The third quarter of the year is coming! What are your speculations about bitcoin and altcoins?

Bitcoin will worth one trillion dollars.

We are still not even halfway done with second quarter but bullish on second and third quarters. Hope to see bitcoin and many others make new highs by end of third quarter.

if bitcoin can remain stable and continue to rise until the end of Q2, then a high rise may occur, perhaps above $10k.
there are alt many who update and launch their products in Q3 later, I hope there is movement and growth that must happen.

You are too advance for that,we are in the first month of 2nd quarter for this year and the 3rd quarter are too long to go,but my assumption with bitcoin and eth for this year is that they will be significant growth with their prices and the development of some alt coins will continue on the the other hand some of them might go to become scam.

I think that Q3 is going to be a turning point for the crypto market.

The first half of the year has been pretty bearish to start with, and I can see a correction coming across the entire crypto market after the pump is over. I don't think that this bearishness can keep up forever, though.

I believe that in Q3 there will be some more consolidation at first, then a massive recovery of the crypto market.

More bullish, bullish and bullish. I just try toi get the old chart as the best example what will be happening we will meet Q4 at this year. Remember in Q2 the cryptocurrency has already created a good comeback to the sky. Bitcoin only needs to doubled to surpass old ATH and reach another one again.

I believe most of the posts here are saying that cryptocurrencies will soon explode and "moon." My more conservative opinion though would be that the market will continue in an uptrend but won't be far from where we are today. I would be happier if the value of bitcoin and other altcoins, like Ethereum, rises slowly because i feel that gradual increases in value are healthier and are more resistant to shocks and crashes.

i expect this coming third quarter bitcoin including all altcoin become stable in the price continue to to increase special for the bitcoin hoping the year race the old price value in the market may 20k reach bitcoin at the month of September 2018.

My speculation to bitcoin as usual this will show another great and spectacular run that we are not expecting and for altcoins? they'll follow the leader.

Bitcoin most of the time does not very well in the first quarter of the year, which means that most the time the second quarter is a quarter in which we recover, so I really think that the third quarter is going to be very good for bitcoin, I think we're going to see prices between 12000 and 14000 by the end of the quarter.

quarters do not decide what will be the market conditions at that time , have to see many factors . so just be patient .

If everything went the same way as it did last year, then touching into those value is really possible, for now, we just need to recover and still consider holding, or having time to put to watch the market and news to know what we should do if many fuds strikes again.

It would be a terrible pumping of the Crypto market. From the beginning of the year until now there has been no strong investment from investors, this is a good time for them to invest in the Crypto market.
The altcoins will increase at an average of 30-35%, bitcoin will increase to about 15-20%. Please believe in it because history will repeat again.

If this quarter finishes strong then we should see third quarter carry on with a stable foundation and bigger momentum. My belief is that it will depend a lot on Bitcoin itself of course but also all the ICOs that finished in end 2017 and early 2018, if their development objectives are kept, promises are fulfilled and all that, then alts will grow strong. If ICO projects all do not do well in progress, we will see token sell offs and people buying back into ETH and others.

We are in return to bullish market in q2 and q3 looked like half of q3 will be up and half again will be correction and consolidation again untill first month q4 finish and after that 1 month of consolidation again before we are taking off to the moon. Its just my prediction base on last year market.

If all predictions will come true in a certain point of time in the future, $50.000, $250.000, $700.000 people will be predicting really million dollars in the very next years  ;D

Bitcoin market cap will be one trillion dollars some day, whether that happens this year or next remains to be seen. Currently, crossing over $10000 seems to be the main hurdle for bitcoin.

This coming third quarter , only I know it will going to recovered from the last dip in for months ago, which is all crypto coins are fall. And i guess before the end of the year bitcoin and other altcoins will going rise again and reach the huge price.

I think there will be good performance in the third quarter. There may be a bigger risk in the fourth quarter.

People who are holding the crypto from than a year now are expecting the same thing and market will recover by the end of the year. In this crypo market we have to hold until, our desired target is reached.

The price will still the same and the fluctuations up and downs are still normal for crypto so that would definitely happen in the incoming quarter while other altcoins have their own business and platforms to attend while it is pumping or dumping, that would be for just the opening of the said quarter, mid and post will have a different outcomes most especially fo bitcoin and the top alts as the chance for the btc to break the 10k is high this coming month.

It is still a long way before we reach Q3 of this year. There will be more ups and downs on the road within the next few months before we reach Q3. There could even be lower dip than $6k. But, I could be wrong, we are currently seeing a strong support at $9k level and I am hoping for BTC to sustain that price level. There is another issue in for BTC, Mt. Gox has not released the Kraken yet.

If the current prices remains stable then it would be possible that their would be a new raise in prices somewhere in the middle of the 3rd quarter this year. However just expect that their will be also a new dip and correction as their are many speculations going around. So before the next dip be ready to buy potential altcoin.

At the middle of year 2018, we can see the price of Bitcoin is increasing very slowly, its recovery speed is always higher than any other altcoins, and Altcoins is rising slowly too, so it will be very easy to know the market will have a good pump at the end of this year, Altcoins will be the best target of all pumps, unless we can push BTC through 10k$, we may not be able to see the greatest rising of all time, but i believe this year will have the best time for altcoins growth.

I think in the summer BTC will dump slowly. After some raising on the May-June. And 3rd Q is not very valuable for quarter reporting. It's passing period not important for most

That is the thing with bitcoin, the moment you think you have figured out how it's going to move then it moves in a completely different way that you are not expecting and now you need to complete reevaluate everything you have been doing and your strategy until that point but at the same time that is what makes bitcoin so interesting.

Yes I agree with what you said, one step at a time. We are still in the mid of the third quarter. So maybe for now, let us just focus on what is going on now and not be too excited for the another quarter coming. But let us just hope for the best for this quarter and other quarters coming.

Based from history, ATHs could be broken in this part of the year and we might see that in some coins and tokens out there. Though the 4th quarter is the most promising quarter for the cryptocurrencies in general, third quarter is where the foundation of the upcoming surge happens. So we should expect the prices be close to the recent ATH in the third quarter.

Can I say this seems too early to be speculating about the Q3 when we have not pass have of the Q2, the market recovered in Q2 from the slide we have being seeing since February. I think we need for now to have BTC about $10k which to me is a strong psychological barrier

Q1 was a bear market, crypto is either going to crash into the ground or stay afloat. Q2 we now know it is here to stay, investors are hesitantly returning to the market, Q3 it is a full bull market, going back up to the ATH

Nobody like bear markets. No exceptions here also. The problem with growth of BTC is that nobody will be able to have good ICO in case of such growth and we all defenitely need new ideas and projects.

Third quarter of the year is fast approaching and similar to the fast approach will be the growth of bitcoin and other digital currencies. Probably the most important thing is the support it is to get from the governments. The third quarter will mark a massive support from different countries leading to a growth that might take the price cross $15000 within few weeks time.

I agree that third and fourth quarters should be very good for the market and at the least, we can expect new highs for the total crypto market cap and for most of the coins too.

Many people have their experiences during the last year third quarter performance so i believed mostly will expect that the price will pump up for sure hitting the ATH again but i think after hitting the $19,000 again then for sure many will going to sell their Bitcoin because of fear of the latest ultimate dip experiences which occur during the end of fourth quarter.

Third quarter and later has historically been good to crypto. Just take a look at last year's bull run. It was tremendous. All holders are definitely in for a treat. Seems almost too easy because all you need is discipline and patience to just HODL your coins and don't sell.

In words it seems to be very impressive but when it comes to reality people don't have that much patience to wait. People should understand one thing any business will not give profits on short period of time. So we have to wait until our turns comes but we mean while we have to do research about the market in order to more awareness about the market and other projects.

The third quarter is still far away and anything can happen. In the third quarter of the year, I expect the value of bitcoin and some stable altcoin to recover full and experience a boom in price value because by then their blockchain would have gained more investors and some coin will also use these channels for their mode of payment.

Bitcoin will recover and there's no doubt with it.
Stable coin? That's why they are called stablecoin because it doesn't seem to have any impact and its value will remain regardless if the market is suffering or not.

I am pretty sure that bitcoin and ethereum won't beat ATH and keep staying on the same levels and even lower. But it istime to accumulate capital and buy cheap potential altcoins.

I think the beginning of quarter 3. bitcoin price will drop to 8k. and end of Q3. Bitcoin prices will reach 13,000$. a strong future for bitcoin.And altcoin will go up strongly along with bitcoin at the end of q3

This will probably happen because bitcoin now are dumping slowly from 9000$ plus maybe will decrease as expected this coming third quarter. But besides of its trending in decreasing this will easily recovered probably at the start of fourth quarter and as much as higher compared to last year 2017. It might be reach up to 13000$-15000$ and will bring some altcoins also to grow better.

"One trillion dolkars"? I doubt if this will happen but I know Bitcoin and altcoins will be better off then.  Market is always side way during the third quarter of the year and I think we may get to the four quarters of the year before market capitalization hit 1trillion. Most of the altcoins are currently down and we should start buying now that most of the altcoins are cheap.

Anything can happen as we are just half eay through the year. Asp the prices of many cryptocurrencies raised to almost half of its price from last year in the the last two weeks of april I would say that we should get ready for a possible dip ohn the mext few months and then the prices will raise again.

I expect that the consolidation of the whole market will continue throughout the summer. This means that there will be no global growth on all fronts. Perhaps in the fall, by the end of the Q3, the scenario will repeat from December 2017 to January 2018.

Today the forum has a lot of information that some coins have exceeded their previous maximum fast enough. They say from 1000 percent, but I doubt it very much, because you need to make sure of it personally.

Bitcoin can not reach a market capacity of perhaps $ 1 trillion, but if you subcontract it into the business, you can probably reach the $ 1 trillion target. In the last quarter of 2018, we can expect developments that will turn us astonished; these can be positive or negative.

Still early to predicting as we still at half of second quarter ways. So far by this 2nd quarter, the respondents are good enough it is located on altcoins, some of which quickly recovery when there is correction and stable in experiencing price increases.

I have my own prediction but please to anyone that will read this don't follow this. This is still a speculation and doesn't serve as an investment advice. I have hopes that after the third quarter, bitcoin will have at least another 50% increase from today's 200 day moving average. But will at least peak at 80% during the period.

I think from june we will start seeing bulls back in the market, my personal analyses is that bitcoin will become very strong and its dominancy will grow then this new money that will flow to bitcoin will move to other alts as well making them fly, i think its very healthy correction we have seen for last 4-5 months so now it is time for bulls.

This present situation of the crypto market is very much satisfying and that there is nothing to be worried about. The market value of the crypto coins is increasing and that is also resulting in a better demand rate of the crypto coins amongst the investors as well. As the third quarter is approaching, I believe the value of most coin will rise far more than it is presently because some are already recovering. Bitcoin will rise up about 10% and other coin will also increase.

My specualtions for the third quarter would have to be recovering still. I think both bitcoin and altcoins are still trying to recover from the drop and hopefully bitcoin can at least reach the $10k wall and altcoins could follow bitcoins path as well in the stage of recovery.

If a market can be defined as a speculative asset then there is nothing wrong in doing so  ;D. It might not be a strong investment advice but you can dabble some amount and consider it as a high risk short term asset because in the long run it will definitely go up.

If admire bitcoin the most. It is due to this crypto coin that many people were saved from financial crisis. New ways of earning are introduced and many other coins have also grabbed attention and potential. But that does not mean if will exaggerate this coin in any way. It is impossible for BTC o touch a market cap of trillion dollars on its own by the end of this year. If don’t even see the whole digital market doing this.

There are still doubts in the market after a downward trend of 50% at the beginning of the year. and it makes many users still scared and saving their money. I think it will be quite difficult for bitcoin to be able to reach $ 1 trillion marketcap if market conditions are still like this. eg if the market conditions like late last year. is it still possible?

We are still only halfway through the second quarter, so too much time between now and end of June to predict Q3. As we know, 1 week in crypto can change everything, from bear to bull, from winter to spring.

My thoughts right now is that I'm too confused by the market reaction. Q1 saw dips and dips, I thought this was going to get worse, but Q2 we saw BTC move towards 10k before today again just struggling even past 8500.

I bet more of the same for the next 6 weeks and Q3,,, but I never bet thinking to win.

My speculation  BTC price will plateau  in 9000 usd for several weeks in start of third quarter and it will continue climbing steadily until fourth quarter.

Its been so long to wait for this months to come and I think everybody will be excited if a huge pump will happen. Bull run market could cause those a panic buying scenario which will boom the price back again.

In my own opinion there won't be that huge rally for third quarter though there are some that is going to go up because of good news but for others that already made their way last january I am seeing that they will rally again by december. I kind of tend to think we're still hovering somewhere between depression and disbelief. Thinking back to the massive pumps of last december the market really needs time to adjust. If the marketcap of bitcoin goes to 500 billion then you will find the bitcoin price to reach the 20k USD easily. There is no need intervention by the shit corporate whales mate. That is reason we are seeing the dump in the market.

Fourth quarter will be the best one for every investors mate.

This is the common mentality of the people involved in this market. When the market shows signs of decline, many people fall into depression and have less exposure outside but when the market is green they will be more fun. I personally believe that anything can happen in this market as there are many upcoming events for the Cryptocurrency market and we will soon see Bitcoin go to the moon.

Bitcoin has a tendency to grow up in value at the end of the year and most of the time this begins on the third quarter so it is entirely possible that we see a small recovery on the second quarter and we see a more pronounced recovery on the third to finally see a full recovery on the fourth quarter.

I think the third quarter is what we all expect, namely the growth of market capitalization with all the ensuing consequences.

Well, it's better to be optimistic. I hope that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will reach a new heights. Last year, it seems that during the Q3, cryptocurrency is turn into a nice pattern and I hope this year it will happen as well.

Basing on previous years movements we would really able to tell such thing where 3rd quarter where pumps and price increase do happen but we shouldnt assume anytime that price would head up on that way every year. We might possible to see opposite thing or we didnt expect. We are still on 8k usd price in bitcoin and the total cap in the market is on 360B and going back to 700-800B cap wont really be that easy.

I bought my bitcoin at around $13000, I hope it can pass that price soon. Not so sure about how soon it will reach that price, but hopefully before end of this year. Still have confidence in the market.

Third quarter will be the very bullish as far i saw blood bath in the last second quarter but i believe there is some light in the end. We need to patient and not panic s3lling. Third Quarter is the time when the market is bustling. Because it's time for the altcoins to rebound and the time when investors are working hard.
In the Third Quarter, the altcoins will rebound by more than 30% and everything will increase dramatically. I believe that because last year the market was the same.

If we will see the last year performance then it is when the market starts to become healthy in which almost of the Altcoins become more expensive so for me most of us are very hopeful that the history may repeat itself but this is just a possibility because we are all knows that market is really unpredictable.

I don't think third quarter would be that much astonishing and the experts predicted that third quarter is peak and bullish for Bitcoin but I don't find any sign of that as of now since the current market is bearish. May be post this month the price may rise, Bitcoin have touched less than $8k few times and just touched once above $10k.

we cant say market can have a good surprise everyday but if we will based on the chart the time that bitcoin hits a good price is at the 3rd quarter of last year so we can expect that still as of now holding is better on todays market.
