for a while and only sell if you are sure that you don't lose too much and don't make a fast selling, just try to make analysis first.

This is an sector where you need strong nerves and a lot of patience, you can not work miracles in two days. I can advise you to buy a cryptocurrency if the project is of value and you like it, and not to think about selling it after a few days, but in the medium to long term as I always do

Well not always, if it went even more down, you would be grateful to yourself that you have sold them and thought you have done a great job, that you didn't keep them! Imagine bitcoin for example, people were buying at 15000$ and they were positive it will hit 30000$, then the bitcoin went to 6000$ and stays under 10000$, their only wish right now, to sell at 15000$ and return their own hard earned money, without any profit! Trade on markets is very hard work and a beautiful peace of art and story with ups and downs 

but if that person could have a faith that bitcoin will increase higher again, then he doesn't need to feel regret because of the price is down too deep. he need to wait more and more and never think that he cannot sell at the highest price because I am sure that the higher price will come soon. doing trading is really difficult and need good effort to still waiting for the price but once we succeeded waiting the price is up again, then we can easy to sell our coin again.

True. Selling when the market is red and is experiencing bearish trend is not a wise thing to do. It’s always better to keep buying crypto coins in each dips part by part and sell when the market recovers and sees a bullish trend. Always keep buying in dips and keep selling in pumps.

Its basic rule that buy coins when other people are selling and sell your coins when other people are buying. By doing so and being patient, you will always be in profit no market the market is crashing or seeing bullish trend.

In crypto we don't always get those 50%+ result and finding coins makes those type of profit very difficult, also 5% is nothing really i mean if you spent 10k 5%=500.

I feel you, last year i sell my bitcoin for 15k because i got too excited with the value of bitcoin and also panic at the same time sacred that it will go down the value. then aftern few days boom it increase to 20k$ im very dissapointed. i learned my lesson so right now i don't focus on the price of bitcoin, i focus on my goal.

Well, surely you are not the first one to make such mistake. All new traders and investors usually make the same mistake of panic selling their investments just because market crashes a bit. Always remember some basic rules of crypto market :
1.   Only invest amount you can afford to lose.
2.   Never sell in lose no matter how much market crashes.
3.   Buy low and sell high.
4.   Hold your coins until you see gains because you are never really in loss until you sell your holdings.
5.   Buy when other people are selling and sell when other people are buying.
6.   Always keep patience while trading and investing in crypto market.

When you buy coins on the exchange you need to consider that they can fall. It is almost impossible to buy on the very bottom. It's also for me a good lesson - to be patient and trust yourself, but on the other hand you need to be able to change positions sometimes if the market starts to change a lot.

You need to trade by the system with exact risk/profit. Before you bought you must decide when to sell in both ways growth or falling. When you are hodling it can be more than 5% profit if hadn't fixed.

yes it may be discussed in belief I think it does require a strong conviction to ensure altcoin that we get is good or can provide great benefits for us and besides that to get satisfactory results we must be patient to wait for it to the value we expect because the core patience of investors while making a detention.

True. 5% down is nothing if your are investing in crypto market that is the most volatile market among all other asset markets. I had invested in January month of this year 2018 and my portfolio currently is down more than 60%. Still I haven’t sold even a small part of my coins.

I am holding my coins past 3 months and will continue holding until I earn significant profit from them. Patience is all you need, cause you never know what you 5% loss will turn into 100% profit or even more. So just HODL.

True. It’s better to invest for long term instead of short term if you are not good at trading of coins and predicting the movement of the crypto market. Just research and find 3-5 potential coins that have hard working team, utility in the market and good roadmap and diversify your investment in those 3-5 coins and hold for at least a year or so to gain significant profit on your initial investment. Invest for long term and you have no need to worry about dips in the crypto market because you know sooner or later your coins will recover and rise.

and if 5% down, we can expect to reach more than 20% of the minimum profit if the price increase together. I am sure once every coin increase together, we can see that our profit will bigger than our lost and we can make a lot of money from the cryptocurrency. and like you said, the best thing that we can do right now is just waiting for the price is back to increase and if we still have another budget, we can buy back that coin and we can hold it until the price increase again.

Well you can still do day trading as long as you know what your are doing and not to greedy and exit at the right moment. However, we really know for a fact that in order to maximize your gains, we somewhat need a lot of patience and hold on bitcoin for as long as we can.

Consider yourself lucky. You have learned the most valuable lesson in Crypto. Never sell in panic. Always keep some fiat set aside for times of panic sell offs for buying. Getting a good low buy on things is most important because then you can hold easier through sell offs. If you buy high it is very hard to weather a big sell off. Concentrate on making great buys and you will come to love sell offs for the buying opportunities.

Yes that's true you need faith on the coins that it will rise to a higher value. I seen most coins now had down for 70% from their peak price and the market seems still on a bearish trend. We need to be patient to wait as this will takes enough time to recover the price.
