What's the point? The owner will still know the winning box provably fair or not so if the individual is going to cheat he will make sure to buy the box in question that holds the winnings when he so chooses to do so. I think the only way this could be provably fair would be for a 3rd party to hold the secret.

Darling, what you are looking for is not called provably fair. Please recheck what you know, or what you think you know, about that.

PROVEN EVENT #1:
If a site generates a random 256 bit number and provides me the hash I know they can't change it after the fact.  If they change their secret number it won't produce the same hash.

PROVEN EVENT #2
If I generate my own 256 bit number and provide it to the site (after EVENT #1) and the site XOR the two values to use as the "combined secret" then I can prove that the site couldn't have rigged the random number in their favor (as they don't know until after selecting their random number what mine will be).

PROVEN EVENT #3
If the game is based on the combined secret in #2 I can prove it was done fairly.  After the game the site will reveal their secret number (which I can verify hashes to the hash provided in event #1).  I can also verify that the "game secret" is the XOR of the house's secret number and my secret number.  Assuming the house also provides details steps on how that number produces the output I can verify they have shown me the proper output (sequence of cards, winning number, win/loss, etc).

When those three events occur and in the proper order, and are verified by the user it is not possible for the house to cheat.  Try to think of a scenario where the house could cheat and not be detected.  It is mathematically proven that if I lost then it was due to "fair chance".

No. The price of the bet get higher as the chances of winning the pot increase. So when the game start is cheaper.

Also the POT will start to increase when the block #2000 gets discovered. So if the POT gets discovered by the position 8000 the pot in that point will be more than 20 BTC.

you should lower the bet amount to 0.0009,  0.0016 looks really high to many peoples,  you see it because today no one played the game? i can still see my "box open" message from yesterday

Good idea, we will work in an admin panel so when you put your payment address you will see your earnings.

Regarding the bet amount, its lower when the game start, and then it gets higher each 100 unlocked blocks.

I can tell you that people plays, there's a bet for every 35 to 50 visitors. Also there're a lot of hidden prizes, the biggest one is the pot, of course, but there are a lot of bet multipliers from 10x to 2x

The ideal scenario is that people places only 1 bet, I don't want to make that kind of game where people gets addicted, you play 10 times you wins 8, but in the long term they ended up loosing it all, like the slots, you win less than your bet.

I guess the game will be more frequently played when we reach the block #5000, the pot will be around 10 BTC (if no one find it first).

Anyway, I always try to make something different; something original, simple, functional. Everyone were developing casinos and satoshidices copies, so I decided to came up with a new game approach.

Create something everybody want play, lets say a gaming site where you can challenge other players for bitcoins..  1 versus 1  billiard  or   4 player minigolf and the winner gets all.

Thats no luck game, its skill and makes fun. And fun = people coming back to have more fun.

Its a win or lose game. You can hit the jackpot position and win 3 BTC (at the moment), once the count of blocks discovered gets to 2000 the pot will start to raise, it can reach more than 30 BTC, depending the quantity of blocks remaining.

I was thinking and while I do like the concept, the interesting thing (and maybe problem) is that it is statistically anomalous.

Suppose you have 5 options and 1 price.
The first person's chance is 1/5
The second person's chance is 4/5 times 1/4 =1/5
The third person's chance is 4/5 times 3/4 times 1/3 =1/5
The fourth person's chance is 4/5 times 3/4 times 2/3 times 1/2 = 1/5
The last person's chance is also 1/5

However, in the case of the grid the second person doesn't pay until the first person has tried and failed. This means that the chance goes up until a pot or price is found and so on. This means that it can be statistically calculated when it is the right time to play.

This is not necessarily problematic (people still play blackjack without counting cards), just thought I'd let you know.

If it becomes a problem, the effect can be countered by providing more multipliers in the beginning and taking them away after a certain amount of blocks are removed.
