So yeah I give some pointers if you invest or buy tokens in an ICO. If you invest you might earn here but you have to wait because the ICO has its process for everything but when you invest here its on you because in an ICO you have to make a a lot of thinking because sometimes ICO go to secession and sometimes not but you still earn small but it depends on the ICOs team.

holding that I think you are talking about the help up thingy your saying. So holding, when holding you take risk because sometimes its really sad for example you buy bitcoin worth 4000 USD and later it goes down and down and small time to increase but still it depends on the market. So when holding dont panic dont sell it just wait and wait to sky rocket.

What token is that? If the token that you recently recieve has the potential to grew up well then it is better to hold it cause it might give you bigger profits as reward for hodling it.

What tokens do you mean?

Always follow their road-map progress, if there is nothing improvement or out of schedule then that tokens will not stuck, will not attrack any investor more. I seen some tokens are show up on market for speculation only, so if you think that will having value in next some months still then hold it, but otherwise just sell it asap.

Im assuming you received your coins from Bounties.
If the coin your holding now have a good potential in the near future then its better to HODL one-half of them and sell the other half. In that case you earn some profits and you still hold the remaining half.
But if that coin has not a good potential return, better to sell them all now to get your profits. Hold only good potential coins.

Some project rewarding tokens sometimes do a suicidal move they doesn't even think about to their investors , when it become listed to exchange site some do it for the purpose of will be earned profit, but if that token has the owner of making it as a good coin then the best thing to do is HODL,  if your are confused, sell 50% of it and then HODL the 50% so that you can make it balance while the token is running.

I they are ERC-20 tokens then they will probably only be listed on etherdelta and forkdelta. If they get listed on main exchanges then value should increase as volume of trade increases.

This is very important for any coin to get listed on major exchanges so that the value of the coin goes up. Else listing on smaller is not worthy and it means the life of the coin is generally for shorter duration and not the coin for the years to hold type.

First you have to make sure, that you are able to sell it. Not every token automatically can be sold on at least one exchange.

Which coin you are talking on? Since you havent mentioned on what coin you are holding because we do all know that there are thousands of coins in the market and we dont even know on what coin you are holding which cant really make a suggestion if you would hold it for long term or sell it already. Coins do classified on two things, the potential ones and the crappy ones. If you hold up not so special coins then you can opt out on selling it as long its on profits then its a very good thing to be done.If you are holding a good coin then holding it on for long term is also a good choice.

It all depends on how promising this token is. But you can not guess it now) I think that part of the tokens can be sold and the rest are left for hodling. With no information it's hard to give you advice. First of all you have to learn about the project, study the whitepaper and ask yourself: is this coin useful? Can it have a future?
Then you should also check the current price and compare it with the price of the past.
There are many considerations in order to sell or hold airdrop tokens.

This depends on your situation.  There are two main questions here:  do you believe in the project and do you need the funds? 

If you believe in the project long term then I would hold for 6 months to a year to realize the value.  Investments are long term. 

If you need the money than that is a different matter however if you expect the investment to increase a lot in value its better to try to raise the money another way. 

One piece of advice is before participating in any bounty program or investment is to make sure you believe in the project so you aren't tempted to see it.  There were a lot of people who bought BTC at $200, $1000, etc that wish they held but didn't for various reasons.  Make sure this doesn't happen to you.

Sometimes im coming to a point or situation where i do really need money which even those potential coins that im holding would really end up on getting sold because of such need.It cant really be avoided since its our money after all then theres no need to regret later on since those funds are being used into other important things rather than on losing it to other means like gambling or being hacked or being used into useless things.

My advice gan if you have got the coin should not be directly sold and input in VIP bitcoin to be developed more and will add the results of his coin as well.

I think before answering your question, we need to know how much in-depth research have you done on the ICO before buying OR you just bought it through some hear say rumors about them going to the moon.

My criteria of a good ICO is that:
1. It must be an existing business for a few years with a good model, and have even bigger feasible plans for the reason of doing an ICO.
2. Team composition and advisors are next that I look at, idea can be great but without a strong team, it wouldn't give me sufficient confidence that their plans can be executed without delays, that is if it's ever executed.
3. Next thing would be how unique their business plans are, I realised many ICOs are basically copying ideas from existing businesses, tweek abit and calling it theirs, hence it comes back to the point of why it must be a running business for at least a couple of years.

Generally speaking if you receive a token it depends on you if you want to sell it right away when it got listed in an exchanges but ask yourself, why do you want to sell it right away? Is there an immediate need for the money or you think the token you received have no future and price will just drop after being listed. In my case I received an airdrop of IGNIS, when IGNIS was listed in Bittrex price dropped to 50% and now its below $1.00, a far cry from its former price of $2.50. I still hold on to it and believe in the developers as they provide constant update on their project.

I always do a research on coins, especially the ones I get. Even then it's hard to decide what to do. I wouldn't recommend selling. Only if particular coin got pumped and it will lose some value later. But you need to track the development and forum. Holding is the best option because you can get better value later for received coins.

I think you should keep it if the price has not risen dramatically, if you sell at a low price maybe you will get regret, but if the price goes up, usually the price goes up the first 3 weeks selling time, and you have to sell it quickly.

If you don't believe it is going to gain value, you should sell.

I will tell you my experience about one of my bounty token. I have received a token which was only worth $0.0001, it's just a shit token, right? With such low price like that, i'd prefer to hold it. 6 months later, i sold all my token because the price reached $0.001 (10 times higher) and got some nice profit, but you know what happened in the next month? This token reached it's ATH at $0.1 and i regretting to sell my token too early

Many bounty hunters will be selling because they sometimes know that the ICOs that they participated in is not really worth it so they rush off to sell quickly so they won't be losing anything either. But in the case where by a bounty hunter participate in an outstanding and good ICO, then its better to hold that coin without selling it and wait for it to pump or moon.

And what happen when i decide to hold? All the orice are stricly down and down again. I feel the coin is promising but why its just crashed? Headache

If I was a rich person, I would spend a month to select good tokens and coins, spend another month to choose an ICO or two to invest in,,,, do all of that in month three. Set sell order targets for whichever he wants to,,, And then just continue doing my work and life, and come back only after one year, and do that every time. But if you join the token sale in any ico, better to hold it since the token that you buy of course you feel it the best. With the best coin then it can increase value in the future.

At first you need to check to know that project behind this token is good or not :). If it's a good project I think the best option is holding. Beside no need to know there is a good project behind this token or not but selling right after you received is the worst idea ever :). Don't ever do that if you're a bounty hunter :)

When I was new in crypto field same happend with me but now all things are going well you know you can hold that coin if that have good potential and sell in parts like when you get 2000 coins at the price of 10 cents and coin price hike up then you can sell 1000 coins on 20 cents and 1000 on 30 cents with this trick you can profit more. Do not be confused to sell your token, you just need to study and check for the value of it so that you will gain a good profit. In selling your coin you just need to look for the reviews of it and the rating of the coin, you can all read some threads here in bitcointalk to know if it is good to sell already. But if not you can hodl it and wait for the good value of the coin so that you will gain profit but if the coin is in your wallet for about 2 - 3 months then maybe the quantity of the coin is few maybe because only few who have invested or it is not known yet in the market. You just need to patient to have the coin a good profit. Like me some of the coins that I got in the airdrops has no value yet and some have but I still patiently waiting for the price to pump.

I think all token from bounty just for invest and holding. So you can waiting news from dev about that token / always follow news about that token, to decide what next step for that token. If  i am, i always invest it or hold it about 6 month at least , and looking for exchange's news who want except that token. Or maybe you can covert it to other coin, if you want to short terms.

I think it is depends of your own decision it you want to sell it look for the availability of the token if where exchange it is being listed. The most common advice here would be sell already because most of these new tokens after they released it, the developers and the investors would dump it already. So that they could the hyped price already while leaving the hodlers minimum price left.
