Trading : Is an act buying or selling aka Trade.

Advantage : you can get a profit daily.
Disadvantage : your emotion will be unstable because you need to look at it daily and at the same time protecting your capital.

Day trading means your executing a buy and its corresponding sell on the same day.  Day traders are usually looking to ride the swings of the day by looking at the charts and trying to predict what the lows will be be and what the highs will be.  This does come with a lot of risk though.  The trends never last that long and you could end up stuck at a position just because the price jumped in a direction you did not expect it to.

Now you know what it is, but you need to know that day trading is not easy for most of the people. I advise you first to get into the usual trading or long term trading as we call it, just to feel the whole thing. After you get some experience you could do this one too if you like it.

When I started trading forex, I'd day trade and after 6 months I downloaded my history in a CSV file to see why was I slowly losing money. It turned out my gross profit/loss was very close to 0 even with the margin considered, but the fees of my many trades put me into loss.

My advice if you want to try day trading... go to the same direction you'd go if you were to hold for long term, then if you get some profit by the end of the day, reduce your position. If it does not go your way, well... you'd hold this position for long term right? So don't take the loss if you know what you're doing.

If you have enough time for trading I think day trading is better because you can earn alot in few minutes or hours if the crypto currency you buy has moving up and down continuously, the disadvantage would be if you buy at high price and it became dump and never pump again on that day.

doesn't matter actually if you have some strategy on how you manage the bankroll , for example yesterday you lost $50 and in the next day you get $100 and by the end of your trading calendar , you have successfully make $50 profit a day. the point here to actively trading through the day , having a bankroll management are a plus but i personally considered it as an important role to trade properly not randomly.

Day trading means you buy altcoin or Bitcoin in one day and sell altcoin or Bitcoin after they have risen a bit. But this is a method I recommend you should not join. You may lose more money than you earn in a day

Day trading mean that you will place buy/sell order daily to get profit. The advantage of day trading is that you can get profit daily and may be more than holding. But to get profit, you have to learn about charts, analysis news, .... if you don't want to lost more than what you get. ;D

Regarding getting a profit or not, it certainly depends on the picked coins, whether it really has the potential for daily trading. Also, you should think about it first before trying day trading if you will be emotionally and mentally prepared for the uncertainties that come along in predicting the market. Also day trading is frustrating , and could gives you a hard time , because of sharp movements of market , a good day trader is the one whom closes all of his/her orders by the end of the day , and if you could close all of them with profits , your very good!
