Title: How stable is Bitcoin.
Post by: kache2018 on April 05, 2018, 03:43:34 PM
Entering month of April, we are seeing the gradual increment on bitcoin's value. This leads to me this question, How stable is bitcoin? What are the factors indicating its constant movement aside from the fact that compared from the last years its value was unfathomable in a financial sense but sudden drops oppressing lots of investors. What sort of deem of hope to investors not to become disoriented and eventually selling there btc shares as its value decrease. What do you think guys?

compared from the last years its value was unfathomable in a financial sense
if you could "fathom" the rise of last year, specially the last month when there was about 100% rise in less than month then you should also "fathom" the current drop in the same "financial sense"!

but sudden drops oppressing lots of investors.
drops, whether sudden or gradual, only "oppresses" investors who were thinking price can always go up and only those who think rising price is the only way of making profit.

someone who needs "hope" to hold on to, or invest in bitcoin shouldn't even be holding or investing in bitcoin.

I agree with the other parts of your post, but not here.

"Hope" could be seen as a special kind of "confidence" in the "value proposal" of Bitcoin. I consider this kind of confidence to be essential for an asset that wants to be a currency.

At some moment in time, we will need to develop some kind of value theory for Bitcoin. That will "stabilize" the price in the sense that it becomes more predictable. I have hope that with the advent of Lightning and other methods that make Bitcoin more usable for real-world payments, we will have an easier job to develop such a value theory because "trading it for goods" connects Bitcoin to the "real economy".

To the OP: If you are interested in the evolution of Bitcoin's stability, you should look at the Bitvol Index (https://bitvol.info/). In short: Bitcoin's stability was gradually improving until the end of 2016, but then it increased again with the last crazy bubble. In 2018 we're seeing another decrease.

I guess that in periods where Bitcoin is used as a means of payment - mostly in bear markets - the stability improves, while in periods where most people buy it to speculate - mostly in bull markets/bubbles - volatility increases.

In April I am still very confident that bitcoin will show a high price Although sometimes the price suddenly decreased drastically just a test for traders to keep trying to be patient and definitely never to panic. In order to anticipate the occurrence of major losses later.

I believe bitcoin is very stable. With the previous dropping of value it would have really colapsed if it was not rooted very well.since  january this  worst at month february it has started to rise again my middle of March.  If this cryptocurrency was not strong enough it could have desolve evenon it's early years where it has either no value or at very less value.

I don't see any signs of recovery. Where do you see them? In March, the price was $ 12,000. Now the price is about 7000 dollars. Is that what you call growth signs? Trust is easy to lose but very hard to restore. I don't like whales but it seems to me that without their help bitcoin will be very difficult to restore growth.

Yes bitcoin has not stability in many times so you think bitcoin will go and die but it is not like that you will need experience in this stagr so you can wait for sometimes it will change into normal .

For me its looks like we really need one positive news that will bring back the confidence and renewed the interest of the investors to pump new money in the ecosystem so that they will not think of offloading this because they have somewhat lose their faith on the market.

Yes, there is still hope like Lightning Network. If this scalable solution be implemented, I think it will be the new catalyst for the market to bounce back at least to the 5 digits again and swayed more investors to the market.

I think the bitcoin still not recovered. so the bitcoin value is not yet stable. if you want to see and identify bitcoin movements, then you should look at all aspects that affect the crypto world. so you can compare the bitcoin value every year.

not much we must do today. when the correction condition then buys or hold is a good choice. and selling is a bad choice.

bitcoin values will only be stable if the natural correction is over. I mean is when in a correction condition, then there is still a chance for bitcoin to drop again drastically.

G20 has made us calm because they support bitcoin and also they see that bitcoin chart will be stable starting mid this year.

The power of bitcoin is decentralization. Bitcoin does not belong to any centralized banking system, so it is stable.

There seem to still be a demand and out of all the crypto it is still the most widely-supported so IMHO it's still stable, in the meantime.

drops, whether sudden or gradual, only "oppresses" investors who were thinking price can always go up and only those who think rising price is the only way of making profit.

I suppose he's more of a trader and missed the chance to sell at the height? Hodlers aren't usually bothered by this since they know that even with prices fluctuating, the price still increases if you look at it an annual basis rather than weekly.

What kind of stability can we talk about? Bitcoin is absolutely unstable. Today it costs $ 9,000, tomorrow $ 15,000, and the day after tomorrow$5,000. And what kind of stability can we talk about in this area?!

This has always been the case and we are used to it. But this time it could be different. Previously, capital did not leave the cryptocurrency market. When the price of bitcoin falling market appeared the coin which has been growing in price. Now it is not. All altcoins are showing a steady decline. This is a bad signal.

That is right. Bitcoins are billion worth coins that are doing amazing. This incredible coin have made the whole world amazed with their charm and charismatic characteristics. And as far as stability of the bitcoins are concerned, they are really and highly unstable coins. They don’t stick to one point, rather just keep on going higher and lower with passage of time. Really they are fantastic.

Nothing in crypto market is stable since everything is highly dependent on the investors' end. So expect that sometimes prices can fall badly just like this first quarter of 2018. On the other, a good comeback will certainly happen. Just ride with the flow.

Bitcoin is not in anyway a stable currency or asset for that matter. This is because there was never a price tag placed on bitcoin when it was created which means at any given time the value of bitcoin is fluctuating and would never be in a single position. Bitcoin is a volatile asset and prices changed regularly and this is how investors make money from it due to the fluctuating prices.

It is not. In fact, Bitcoin is the most volatile crypto in the market. So you can turn to other cryptos in the market to invest as putting investments in Bitcoin is not affordable as well as it's volatile nature can lead to a huge loss of money. Always look for alternatives. Visit: New Cryptocurrency (http://"https://www.streethawkcoin.com/home/") | Crypto Exchange (http://"https://www.streethawkcoin.com/home/")

Honestly bitcoin will never be stable and have to embrace that fact. It's a digital currency so you must expect that at any moment the price will change. It may go low or high depends upon the situation but we must stick with it. Whether if it's good or bad bitcoin needs our support. Fluctuations of prices cannot be removed from bitcoin.

Bitcoin is highly unstable and it is unpredictable. One must exercise caution and do proper research before investing in these business. There is 100% percent of losing your investment, at the same time exponential growth is also predictable. Additionally, start with small then gradually grow your base in the cryptocurrency world.

To answer your query, stability doesn't figuratively mean fluctuation of bitcoin's value. By any means stability is a critical part to success since it shows the capacity to go forward without bounderies. Stabililty is a vital source for dependence of each investors knowing bitcoin's value is safe despite of its fluctuation.

Although the analysis of market capitalization is relatively relative, this phenomenon indicates that net inflows to the crypto market are virtually nonexistent. Therefore, many investors sell their altcoin and switch to bitcoin. Most likely - the reason they do this is so they can get another coin if the SegWit2x hard fork actually happens in November. So now they are many who buy bitcoin. In our opinion, an increase in bitcoin exchange rate without a new cash flow in the crypto market-will make bitcoin price stability unwarranted. At the time of this review, BTC was trading at $ 5,697.

Bitcoin isn't in at any rate a steady cash or resource so far as that is concerned. This is on the grounds that there was never a sticker price put on bitcoin when it was made which implies at any given time the estimation of bitcoin is fluctuating and could never be in a solitary position. Bitcoin is an unpredictable resource and costs changed consistently and this is the manner by which financial specialists profit from it because of the fluctuating costs.

The word “stable” is not applicable to Bitcoin. They don’t like each other. Maybe it will change later when mass adoption and integration of crypto activities and services will be in out daily lives (banking, shopping, travelling, transportation, insurance, etc.)

What you need in bitcoin is couraged and risk taking attitude for it to be more steady and stable so that its value will no longer goes down.

The continous adoption of bitcoin of other countries like Japan and other huge companies that allow and considered bitcoin as a medium of exchange. Making bitcoin a lot more stable.
A currency for people who wants to avail or buy stuff without the involvement of a third party. This causes bitcoin to be widely accepted as payments for such needs.
Because certain transactions seems "illegal in nature".
A lot of people are still using it for the purpose of anonymity, no matter what the trading price is, it is continually used as a medium of exchange and for trading over the internet.

If we are talking about stability it cannot be apply to bitcoin or cryptocurrency generally. It is not the nature of bitcoin to be stable so any investor should not believe that bitcoin will be stable, just know that it can appreciate or depreciate at any time depending on demand, news and events.

This is just how the cryptocurrency market could best be describe as bitcoin is often not so stable. What is stable is its instability. Really hard to understand but this is the case really for bitcoin. It is volatile. The only thing I could think of for people not to lose hope on bitcoin is to study it and analyze how it works so that they will know when will bitcoin have a good progress and when it is not. Predictions are good, though may not always be correct but it helps a lot for investors. Good predictions may come from long and varied experiences. And this is what we need.

As months passed we saw bitcoin price grow and slightly stable at this moment and this is a good news to us all. It may have volatile but bitcoin still managed to overcome it thanks to investors who put venture into it and also give credits to all countries who trusted and adapted bitcoin into their government.

I think that the reason for these sudden fluctuations in Bitcoin is investors who invest in the short term. Most investors invested at $ 6K and did not miss out on the opportunity. But because of the negative news on Bitcoin, these investors are upset. Now Bitcoin is over $ 9K. This level brings good profit to investors. At these levels insecure investors are withdrawing.
In order for Bitcoin to continue on its path, the negative air must disappear. This requires more investors. These investors must be long-lived ...
Bitcoin is having a hard time now. But it will not last long. You should not leave.

Just wait for autumn and I believe BTC  will be over 20k again  ;) Now it's just a temporal drop due to whales selling and getting rich at a pace which still cannot be outdone by new people getting into crypto, but it will eventually turn around.  Fake news and fud also plays a role though  :D

Yes, I also believe that bitcoin can be 20k USD again, maybe not now but I'm sure soon, let us wait the couple of months and let see again if what happen to the price of bitcoin.

instability and bitcoin price reduction factors are usually caused by negative issues with bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. it causes investors to panic and sells their entire assets so bitcoin has decreased greatly.

From last two weeks it has been extremely stable. There has been no extreme variation in the price and has maintained itself around 9200-9800$. Very positive signs indeed.
Bitcoin cash has shown some phenomenal growth though. It is around 1300-1500$ and has increased 2x post dip

Well, while bitcoin is stable, many people still think that this price increase is due to a small speculative demand and that after a while bitcoin will continue its decline again, but we believe that it is not.
indeed bitcoin prices are now starting to increase, although it is not too fast, and the decline is certainly happening in bitcoin prices, if it is said stable bitcoin prices certainly can not if I think, every second bitcoin prices can rise and suddenly could decrease, so in the crypto world I do not think there's anything stable, but I expect that bitcoin prices will rise even higher, and for investors who buy bitcoins at high prices should stay calm and be patient to wait for the bitcoin price rise again.

We wont see the price getting stable noe, it would take longer time to see it stabilized. But seeing how the track goes, its simply ahows that it is doing well and there is really a goof future for it. It won't get stable until the majority are already unto it. Dropping is alright, this would only mean that there is something bitcoin has to imprpve.

In the last few days crypto market presents a very interesting development. Bitcoin (BTC) prices rose to $ 5,920 on Oct. 15 on the Bitfinex stock exchange, and so the bitcoin market capitalization had risen to nearly $ 100 billion (based on coinmarketcap data). This is a new record and almost 24% higher than the record as of Sept 2 ago, at which time the capitalization of digital currency flagman only reached $ 81 billion. However, the total capitalization of all publicly traded crypto currencies can not update the record September 2 at $ 179.45 billion, and was only able to print $ 176.72 billion.

Bitcoin can never be stable.  It's just part of it characteristics that makes it easy for investors who don't have the money to invest when the price is high. Besides, the constant manipulation from whales can also cause the price fluctuation and instability.  And also trading cryptocurrency just like stock can cause the price to be unstable because when too much traders sell, the price dips, if it does the other way, it pumps.

Soon the month of April will end, the increase in bitcoin value and bitcoin decline occurred in April this and it becomes fair in the market with the movement of value up and down. so in my opinion the expectation of investors will continue to expect to profit from market behavior that tends to rise and fall it, and hope if the rise has a high value and if there is a decrease in value expecting down the value is deep enough to have a difference from what they plant so they get the difference from that value

I think it is ironic to say that Bitcoin is stable since we all know the volatility characteristic of it. I think what you want to imply is that consistent rise up or the rate of rising up. No one can say that we believed that what is happening today is just the correction. We are still hoping that BTC will rise up like a rocket ship, and when that time comes. That is the right time to sell what we hodl for the longest time.

Bitcoin is not stable but the value of it is high enough. Even if the price fluctuates, the price is still high and depreciates quite low. Bitcoin is unstable right now but the value of it remains higher. Nothing is stable even stocks is not stable. Bitcoin is way more stable than stocks and the value of it is low while the bitcoin is very high.

We are in the early phase of development and it expecting stability at this point is not a wise idea. Bitcoin won't remain stable for a larger time scale because of the several reasons like lack of maturity and hence wise decision making as per the market movements, the role of big whales and institutional investors etc. Considering the potential of Bitcoin and scope for the growth, the price will keep rising in my opinion but there are some issues on which we must find concrete solutions for the long run.

Unfortunately, I think we can not expect a stable value from bitcoin and the crypto market. Impacts earlier this year, ending with the G20 and Mtgox, could push the bitcoin price to a low of $ 6k5. But the quick bitcoin has nice sound at the same price of 8k. Fluctuations remain at 8k-9k then follow a natural habit from the market. I think the bitcoin value continues to increase and volatility will never stop. The reason, decentralized supply, and external influences will always fluctuate bitcoin prices.

With respect to bitcoin, stability can only be talked about in the long term. Indeed, all these years the price of bitcoin is rising. All drop rates can be seen as a correction of growth. These falling prices have been and will be. This happens in all markets. No need to panic about it.

Bitcoin can never be stable because of it speculative nature. It always react to the market sentiments. The price will continue to go up and down within a price range. Like since second week of April we have been between the price range of $8K-$9K plus. We can say that there is uptrend indicating by bitcoin.

This, I tell you, if you are looking for stability, I am 100% certain that Bitcoin is not for you. Bitcoin is definitely NOT stable no matter how slow the decline or increment is- make no mistake about this. Sometimes, yes, it does have the likes of stability especially so that the movement has gone mainstream for a week now plus the fact that whenever the market moves, the changes aren't that substantial. But you see, if you are into it fully, you will realize that most of the time you will benefit from its heavy fluctuations. As to why, of course because your earnings with it balloon all of a sudden.

It only plays between $8.8K to $9.2K during the past several weeks. Particulary, maybe some are not taking it seriously and did not look unto it as a bad or even a big deal. It is part of bitcpin that could not be taken out of the frame from where it is now. Some people argue that Bitcoin still holds a value like Gold or a type of currency to transact around the world. Still at an early stage to determine. In other words, now they do not think that it has gold stability or its use as currency because this currency is not a widely used currency

I don't think that bitcoin will stay at a stable price because of its volatility and fluctuation of price is very normal in bitcoin market. If whales starts to move again then expect that the price will pump again and it will rise the price to $10,000 up! They are the the ones who manipulate the cryptocurrency world especially bitcoin due to its limited supply unlike the fiat money that has bigger supply than bitcoin. It will not make to a stable price ever.

Bitcoin isn't in at any rate a steady cash or resource so far as that is concerned. This is on the grounds that there was never a sticker price put on bitcoin when it was made which implies at any given time the estimation of bitcoin is fluctuating and could never be in a solitary position. Bitcoin is an unstable resource and costs changed routinely and this is the means by which financial specialists profit from it because of the fluctuating costs.

Well, I think its the fomo that can really make a difference. Even when people know that it is time to sell, they will not because they fear that they might miss out. While others panic sell because they fear of losing more and are afraid of the fuds that they get to read and hear everyday. But all in all, it is the dreams and the goals that will really keep a man holding his bitcoins.

In my opinion, bitcoin is not stable at all, and that is actually a good thing most especially to traders. This down thread of most cryptocurrencies in my opinion is a good thing, because its in this time that we can buy more coins to hold and wait for it bring us profit, selling wouldnt be my option even though bitcoins price is going down, if I sell my coins I would just be selling them in a lower price and I wouldnt like that to happen.

Honestly, no one knows what is the future of bitcoin or how well will it behave in the market, the bitcoin's value and stableness is very unpredictable, but for me, in my opinion, I know bitcoin will bounce back because it was on dip on the past few months, hopefully it will become more stable and will have a greater value in the market, I know bitcoin is going there already. Just be patient and believe in the name of bitcoin.

All the charm of bitcoin is precisely its stability, but its stability is very different from the standard understanding of stability. BTC is stable in its volatility, it from year to year surprises everyone with its growth and fall.
In general the concept of stability is very relative. The main thing is that there is an opportunity to earn excellent money.

I will answer this question in two answers,  depending on the two meaning.  It is stable in a sense that it is really improbable for someone to remove bitcoin because of its decentralisation.  Another answer is that it is not stable in a sense that bitcoin is very volatile which actually an opportunity for investors to earn money in a long time investing.

I think bitcoin is stable in creating profit because it is volatile in price. We can buy bitcoin in a low price and sell it when the price getting higher. It is also a decentralized currency so that it can't be affected in other centralized currency. The price of bitcoin affected by some bad news and market demand. But bitcoin can't be stable in prices.

Just keep the positive ambiance about bitcoin if we all want a good profit. Getting rid of bitcoin world is a risk. You must risk your time and ofcourse, your money. The truth is that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not stable and are not meant to be. The investment part of this currency is for you to buy cheap and leave till you can sell high. Some people buy it cheap and sure that some will buy it expensive. Take position when the looks like the market is down and sell when you feel you are comfortable to sell.

Don't expect Bitcoin to be stable, at least not now. More and more people heard about cryptocurrencies and become interested in them. Some of them are here only to earn money, others are waiting to see growing Bitcoin adoption. People don't believe that Bitcoin could be used as a currency because its value change too much. I understand such concerns but we have to be aware that Bitcoin value will always change because it has limited supply of about 21 million coins. It will be more and more difficult to get 1 BTC which will make it more expensive.

Yes, because it is in the hands of private large investors who monipuliruyut them as well as other cryptocurrencies as they want, and the rest of the stupidly believes that bitcoin just sank for a while, although in fact it is a banal fixation of profits of large players. And when large amounts of money are poured into cryptocurrencies, in particular bitcoin, the stupid crowd begins to buy up all the hype thereby filling the bubble that will burst once again and the price will drop again. But still bitcoin has a future)))

Bitcoin's value has been steadily rising over the period of a month. The market had crashed severely owing to several FUDs and it took it a lot of time to eventually catch up pace. Now, the price has averaged between 8500-9500$ and it has been successful in breaking several Resistance Points and Bull Traps. The investors have shown their faith in Bitcoin again and with the increment in the price of bitcoin, the other currencies too have incremented. It is expected that this pace will continue till the last fiscal.

Bitcoin cannot be stable. It is the nature of this things. In the stock market the price of stock always go ups and down. The crypto market is also like Stock market. It has always ups and down. Nothing can be continuously rising. On the other hand if it become stable no one show their interest to BTC. So, it must needs the volatility.

Bitcoin in general can not be stable in price terms. If he stands still for a while in his value, this is most likely an accident. Since bitcoin is decentralized and does not have a single governing body, its price is not regulated by anyone and not supported, as central banks do with regard to national money, the price is formed exclusively on the basis of the supply-demand ratio, which are always variable, the price simply can not be stable. We see that the price of bitcoin is constantly influenced by various news factors and it always reacts very sensitively to them, although quickly and then it is restored in its value to the majority of them.

Bitcoin has achieved relative stability over the past few years, its value doesn't depend on factors other than the forces of demand and supply. But in the long run BTC is still a cryptocurrency and the Volatile and unpredictable characteristic applies to it too. Its currently on the rise but we cant be certain on how long it will stay at the top value But compared to other coins, the bitcoin valuation has more stability. We can only hope that it doesn't rise too high and don't fall too low

Actually bitcoin is an investment because of its fluctuating value and rate. If not so it would've been a currency that is stable. We all know and we all see bitcoin as our currency to the future but in order for that to happen is that bitcoin needs to be stable in terms of rate or value. If this doesn't go like that then it is impossible for bitcoin to be a currency. It is just a matter of perspective if you can hold till you get a certain amount of profit if you are investing to bitcoin.

The price of bitcoin can never be stable because:
1.  We forgot its basic character i.e. currency.  Instead of using it as currency people started it using as a source of investment.
2.  When people invest in something always their motive behind investment remains to gain and earn profit by investing in it.
3.  So when we use it as source of investment it's price definitely will be unstable because some speculators will enter in this market and their presence will force the market to move to the directions as directed by speculators.
Expecting returns as well as stability from bitcoin can never be true.

In fact, Bitcoin is the most volatile crypto in the market. So you can turn to other cryptos in the market to invest as putting investments in Bitcoin is not affordable as well as it's volatile nature can lead to a huge loss of money.

All people who are here can explain it with their prediction but even though it is a prediction as we can see since bitcoin invented more people are trusting on it because they know and feel that bitcoin will be stable as source of income and not intheir value.

I think Entering May, we see a gradual increase in bitcoin values. This leads me to this question, How stable is bitcoin? What are the factors that show a constant movement in addition to the facts compared to the last years are unpredictable in financial terms, but the sudden decline suppresses many investors. What kind of hope for investors not to be confused and eventually sell btc stock there because of its declining value.

crypto-currencies now require more regulatory clarity, as well as more recognition from large traditional companies that even institutional investors enter the crypto-ecosystem, they also need to go to the market itself, leaving behind the "blockchein is not bitcoin" pattern.

most investors are now looking for the next bitcoin, while the flagship of the crypto-currency industry already seems to them "boring." Despite this, I believe that Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most promising crypto-currencies for institutional trading.

Good thinking and I agree with your thoughts.
I am sure soon bitcoin prices start to show a high price and we are just waiting for a definite time but we should anticipate the fear of falling prices so we as follow bitcoin must be so careful so we do not feel ngedrop in the face of falling prices.

Bitcoin remains unstable. However, the duality of Bitcoin as both assets and currency may be responsible for instability. As prices rise or fall, those who perceive Bitcoin as an asset are encouraged to sell quickly. These large transactions cause significant market fluctuations in short periods.

Small-scale transactions, such as usually made with currency fiat, create stability in price, but require liquidity. As the market is starting to change towards new and better ways to provide liquidity, market stability should increase.

However, for volatility to be controlled by liquidity, users must feel comfortable with Bitcoin as an asset. Users must be sure that they will be able to use Bitcoin at any time. With increasing value and time, the size of the Bitcoin market increases, gradually suppressing instability.

I think volatility is the beauty of Bitcoin. Many people attracted to BTC due to Volatility. Though the use of volatility is too much risky. I think the price of BTC will stable after a certain period of time when the investor of BTC decrease and people will use it as mode of payment. But now, I think we can make profit from BTC in long run. We hope the price of BTC will no more applicable after two or three month. It may exceed the previous year record.

I think until whenever nobody will know the stability of bitcoin prices with certainty. until whenever I think the bitcoin price will be like a wave. with the ups and downs of market prices, traders can work and make a profit. indeed I acknowledge the drastic price decline will increasingly oppress the investors. perhaps the current investor's expectation is to expect the price of bitcoin in the future to reach 50k. so they will not be confused again, and investors will be happy.

if you can afford to lose the principal, then you might make the investment. It's a thought experiment: will you lose sleep over it when the value halves? This question only you can answer for yourself.

No one knows for sure what will happen with bitcoin and her price. There are no guarantees, just indicators. The indicators seem to point upwards, but anything is possible.

Just make sure that you take proper precautions on where to store your coin.

Bitcoin price will never be stable, it will depend from supply&demand and that`s a process with
no end. Who can dominate over decentralized market, and control supply&demand?
But as a technology Bitcoin is very stable. After so many time no one hacked it? That`s something.
It`s stand better than ever. Price is high, transactions are fast and cheap, it`s being accepted
by companies all the time.

Why are you obsessed with price? Compare price with last, or any other year before this. That`s
a huge improvement when you have bottom at $7000.

Bitcoin is quite stable technically, but price wise it is still quite unstable and this volatility is due to no regulatory over watch and the markets being open 24 hours for trading. Also as the market cap increases of Bitcoin it will become more stable and the price volatility will keep on decreasing with it.

For me based on my analysis, try to look the chart last December 22, 2017  that was the highest price ever then followed by December 25, 2017 which was Christmas Day am I right? That was the time that Bitcoin Price was started to falling down you know what? base on my observation many people are selling their bitcoin because of their financial needs because it's Christmas day that time, so people are selling their stock then followed by others and it was like domino also followed by the other people was panic during that time because it will continuously go down until now. that's the big reason why the price coming from the 10 feet below the ground in shortly speaking. but for now it will gradually growing up and hopefully it will continue back to the usual price or much better if more then that.

Bitcoin today is extremely not so stable, and there's no way you can buy the same thing with the same amount of bitcoin day to day, And the bitcoin is still not yet a form of currency, it's still a form of asset and will be for quite for some time to come, Bitcoin’s price is a moving target. In the short term, the cryptocurrency is plunging in value: from north of $17,000 a month ago, it crashed down to around $8,500 today.

We could also get a good idea here that people can still do their jobs without worrying about sudden fall of the price since it is in stable state. Maybe the fact that holders does not want to sell their btc stocks since the price is still low and it makes the price stable and stagnant. Yes, we are referring and giving our hope to investors so that the price will go around.

To elaborate, once people begin seeing bitcoin as the lucrative long-term investment plan it potentially is, more and more investors will come in, thereby stabilizing bitcoin price dramatically. Garnering this interest from investors is, however, an uphill task.

As I would see it, bitcoin isn't steady in any way, and that is really something worth being thankful for most particularly in trading. This down string of most digital currencies as I would like to think is something to be thankful for, in light of the fact that it's in this time we can purchase more coins to hold and sit tight for it bring us benefit, offering would not be my choice despite the fact that bitcoins cost is going down, on the off chance that I offer my coins I would simply be offering them in a lower cost and I would'nt like that to happen.

In efforts to give bitcoin price more stability and weight than it currently has as a digital currency, plans for a much-awaited bitcoin Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are underway.

Bitcoins is really not that stable at all when it’s compared with the other investment assets, mainly because it’s a very new market and because there is a lot of FUD going around it which makes it volatile and unstable.

the amount of supply will not make the bitcoin price stable
if you want the bitcoin price is stable the total supply must be fixed / no distribution anymore
just like Tether (USDT) also TrueUSD (TUSD) one dollar for one unit USDT / TUSD

Many people keep saying it's too volatile and unstable, but I can't see it now. It stays in range of 10000 +- for more than a year and I can't see it change in folds anymore. It's much more predictable then it used to be. It's quite stable and this year will show how much.

I'm really sure bitcoin price is really depends on demand.
To increase bitcoin price we have to create a demand for bitcoin, we have to create something that people really want it and it using bitcoin.
Nowadays user of bitcoin is not really much yet, so bitcoin price is not stable right now.

Bitcoin is not stable, it is always changing especially to its price that we can see the gradual increased and decreased of the price of bitcoin because of the thing that it is affects by some of the factors like the supply and demand and also the day with a celebration that we usually celebrated.

Bitcoin prices will never stabilize because bitcoins are decentralized and that's why bitcoin prices depend only on the economic laws of demand and supply, and that's why bitcoin prices are constantly changing.

This is not a bullish run. The schedule of bitcoin from the beginning of the year is 100% bearish, we have not yet broken the trend of falling prices. For this it is necessary that the price of bitcoin rises above 14-16 thousand dollars.

Well as of this writing, the price of Bitcoin is around $8.5k we clearly had a rough start for 2018, then it is slowly getting back on track. Yes I said slowly, since it has just been around $8K-$9K for a few weeks now, I am not saying it is stable, it is still trying to go up, don't worry too much. Based on the historical trends, mostly the rise of the price would be on the latter part of the year, so we are still in a good track, slow but still there.

The price of bitcoin can not be stabilized as a result of the fact that more investors will come to it. If they invest more, the price of bitcoin will increase and its volatility will only grow from this.

To slightly stabilize the price of bitcoin, it needs to be used more as a means of payment, and not as a means for investing. The use of bitcoin as a means for investing and accumulating value is a dead-end path that can only lead to the depreciation of bitcoin.

With that statement you start to mislead yourself from gaining knowledge believing and stating that bitcoin itself is stable. First of all the cryptocurrency is well controlled by us, so the prices will depend on us because we are the buyers, users and investors who demands. If you are asking how stable bitcoin as it is then it's safe to say that it has a very good stability for the past years since it was made. Then if you are asking the market right now then that's a different story. And don't mind other investors for selling low, it is their big loss and not ours. Just stay and keep the faith it will be very much rewarding you'll see. Most of the pioneers know that.

A large discrepancy between the perception of Bitcoin as a method of investing funds and the method of transferring funds: Bitcoin instability is also largely caused by a different view of the protocol as a method of investing funds and a method of transferring funds. The current fluctuations of the Bitcoin rate may call into question its value as a method for investing funds, however, it allows you to send funds with almost zero fees, which in the future, when the top limit of bitcoins will be achieved, will have a significant impact on the exchange rate.

It is stable more than you ever expect! I can say that because as of today still many people are saying that bitcoin is still not that stable because of some bad issues that every days comes out. Here in our country it is more issues arise because a lot of bad people had used bitcoins name for their scam and fraud. And as their complaints arise the name and the stability of bitcoin were affected. But despite of those issues I can still say that bitcoin somehow had built their stability because a lot of big business are still tighten up or making a way to incorporate bitcoin on their business or industry.

Bitcoin is not stable though it is a digital currency that is possible of creating profit through investment or trading. Bitcoin price falls because some people are dumping their bitcoins in large quantities that it strongly affects its price movement. Investors need to be calm and composed everytime it happens because it is natural and we cannot stop people from selling their coins if they want .

Bitcoin is far from what we call "stable". Even now we can't still call it stable currency because the price is ranging up and down for like $100 for every second and time. It is better if it is an investment that we expect to gain in a period of time. Since bitcoin is a good investment in a long term because of its rate it is a good source of income and profit if your salary alone isn't able to satisfy your daily needs and daily expenses that you need to meet.

Bitcoin is definitely not a stable currency.

Stability of the value of a currency depends on supply and demand. How many bitcoins are in existence vs. how many people want to use them to mediate exchanges, or to collect them because they might appreciate over time.

The currency tends to be deflationary, assuming the user base will increase. There is a gradually slowing down creation process for the currency, where a fixed final target amount of 21 million bitcoins is approached with increasing difficulty in the creation process. This process is essentially pre-programmed and takes no heed of demand. The user base could increase by orders of magnitude but the amount of coins to work with is not flexible.

Yes bitcoin is just like this and we will have to know what condition bitcoin is passing through, if today price of bitcoin is low then it will rise high have faith don’t sell at panic, bitcoin keep on changing price it never remain same for long time, because of bitcoin volatile nature and as bitcoin is decentralized currency so it will increase more and more with time no need to sell it if you find market dumping, have patience and wait for pumping, do care for your bitcoin as your child.

No one knows for sure what will happen with bitcoin and her price. There are no guarantees, just indicators. The indicators seem to point upwards, but anything is possible.

Bitcoin's value has seen spectacular plunges only to recover and rise.
Each time, a huge price gain was followed by a crash, leading many people to declare that
the currency had been nothing more than a bubble. Each time, the currency has defied critics, regaining
the previous highs and then pushing still higher.

Bitcoin is synonymous with the cryptocurrency market. It always has the highest price on the market and is stable to this day. Although the market fluctuates, the price of bitcoin is always the highest. Therefore, bitcoin creates trust for all investors in the market cryptocurrency. In the future, I think the price of bitcoin will be high and we can not predict how high.

Are you talking about price? Price is volatile. If you're talking about the tech, Bitcoin is extremely solid. One of the aspects that fascinates me most about it, even after all the years, is how solid and stable its tech is. Awesome, basically.

I am very optimistic that in June or July this year, Bitcoin will show high prices. Although sometimes its price decreases, investors or users or buyers will have to be patient in this case. Bitcoin is expensive from other currencies. The demand and usage of the world is increasing. So I hope this will be stable in June or July.

Indeed, the current price of bitcoin tends to decline and is priced at $ 7,577.7437
but we know if bitcoin always has fluctuative characteristics and not impossible in the next few weeks bitcoin price will increase again

It is not stable mate, not at all. Also, even though it's funny, I think the world "stable" is one such words that would not be related to this market in the long run. I say that because one of the key features of this market is how volatile assets can be, and so, it may drop down at any time, but it may also fall at any time. Just like the saying, "The only constant thing is change." I feel that that saying is the best words to describe this market, because the only stable thing to expect is how the assets will continuously move and change.

Bitcoin and stability are not synonymous. I really agree with you, the only stable thing about bitcoin is that it's price will always be volatile, however bitcoin's unpredictability and it's unexpected climbs and falls are what makes it so interesting and exciting.

Because everyone was telling that bitcoin price will increase in this month or in June to July but now bitcoin is falling down highly! Just unpredictable coin it is. bitcoin well is very unstable, if only because the stable Crypto currency is a fixed-rate currency. The majority of currencies are determined by the market: buyers and sellers exchange tokens, and the rate is formed by supply and demand. once bitcoin - the highest in the value of the crypto currency and on its price depends on other currencies, think how stable it is ;)

The market value of bitcoin is again, falling. But that's a normal thing since Bitcoin is naturally volatile so sudden changes on its market price from time to time is always expected. Surely, investors are awared of that and they better should. Besides, dumps are just temporary so the loss of profit during the the dips is just partial. Once the market starts to grow once again, profit will then be earned so we better hold and avoid selling.

On a stability rate of 1 to 10, 1 being the highest and 10 being the lowest, I would give Bitcoin a point of 4. Bitcoin is more unstable rather than stable. It cannot be made stable for a long time because its value is actually dictated upon by the rise and fall of Bitcoin demand in the world. There are times when the demand and selling are almost equal. This is one reason why there is a slight stability with its price.

Bitcoin is relatively stable but can never be 100% stable since bitcoin does not have a fix price due to how volatile the bitcoin market is and also bitcoin price is highly base on the law of demands and supply so at that the price is always affected by it demands in the market. But in recent cases we have seen how bitcoin have struggle to remain at $7000 for some time now that is relatively a stable movement.

I think so. Bitcoins are being priced up in the cryptocurrency market so they are rising at a steeply low rate and taking place frequently. At present, the price of the market is falling and anyone expects the market to rise again to put confidence and continue to participate in the market.

it will be hard to wait for the stable price of bitcoin which is profitable because there comes many investors that cause to increase the rate of volatility. There is high demand for it but also there so many contribute for the drop of price to have more drop in price which take opportunity to buyers to take risk because it low and they can buy much more.

the stability of crypto market presents a very interesting development.

All cryptocurrencies at this stage of development are subject to a wide margin of fluctuations.Such high volatility can be traced in part,to the fact that the adoption level is still at infancy and we have a large concentration in the hands of a few individuals who can easily manipulate the market for their own benefit. With a few  tens of billions, you can manipulate the market.

Definitely, if we talk about bitcoin's value or price, it is not so stable in the sense that it moves constantly in an unpredictable rate and manner. But if we are referring to its condition and standing in the market scene. It has already made a firm and solid place for it self. Bitcoin and all altcoins are very volatile assets.Much of the price movement are driven by speculations, rumours, partnership etc and (not much at this stage by functionality)Some day, with better adoption, the price of bitcoins will be relatively stable. It can then be used for the original intention of Satoshi Nakamoto, which is as a means of payment.Bitcoin market will then not be open to market abuse or manipulation as everyone will own a piece rather than its concentration in the hands of a few individuals.

As far as I know in terms of bitcoin price it is not suitable to be stable. It should be up and down in order to let the people know when is the right time to buy or it is the right time to hold. If we can see bitcoin as in stable of course de don't have any feelings to hold it because we know it wouldn't increase anymore. So let us considered the pump and dump as a blessings in disguise.

This remarkable coin has made the whole world amazed by its charm and characteristics. As we can see and what we observe about bitcoin prices, it always changes and there are several factors that affect why it happens. From the beginning I know everyone here knows that bitcoin prices are unstable, but if you are looking for a stable investment company, start looking for it because you are misguided, the path to success is a good way of the future and that is bitcoin.

Yea I think bitcoin will only become stable once mass adoption happens and all bitcoin is spread among a lot of different people if most of it is in the hands of the few then it is really no better than fiat

That will be great but the question here is that, how will the people use Bitcoin if a lot of them have them? Bitcoin is known for a long time now and a lot of investors looks at it as an asset but not as a currency.

That will be obvious now, since a lot of people took Bitcoin as an asset, it will be treated by a lot of people as an asset that means it will be saved or holded by these individuals until it makes a good price pump and sell it and that will obviously dump the price not making any differences.

Bitcoin is very stable in these days and if we have a look at the bitcoin history then now the price is good and i hope that it will more stable if the banks allow this currency for their operation and investment in crypto sector.
maybe it needs a lot of reason or maybe the people that may have to allow that bitcoin as a currency on banks but this is definitely takes time and year before it may done.

What sort of deem of hope to investors not to become disoriented and eventually selling there btc shares as its value decrease. What do you think guys?

Because these investors had already put their trust in bitcoin and had seen bitcoin in its worst and darkest moment yet it stand proud and loud. So whatever will happen today or tomorrow they still hold bitcoin until it reach to a value where everyone can't afford it.

And if these investors dump their holdings, probably bitcoin will be in huge dump.

Bitcoin is inconsistent and not stable because of unpredictable value of bitcoin but i know the coming years of bitcoin will be successful, Right now is the best time to join bitcoin i encourage you to take a risk because of wrong perception or wrong image of bitcoin in some states and country. Bitcoin is legit, inconsistent but helpful.

As for me changes is the only permanent in crypto world because all coins are volatile and I think volatility brings opportunity to every trader and investor to be profitable because if bitcoin is stable and have a stagnant value then no more wants to buy it and people will preferably go on altcoin investment to trade it into bitcoin, but certainly volatility is a crypto world challenges.

I am very sure bitcoin is very stable. With a decrease in previous value, it will be completely destroyed if not rooted properly. Since January was the worst in February it has started up again in mid-March. If the cryptocurrency is not strong enough it could have been lost by that time in the early years where it has no value or with a very less value. It can always experience a price shift easily only in the blink of an eye I believe bitcoin is a very pfofitable cryptocurrency and stable.

i don't think stability will ever be achieved by bitcoin because for one, bitcoin possesses a tremendously volatile characteristic and with that alone, stability is very much hard to achieve; that is if we are talking about its value. so long as there are people that buy and sells bitcoin and mines it at the same time, bitcoin will continuously become unstable and i think that is a good sign because for people who invests in it especially long tern investment, stability implies that there will be no profit gained.

You are right about there are more factor however bitcoin is stable itself what the unstable is the price. Only the price makes everybody crazy about bitcoin. As a matter of fact almost everyone dream to have bitcoin even a little. For me bitcoin is not stable in terms of price for bitcoin value will probably increase.

I think This leads me to this question, How stable is bitcoin? What are the factors that indicate a constant movement in addition to the facts compared from the last years are unpredictable in financial terms, but suddenly oppressive oppressive investors. What kind of hope for investors not to be confused and finally sell btc stock there because of its declining value. What do you think people are?
Entering April, we see a gradual increase in bitcoin values.

I believe that the stability of the Bitcoin is not that good due to the reason of its volality. Its unstability is one of the reason why Bitcoin cannot be considered as an official currency.

Bitcoin was never been stable, yes it stop in an estimation but for me it doesn't stabilize due to the fact that Bitcoin is a very volatile cryptocurrency, since day 1 it was naturally volatile in value and I think thats because of the public demand and supply that is happening and given the fact that this is a very decentralized forum in which there would be no sponsor or entity to support financially to maintain in certain value.

indeed entering the month of April yesterday bitcoin prices began to rise, and currently decreased again, of course for new investors will experience confusion and wonder, but that should be the investors or traders should still hold their bitcoin when the price decreased as it is today , as more and more investors are selling some bitcoin they have, it will further lower the bitcoin price, but for the old investors it will make them a chance to buy some bitcoins for them to save.

For me Bitcoin itself is stable but the price is not. Bitcoin's price fluctuation is a normal occurrence because of its volatility in nature the whales as they call it have taken advantage of it. They can manipulate the price according to their plans that's why last year crazy big bubble happened that reached its all-time high that never stayed that long then gradual price correction began after that.

Those are the signs of weak hands I think if you just sell your holdings for a loss. Remember that volatility in bitcoin price gives us the profit if we do it the right way. Which is why it is very important to be patient when dealing with crypto.

Even with Bitcoin's improving prices, it still is highly unstable. We have volatility to attest and to thank for that.
It's high volatility is prominently regarded as one of it's contributing and attractive characteristic that made Bitcoin
what it is today. But I think there are certain times that Bitcoin is stable or close enough to it, when it continues
to climb up it's considered stable for a time being.

The power of bitcoin is decentralization. Bitcoin does not belong to any centralized banking system, so it is stable.
I think bitcoin is volatile because of its decentralized system.  If there is an international regulatory system for bitcoin like the IMF and World Bank for the financial sector. It's only stable for a period and fluctuate most of the time

When the first bitcoin is made then the most preferred concept is decentralization so the price depends on the market and never expect that bitcoin prices can be stable even though one day the price has reached $ 1 million or the marketcap has reached $ 100,000 trillion.

There's too much negativity in the main stream, I think we need atleast one great positive news to come to recover what we lost, especially those users who did quit early. We must take back the confidence of the users and have new investors to pump up the cycle of money in the market.

Just like other cryptos,  achieving  stability in cryptocurrency is not a very easy thing a long as these coins remain independence,,there will be no regulation value, this way, the value has the capability to rise three or more times, e same way, it makes losses at the sae rate hence making it uneasy to work on this specific program

It is very unstable and volatile that is why bitcoin is impossible to predict and all the seasoned investor does is to really on which season will it rise and crash plus monitoring the news can also give you clue on the next market behavior of bitcoin.
